Bourdain ate: drunken chicken, fish tripe, and egg-custard clay-pot dish with youtiao (fried breadsticks, “like a quiche”). Dinner date: chef Gazza Cheng.

If you want the proper Hong Kong experience then this is it. It's clean and yet it's on the street. you can hear the roar and smell the food whilst waiting for the food you ordered. The food has one of the best wok hei you'll taste. One of the last ones in Hong Kong. You must go before they close down as you're not allowed to open new ones on the street anymore. Dying out as we speak

Good experience. Surrounding isn’t clean but still manageable. Price doesn’t match the place but portion is huge. Signature dishes are new to me and can taste plenty of wok hei

Noodles is delicious, dry and not oily at all. Salted pepper taufu is crispy as well. Curry chicken is HK local style and it’s not for my liking. Overall, above average.

Quality of food: 4/5 - good rice noodle soup with your choice of topings.  Barbecue pork and pork chop was warm and the noodles were springy with a light but refreshing soup Cleanliness: 2/5 - seating is outside on the sidewalk which is part of the experience of dining here Service: 5/5 - great service food came quick. The server was very kind. Value for money: 5/5 - very reasonable prices for what you receive. Recommendation:  4/5 - worth a try if you are in the area.  Before 5:30pm they serve breakfast food and do not have the main dishes.  I would recommend coming for dinner after 530pm to have the full experience.

Excellent food, fast service and good atmosphere. The food is cooked in two woks literally on the street in a well organized makeshift kitchen, the sauce and spices in between the two chefs on the woks. The waitress didn't fancy what we had decided on and strongly 'suggested' we order some other dishes 😆 Her 'suggestions' were excellent, some type of potato dish and a cashew greens dish, would happily eat regularly. We noticed nearby tables also had the same dishes so were grateful. Would visit again.

We came here for the experience of dai pai ding because these are becoming more rare. According to my FIL, these are disappearing because they can't renew or pass on the license to family members. The current license will expire as it is. I am happy we got to try this one. We sat outside, they begin set up around 430 to 5pm. There is no English menu so you may need a translator app or someone who can read Chinese.

Good food by the street. Rare Hong Kong scene now. Most of the servers can't speak English I think only one of them can speak English which is the owner's son. There is an uncle with curly hair that is really nice. He served hubs and I even when he can't understand us. There is another who is just grumpy, speaks rudely and throws or harshly put things on table. But heck, good food not to be missed. Definitely a must go to place. Literally the "dai pai tong".
