First of all we waited more then 15 minutes for someone to take our order even though we were first in line. Then our order took at least 20 minutes, our drinks were nasty because there was no ice. The food not any better the tenders were dry, fries were over cooked and the tacos were vegetarian tacos instead of chicken tacos. That's not all the manager was super rude to the customers and employees too. We even witnessed a Doordash driver get angry because he had been waiting for over 30 minutes. When he asked about his order she responded that she was busy. He asked her for her name and he was told to leave. He was not the only Doordash driver there either. Never going to eat there again.

Yeah, came here a few times and service was great. I always come as it opens and as a mobile order. This lady touched her face, clothes and was sweeping but they made her stop to make my order as everyone else was walking around. Didn’t wash her hands either. Why did I have to wait 30 mins to get my food with others doing NOTHING????? I’ll drive far next time for better customer service!

Edit 11/05/22: dine in is now open! Customer service is nice most of the time. I like the employees here they do their best. The food sometimes doesn’t come as you ordered or they forget some stuff, which is a major inconvenience. This location supports mobile order pick up now, which is great - only negative thing is you cannot order Taco Bell through the app. The new interior is pretty clean, they’ve changed it drastically as compared to before the pandemic hit.

The staff was completely deceiving. I came in with a issue thinking it would be sliver because I expressed I work in customer service and I know how it can be frustrating. But the staff had other plans of being nasty. I sent my two high schoolers in to place a order. Communication from the staff was completely unknowledgeable. I ended up ordering a six piece, 4 regular sizes, and four biscuits. The chicken was mixed crispy and original recipe when I order original recipe. The fries and biscuits where old. Never thought to look cause I didn't think someone to be that nasty with my food because I had to step in because it was late and people where tired so they thought they'd treat my children any kind of way and give them what they wanted. They literally gave use uncooked powder potatoes with gravy on top. I will never and I mean never go here again. Corporate really needs to get rid of the manager that was there on this night because she was the one who served me those mash potatoes in purpose and I know for a fact it was on purpose.

Ordered a simple 6 pc meal from here online...was supposed to be ready at 645 for pickup. Got there at 645... They didn't have my order even made. First of all, when the app says it's ready at 645 that doesn't mean make it at 645. I didn't receive my order until 715! 30 MIN LATER!!!There were 4 other people waiting too. I was livid so I voiced how livid I was and she threw my bag at me. Don't go here...they speak limited English and they are laughing and lost in the kitchen.

People inside of the restaurant were asking for a re-do, one said she didn't like it, the other had also horrible wait time. They had told her 5 minutes for nuggets, almost 15 minutes went by. This was horrible, spend your money elsewhere.

This location is a KFC & Taco Bell combo location and during my last visit I purchased Taco Bell items. The drive thru line was backed up so I decided to go inside to place my order for Taco Bell. There was one person in front of me that was waiting on a delivery order and it took awhile before someone assisted me with my order. After my order for a Mexican Pizza combo was placed, I waited for over 15 minutes before I received my food! (BTW...I'm not one of those people that randomly throws out exaggerated timeframes they had to wait because I looked at my receipt that had the time my order was placed for reference.) While I was waiting, and when I went to get my drink, I noticed the self serve drink fountain was out of syrup for over half of the sodas/drinks including the Mountain Dew Baja Blast that I wanted. I did alert someone to this so they could be changed but nothing was done until I was practically out the door. When I asked what was taking so long for my food (all of the cars that were in the drive thru when I walked in were now long gone) I was told that the Taco Bell food was backed up. There wasn't anyone else inside and nobody in the drive thru at this point which was a little perplexing to me. It wasn't until I got back in my car and started eating that I noticed that no napkins or spork were included with my order. I visit this location often enough although this was the first time I went inside to order. It seems that the drive thru gets priority and is serviced much faster so I won't be going inside again.

The wings smelled and tasted like the oil that they fried them in was old and needed to be changed. The spicy wings are typically delicious but I have noticed lately that the oil is overused and needs to be replaced.

Went to KFC after a nice session at sheperds and the chicken was so good. The taste of the chicken sandwich was something else i can't explain. The food came in fast and I was very satisfied with the customer service. The chicken maker deserves a raise from all that hard work. Had a good time with my friends and i'm for sure coming back next time.

