KFC (Chinatown Point)

It’s been super long since I came to this branch (last time I was here was before they renovated) and I finally visited on a weekday for dinner as I had a KFC voucher I need to expense. Seats were easily available. I have to praise the cleanliness (improved from last time) of the place as the service staff will sweep up any chicken batter crumbs on the floor when they have a free moment. The cashier was kind enough to ask me which chicken parts I prefer (I don’t want breast meat) as I don’t visit KFC often enough to remember to mention it. The best thing on the menu is their cheese fries (best in Singapore) while their fried chicken is no longer in my top choices for awhile now due to improving competition. KFC SG does try to innovate with loads of seasonal new offerings like the La Zi Ji (Sichuan style) which is commendable.

There was this staff that i came up and NICELY asked if they have received my order (i was waiting for 45 mins. Didnt ask earlier cus its truly THAT crowded). Before i even finished my question, she stuck her arm to the side and told me to wait. Very normal staff reaction, nvm. I then clarified that im not asking if my order is still preparing, i dont mind the wait, i just want to ensure the order is received so that i dont waste my time waiting for almost an hour. She deliberately rolled her eyes and shrugged 3 times, and gestured the empty counter, thinking that i was still trying to check if my order is ready. Then she turned her back to me and watched her colleagues prepare the food. Im pretty sure her job is just to tie the takeaway plastics and call out order numbers, she literally was not doing anything else. If she were busy and stressed, i completely understand her frustration which could lead to her horrible attitude. But she was just STONING there. What is her excuse for being a sore human being? KFC, don't hire staff who cant do the bare minimum customer service, i wasn't even looking for customer service, it was really a simple question and answer interaction that any human being is naturally capable to do. Which she so clearly lacked. 100% not coming back here as long as this funny fella is around. I know i dont pay for the service, i pay for the food, but still. I would like to be able to check if my order has been received without an eye roll. It was a simple yes or no question left unfulfilled. The customer walked back to her group of friends and instantly bashed on this lady staff 😂 and mimicked the way she replied to her, "yea i will call i will call" in the most rude tone ever

kfc is good for quick snacks if youre craving chicken. The chicken a lot of oil and fat, as your favourite local guider i recommend you to come here for lunch or dinner, i loved the mashed potatoes with gravy it was really good alternative if you dont really like kfc but your family forced you to eat here >;)

KFC Chinatown point Rating 4.6 Sylvia Ang known as Ang Lay Kheng had KFC. 2 PCs chicken, large coke, salad & potato. The chicken is crispy. Coke large is enough. Had a good dining experience.

The breakfast wrap was tasty, but the portion of egg inside was too little. Overall, it was okay. However, this outlet has an issue since it’s located next to BreadTalk, the entire shop smells of baking of food. After dining in, my clothes and hair carried the oily smell, which was unpleasant.

ordered from this outlet for a few times and i have to say this staff called "sally" or something is extremely rude and clueless. I was there on 14/1/26 and the whole time she was basically doing nothing and just ordering the other girl around even though the girl was busy packing food the whole time. while sally was just walking here and there nagging at the girl asking her to "oi you do this order, i very tired". but the funny part is that the girl was doing all the order the whole time i was waiting there and sally didn't even touch the food once. when the girl served the food to me i managed to get a glance of her name tag and i think it was "mingxin"? but her outfit was black shirt so im not sure if shes new or what. kinda feel back for her. worst part is that i saw a customer returning the extra chilli sauce to sally (which i think is a really nice thing to do) but sally literally rolled her eyes at her and say stuff under her breath and badmouthing the customer to the poor girl the whole time saying stuff like "aiyo botahan, these kind of people bahbah" like huh???? and the poor girl was just there packing all the order and don't even bother to look at sally lol. OMG and the one thing that i really can't tahan was that she even lied and blamed the girl. basically i was standing near the counter there waiting for my order the whole time and i know that sally was making my order (finally she does smt) while the girl went to take grab order i think. then omg when she served it to me, there were so many missing stuff and she faced me the whole burger and chicken pieces. when i confronted her about it, she said "idk you ask the girl, not i do one. that one new, dk how do anything, very jialat" like hello why you gossiping about the poor girl to me when i witnessed all the stuff you did. then she started shouting at the girl "aiya you come, she looking for you, you do wrong order!'" ofc i can't deal with this and told her i was there the whole time and saw that the girl didn't even touch this order once and she was the one doing it. then she just side eye me and ordered the girl to check the order herself and redo for me. i was so speechless the whole time and wanna complain about sally to the manager so much but the girl laughed and told me isok. i really hope kfc will do something about this situation and deal with sally. im sure im not the one witnessing such behaviour of sally

As expected when visiting a fast food joint in Singapore. Limited service. Ordered on the 2-devices available at the door. Free seating.. there's one wash basin at this outlet. Food was alright. We went for the Spicy Crispy version and it was OK.. no chicken breast this time.. just the thigh region and a drumlet. The mashed potato is good.. no lumps and moist. The coleslaw is better than expected. The fries.. cannot beat MacDonald's. Soda drinks are self-service and my ice lemon tea are prepared in the kitchen. Quick dinner before dessert. Nothing to shout about.

Today I met the Counter Auntie and Service Crew, I'm eaten all chicken breasts with meats. Worth it!!
