I have a great experience at KFC/Taco Bell, Hampstead. The atmosphere feels very welcoming and positive and its clear There is a new management team making a difference. The store was clean. The team was friendly and the food was hot and fresh. You can definitely feel their improvement in both service and quality. Keep up the great work team.

It’s KFC, so we all know what to expect when it comes to the food. But this time, the experience stood out. The girl at the register was incredibly attentive and even offered me a drink while I waited.

Ordered through DoorDash and this is the worst KFC I have ever have gotten food from. Ordered 8 pieces of chicken only got 4. Chicken was not fresh and really greasy. Ordered 8 chicken strips only got 7. They were dry and over cooked. All of the sides we ordered were only half full. The worst was the mashed potatoes. They looked like they must of ran low on them and added water to thin them out. After eating what we could of the chicken and trying the mashed potatoes half of my house was complaining of stomach aches. Will never order from here again. It’s a shame because there aren’t many fast food places in the area and this place is terrible.

Ordered 3 pc white meat chicken box from KFC drive thru in Hampstead Waited at least 7 min. To come home & discover I received one white meat carcass covered in an over whelming amount of batter. The biscuit was hard enough to break a tooth. The coleslaw tasted of pure onion. VERY BAD EXPERIENCE!!!!!!! It’s not the first time. However, years ago they were actually good. Not anymore. So I called the store. It took like 8 back to back calls to reach a pulse. Unfortunately, the person really couldn’t understand English. I kept trying to tell her I couldn’t come back in today because I’m disabled & no longer had a ride. She just kept saying the same thing. You come in today we’ll replace it. It ended up in a moot point. Prior we tried Taco Bell. Even more disgusting! I honestly couldn’t identify anything on the order. So slopped on, gross. it home from drive thru nothing looked familiar. It tasted even worse 🤮. If you want even tolerable food, do yourself a favor & pass by the two connecting restaurants. It’s a no win situation. Paid over $15 for nothing worth eating.

Every once in a while I like to have KFC! Because of how mismanaged this location is I haven't been for a year. Decided to go March 4th, 2025. Website and door say hours open at 11am. Went at 11:30am, no one there, doors locked. I went back at noon, doors still locked! Decided to try a week later, same issue! Gave up ant went across the street to Jersey Mike's, busy but fast and exceptional service. KFC Westminster closed because of how horrible they were, this location must be owned/managed by the same group.

So what is it? All of the outside signage says Taco Bell. All of the inside signage is Kentucky fried Chicken. And as we ordered Taco Bell stuff, it became pretty clear that the people preparing the food don't really know what they are either. The burritos that we received were not labeled properly with the wrap. They were oversized and not well burrito wrapped. There were no condiments available to take, and new lids for the large cup of soda. As far as the food quality, I've definitely had better Taco Bell experiences. And cleaner ones.

I had to wait for 30 minutes for two sandwich combos, which was completely unacceptable. My cashier, Tara, never consulted, reassured, or acknowledged me the entire time. Another person, a young woman with a white skin tone and short brown hair, stated they were "backed up," but there were only one or two other people ahead of, still waiting in the lobby. After waiting 30 minutes I had to go inside the store to receive any acknowledgment. finally received my food around 6:14-6:15pm, after getting my receipt at 5:43pm. This whole experience was totally unacceptable They didn’t offer any accommodations or goodwill gestures for the extreme wait. this what the manager thinks is acceptable here?

Amber the The drive-through cashier instead of saying good morning. Welcome to KFC she says what can I get you? She just seem very rude and when I tried to walk in to sit down, she’s like oh we’re not open yet you have to leave.

4/1/2025 Ordered a Pot Pie , Disappointed Don't know what meat their using But horrible, Monies wasted! Drink was excellent!

Well to start with we could not understand the attendant. They need to be able to speak better English. So I asked for a 12 piece meal. We got 7 wings and 1 leg plus 3 breasts and 3 thighs. They didn't even ask if we minded. We also asked for an 8 piece nuggets to snack on the way home. They were ice cold! Then you have the price, $53. That is crazy! Will not be back again, that is sad!

