Kero

"The name, which pays homage to Inca culture, sets the scene for cooking with a distinct fusion influence, combining Peruvian-inspired dishes with Galician ingredients. Make sure you cast your eye over its tasting menus!" - Michelin Inspector

We were very impressed coming into Kero ... With a very casual setting, the food was outstanding! The various fish dishes, like ceviches and tiraditos were delish... The staff was very attentive. Don't miss it while visiting Vigo, Galicia

The meal was outstanding. We tried both ceviches and tiraditos, and they were perfect. All dishes were excellent, and the quality of the products super fresh. The Pisco Sour was both perfect and delicious. This restaurant is located in the heart of Vigo. Good choice for a real Peruvian food.

We were lucky enough to be there on a quiet lunch service where we could chat with the waiter, chef and owner about their food and influences. We got to try some test dishes that are soon to be on the menu (and will delight future diners). It was a truely wonderful experience filled with so much joy and flavour. Cannot recommend enough.

Excellent to repeat even in a week. Surprisingly good and different even when we came back just a week later. The Chef offered us different dishes and amazing deserts. We love it!

This is our second time dining at Kero and it’s been just as magical and surprising as the first! We went with the tasting menu both times, it’s been 10 days since we last came, we expected the same exquisite lunch, but instead we were pleasantly surprised to be treated to many different dishes, all with intense and distinct flavours. It was a fantastic meal of innovative and exciting flavour combinations- each dish in a class of its own. The service is friendly and attentive, it’s a guaranteed wonderful experience. If you’re looking for fun twists on Peruvian cuisine with Galician ingredients, masterfully prepared by warm, welcoming hosts, Kero is highly, highly recommended. Easily the best restaurant in Vigo.

Food was nice. It was very kind they gave me another dish when I didn’t like one in the menu. That is surpassing expectations. We usually take the tasting menu if it is a chefs choice menu, expecting more exclusive ingredients. Here we got disappointed. The price of the menu is high for Spanish standards. If we would have chosen separate dishes, we would probably have spend half and would have left happy. Now it was too steep for what we got. Appetizers were good, pisco sour had little pisco in it (I am very sensitive to alcohol and didn’t feel it, but felt the zip of sherry immediately), ceviche was ok, but the fish could be more fresh or more interesting. The alternative dish had partridge which was cooked to perfection and made me happy, but the reduction sauce was very salty and tasted of flavor enhancer (maggi). So do recommend but not the menu.
