Visited this outlet on 1 March 2026, late afternoon. I ordered a 2-pc Smoky Kecap Manis 2pc Chicken meal via Self-Order kiosk.
To my dismay, for the 2-pc chicken pieces, I was served a tiny wing (not even a full wing) & a small drumlet. Any customer familiar with KFC’s 2-pc Chicken meal would immediately recognize this discrepancy.
I approached the frontline staff (the regular auntie that I recognise from previous visits) & asked why the pieces were so small. She replied, “Oh this Kecap Manis chicken is like that, all small small one. All drumlets!!”
I asked her to please check. She did not. Instead, she repeated the same answer, ignored me, & proceeded to prepare other orders — making absolutely no effort to check, verify the order, or review the portions.
Totally Zero attempt to rectify.
Reluctantly, I finished the meal & left, unconvinced.

2 days later, on 3 March 2026, 6pm at KFC (PLQ Mall), I saw multiple customers having the exact same Smoky Kecap Manis 2-pc Chicken Meal. The same that I ordered previously. And the chicken pieces were significantly larger: Proper-sized portions, consistent with a 2-pc set meal.
Obviously, I had been lied to by this frontline auntie. The discrepancy, dishonesty & lack of accountability are undeniable & appalling.
This isn’t about wanting a “bigger piece.” It’s about being dismissed, given a clearly inaccurate explanation, and zero accountability when customers raise legitimate concerns.
Extremely disappointed.
This also shows, that customers cannot always rely on consistency or integrity at this outlet.
