"The Keys is a place for seafood , and the Conch House is no exception. The food is simple here but exceedingly fresh, and serves as a nice departure from the usual abundance of fritters, fish, and fries found throughout the Keys. The emphasis is on healthy cooking, with the freshest possible fish prepared blackened or grilled with seasonal vegetables (or fries if you must). The must-try is huge portion of conch, and lobster ceviche." - Jennifer M. Wood, Terry Ward

Wow! A talented chef and unique menu. We ordered 3 different dinners so we could share...Island Tropical Seafood (curry), House Style Conch, and Crab Stuffed Mahi. Shared a slice of key lime pie. Cannot overstate how wonderful this food was. Even the veggies, potatoes, and plantains were so very good. Great first experience in Key Largo. Our waitress was very helpful with questions about the area.

A Key Largo gem! This charming establishment is tucked up in within the beautiful hardwood hammock and sub-tropical flora that make the Florida Keys so unique. It has been years, and we were SO GLAD to finally get back. It was just as we remembered. The porch seating especially is so lovely! The staff this evening were very professional and engaging, and really ensured we had a nice visit. Excellent drink and beer selection, and a really refreshing and citrusy white wine sangria - a favorite of ours. The conch fritters are a must here - and are legendary. Always looking for something unique, went with the Island Tropical Seafood. Now that is a Keys-Caribbean dish. Amazing flavors!! I would get this every time now. Thank you for that deliciousness! We had a very relaxing, enjoyable visit and look forward to getting back soon.

Google
Great breakfast options here! We were so fortunate to find this place. Lovely outdoor setting. Service was attentive, efficient, and helpful. Breakfast items cover the standards to unique takes on the old familiar to seafood inspired recipes you'd expect in the Keys.

Google
We liked the Conch House so much, we came back for breakfast two days in a row on our weekend in Key Largo! Our favorite dishes were the macadamia key lime pancakes, Cajun omelette, lobster Benedict, crab cake Benedict, key lime pie, and speciality coffees. The outside seating was lovely!

Angel Perpignand

Google
We had dinner here & sat outside. It was a little hot but they did have fans blowing. Dress accordingly! We chose this place because we are considering them to cater our wedding. The service was friendly & the food was absolutely amazing 😋 we will be contacting them !

Wow... just wow!!! Talk about a hidden gem! I've lived here for 2.5 years, I've heard about this place but finally came. AND I'LL BE BACK!!!!! EVERYTHING WAS GREAT!!! Started with the bacon wrapped jalapeños but ate them before I took a picture... then the shrimp & grits was AMAZING (and I'm from the south!), my husband had the burger and loved it, the fries were perfect, the key lime mimosa, and sangria (red & white) were fantastic (I tried them all for this review... you're welcome 😁). Then the dessert... the blueberry pecan crunch was SO good! Going to try the Key Lime Coconut cake next time. HIGHLY recommend!!!!!! It is tucked away so don't give up trying to find it, definitely slow down as your getting close and turn right as soon as you send the flags.

Google
My husband and I had dinner here on our trip down in the Florida keys and had a great time! The outside was very nicely decorated, atmosphere was great and had Key West vibes! The service was amazing, I loved the recommendations and the server was very nice. We got the conch soup, calamari, Mahi Mahi and the shrimp jambalaya which were all fresh, tasted great and well cooked. Then of course we split a slice of key lime pie which was phenomenal! I definitely recommend this place! The only downside was the noise from the road but we knew where we were sitting and could have gone inside if it were bad.

Google
Great place...We had fried conch 😋😋 for appetizer. For dinner I had hog fish with coconut/ macadamia nut which was also excellent. And my daughter had Mahi stuffed with crab which was good as well.

Danielle T.

Yelp
Great food! Try the lobster bisque -- its a MUST have here!!! Loved sitting outside and enjoying the weather. Service is super sweet, very amicable. Ambiance is very coastal and calm, relaxing.

Michael O.

Yelp
The Key Largo Conch House is a very nice place to have dinner. There is limited seating inside for maybe about 25 folks and the outside is on a covered porch with about 6 tables. The food was very good as I had the Gator & Shrimp Jambalaya & my wife had Mahi, avocado w/pico. The food was presented nicely and tasted very good. The food was ordered and to the table in about 10 minutes and had very good temperature. We had the white Sangria to go along with the meal and was very refreshing. Service was quick and friendly. I would probably rate this as a 4.5 due to the food and service being spot on!

