We went to kfc yesterday (June 10, 2025) at 43951 farewell hunt plaza, Ashburn, VA, and ordered 2 Tuesday specials 8 prices kfc chicken. She, the cashier changed me twice. I confronted the manager after see my charged twice on my card. And the manager checked the posi computer and confirmed (which was a lie) me that they did not charge me twice. By the way, she was very rude. Anyway when I came home and went to my online banking , I saw , instead of charging once for $36.02 charged my twice of $36.02. I herewith attached the receipt of the transaction at kfc. I know the eco6is shaky, but still I don't think we should be that dishonest for charging twice for the same itens.

Listen to the other reviews. I won’t say that I am disappointed or even surprised since the reviews told me what to expect but I thought there was a bit of a chance there was a change. I ordered through Ubereats and literally opened up the sandwich to see the sauce on the outside of the bun with the coldest piece of chicken I have ever tasted. I ordered a few other things just for varieties sake and wished I didn’t. The chicken and fries tasted very old, and the chicken wings were trashed before I could even take a pic. The only thing that was remotely pleasant and worth the money was the baja blast that came with the chicken combo. I can’t speak to the service so this review is strictly about the food.

I tried the new beyond Nuggets from KFC. They really taste like chicken if they wouldn't tell me I wouldn't realize it. I can only feel the different texture is a little harder than usual but the breading hides it very well.

Even when I attempted to contact the store via phone, the last person I spoke to abruptly disconnected the call without addressing my concerns, which I found to be quite discourteous. I believe effective communication is essential in providing quality customer service. I hope you take this feedback constructively to improve the overall experience for your customers.

This rating is based on the food alone and not an actual sit down meal. The Double Down is back on the menu and it's huge! They are obviously trying to rival Popeye's in size of the item, as I don't remember the Double Down being this immense years back when I first tried one. It was piping hot and fresh. The fries were room temperature warm by the time I got them. Had they been hot, or close to hot, I would have given 5 stars, hence the 4 star rating given. If you have not tried a a Double Down, I highly recommend that you do, before KFC takes this off their menu again. Not sure if it's back for a limited time only. Although if you do, it could very well be your last, as this robust treasure is a potential heart attack in a wrapper. It is overflowing with calories.

I got a bucket last night, July 31, 2022, close to 8PM. Got home to see how dark, dry and hard the chicken were! They were re-fried! Family hardly ate. So disappointed! I ordered KFC, not Marie Callenders.

They were very quick and sweet. My food tasted so fresh and warm, I got a sandwich and it was very crispy my favorite item at the store. I will 100% be returning.

Please check your food before you leave!! Good staff but the ones who prepared your order seems to not give a hoot.

The KFC at Farmwell hunt plaza is the only nearest KFC for Ashburn. This place does'nt have all options available when we go late. We have never gotten a whole family bucket of extra crispy chicken after 9 pm anytime. It is always a mixed pieces bucket or only original chicken bucket. In my opinion, if a store is open till 10 or 11 pm, they should have all food options available until the closing time. Some other places like popeye's do make fresh food if they don't have what we order at drive through until their closing time and this place is not one of them

I placed an order for this location on Uber Eats in the afternoon on on June 29th. The delivery was prompt but the chicken was the worst KFC I've had in my entire life! Whoever put the chicken in the bucket were well aware that they were sticking someone with old dried out chicken. Every single piece were shrunken and so dried out and dark that you could not chew it. Disgruntled employee?? Or...are employees instructed to dump old chicken off on unsuspecting customers who order online for delivery. The rest of my order, however, fries, chicken strips, slaw, mashed potatoes, gravy and biscuits were fine. I spent a lot of money on the bucket of chicken that had to be tossed out so hopefully management addresses this. I will be reporting it to Corporate.

When did KFC get awesome again? I had the 2 piece white meat extra crunchy meal. IT WAS AWESOME... The lady at the window was super polite... wondering if this was a fluke...

