Fantastic new restaurant! Ordered the Beet Bruschetta and Pesto Tortellini for take out. Both were delicious! Staff was incredibly friendly, restaurant was very cozy and relaxing. They have several vegetarian options. To top it off, they have a dog-friendly patio!!! ❤️🐕‍🦺

We had the bread for the table, and it was probably my favorite part. The dipping oil was so rich and Herby and the bread was so fluffy on the inside and crusty on the outside. Loved the rosemary herb crust as well. Theo was so great, and treated us with great service! For lunch we had the Rocket sandwich and Margherita pizza. The pizza was amazing, the crust was so good and the cheese and roasted tomatoes were so fresh! One of the best pizzas I've ever had, and the size was perfect for one or two to share. My son has the Rocket Sandwich and he absolutely loved it! I loved the simplified menu, and cozy Italian vibe of this place! Highly recommend this place 10/10 for a nice Italian lunch or dinner right here in Eden Prairie.

Absolutely fantastic Italian food. Food quality and cooking is on par with real osterias in Italy and undoubtedly significantly better than Ciao Bella in Edina. It is twice the distance from our home than our usual Italian place but we are planning to go here more often as it is that good. We enjoyed the live music (Saturday). The building itself and the furniture are pretty lack luster to be honest but the food more than makes up for it. Please stay "chef-driven" and never change to "profit-driven" like Ciao Bella did in Edina. The focaccia bread is to die for. The tomato sauce tastes so fresh with a balanced acidity - just like how we remember from Italy. Great job, Kevin, this place is an absolute gem.

Great calamari, lightly breaded and nice aoli. Great salads and main dish (patachio brittle is amazing!) Great pastas! We have tried so many dishes and they are all so fresh. I just can't say enough how much you must try to be impressed, or surprised! 15 seat bar, DATE night Thursdays! Quiet patio, Great food and chef owned. Plz keep surprising me as you change menus!

Tried out the new Kevin’s Italian Bistro. I chose the Mushroom Ravioli. Was going to save half for lunch the next day but I couldn’t stop eating. Every bite was delicious. Paired it with a Peroni and we had the Tiramisu Cheesecake for dessert, wanted to lick the plate. Matt was attentive, pleasant and knowledgeable about the menu. The new warm colors and low lighting, made for a very cozy visit. In today’s times it’s hard to find a restaurant that is not a chain, where everything comes in a bag. Nice to see the owner back in the kitchen creating my meal for me

We went here and realized it had changed to Kevin's. We are glad we tried it. Great Italian food. The drinks were unique, the artichoke dip was amazing and the pasta dishes are excellent. We wouldn't return for a happy hour or quick drink but a fun place to have a romantic dinner out.

Food was absolutely excellent, deserves more attention and that will likely help the service. As the servers themselves were great but they were a bit understaffed.

Love the new atmosphere here... cozy and casual, but a little bit of an upscale feel. The food was amazing. I shared appetizers with friends - artichoke dip was my favorite, but my friend couldn't stop talking about the calamari. For the main course, I had the mushroom ravioli. Yum! But I have to say my favorite was the tiramisu cheesecake. It was almost too pretty to eat, but I'm glad I did. It was delicious! Can't wait to go back again and try the chicken marsala.

Yelp
Kevin's Italian bistro was an exquisite experience, who would have known someone with a name like Kevin could dish up authentic Italian food as if his name were Linguini! The focaccia bread was liberating and luxuriant. We decided upon the Zuppa Tosacana- a soup which Olive Garden once held 1st place for in my opinion- but now does not. The Zuppa was souptacular and soupendous, a more hearty consistency than the more viscous counterpart served at the Garden of Olives. The pizza Salumi picanna was scrumptious, the texture of the crust was to my liking. My pregnant wife ravenously devoured the cacio e pepe (she also ate most of the Zuppa, I lament that I only tatsted the smallest part of it). Our waitress Mikayla was sublime, and promptly got our orders in with food brought out in proper timing. We finished with dessert (we don't normally get dessert because we live in an apartment and don't have a lot of dinero, but my good Christian mentor provided my wife and I with funds out of the goodness of his heart to bless us with a nice meal tonight) so we splurged and decided upon the tirimasu cheesecake, which we took to go. Overall, our experience was magical, and I can fully recommend the enterprise of Signore Kevin and his fine establishment

Yelp
Parking: parking lot, plenty of spaces Ambiance: their outdoor patio has comfortable chairs and high tops, a good amount of shade, and cute patio lights Service: you could tell they were busy that day because things came out slowly but the server was polite and apologetic Food: the focaccia was delicious! The pasta alla Rosa was just okay. The bucatini was al dente but the sauce did not have enough cream/umami richness. It was quite on the watery side and didn't coat the noodles well

Yelp
The artichoke dip was wonderful. A large serving and plenty of toast. I feltl it was a little spendy compared to the prices when it was Brazin.

