Great spot for cocktails. Plenty of classics and house specialties- the umami tastes like ramen broth, super creative and delicious. But the watermelon mezcal might have been my favorite drink of the night Food menu is a bit light (and changes weekly) when we visited there were two types of hot dogs, a chicken salad sandwich, and a crab roll on the menu

Had some amazing cocktails here. The bartender was very knowledgeable and made us some drinks based on our preferences. The music was played from records, and they sell records in the back. Very unique experience and will go again! Thanks!

Nice new sport for cocktails! Good, traditional cocktail menu (reasonably priced between 12 and 14$), some beers available ($8 each). Vinyl tunes add a nice touch and the bar seats are comfy.

Me and my boyfriend went on a date here when we first started dating. It had just opened so we didn’t know what to expect but this bar very quickly became our favorite date night spot. We were made to feel at home which is so kind as neither of us are from Baltimore . We can’t wait to go back and bring our friends when they visit. Thank you for all you do and being our favorite date night

Very unique bar with good selection of obscure cocktails. I had a Watermelon and mezcal concoction which knocked my socks off. Fern, the bartender was fantastic, very attentive and informative. Gave many recommendations on booze and even local attractions to visit and take in.

Fantastic new local neighborhood spot. Wonderful vibes, great music, awesome bartenders. Great cocktails, great and unique beer selection, and they spin some sweet jazz/funk tunes. Absolutely worth a visit and spending some time.

Excellent craft cocktails in a cozy corner bar. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Groovy tunes spinning on vinyl.

Yelp
I've been to Kenwood Tavern a couple of times now (including last night before an event at Creative Alliance), and I enjoyed it both times. It's definitely a cocktail bar, but they have a handful of wines and beers if that's more your thing (they had a red, a white, and an orange when I was there last night). I had a glass of orange wine and a cocktail at the bar. And I think our whole group enjoyed our drinks. Maybe we're old now :( but we thought the music (great music, played on a record player behind the bar) was a little loud for 6-7pm (totally understandable if we'd be there at 10). The service is fine - maybe not the friendliest? But overall, a good bar I'm sure I'll continue to visit in Canton - large enough for groups, good cocktails, lots of cocktails on the menu, good vibes.

Yelp
I was so sad when Bar 1801 closed in Upper Fells. Kenwood Tavern is owned by the same people - Matt and Molly. Those who loved Bar 1801 won't find the same natural wine forward menu instead be delighted by wonderful cocktails speared by Fern. Located on Kenwood in Canton close-ish to Patterson Park - Kenwood is a little dive and hipster bougie. It's mainly dark in the inside with a few outdoor areas. The cocktails range from a wonderful nori and dashi based cocktail to a banana foster and mezcal and tepache. They still sell records and have a little wine but it's a wonderful cocktail bar first. There is some small bites of tin dish and hot dogs on the menu. It's definitely a neighborhood favorite and will be back time and time again.

Yelp
If you want a nice cocktail bar that's not your typical neighborhood sports bar, then Kenwood Tavern is the place to go in the Canton neighborhood. This place has a nice cozy date vibe or to catch up with friends. This place is dimly lit, with really cool disco vibes. They also sell vinyl records in the back for $5 dollars, so if your a record collector, this could be your jam. I will say this place can get a little crowded in the evenings, so come early, because they may only be 2-3 bartenders on duty, but they are really attentive and helpful. The menu is really small for food, so I really suggest this place as an after dinner stop for a night cap. The house cocktails are $16 and their beers are $8. And they have classic cocktails ranging between $12-$16 So the next time your in Canton, just stop in check them out, you won't be disappointed. Until next time SYOY

Yelp
If neighborhood sports bars aren't your vibe but you still want to get a nice drink and catch up with friends or come for a cosy date you should definitely check out this place. This is a dimly lit retro bar with a focus on disco. I love the fact that they play actual vinyls on a record player. It can get very busy so you seat yourself and order at the bar and they will bring your drinks when ready. Get ready to wait as there are only 2-3 bartenders and come after dinner as the kitchen may not always be open and their menu is limited. They could definitely use some more staff to help with the volume and keep the kitchen open. I appreciate that the bartenders can make something unique for you if you give them some suggestions of what you like. Drinks are priced $16 for cocktails and $8 for beers. The Lychee vodka was delicious and they use lychees for garnish!

