Highly recommend KēSa House , great design, great location, and everything you need for a short or medium stay in Singapore. Just bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper! Stayed 3 nights and overall had a really good experience. I booked directly from their website (rate was better than agoda at that time) and even got upgraded to a studio, which was such a good surprise! The studio is extremely well equipped, with a washing machine, large fridge, microwave, a proper kitchenette with pots and pans, and even glasses for both coffee and wine. Bed is super comfortable, the sofa was big and cozy, and I really appreciated the natural light from the large windows (although they don’t open). Check-in and check-out were super efficient, the staff were friendly and everything was handled in just a few minutes. The location is excellent, right next to a bus stop and in a nice, slightly upscale neighborhood with plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. The common kitchen was another highlight: spacious, spotless, and very well equipped, with free snacks, tea, instant coffee, and self-serve water fountains to refill the two large bottles in the room. Super convenient and thoughtful touch. A few downsides: - As many others mentioned, it’s not very soundproof. I could hear music from a nearby bar or restaurant during the afternoon and evening. Not too loud, but definitely noticeable until around 11 pm. - Also, the studio didn’t have a proper work setup, just a small wall shelf (about 45 cm deep) and a plastic stool, which isn’t ideal if you need to use a laptop for long periods. A comfortable chair and slightly bigger desk would make a big difference. - Lastly, slippers in the room would be a nice addition

Fantastic hotel, 10/10 on all fronts. Would stay again! Very convenient location close to Maxwell food centre, and a few different train stations on different lines (all in walking distance). The room and hotel was clean and the shared spaces like the laundrette and kitchen with basic amenities were great. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The neighbourhood felt safe and wasn’t too noisy as I expected from reading other reviews. 10/10.

This hotel is very niche. It provides a clean and comfortable room, lovely staff and a fantastic location. It is however a little quirky as well. Example, you need to ask for hand towels and soap for the sink. We did also experience volume issues from inconsiderate neighbours for one night of our stay, all others were perfectly fine. I would recommend however, pay a little extra for a room with guaranteed windows. It does make a difference.

We really enjoyed our stay at Kesa House! Shoutout to Nicole for helping to coordinate a lovely suprise message for my partner’s birthday on a short notice, and also giving us an early check-in. The superior room is super cozy and clean. Really loved how quaint and pretty everything looked. The location was superb too - lots of trendy bars and restaurants outside and just a 5 min walk to the nearest mrt station. The staff were super helpful with all my questions too. All in all, very satisfied! Just be aware that there might be a bit of noise from the street below and from the MRT, if you’re a light sleeper - but this didn’t affect me that much

the front desk/receptionists were so sweet and welcoming! i didn't manage to catch their names, but it really pleasantly surprised us when they upgraded our room to a premier one for free :) it made our experience even better! the room was spacious and we had a private mini yard with a table and chairs to enjoy the sun. room was well lit with sunlight and it felt like we were travelling overseas even though it was just a staycay 🥹 the pantry/kitchen is very thoughtful, enjoyed the free flow sparkling/still water on tap. admittedly, as the hotel is on a lively street with bars and late night restaurants, there's bound to be loud music and sound of people during the weekends, but i didn't mind as the place was so convenient and there's a lot of good food and cafes nearby.

A fantastic location to explore Singapore. Less than 5 min walk to tube and China town on doorstep, offering best hawker food market. Rooms and bathroom are small but well designed. If you are sensitive to noise this might not be the hotel for you as it’s right in the heart and music from bars nearby and early morning refuse collection do wake you. Hallways are also noisy but must say room to room noise is very minimal. We are happy with general noise so this didn’t bother us. Communal kitchen was an added bonus.

Booked far in advance for a standard room at $125USD (including all fees and taxes) per night. Easy $35USD (without tip), 25 minute taxi ride to the hotel from the international airport. Super friendly staff who surprised us with a nice upgrade to a room with windows (not included in our standard rate). The place is located in a great location right in the middle of Chinatown and near Maxwell hawker center and walking distance to two different metro stops. Unfortunately, it is on a busy road and right beside an outdoor bar that stays open and loud until at least midnight so DEFINITELY BRING EAR PLUGS. No restaurant here but they do have a nice community kitchen with FREE tea/coffee/cookies/ filtered water. The whole place seems very new and modern and clean. Rooms are small but what we expect in a big city and booking a cheap rate. There was a big step up /down into the bathroom and they don't provide hand soap at the sink, a wash rag, or a hand towel (I confirmed with our friend staying in another room that this was the same in their room too). So you end up having to use the small container of shower soap gel and your bath towel for everything, which is a little different (but perhaps normal in Singapore IDK). Staff are very friendly and helpful with tips and ideas for eating. Overall, we had a great stay and enjoyed our time here. For their reasonable rates, it is hard to beat the location and cleanliness of this place in the big city, but just be prepared for the street/ bar noise.

We stayed a week in KeSa House and really enjoyed our stay! Both our little room on the third floor and the common relax-room combined with the common kitchen were functional, cozy and very clean. It was amazing to begin the morning with a cup of tea or coffee on the terrace in fresh air. The hotel’s location was great too - lots of cafés and restaurants in the same street and nearby. It is just a 5 minutes’ walk to the nearest metro station. Just two stops and you are in the center of Marina Bay. The staff were very attentive to our questions and extremely helpful. All in all, we are very thankful to all stuff and will stay here next time we are in Singapore!