Greg F.

Yelp
This is a pretty good hidden spot. Everything my party of 4 ordered was delicious and super fresh. The portions are pretty big too. I would definitely reccomend the sampler appetizer. The outside porch was perfect for lunch, the sun was blocked the whole time. Service was just ok.

Gary L.

Yelp
The conch and coconut shrimp was wonderful. Parking was plentiful. Staff fast and polite.

Cortney W.

Yelp
Really neat place to eat. Beachy ambiance, friendly staff, and food was good. I'd eat here again.

Shawn J.

Yelp
The cafe con leche...amazing!!! Breakfast, lunch and dinner was amazing. 10/10 recommend.

Isabella K.

Yelp
Charming little place in Key Largo. Good service, good food, no frills. They have a cute outside area but wasn't preferred inside with AC. They have solid breakfast items such as key lime pancakes. I had a croissant breakfast sandwich with fruit and a coffee. Definitely can't go wrong here!

Amanda C.

Yelp
Came after a half day of kayaking. Free parking on premise Small indoor seating area, there were more tables outdoors. Got the conch salad and conch fritters for appetizers. The fritters tasted like a takoyaki and couldn't really taste the conch. The conch salad was like a ceviche salad. The macadamia coconut sandwich was very fresh, seasoned with some pineapples, orange marmalade and pickled veggies. Food was fresh and decently filling, nothing in particular to rave about though. Quick service with option to pay online. There are only two stalls for the bathroom. Overall cozy environment.

Val B.

Yelp
Very cute beachy place. We ordered a bunch of things, including the stuffed Mahi, conch fritters and seafood portofino. Everything was delicious!! Service was good too. 10/10 would recommend!!

Diana D.

Yelp
Hubby had surf n turf. Steak was horrible bland absolutely no seasoning. Cooked med rare that was a plus! Pineapple salsa was bland. Mashed potatoes were cold an the veggies were cold. The shrimp was extremely over blackened. Had to wipe off. I had fish n chips (Mahi). Not crunchy at all. Greasy. No seasoning in batter, fries were good. Def don't recommend. For the surf n turf at $48 DEFINITELY NOT worth it..Server was friendly... Overall poor food.. Ambiance was ok, restaurant located next to a busy highway

Lauren W.

Yelp
FIVE stars!!!! Don't sleep on this place! Lobster Bisque - Lovely Caribbean flavors and nice chunks of lobster (and possibly fake lobster?). Not sure what award it won but it definitely was tops! House Style Conch - Tender and perfectly prepared! I think hubby would had preferred the coconut and macadamia preparation on the other fish offerings, but I thought the Italian flavors complemented it well. I think complaints I read from other reviewers haven't had conch before since it's always got a chew but in the best way. Island Tropical Seafood - One of the best seafood dishes we've had! It reminded us of the curry from Mama's Fish House but with local Florida seafood. The mild had a nice spice tempered by the sweetness of the dish. The hog fish reminded me of Basa or catfish and was fun to try. The scallops and large prawns were fresh and tasty. Service was superb although we went around 4:30 so food came out fast. We sat outside and got eaten by mosquitoes, so I'd recommend indoor dining unless you aren't tasty.

Theresa S.

Yelp
This was a last minute find for dinner in the Keys. This isn't the fanciest spot in town but they serve some top tier food. The inside is ok but the front porch and outdoor seating are pretty nice. We were greeted and seated quickly, and our server was very nice. The seafood Portofino was very delicious and had lots of scallops and shrimp. The Shrimp tacos were also good, and we opted for shrimp to be blackened. A good spot to grab some dinner.

William J.

Yelp
I picked this restaurant to celebrate my birthday dinner, because they have surf and turf on the menu. I was not disappointed with the filet mignon and lobster, but I wish they had put the mushrooms on the side, instead of on top. My wife had the shrimp and grits, and said they were the best ever. They don't have the best selection of beer, but It was acceptable. The staff was friendly and the service was good. One complaint I do have, is about the parking. It was a rainy night and the parking is in the rear and entrance is in the front. Had to walk all the way around in the rain. I'm sure we'll be going back, just because the food is so good.

