Ann Arbor Korean Restaurant Miss Kim Changes No-Tip Policy - Eater Detroit

"Detroit City FC is partnering with the owners of Lost River on Detroit’s east side to open a tiki bar at Keyworth Stadium, Daily Detroit reports. The soccer team also plans to add additional bars around the stadium to meet fan demand and cut down on wait times." - Brenna Houck

The stadium is what you'd expect from a place dedicated during the FDR administration. Food trucks were fine, the restrooms were a bit aged, and the seating was basic. I was not a fan of the supporter section, though. I get it...mature language and all that, but is it really necessary? This stadium, at least during a DCFC game, is not a family-friendly atmosphere. You can hear them in every corner of the place.

Love coming here to watch DCFC play! Seating on wood bleachers (rather than stadium seats/chairs with backs). The food truck court during games has a great selection, and there is a lot of variety of alcoholic (and non-alcoholic) beverages to choose from as well.

Google
I very nice little stadium. I went to a DCFC game and had a great time. The seating is wood bleachers, so you may want to bring a pad to sit on to be more comfortable.

Great atmosphere and the perfect spot to catch Detroit City FC in action! The team had a solid run this season, and it was exciting to be part of the energy. Their merchandise is top-notch too—great quality at prices that won’t break the bank. A must-visit for any soccer fan!

They make a lot for what they have …. Food trucks are amazing, great energy and vibes… we had an awesome time and can’t wait to be back !

Google
Keyworth stadium has everything you could ever want for a soccer game - food trucks, local beers and liquor, exciting fan base with tons of enthusiasm and constant fight songs and smoke bombs to encourage our winning team to kick ass and take names!

Google
Decent views from any of the seating areas. Very disappointing that you cannot smoke or vape ANYWHERE. Not even where vehicles are parked. Also not allowed to leave property at halftime and get back in. Cozy stadium, but parking is also a MAJOR issue. Looking forward to the team moving to new location next year.

Google
Awesome stadium and team. They have different food trucks so don't worry about getting food beforehand. They only allow empty bottles into the stadium, but you can refill them at one of the water fill stations. FYI the left stands are rowdier than the right!

Yelp
If you're looking for a reasonably priced sporting event that you can enjoy with your family, I highly recommend attending the Detroit City Football Club games at Keyworth Stadium. The stadium opens 90 minutes before game time, and several food trucks and vendors were set up around the area with various food options, beverages of all kinds, games for the kids and of course fun merchandise to support the teams! The game was exciting to watch and the crowd showed up to support their team! Chanting, songs, drums and color cannons added to the excitement!

Yelp
What a great place, it was a great game we drove 140 miles just for the game as we had heard how good the ambiance was, we weren't disappointed, we sang, screamed cheered drank and ate everything a sports fun wants in a game. The people-the locals- are very friendly, they gave us all the history of the team, they seem very loyal, which is nice to see. We will definitely go back to see them, we will just go to an evening game as this was a scorching sunny day.

Yelp
FIrst time at a DCFC game and I am absolutely in love with Keyworth Stadium! LOVE how big and roomy it was, which allowed for there to be minimal areas of congestion with the big event crowd, but also how easily it was to get everywhere. LOVE the layout of the whole stadium too with shipping container stores/stands along the sides and the wooden bleachers!! Everything was delightful and what an absolute quality stadium to have DCFC play! Loved every second I was here and can't wait to come back soon!

Yelp
So much fun! I attended my first DCFC game a few weeks ago and was blown away. For being such a small stadium, the fanbase and overall experience is electric. I can't wait to go back for another game!

Yelp
Watched a live soccer game last night. The teams were Detroit City FC vs Columbus Ohio. Of course, the home team won! Had more fun watching the fans from the rowdy side chanting and cheering for their teams. Smoke bombs most of the time and flags everywhere. It's my first time in this stadium. Our sponsor took care of the tickets. It cost around $8 for general admission. I'm not sure how much for the gold members. The restrooms look old and need to be clean. There were food trucks, so I tried the El Guapo tacos, Faygo and Rip it energy drink. Park at your own risk at this neighborhood.