Yelp
One thing we love is a highly curated bar in the city off the beaten path! That's exactly what Kenwood Tavern is! One thing about me is that I love discovering new places especially places I would never normally venture to. One Friday Teddy and I did just that, try somewhere new and we ended up at KT. From the street it looks like a typical neighborhood bar but upon entry you are in for an experience your tastebuds and mind with thank you for! The gents who run the bar are fabulous! Extremely friendly and knowledgeable about their liquor. We sat down at the bar and upon opening the menu saw some many great options we wanted to try! The bar is currently trying out a food pop up which for the price and the portions is so worth it! The lasagna and tiramisu were simply amazing! We started off keeping it simple with the drinks. I got the desert rose ( tequila based) and Teddy the old fashioned. I am not a dark liquor girlie but the smell of that old fashioned was so captivating I had to try a little. It was amazing haha. The bar menu changes monthly and they have some really unique options like this Jamaican rum that Teddy got to try. My favorite drink of the night was the watermelon! It was so fresh, simple yet bold. The atmosphere is sexy and chill all at the same time! I love that they spin vinyl only and their taste in music is spot on! The night we went they also had live music which was really enjoyable too! They have a vinyl shop at the bottom of the bar which has a really unique selection as well! Overall 1000/10! They are open from 4-12pm 7 days a week so you can stop by anytime. This a great place for a first date, to bring friends or try solo.

Yelp
Definitely a hidden gem! Love this spot, it has a great selection of delicious drinks! I tried the Strawberry Pisco and the Lychee drink, which were both excellent! The vibes are immaculate, very much a speakeasy type feel. I would highly recommend!

Yelp
I loved my experience at Kenwood Tavern! The bar has a fantastic ambiance, and since we visited on a weekday, we were able to find seating easily. The menu features a wide variety of fun and seasonal drinks. I asked the bartender for a recommendation for something sweet and tart, and he suggested the Cherry Pie. It was one of the best drinks I've had in Baltimore--exactly what I was looking for! My friend ordered the Spooky Spritz (essentially an Aperol Spritz), and she really enjoyed it. I'll definitely be back to try more drinks!

Yelp
This is such a quality cocktail bar that keeps me coming back! I've been here a few times and every time I have the same great experience. The bartenders are kind and attentive and the drinks are strong and delicious. The bar is small but they spin records all night so the vibes are immaculate. This time I got the Cactus Cooler, the most refreshing tequila drink I've ever had, and the Guava Margarita, which was a perfect mix of guava and a Margarita and not too sweet at all. You'll pay $16 per cocktail but I have yet to have a bad cocktail here. My other go-to drink there is their lychee cocktail and if you want to try something very different, go for the umami.

Yelp
What a gem of a neighborhood cocktail bar! This moody yet relaxed bar is tucked away in a quiet part of Canton. There is outdoor seating, a long bar, and tables on two half levels. No matter the seat, you'll get some of the best cocktail creations you can find in Baltimore. I ordered off the menu on a couple of occasions and the bartender whipped up exactly what I had in mind without knowing that's what I had in mind each time. When I went the first time, service was fairly minimal. They also charged drinks from other patrons to my tab. They found a way to make up for the error and that was around the time when they had first opened. On another occasion, we had a similar experience of aloof service when we sat at a high top table rather than at the bar. I highly recommend this local bar if you're looking for excellent cocktails where the service maybe matches the mood.

Yelp
a really cute & casual bar in canton! my friend and I decided to go here after seeing it in an ig reel and the area w the disco fever sign was a lot smaller than expected, but the rest of the bar had plenty of seating (at least on a friday night)! I got the baklava cocktail, which tasted pretty light, but the mix of flavors didn't work too well imo. it was citrusy but foamy (from the egg white) and smelled really good like pistachio but didn't have any of that taste. it wasn't bad but a little confusing. my friend ordered the banana bread, which was incredibly strong and the rye whiskey overpowered any other taste. the banana piece on the top was actually really good, but I don't think we would order these drinks again. I do like the wide variety of cocktails they offer and the ambiance so I would def come back! the bartenders were also nice & patient which is a plus!

Yelp
Had an amazing time at Kenwood Tavern this past weekend! Fantastic atmosphere, a really cool dark retro vibe. The service was great! Molly and Matt were amazing and helpful with all our questions about the drinks and Baltimore in general. My wife had the Umami cocktail and in her words it was "the best drink I've ever had." Would highly recommend checking them out!

Yelp
Kenwood Tavern is Canton's newest retro cocktail bar and really brings a different vibe to the whole area! I've been here twice so far and both times I thoroughly enjoyed my drinks, my absolute favorite has been the strawberry pisco. It's perfectly tart and just the right amount of sweetness, I'm making it one of my headlining girly drinks for the summer lol. My friend got the watermelon mezcal and it was also delicious, bonus points because I don't usually love mezcal. I've also tried the Paloma and it's was a lil on the strong side lol I'll have to ask for more grapefruit juice next time. I'm giving them 4 stars because the place gets crazy packed and it makes it hard to order your drinks or pay your bill. I can tell they could use a few more hands on deck behind the bar, but it's nice seeing a new place popping so soon. The food is also on the average side, the crab pie was extremely salty and their hot dogs are very basic. The ambiance is topped off with the moody lighting at night and chill tunes from the record player. Overall it's a great nightcap spot with outdoor seating!

Yelp
We went to Kenwood for the first time tonight and LOVED it! The cocktails were some of the best we have had in the city- it's as good as places like Dutch Courage. And the vibe is fun. Great music coming from jazz records and the decor is library meets disco (in a cool way). We will become regulars for sure.