Doug B.

Yelp
Wow, what a great meal. Beach theme decor and great service. Loved it. I had a double starter as a meal with the Coconut Shrimp and Strawberry Spinach Salad. Both were excellent. The shrimp were enormous and I loved the flavor. Really, really good. The salad, though, was over the top amazing. The menu says "award winning," and that set the tone. I like a little fruit on a salad and the strawberries and blueberries were tasty. Lots of flavor. Also enjoyed the pecans. Great salad. I also tried the lions fish. Two people at the table ordered it and raved about it. Anything with avocado has to have a bonus star. It also comes in a taco. I washed it all down with a Key Lime Pie. So good. Definitely a great sport for any Key Largo vacationer. If you are looking for lionfish, check them out.

Jose R.

Yelp
Great breakfast spot. Really nice coffee selection. Known for their crab Benedict. Usually wait times are long but today we were seated right away. Typically we are greeted with smiles and great service as well but today our waitress was just ok. Kid and dog friendly. Outside seating is covered which is good. Right need to road and can be a little noisy but it's not too bad. This place feels like you are eating at someone's home; quaint and cozy Florida charm. Not the cheapest place for breakfast but the quantity and quality is good.

Mia W.

Yelp
The Conch House had great reviews and it looked super cute from the pictures so we chose this spot for dinner. The service was friendly and quick. My favorite was the gator bites, very tasty and good texture! The conch salad was just okay, wouldn't order it again. My husband loved the conch fritters. Great dinner!

Danny L.

Yelp
Conch House often pops up toward the top in Googling "seafood near me", so naturally we paid a visit. Seating and parking were easy. We got a table and placed our orders soon after. I got their Conch Chowder and Mahi & Chips. The chowder was very flavorful - a bit more salty than I prefer, but zesty nonetheless. It's got a very tomato-ey flavor and is a great palate opener. Mahi & chips were great - both were the right amount of crispiness, and the mahi inside was so flakey and juicy. I also really like the portion sizes for the prices. Overall, a solid meal. Medium pricing, good food. Worth a visit while you're in the Keys. PROS: - easy to find parking and seating - nice tropical ambiance - menu is sizable, good seafood options - service is timely and polite - food is cooked really well, very flavorful CONS: - none too significant to point out

Yelp
Amazing breakfast! Amazing staff ! Setting is really nice inside and outside ! Kylie was our waitress and she was awesome ! Super friendly and prompt ! Highly recommend this place!

Margarita N.

Yelp
The food was delicious and they were so attentive. They overheard it was my birthday and they gave me a complementary birthday cake and wished me happy birthday. Definitely coming back here!

Lauryn N.

Yelp
The conch house has amazing lobster bisque and homemade chips! The pick two special gives you the bang for your buck and the club wrap was super fresh. We sat outside on the patio and there were lots of decorative plants, perfect place to enjoy the afternoon! Our waitress was fast and friendly as well. Great place to stop for lunch!

Nina U.

Yelp
Our first stop when we visit the Keys. ITS A MUST. The best lobster and conch ceviche EVERRR! We always start with either the conch sampler, which comes with coconut shrimp, conch fritters, cracked conch, bacon wrapped jalapeños, and lobster and conch ceviche. The servings are small, so, depending on where you're headed next this is perfect. Today we started with just the conch and lobster ceviche. I hadn't had it in awhile and had to satisfy taste buds! This option is always consistent and tasty. In addition to the lobster and conch ceviche we also had a key lime flavored mimosa which was also good! The atmosphere is shaded. You have the option either sit outside to enjoy the weather or inside where it is air conditioned. The servers are nice as well!

Omar V.

Yelp
One of the best restaurants in the Keys if you in the area must stop in !" Love the lobster Benny and the mimosas !"

Lauren G.

Yelp
Amazing food - fish was fresh and perfectly prepared. Lots of local specialities - fried gator was awesome. Plaintains incredible. Key lime pie is a must try.

Tara K.

Yelp
Sangria was delicious! Conch fritters-personally not a fan...just tasted like curry with very little conch. I had the snapper tacos-again-not a fan. Tasted fishy to me, chips were just chips. Hubby had the stuffed Mahi-he enjoyed his meal, but said my tacos were better lol. Staff was super friendly and the restaurant is very cute.