Lived in the area for a year now, and am a lover of Taco Bell. However, this was the first time I've actually visited this location. I guess I've always tried to avoid it because I assumed it wouldn't be good. I was thoroughly surprised to find out that I was completely wrong. I went inside and was shocked at how spacious the dining area was. It was very clean and presentable. The staff was kind, and I had no issues ordering. While I was waiting for my food, I noticed there were no straws next to the drink machine. When I asked for a straw I promptly received one and the basin for straws was immediately filled. I ordered a Mexican Pizza meal and a Chicken Sandwich. My food came out fast, had good presentation, and was hot. I really enjoyed my experience here. I'm now getting ready to move this week and I'm a bit upset I've only now taken the time to visit this place. Keep up the great work, and thank you!

The young man at the counter was very courteous. Customer service was on point. People in the back were talking more than they were working. The young man at the register had to go back and help after taking orders. Without his help we would have been in there for 30 minutes rather than 15 which is still too long. However, he did a wonderful job. Little less lil and a lil more grip in the back will help improve their serving time. Not to mention you're talking over people food. Not good. The only reason I gave 5 stars is because of the young man at the counter and because my chicken breast was finger licking good this day

KFC on Blair Road in Silver Spring, MD. The staff needs to be trained on cleanliness! The Potato Bowl(?) was not good. The chicken tasted artificial. The Nacho Fries were scrumptious - just NOT ENOUGH - cost is too high for a small amount. I hope the staff disinfect while cleaning. I saw a man dig out a KFC cup & then went to the women's bathroom. This KFC has 2 entrances. I saw a man come in the entrance, close to the street, refilled his two 7Eleven cups, and walked out. Lastly the staff needs to know about "cross-contamination. DO NOT work on the cash register & then place your hands on ANY part of the food. CASH IS DIRTY & filled with all sorts of germs!!

I was having a terrible day and KFC chicken would've been the perfect thing to lift my spirits. Drowning in depression, i mustered up the little bit of energy i had and placed an order. A short while later the Doordash driver called me and said he'd confirmed with you that the order was ready, and was waiting for over 10 minutes for you to bring it out to him in the parking lot. Unable to wait longer (due to other deliveries), he finally drove off empty-handed. Luckily i was able to get a refund from Doordash. This was your first and last opportunity to un-ruin my night and gain me as a loyal customer. What a disappointment!

I've been here twice. First time they forgot to add sauce after specifically asking for it, which isn't a big deal. Second time they forgot an entire quesadilla and the sauce again. Unfortunately I didn't notice until I got home. Probably won't be going back anytime soon. Food was fine otherwise

Yelp here we go. If you go drive-thru 110% chance they'll ask you to "pull forward" several times I've said why? The reply is we are trying to keep our drive-they times down. They literally ask you to park you car in a 4-6 box & they walk out the back door a few mins later to hand you food. Secondly they also botch my Uber delivery request & tonight they straight didn't even make my order. Screw this location !!!!!!

Please stay away from this place at all costs. Went here to get food earlier, cashier was rude and had a bad attitude for no reason and wouldn't let me make any substitutions to my side order. The food was awful, asked for dark meat and got white meat. Chicken was lukewarm and mushy, tasted like it was sitting out for a while. Deff wasn't fresh at all. Mash potatoes and coleslaw was so-so, biscuits weren't fully baked. Just shut this place down, you'll mess around and catch food poisoning trying to eat their food. These people don't care and are getting paid minimum wage to prepare your food. Just stay away...

yup i'm being one of those. i'd give 0 stars if i could. A friend and I got off work after a long day, decided that we wanted to grab a quick bite. whoever worked 7-9-23 night shift sounds like she hates her job. why sign up for a job if you're going to sound, nasty and miserable when taking peoples orders. i asked for fresh shells for my chulupas and she was like "the shells are mhm we'll see" when I got to the window I asked if they could please do fresh shells. She tells me to go ahead and pull up & They'll bring it out... when i got the food, the shells were old and stale. i didn't bother to send it back bc she already sounded so miserable , i didn't want anyone to spit in the food if they already didn't. i really don't understand people who decide to choose a fast food job but then is rude , nasty or miserable when taking an order. we weren't nasty, or difficult we were polite. all I asked for was literally fresh else. I do this or any Taco Bell that I go to and no one has a problem doing it. takes less than 3 mins to get my food each time... i work in the restaurant industry so I can understand how frustrating things can be, but you're literally dealing with fast food!