Don't hate kfc just because they struggled a bit they will get back on they feet I like chicken with ketchup

[ Food Review ] My boyfriend and I wanted to try KFC's Nashville Hot Chicken and their exclusive Mountain Dew Sweet Lightning drink. We've watch a video about it from JoeysWorldTour and it looked really good. However, this location only had the chicken tenders version of it. The seasoning was great, it was spicy, but at an enjoyable level, however the tenders were a bit hard, where the crunch kind of hurt. We kind of expected the chicken to be more juicier and saucier like in the video we watched. The Sweet Lightning drink tasted more like a fruit juice than a soda or tea, so if you're expecting a soda, you'll be disappointed (I loved it though!). [ COVID-19 Management Review ] I only went through their drive thru to order food! It's like your typical drive through experience: you order, pay, and they give you your order the next window. The employees are wearing masks which is good.

Pretty flavorless and flabby tenders; mashed potatoes were very runny and cold. Very disappointed.

They dont have a 0 shows from the oside of building owners or managers guess dont care about the property or to cheap to make it at least look presentable as for tthe food well if you're looking for high cholesterol and a bucket full of grease that hasnt been changed in a few months this is the place to go the service is not good also ,but cant blame the employees its probably the owners of this place the founder probably roll over in his grave food sucks now days cause people dont care,only to turn a dollar.

Absolutely goddamn horrible. Does this company even read or care about reviews and it's customers? Half ass food. Also ordered original chicken that was extremely stale, soaked in oil and cold. Wedges were so stale that you can't eat it. When will you all understand that we pay good money for food that is suppose to be the same at every franchise? Horrible. Please change management.

It's me again Okay so I went to KFC today for a quick bite to eat. The drive thru line was almost to the street but I was hungry. Got to the drive thru intercom and she placed me on hold. She was pleasant and repeated my order back to me. First window was closed and when I got to the second window it was tinted. I've never seen a tinted drive thru window. It honestly creeped me out. Why wouldn't you want me to see you making my drink and packing my food. I paid, got my food and left. I ordered the little chicken sandwich meal, I think it was K13, anyways the chicken was flavorless and the fries were hard. I didn't even taste the sweet tea. I just tossed it. I wouldn't go back. The service is slow, probably short staffed, the food isn't good but the cashier was pleasant.

Idiots at the store only sent half my food, I ask for honey mustard for my chicken strips I got a hand full of Taco Bell sauce. How special do you have to be to screw up this bad?

Although their drive to says open till midnight and is posted clearly on their door. You have better luck of finding a leprechaun then ever getting Taco Bell or KFC from this restaurant past 10 o'clock. I have come here multiple times hoping that I can get some food after I get off of work. I am then disappointed by either them shooing me away or no one being there at all. I hope that they find new management soon or post that they shut EVERYTHING DOWN by like 9:30. This is ridiculous and until they actually post their TRUE hours of operation, or change the posted time.

I understand that many places are focusing on washing hands and social distancing because of Covid and I guess hygiene and covering up your hair has fallen to the wayside because as soon as I opened one of my mashed potatoes from my $20 family fill up meal, I saw a hair on the top of it. More than likely it looks like it fell in as whoever was filling the containers wasn't wearing a hair covering. I live about 20 minutes from this KFC as it is the closest one to me and I am not about to turn around or go back out just to get a replacement mashed potatoes without the certainty that it won't contain a hair. I understand the times are hard for everyone but KFC you need to do better I already had low expectations of all KFC's because they got rid of the potato wedges and in place started selling those nasty fries. Guess I'm just going to have to go to Popeyes or just cook at home. Despite my opinion about the fries, having a hair in your food is disgusting. I guess I could go to the one in Purcellville but that one is run by teenagers and they are always out of everything by 8:00 PM.

If I could I would give zero stars. They made a mistake on my order. When I returned they treated me so rudely. They threw the corrected order at me and returned the original order after they had it open and their hands In it.

God awful. My son and I ordered from here and it was awful. The grease was old or food tasted like it was using week old oil. These people don't care at all about quality or whether it taste good. Who the hell owns this place? This place needs to close down. Why even bother owning a business when this is the way you're going to serve food to people? This ruined me for KFC in this area!

