At this vibrant Brooklyn gem, indulge in massive, flavor-packed Middle Eastern dishes in a welcoming atmosphere that's perfect for any gathering.
"On the ground floor of The Hoxton, K’Far does similar food as the sister restaurant Laser Wolf: Persian roasted lamb shank, fingerling potatoes with shipka peppers and pastries with Middle Eastern flavors. Their indoor space holds 18, and a sealed outdoor patio has space for 45 people. Weekend brunch starts at $65 per guest." - neha talreja, bryan kim, hannah albertine, will hartman
"This Israeli restaurant from the people behind Laser Wolf is big, bright, and loungey (and located in the lobby of the same hotel, The Hoxton). Grab a seat in the main dining room and eat breakfast sandwiches served on sesame-encrusted Jerusalem bagels under a canopy of plants, or hang out on a couch in the greenhouse-like area that gets plenty of light. Just be sure to make a reservation, and don’t forget to order a pistachio sticky bun." - bryan kim, carina finn koeppicus, will hartman, sonal shah
"Looking for something crowd-pleasing, pretty, and satisfying — that you can get into without a reservation? Head to K’Far. The Philadelphia restaurant opened in Williamsburg about a year ago. The menu has pistachio sticky buns, lemon cheesecake babka, and flattened bagel sandwiches to snack on, plus bigger items like shakshuka and latkes with fried eggs. There are 150 seats between the dining room and atrium, meaning it’s almost always possible to get a table at brunch." - Eater Staff
"K’Far is from the people behind Laser Wolf, and it’s at the same hotel (The Hoxton) in Williamsburg. But this Israeli restaurant is significantly more low-key than its rooftop counterpart. Located on the bottom floor of the hotel, the dining room is bright and leafy, and you can sit there with your laptop and eat some babka or an egg sandwich on a Jerusalem bagel. You can also hang out in the lobby and order food, in case you prefer to work from an armchair." - nikko duren, bryan kim, kenny yang, willa moore, sonal shah
"With its open floor plan and excessive foliage, K’Far is kind of like an upgraded WeWork. The Israeli restaurant spans the entire hotel lobby at the Hoxton in Williamsburg, with a coffee cart and bar on one side, and a dining room on the other. Start your day on the coffee side, which has a ton of comfy chairs and some outlets. It turns into quite the scene by 10am, but if you don't mind some chatter, it’s a fun place to hunker down with a Yemeni latte and breakfast sandwich. You won’t get any free beer when you’re done, but you should definitely hit the bar for a martini. " - neha talreja, nikko duren, carina finn koeppicus, sonal shah