Laura V.

Yelp
Delicious, low key and friendly atmosphere. The matecumbe style local catch was a winner.

Jenny Z.

Yelp
The place is cute and there is plenty of parking. However, the food and service were very disappointing. We try to order fresh orange juice on the menu and was told it is not freshly squeezed on site and it's bottled. Because we are in FL, it is fresh... We did enjoy the gator bites. It was our first time trying gator and we thought it was well seasoned. The conch sampler was okay. Bacon wrapped jalapeños had a weird taste. We saw a lot of people recommended the lobster bisque but we had a different experience. The bisque was very oily, thick and lumpy that we did not want to try it. Despite we left it as it was, the server didn't seem to care we left it untouched.

Jennifer N.

Yelp
Great service and delicious food. Seafood tastes very fresh. We love sitting on the porch. We've also gone for breakfast, but I prefer their dinner options.

Chad C.

Yelp
If you want amazing food, great service, and the best key lime pie I've ever had THIS IS THE PLACE! Our server Amy made recommendations and each of them were spot on! Conch fritters, the jambalaya, the island tropical seafood and the key lime pie are the best dishes we've had on our trip to Florida and some of the best food I've had anywhere.

Bob T.

Yelp
Based on Yelp reviews, we were passing through Key Largo and stopped here for a snack. All I can say is, "thanks again, yelp!" All we had was their Lobster & Conch Ceviche, and that was plenty for us. It had lots of good-sized seafood chunks and tasted delicious. We will make a point of stopping back the next time we're in the area and, hopefully, with a larger appetite so we can enjoy more of their food.

Jose R.

Yelp
Enjoyed the outdoor seating and great brunch selection. We have been here many times and the service is always excellent.

Tash M.

Yelp
The Conch House is an absolute favorite when it comes to dining in Key Largo, especially for breakfast! I can't get enough of their cracked conch eggs Benedict--it's a perfect blend of rich, savory flavors with a unique island twist. The conch is always tender and flavorful, and the hollandaise sauce is perfection. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the staff makes you feel right at home. Whether you're a local or just visiting, The Conch House is a must-try for a delicious and memorable meal!

Steve H.

Yelp
We had breakfast here while on vacation. Our group ordered the Key Lime pancakes, Raisin Pecan French Toast, Conch House Omelet, and the Portobello Benedict. I ordered a Cafe con Leche to drink and it is probably the best I've had. I would go there just for the drink, but I digress. The food - everything was wonderful....except the Key Lime Pancakes. They are not sweet at all. They were not bad, but they were not good. I will go back and try something else, because everything else was so good. The service was great as well.

Leslie N.

Yelp
Return to the Conch House after many months and found the food was not as it used to be. My breakfast sandwich was very plain it had no garnish, fruit or potatoes was extra. It looked like some thing I had bought at McDonald's but for much more money. Services is very attentive, I also skipped on having a breakfast cocktail because I thought it was absurd to pay $13 for a glass of white wine with some chunks of mango in it. They were calling it sangria. Don't know if I'll return but definitely the food I did not find to be up to par. My husband had the shrimp and grits, and thought it was the best he's ever had. Maybe I just ordered the wrong thing.

Jeff Y.

Yelp
Let me start with the service and view alone was alone able to give 5 stars as long as the food wasn't terrible. The food was great I had the wings and chicken sandwich and wife had some fish and chips. Both were great! The area for the kids to run around was the best!

Andrea A.

Yelp
Food was amazing and the ambiance was great for my husband and I who were visiting for our anniversary weekend.

Susan B.

Yelp
We were here 12 years ago and we're excited to return to Key Largo and to the Conch House. We just had dessert this time but WOW...the key lime coconut cake is WONDERFUL! You have to try it. Trust me. We'll be back for breakfast soon to try the key lime macadamia pancakes. Yum.

Linda A.

Yelp
What a beautiful cottage in the little cozy garden they have set up. I had the appetizer sampler with coconut shrimp conch fritters chicken and stuffed jalapeño poppers with conch chopped mixture. It was fun tasting all the different choices. We sat out on the porch. Which was quiet cool breeze and cozy. Service was quick and efficient. Oh forgot dessert. Amazing ice cream with a fruit mixture cake and whipped cream. Just order it. Best I have had in yearTotal enjoyment!