This chicken was the worst chicken ever the clothes tasted like it was in the refrigerator for days the potatoes had corn in it didn't order the bowl with it just regular mashed potatoes and corn in it the chicken itself was dry and old it's been sitting out probably since yesterday I do not recommend this place do not eat at this restaurant they are the worst the food is disgusting the biscuits I like hockey pucks this is the third time we've gone and the same results three strikes they're out. I had to give it a one star just posted but they actually get zero stars or negative stars that's how bad it is

KFC's original recipe chicken is one of the best. I also like their Fun Shots and french fries and once in a while I crave to eat those. One thing that I don't like with KFC here is that they keep on releasing experimental chicken recipes.

This is the most disgusting KFC I have ever visited. How in the world could you mess up a waffle??? You should be ashamed to sell these things. They taste like chemicals. Mr Sanders is turning over in his grave. Disgusting!!!! Take these off the menu immediately. The Mac and cheese is dry and tasteless. These should be two very easy things to pull off and I'm surprised you can't get them to an editable status. Go back to the drawing board!!! Fire your Head Chef tomorrow. Disgusting!!!!!!!

After a lovely night out with my boyfriend at the bar we had gotten a ride home from our designated driver and decided that Taco Bell sounded like a fantastic idea. We looked up the nearest one that was open since some of them close earlier than others. We saw that this location was open until 1am and since it was only 12:30 we decided to swing by on our way home. Upon our arrival we realized that the establishment was actually closed despite what all the website information had said. So if you're in the Ashburn area and looking forward to Taco Bell after 12 am then don't count on it. Waste of Time.

No grilled chicken on a Thursday afternoon. What? Ladies room inoperable. Been here several times with no issues. Disappointed today.

This place makes all KFCs look bad. It has had problems for almost 8 years. I've had food poisoning 2 times, the chicken doesn't seem fresh like its 3-4 days old and then soaked in oil for too long and then over-cooked to cover up it not being fresh. That is my opinion but everyone I know agrees that they have been disappointed. If you want good KFC, you might as well drive a bit further to Sterling Blvd for a fresher KFC. I've written KFC HQ and let them know that this place has a problem and they need to do an overhaul.

I stopped going to this KFC/Tacobell. Seeing that it is the closest KFC to me, I kept going despite having orders messed up. It got to the point that the last few times, I would check my food before leaving the parking lot. The very last straw was when I had to walk back in to the store and tell them they forgot an item. The Manager said that we did not order it. I showed the receipt and he asked "Let me see your bag" I showed him the bag and he asked if I took it out and left it in the car (Somewhat jokingly). I told him that they are habitual for forgetting food and that I will never come back to the store. It is terrible.

Normally, I wouldn't review a KFC, but I just have to say... This place used to be super busy, but the normal KFC quality has plummeted. We stopped by to grab a quick bite and the chicken was not good, the macaroni & cheese was bizarre looking, the fries were not good, the sodas were SEVERELY watered down, and even the biscuit was defective. Dear Taco Bell/KFC Owner, why the heck have you run your business into the ground??? Poor quality = no customers. Know what I mean? There's a LOT of food competition in Ashburn, you really need to rethink your strategy.

Our church has ordered in bulk from this KFC for several years for our annual homecoming celebration. This year we ordered 120 pieces, and I was a little concerned when I went to pick it up, as they have been late in the past. But this year they were right on time, which was particularly impressive since the pickup time was 10:30 a.m., their opening time. So somebody had to come in early to prepare this. The manager I worked with was Amelia, who was wonderful. I also called the KFC catering line ahead of time to reiterate the time and confirm the order, which may have helped. The chicken was 1/2 original recipe and 1/2 extra crispy, both of which were fine. At the end of the lunch, only a lone piece remained. (I suspect that somebody woulld have taken it, but was too polite to take the last piece.) The only reason I gave it four stars and not five was that we didn't get a price break for odering 120 pieces. We were charged the standard 10-piece price times 12. There was certainly some economy of scale there, which they could have passed on to us in some fashion.

Saturday night family dinner. $40 spent for chicken, 4 sides and 6 rock hard, very very very stale biscuits...un-eatable !!! How could they even have served these ... You can do better virtually anywhere else in the local community.

They never have creamy buffalo sauce and the "Manager" told me that KFC doesn't even have a sauce flavor by that name! Say what now??

