Alon Shaya Reveals Location of His NOLA Restaurant | Eater New Orleans

"I considered Kenton’s an Uptown stalwart until it closed after dinner service on March 18; it had become a steadfast destination for excellent old-fashioneds, wood-fired oysters served on real oyster plates, and other contemporary Southern dishes. Opened in 2015 by Sean Josephs and Mani Dawes, the space was renovated with a sleek look that nodded to the genteel sport of horse racing and featured an impressive whiskey selection. It was planned as an all-day dining spot but had recently limited lunch to Fridays while keeping its popular Early Bourbon happy hour and even adding an unlimited cocktail option for brunch within the last two weeks. After struggling to meet their financial goals the owners reached out to Alon Shaya about taking over the lease, and Josephs and Dawes are refocusing their efforts elsewhere (Josephs on the Pinhook whiskey partnership; Dawes on their New York restaurants)." - Stephanie Carter

The atmosphere and the music was amazing. The bar is very pretty. The prices are not so bad considering that it is in the city centre and considering the quality. You can pay by card and also separate the bill if needed. Just amazing. Totally recommend it!

Our favourite bar we visited in Prague! Everything about this place was fantastic. Busy, vibrant atmosphere, flawless customer service, and amazing drinks. Definitely a recommended must visit, plus the owner made myself and my partner feel so welcome!

Fantastic cocktails and wonderful small appetizers in a stylish and classic setting! We had the Strawberry Mule, Dreaming Carafe, High Society and Public affair all very different and all really, really good. I would very much recommend this place to anyone who'd like a bit of a break from the pilsner.

Very nice atmosphere, friendly and communicating staff, really pleasant lighting that gives this bar so good vibes. And cocktail gin with passion fruit is just “wow”. Definitely recommend it!

The only bar we visited twice during our trip. Great amaretto sours! Prices as expected for cocktails in Prague. Service was attentive. The bar was quiet, presumably due to the low season in January. A cool place nonetheless.

Great interior, good music to go with it = hence great atmosphere! Nice cocktail menu (the little books might deserve a little „update“/reprint, but it s all about the content! ;) Service at the bar was a little mixed... the second bartender managed to wish a good evening and enquire about happiness level and additional drinks... his colleagues didn’t have their friendliest days or weren’t quite yet awake. The 4 cocktails sampled were good and very reasonable priced (around 190 czk), however lacked the love and finesse of a 5* rating ... would still come again though if the bartenders loosen up a little.

Beautiful bar with a great atmosphere. Music was very good and kept us entertained all night. The staff were as good as you can possibly get and very helpful. There is a wide selection of drinks which are very nice and the service time is also very good. Highly recommend 😁😁

Neat and pretty good coctails. Pleasing and oldschool atmosphere with suitable background music. The barkeepers really seem to know their job. The price is absolutely reasonable.