I would not recommend this establishment if you paid me numerous complaints and they still never do anything about it needs to be completely staffed with people that actually want to work the service is horrible. The food is disgusting. It's normally wet and soggy and inside there is a Taco Bell but for some reason they don't advertise I guess because they've had so many complaints about that one as well.

This continues to be the worst KFC and Taco Bell in the world. I have sworn off this place, and in fact have not been there in a couple of years, but occasionally (like tonight) my wife forces me to go here because it's so close. We ordered a two piece breast and wing but got a breast and thigh. The mashed potatoes were like boxed potato flakes done badly. I got the Mexican pizza and not only were they out of refried beans, they only put about a tablespoon of meat on it and it was just slapped together. It's hard to suck at both being KFC and sucking at being Taco Bell, but they manage to excel at both. If I could I would give them a negative number. I am swearing it off again, but I guess I will try it again when my wife forces me to in a couple of more years.

This KFC is so bad that it is funny! . I ordered a large Mac and cheese and I watched them dump a small Mac and cheese into a large Mac and cheese bowl/container right in front of my eyes and then handed it to Me

The cost of food is too high for this piss poor of a sandwich KFC decided to serve me. THE CHEESE WASNT EVEN MELTED!!!! I'm so disgusted by this. I knew it was a bad idea when they told me the fries was not going to be ready for another five minutes. Please do not go to this location.

Staff are very rude. There was a promotion but unless you ordered online it was not available. Had to go online to order as the staff just stood there.

I'll give them one star because I didn't wait long like the other folks in these reviews did. I'll say this , the original recipe and the pot pie taste nothin like the KFC near me. Idk whose recipes they're using but it damn sure ain't the colonel's. The pot pie tasted strangely of rosemary and I think it had stuffing in it. I don't even have a word for the texture of the chicken in it . Also the original recipe was cooked harder than Popeyes and the biscuit was so hard aka cooked within an inch of its life. The drumsticks could only be described as petite , chicken little style. File this one under live and learn.

I used the KFC website to order catering more than a day ahead of when I needed it. I had volunteered to bring dinner to the cold weather shelter in Westminster, and I thought this would be a nice treat. Everyone loves fried chicken, and the options were good and site was easy to use. When I entered the restaurant to pick up my order, I was shooed out. Okay... covid. I could've done without the attitude, but I could sit in the notoriously slow drive through to get my rather large order. When I got to the ordering box, I was told they couldn't fill my whole order. When I got to the pickup window. I was told they couldn't give me any of my order. I was already late and now I had to scramble to figure out how I was going to provide food for 30 hungry homeless folks who had spent their day in the cold. The manager offered no alternatives and didn't try to make it right. Thank goodness for the good people of Genova's! I later contacted the KFC customer service and suggested the way to make it right would be for them to provide food one night for the people at the shelter. It's been more than three weeks, and KFC has shown no interest in repairing their reputation or helping their community.

I had reward all the reviews and still, stupid me, gave them a chance. I walked in, all the employees were sitting at a table on their phones. When I walked in two got up and slowly walked to the kitchen area. Finally one came to take my order. No greeting just "What can I get you?". I placed my order for a meal that included Nashville Hot chicken. I could see the girl in the kitchen making it. I could see her just squirt some sauce on top of the bowl So it just got the tops of some of the meat. But was everywhere else. The girl who handed me my meal looked miserable and walked back over to the table where the remaining employee was still sitting in his phone. I've worked in fast food and restaurants. When we were "slow" we were either cleaning or stocking something. We always greeted each customer as if we were happy to see them. Back to the bowl. Completely underwhelmed. Definitely not what it use to be.

This has always been a terrible KFC that I tend to retry every few years in hopes that they have new management. Its always the same problems 1. KFC biscuits are hard as a rock (every single time) 2. They are out of chicken (how is this possible?) 3. They don't have anything prepared / understaffed and you wait 25 minutes to find out the biscuits from last month were the only thing pre-prepared. Sad they closed the one in Westminster and didn't move the manager over here.