Worst kfc. Hands down. I already had to eat a late dinner tonight, my bf comes home (we live 5 miles away) first I notice it's like BARELY Luke warm. And then we ordered extra crispy. This was def original. And not fresh at all. It was gross and definitely had been sitting for HOURS. And then I noticed the wing still had feathers on it!!! Like... all over it...I called ELEVEN TIMES no answer. went back, the manager BARELY spoke any English, snatched my receipt from me, and was unhelpful. When I told her to replace it she tried to tell me she was gonna give me original. Not crispy... Probably cause they didn't actually wanna cook me new decent food and wanted to give me more junk .. so finally after all that I went to wendys, spent way less money. And actually got to eat decently warm food when I got home, however it's 1130 and my ONE YEAR OLD son is awake cause of all of this...

Have the hot wings another try. The hot wings are always dry and like freezer burn . They are like they been sitting under the heat / warm source and served dry and awful . Not sure why they give to the customer this way when we pay money for fresh food . Some customers like myself work hard for our money each day and waste it at this location . Shame on KFC employees for serving old , dry , overcooked hot wings . Shameful .

The food is terrible. I've tried to give it several opportunities but every time the food is horrible. The food seems as if it's been sitting for hours and reheated. The food has no taste. I love KFC and love the taste of the original chicken and this location has dropped the ball. The customer service is hit or miss as well. #neveragain

Ordered hot wings from this place and the chicken was disgusting. Took it back and the owner had the nerve to argue with me about it. Worst KFC ever.

Went into this location at 1030am thinking I could get Taco Bell breakfast burritos. Unfortunately this location doesn't serve breakfast. I opted instead to try the new Chicken & Waffle sandwich. The waffle was tasty and sweet. With the pearl sugar baked inside, there is no need for additional syrup. The chicken was moist and tender, but could have used more of the Hot Honey sauce. From the advertised pictures, it appears that the chicken is dipped in the sauce. My chicken had 1 dollop of the sauce on each side thus leaving the edges without sauce. Service was good but why wouldn't it be at 1030 in the morning.

This location is one of the worst KFC's I have been to. I ordered a 3 piece chicken tender combo with a Baja blast and potato wedges instead of mashed potatoes. The menu said $5.79 but it ended up being $8.68 somehow? The Baja blast tasted like it was mixed with bleach/windex. I threw it away instantly. My 3 chicken tenders came as 2 giant, moisture soaked chicken breasts that were completely black on the inside and the "biscuit" they gave me just about cracked my teeth. I would've gotten more enjoyment and nutrition out of just eating my $9. Thanks for nothing, won't be coming back here ever again.

Been there several times, issues almost always. Today I ordered potato wedges for my son since he's been asking for a while. Guess what? They sure didn't forget to charge me for it but forgot the item. Hate to drive back in this cold and now I decided never to go back AGAIN.