Faith M.

Yelp
Ambiane is cozy, can sit inside or out, outside is recommended, ordered the shrimp grits, slightly salty for my tastebud but my companion devoured it. My scrambled eggs, bacon, potato & pancake was pretty good. Service was adequate!

David F.

Yelp
Headed home and want to have one last tropical island, down-home dining experience? Stop at the Key Largo Conch House for that final taste of the Keys. Yes they have conch salad. The conch is from elsewhere in the Caribbean. Conch harvesting is banned in the Keys even though I have seen a lot of them while snorkeling near Bahia Honda. The conch salad is served with tortilla chips which I wish were plantain chips. Still hits the spot with nice chew and tang. Add a little hot sauce. The Cajun Shrimp and Grits and Crab Cake Benedict are also delicious. Try the salt scrub with lemon oil in the restroom. Your salty crust hands will be renewed.

Ben S.

Yelp
Spent a night in Key Largo and looking for a place for dinner with some local flair. This if the bill perfectly. We started with the conch fritters which had curry spice. Neither of us really care for curry so having the dipping sauce was key. They weren't bad but we're looking forward to trying a more traditional offering. My wife got then coconut macadamia crusted mahi-mahi which was very good but the carrots were undercooked. I got the Kingston Chicken which was very good but could have been a little spicier.

Michael D.

Yelp
Conch soup was excellent. Conch dinner was tender for the first few bites, the rest was like shoe leather. I told the server, all she could mumble is they needed to tenderize the conch more (communicated to me with a wrist movement- she didn't speak much English). No other apologies offered to me. I didn't want to wait another 20 minutes for a replacement meal. Overall a good experience - win some and lose some. I will not return.

Ashley S.

Yelp
Solid breakfast spot. We decided to come here as our last stop before heading home, based on a recommendation form one of the dive masters we dived with. This place is definitely a solid breakfast spot and apparently was on food network and travel channel's man vs food. We started with key lime mimosas and coffee. We ordered the key lime macadamia pancakes and the cracked conch eggs Benedict. Everything was really good. I recommend waiting for an outdoor table, the inside is a little cramped and the outside eating area is more enjoyable with the nice fall Florida weather.

Jolene W.

Yelp
This quaint little restaurant is unfortunately in the medium on Highway 1 so very noisy to eat outside. The food was mediocre at best and over priced. Been in Key Largo for a month so trying out many new places this trip. Saw on the menu surf and turf and it looked great, not so much, very small portions of the fish, 2 shrimp and a 4 oz steak. The $50 price tag was a bit much but I do realize I'm in the Keys and things are pricey. Likely would not go back. The seafood was good, filet was not! Our server was great, efficient and attentive.

Jill H.

Yelp
Took a little day trip to Key Largo and decided this would be our lunch stop. So glad we did! Drinks and food were delicious! Service was also great and very friendly. The cutest little walk way to the restaurant. We sat outside on the porch. Great little spot. Highly recommend.

Anais C.

Yelp
The best meal I've had in the keys in a while! Everything was delicious and fresh! Kids loved their meal and the restaurant is also pet friendly!

Darla J.

Yelp
We stopped for a late breakfast and it was amazing. We sat out on their beautiful porch. The servers were very friendly and responsive.

Mark L.

Yelp
We ate dinner here out on the patio. Cute place. We started with the Conch Fritters, which were very good. Then, I had the Conch chowder. Flavor was good. I split the crab cake and steamed vegetables. Everything was very good. My wife had the fish tacos which she loved. Service was good and attentive.

Abigail C.

Yelp
Great lil place with perfect ambiance on their patio and a typical island vide inside! The service was pleasant, fast, and attentive- truly some of the best wait staff on Key Largo! They have a full coffee bar that can make you a great iced latte, the fried conch has a delicious breeding and the macadamia crusted panini was amazing with the marmalade on it. I'd definitely be back if I had more days in the keys:) oh, and the bathrooms are clean!

Elizabeth W.

Yelp
Came for dinner with my family and we would definitely come back. The food was delicious, highly recommend the captains platter, fish and chips and the crab stuffed mahi! Our server was very attentive and the atmosphere was quaint.