I come from Westminster,MD to come to this KFC. Yesterday I had the worst chicken there. The chicken was old and dry, the sides was old two fries were not fresh the mash potatoes was ok. My daughter had the tender meal is was bad also the soda was the only thing good. For the money we spend it was a very bad experience. We will have to search for somewhere else to get chicken from. Also when we ordered normally we are asked if we wanted original or crispy we weren't we had to ask at the window and was told "O yeah we don't have original." bad service. KFC get it right!

Half hour wait. No joke! 3 employees sitting out front smoking. One young girl doing all of the work taking orders in the drive thru AND delivering the food out to the cars waiting in the parking lot several deep.

Just a normal KFC. It's the closest one near me. They had no one in the place when I came in. They accommodated my custom order. They got it wrong but they adjusted it to the correct order. The chicken was fresh and good. Like I said a typical KFC restaurant. Nothing special but it's here.

Horrible. Been there 2x in 3 days. "were out of chicken sandwiches." can we order chicken boxes? Were out of chicken tonight. Next night. Can we order 3 chicken sandwiches? Yes pull around. Order 3, get 1 w no receipt. excuse me were missing 2 sandwiches. "Can you show your receipt?" No we didnt get a receipt. "Theres nothing we can do sir".

y'all need to fix your damn cups , 6 times today the lid has came off and spilt on me , get your shit together kfc ... i'm disappointed

Place is a crap hole... still... Manager has her kids living in the place after school, Windows are so dirty can't see out. Entire place is dirty and gross! We stood in line with 7 others for 5 min before anyone acknowledged us even standing there.

In it's entire existence, has never once had chicken ready without a 20 minute wait. I have also never seen a single employee over the age of 16 in this place ever, and every one of them talks to you like they couldn't care less that they worked there. Consistently closes early and/or runs out of food. Absolutely terrible, was a huge waste of money to remodel this place.

I had never been to this kfc, was driving through town and picked up supper in the drive in today. The food I received did not match my order. The chicken tasted like it was sitting around all day, not fresh at all. They were out of cold slaw and the mashed potatoes and corn tasted bad. By far the worst kfc meal I have ever had.

Front door locked , used drive through. Order was mixed up. Had to get back in drive through and wait in line. Then told no mashed potatoes had to get FF . They had thrown in corn instead . Poor staff and or bad manager. Won't be back! Years ago used to b good but this brand has gone to Hell

I've been to this KFC/Taco Bell a few more times since I wrote the last review and the place seemed to have turned around. There is still a little bit of the high school-ish behavior / professionalism like playing around behind the counters, loud discussions that the whole restaurant can here, and taking smoke breaks right next to the entrance. These are relatively small things though. The important thing is that orders are taken and filled promptly. The last few times everything has been accurate the first time. Now they don't always do a great job of evenly applying the sour cream throughout the taco or the beans in my Nacho Supreme may be lumped on one side of the tray but hey its fast food and its at least correct. I may actually use their drive thru or :gasp: not check the boxes before I get home.

They aren't fast food, unless you like spending 20 minutes in line with only two people ahead of you. On top of that, the chicken never tastes fresh, the mashed potatoes are lumpy and not the creamy mashed potatoes most KFC serve up, and the Mac and Cheese seems to come from another planet. On top of all of that. They discontinued the hot wings. I'm tired of KFCs dropping the best items on the menu. Grilled, Hot Wings, what's next? Do not go here. DO NOT. Go to Hanover PA for fresher looking food.

Poor experience today. Waited 15 minutes for 2 soft tacos. Problems at all staff levels. Observed two other customers waiting close to 20 minutes for chicken with no attention at all. Almost all staff outside talking on personal phones including Manager. They concentrated on Drive-Thru mostly and ignored inside customers.