Yelp
My husband and I made a reservation for the Thursday "date night " special, which was listed as $60 for two salads, an appetizer or dessert, two pasta dishes, and a bottle of wine. We were seated quickly at 6pm. The food was good! We opted for the beet bruschetta appetizer in lieu of dessert. I thought the sweetness of the honey ricotta played well against the earthiness of the beats. And the ciabatta bread was chewy and flavorful. The wedge Caesar was good, I loved the homemade croutons. A little heavy on the dressing, but you could tell it was homemade and had great flavor from the anchovy- a solid Caesar dressing. My husband got the seafood pasta, and I got the spaghetti and meatballs. He loved his, and I loved the bold flavor of the house made red pasta sauce. The meatballs were big and well seasoned. My only critique, and perhaps this is unfair, but the pasta was clearly not homemade and I wished it was. The only hiccup is that the date night was advertised as coming with a bottle of wine, and we were charged $20 for the bottle we got. It was explained to me that they had said in the beginning that the wine was "a $20 mystery bottle" meaning we couldn't choose it. I interpreted this to me that the free bottle of wine that was advertised as part of the date night was valued at $20. I explained this felt like a little bit of a trick and the charge was removed from our bill without any fuss. That was much appreciated. Because of how that was handled, we will definitely return! Overall, it was a pleasant evening, and I enjoyed myself. Stand out was the bruschetta for sure. Server was friendly and cheerful and didn't rush us.

Yelp
This is a hidden treasure! The spinach and artichoke dip was amazing. We loved the pizza, especially the nice doughy crust. Also tried the spicy sausage orecchiette. So good! And to top it off, the citrus olive oil cake was decadent! We will definitely be back.

Yelp
excellent Italian style cuisine the Tuscan style soup is a stand out. My Italian friend had a dish with gnocchi and he gave it two thumbs up. He comes from a restaurant family so that's really saying something nice responsive staff and excellent ambience especially the outdoor patio area and the special event room. The Chef Owner is a jovial fellow and it shows in the quality of his cuisine. Highly recommended.

Yelp
It was a nice night to dine al fresco at this new Italian restaurant, but we weren't prepared for the slow service we experienced, as we've been to this restaurant before as a different concept, but same ownership. We sat for 15 min before a waitress approached us. A simple "be right with you" would have told us she knew we were there. Then 10 min later, she brought our water telling us it was very busy inside. Fortunately, the food was worth the wait! However, smaller portions but then we forgot we were at a bistro. I recommend the neopolitan pizza & the beet bruschetta. We will come back again & I'm hoping my 4 stars will improve to 5.

Yelp
OMG we ordered a pizza. It was fantastic. Our server was wonderful and fast. The restaurant was so comfortable. We'll definitely go back.

Yelp
Kevin's might be a rather surprising name for an Italian restaurant, but it certainly steps up with a varied menu and a fun relaxed atmosphere. The table bread is wonderful and whether you're sharing appetizers or choosing one of the many excellent entrées, you'll enjoy your meal and the great service. We enjoyed the Beet Bruschetta as well as the Sweet Potato Gnocchi. Splurge and have dessert. The dark chocolate spumoni Panna cotta is delectable. A nice addition to Minnetonka restaurants.

Yelp

Yelp
We came here hoping for a new Mama D's alternative. They used to be on the other side of the parking lot. This is nothing like that. We went for the patio since it was a nice night. It feels like stuff still isn't quite put away. The service was ponderous. I was surprised that there were not more red sauce options. The food was good but not stellar. The menu is all ala carte.

Yelp
I was there a few days ago. My friends and I tried almost all the appetizers: meatballs- tender with great sauce, beets on Cristini so delicious, artichoke dip- creamy and tummy! Table bread- excellent flavor and texture, and calamari a very light batter and good basil aioli ( my friend Rhonda took most of it! ) I had the mushroom ravioli ..the presentation was beyond and the sauce was beyond as well! Now for dessert, lemon lavender cake ( I did not want to share but I promised I would) so refreshing with the perfect amount of lavender, Panna cotta- so rich and the cherries! And the turamisu so good! The coffee flavor with mascarpone. I will be back to try more! Love this place.