Alright, so my wife and I talked on the phone after work and decided that neither of us felt like cooking dinner. So we decided that it would be a good ideal for me to stop at this Taco Bell/KFC for some KFC for dinner. I initially went through the drive-thru thinking hey this shouldn't take long and I shouldn't need to go inside (Oh boy was I wrong). I get to this location and proceed to the drive-thru and I place my order for two 3 piece chicken meal (all grilled chicken) with sides of coleslaw and mashed potatoes for both which was very simple right?. WRONG. The gentleman taking the order told me to proceed to the second window which I did, the guy taking the order recited to me what I owed him for the meal, and as I started to hand him the money he began talking about what kind of car I had (he said Nissan Maximum which was wrong because it is an Altima) telling me how he knows cars and how he is able to absorb information about cars but nothing else. So while talking to me he then begins to hand me the receipt for my purchase and closes the window at this point I'm baffled because he owes me $7 dollars in change but he is looking at me like I'm crazy. So I tell him, hey man you owe me some change and he looks at the receipt and sees that he owes me and then apologizes and goes to hunt down his manager because now he has closed the cash register without giving me my change and now he can't open it unless he has the key or something to open it. So he comes with his manager and gets my change from the cash register. Now I'm waiting there for my order and mind you, during this whole time there is another customer behind me waiting. So the manager then opens the drive-thru window and ask me what am I waiting for and I say, "my meal, I ordered two 3 piece chicken meals" and now she starts to look at me like I'm crazy. So after she talks with one of the other colleagues she finally understood the problem (which they didn't inform me) which was some customer purchased most of their grilled chicken so they only had 4 pieces left and could only give me that and two originals (I'm shocked because this is a KFC and you specialize in chicken how can you be out) I say to myself you can't be serious. So now I needed to make a quick decision because there was a customer waiting behind me this whole time. And because I didn't want to hold them up I told the manager that I would park off to the side so they can take care of the customer behind me and I will come inside with my decision. Ok so after talking with my wife we felt that the 4 pieces of grilled chicken and two originals would be fine. So I proceed inside and told the lady that the 4 grilled and 2 originals would be fine. I finally get my order and head home. I bet you thought I was done. NOPE. Upon arriving home my wife and I open the boxes and it looked like there were 6 pieces of grilled chicken in the box so we had an absolutely confused look on our faces because there should of been 2 original pieces of chicken. But they were all grilled. So I continued with my objective of eating the meal I just purchased. Ok so now here is the review of the actual food. The biscuits were extremely hard like they cooked them two days ago, left them out for a day to get room temperature and gave it to us. The grilled chicken was dry as well which also seemed like it was cooked a couple days ago. The coleslaw was dry as well. The meal was pretty much a complete waste of money. The only thing that tasted somewhat decent was the mashed potatoes. In closing the reason this place is even getting two stars is because we've gotten KFC here before and it was much better than what we ate today. Also because this KFC is combined with a Taco Bell I'm hoping that Taco Bell may workout better (Here's hoping). My advice is to leave this place alone at all cost if you can or until they are under new management or something because right now this place doesn't execute the way it should. Just bad all around. Sigh. Another one bites the dust.

Do not go here. I've continued to give this establishment a chance as it's the closest to our house, but it continually messes up our orders in the drive thru. Every single time we have placed an order (5+ times), they have messed up something. I placed an order tonight and they completely neglected my son's meal. How can an establishment be this incompetent and still be open? Good riddance.

I normally am not one who always posts 1/5 reviews based off of 1 experience or something I disagree with... But I've gone here 3 times and each time had a horrible experience. I'm sitting in bed now with food poisoning (fever, chills, weakness, shaking, nausea) after eating KFC here. This is one of the worst fast food restaurants I've ever been to. No napkins, dirty in the cooking area and dining room, extremely slow, food ordered incorrectly, strange looking food, and other non-desirable experiences. Simple, DO NOT GO HERE. Do not think "well they can't be that bad" because it seriously is.

Chicken tonight had a fishy flavor. Coleslaw had an off taste. Mac & cheese was passable, but keeping it in styrofoam in a heater is an awful idea. Oh yeah, and it took at least 10 minutes in drivethrough.

There are not enough employees to handle the demand of this store. I had to wait a solid 15 minutes for a side order of mashed potatoes and green beans. Not to mention the line for the drive thru was practically around the building!

Myself and my other half ate here for dinner today. Place seemed understaffed and our meal was not very good. The chicken was barely warm and overly salted. Will not be eating at KFC ever again.

Went to KFC for a Sunday afternoon during a Redskins halftime only because a coupon came in the mail yesterday. They had 4 people working after a new mailer went out and on a football Sunday afternoon.... A frustrated woman had to come inside from the drive thru due to the lengthy line. There was already a 20 minute line full of frustrated folks. I must say this is the all time WORST KFC i have ever been to. Even though there was a 20 minutes backlog of people stacked up, the employees continued to work like they were stuck in 2nd gear... None of the workers were even concerned there was a line of people waiting on their food.... Horrible - Horrible - Horrible. Did I say they were horrible? Stay away, my next call is to their corporate HQ.

Quite possibly the most disgusting and dirty fast food restaurant I have ever been to. There is years of grime and dirt build up on ALL of the seats, the garbage disposal boxes, utensil area, and the soda fountain looked like it had never been cleaned. There was only one other customer at the time I was there and there wasn't a single clean table. Cleanliness is not a priority at this restaurant- and it's probably not even a requirement! I challenge any other person to prove me wrong and I challenge management to clean this filthy place before someone gets food poisoning.