Certainly NOT fast food and that's even if they have chicken!!!!! Do NOT go through the drive-thru, you'll sit there (with no way out) for at least 20 minutes just for them to tell you that they have NO CHICKEN. If you are one of the lucky ones to actually get chicken, IT WILL BE WRONG. The restaurant is dirty inside and out and there is no good management. 6 workers inside staring at the walls, a frazzled manager, only 2 customers in the lobby and we still waited 20 mins for our order. Worst customer service EVER. Too bad we can't get a Chick Fil A or some other chicken place in Hampstead. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HORRIBLE PLACE

Please remember to put the sauce in the chicken quesadillas. As you see, I have a slight obsession with the quesadillas, solely because of the mild sauce that's inside. I order two usually because they're so good. However, I almost died of disappointment today as the sauce was nowhere to be found inside either of my quesadilla. The sauce is what makes it dangerously addicting. I will be returning, but will be expecting the sauce.

I have to agree with the other reviews. This place is a mess. We waited 40 min for a bucket of chicken. We agreed to wait 16 min for more chicken which they must have given to someone else. So we had to wait for another 16 min for more chicken. The food tasted fine but we won't go back again.

When I'm feeling dried out chicken and a screwed up order, this is my favorite place to go to.

Couldn't get order right after repeating it several times. It wasn't a complicated order. The chicken was dry and rock hard when I finally got it. Didn't even finish the food.

Wife went there on Friday May 19th to get dinner and go to find out that once again they don't have any Original Chicken available, who is running this place because for a Friday night you should have plenty of Chicken in the original receipt available. This will be our last time going there.

Friendly counter service. Unable to fill my order & had to change selection. Filthy. Food on tables. Floor dirty. Swinging door to counter service broken on hinges. We threw away good portion of food. If I knew how filthy it was, we would not have ordered. Wonder how they pass health dept inspections.

1/2 an hour wait for a pot pie??? Really? So we ended up getting sandwiches and taco bell...all slapped together in a mess.

I have NEVER experienced such awful service. After having to change our order several times because they did not have that item (sweet tea, lemonade, Mac n cheese, cookies) we were told it would be 20min for chicken. After 35 mins I asked to speak to the manager. They finally found the manager out side where he was talking on his cell phone, he then proceeded to ask me what I wanted him to do. He only had 4 people working and 2 were new and didn't know what they were doing. He also says, "I can't make people come to work" I asked for a corporate number, to which he responded, "they will tell you the same thing" and never provided me with a number. It was over 50 mins before I finally received my refund after the manager was yelling at the employees and told 2 of them to leave. (Again, keep in mind 4 employees - 1 "manager" on his phone, - 2 told to leave = 1 employee) needless to say, I will never be stepping foot in that place again.

This is the worst KFC I have ever been to. Every time I go here, they are out of something. What's worse is that they make no apologies about it. Unfortunately, we don't have much choice for fast food around here, so I find myself back for more abuse once in a great while. Stay away if you can.

This is the worse fast food place ever! The wait time is way too long. The staff is immature and really unqualified.

This place is so clean, fast, friendly, and delicous. Everyone there is sexy. I'm never let down, and I go everyday!Keep on keepin' on!

This is the worst KFC I have ever been to! The drive through is so slow. I went back in the summer once and swore I would never go again. But I went back this evening after about 6 months and I think it was even slower! I waited in the line for almost 30 minutes. It took me 10 minutes to get to the screeen where you order. Than I sat there for 15 before they came on the speaker to ask for my order. So after 25 minutes when I placed my order I was told that they did not have enough original recipe chicken for an 8-piece meal. Believe me I would never have sat in the drive through line that long but the way the drive through is designed you can not get out of it! Back in the summer, they gave you a free cake because of your wait. This time I did not order food because they did not have what I wanted. I am not sure if it is the most poorly managed restaurant I have ever been to or just under staffed. But I will NEVER go back. I hope they put another chicken place in Hampstead. A Chick-Fil-A or Royal Farm Store would be great!!