Yelp
The stadium is great! Lots of energy from everyone and field is tidy. Unfortunately, parking is very inconvenient. You will need to park a few blocks down and walk in. I love walking so not a big deal for me. I haven't spent much time in Hamtramck so I wasn't even aware they had a stadium like this. I had tickets to the suite which was amazing to be right behind the goal.

Yelp
This stadium is the home of Detroit City Football Club(DCFC). Me and my gf came for a game, we had our tickets paid for thanks to our sponsor. We went to a game between DCFC vs Colombus and the good guys won 1-0 on a last second goal! The food court next to the stadium is for food trucks and vendors and is a really cool and very open area. There's two seating areas one side is the "fan" side while the other is the "family" side. We were on the fan side of course but the family side is much calmer. The fans are the real fun they're extremely into the game and enthusiastic. Even too enthusastic sometimes I wondered if they were even following the game! The stadium itself is not the nicest and the bathrooms kindve stink but the fans definitely make up for it. It's a good place to see a good game of soccer in the city!

Yelp
Where the sweet boys of Rouge and Gold play. F*$k your club. Keyworth Stadium has been around since Jed's teen years. He played Football there and now Detroit City watches Futbol here. Jed turns 90 this September, so that should tell you how much heart this place has. The field has definitely seen better days, but the inexpensive Stroh's and liquor selection during games makes you kinda forget it and the boys kick ass, so no complaints, right? For $10, it's worth every penny! Head over to the East bleachers to chant your a$$ off and quickly become friends with other DCFC fans.

Yelp
Had a great time, tickets were only ten dollars, atmosphere was fun and lively, had food and beer from trucks and most importantly Detroit won! And the team was from Ohio! Worth coming back for sure, if there would be one complaint is that parking wasn't easy. Plenty of police keeping the place safe and everyone was nice. Excellent time!

Yelp
Detroit City, we love you so! Keyworth Stadium is home of the Detroit City Football Club, or DCFC. If you're not privy, DCFC is an amateur soccer club whose homebase is in Hamtown. I attended my first DCFC match earlier this year. Keyworth Stadium is a fitting home for such an incredible group of soccer players and their fans. It was recently renovated with the help of supporters, which I think is amazing. The stands are very sturdy, especially considering we don't sit down during the entire game. We give those stands quite the beating. Keyworth Stadium has various food/drink vendors and food trucks available during DCFC matches. They sell beer and Blake's "Cider Til I Die" in cans for only five bucks. Sure beats the $9 stuff at LCA or Comerica. Parking near the stadium will typically cost you, but the majority of fans park for free at the Fowling Warehouse nearby and march to the game through the neighborhood together. DCFC has such diverse fans and supporters! I'm so proud to be one of them and to see them play at Keyworth.

Yelp
What a great place to host DCFC! The stadium is the perfect size to hold a good size crowd while maintaining an intimate vibe. A good handful of beer, food, and merch vendors are set up around the field, with plenty of seating. Restrooms are under the west stands if you don't want to wait for a porta-potty. Parking at the stadium will run you $10 on match day, but we always park at the Fowling Warehouse and march over.

Yelp
Affordable, jank, and perennially lively. Smokestacks loom in the background, blending into the proud, well-maintained, and thoroughly un-charming roof lines of the colorful exclave of Hamtramck. Enjoy a $5 Stroh's tallboy while your home team sets off colorful smoke canisters, whose emissions eventually fade into the particulate-laden sky surrounding the nearby GM Assembly Plant, a major rail line, upon which newly manufactured cars are ferried Elsewhere, and the distant municipal incinerator. Best vibe of any sporting event I've ever been to.

Yelp
Boy have times changed since I played soccer here! The DCFC games are seriously wildly fun. I went with some fellow Elites and was not disappointed. There are a bunch of food trucks and tents (Srodek's and Royal Kabob are always a hit for me), as well as many many beer and Faygo tents. Parking is first come first serve on the outlying streets.