First of all when coming home from a long days work I often stop by this KFC. Everytime its 8 or 9 cars in the line. Then what ever latino male is taking the order, he is easily confused. After going back and forth a while he finally gets my order. I am about 6 cars back. After 15 mins of waiting in line of drive thru that I can't get out, there is another issue. NO POTPIE. 20 minutes later and I have to wait another 20 min. Meanwhile there is a heard of latino and african male that keep coming to look at me and laughing and talking Spanish. They are all unprofessional and management should be replaced and entire staff as well...

Before I comment on my food - I would like FIRST to say that young guy at the drive thru window was pleasant and very mannerable. I visited KFC on Blair Road today Aug 11 approx 1:50 pm and order the $5 Fill Up Box chicken strips. The first thing I noticed while ordering was the line that took too long. When I got to the window, it appeared that the staff was not ready for lunch rush hour. After getting back to my office- I noticed the chicken strips were old, cold, and very thin, the fries were cold and hard- very clear that they've been sitting for a long time, and lastly the biscuit was hard and stale. Everything about my meal was OLD. Very disappointing. I do not think that I will be back to this location for a while. I come here often, and this is the first time that this has happened. AVOID during lunch time.

On top of that they only had original recipe no grilled . When I asked how much longer I would have to wait the guy looked at me then walked away . Came here tonight to pick up dinner because my husband had been wanting kfc. I ordered myself two pieces of grilled chicken and when I got home to eat them there was a piece of metal in or one of the pieces. It almost looks like seasoning. Just want to give a heads up! I tried to call the restaurant to let them know but nobody is answering the phone.

Like an Alzheimer's patient I keep going back and expecting a different result... I am not sure why. As everyone else has said they are incredibly slow; your order is always wrong; and they are simply unfriendly. I'd like to say I'm never going back but the problem is they have a drive thru and I find it less creepy than the McDonald's in Downtown Silver Spring.

I was not greeted at the window not given a total no hello no good bye nothing no acknowledgement that I asked a question! The person working the drive threw is just there!

What a pit! I mean, I realize I'm Yelping a Taco Bell/KFC, but even compared to other fast food joints it was terrible. We get there and the drive thru line is already ridiculous, and my friend is like, "they always have a long line - let's go in." Well, the line ain't any shorter inside, and the SLOWEST people I've ever seen are behind the counter. And they're surly, to boot. Plus, the place is dirty. I mean filthy dirty. And to top it off, my food was subpar even for Taco Bell. I'm never going there again - it's way too craptastic.

When I order at a drive through, I always thank the person taking my order. I'm not really looking for a reaction or anything. I just think it's a good thing to thank people who are doing something for me. I mean, I'm going to see this person in a minute, right? So, when I thanked the guy taking my order here, he responded with "NO PROBLEM", which is okay in some scenarios--like between friends or maybe if you accidentally bump someone's car and no damage is done... but in a service that is being paid for? Then, when I was searching for something in my car and the guy had opened the window to collect my money, he called at me, "DUDE" with some level of impatience in his voice. Again, probably okay between friends or maybe if I was buying a skateboard at a shop, but not so much when I'm buying lunch! "No problem" and the exclamatory "DUDE" would have been okay if everything else was, but the guy didn't ask me if I wanted any sauce for my taco (This location is a Taco Bell / KFC together). I did want sauce, but only realized this after I had driven away. The food was what you'd expect, but the service is what makes me drive through again next time. I always vote with my wallet (and sometimes lobby for change here on Yelp;)

Customer service is much improved during lunch hours -- more polite overall, and reasonably fast for KFC customers. But woe unto anyone who orders an item from the Taco Bell side -- that still adds 5 minutes or more to any wait. The food quality remains poor, but no worse than any other KFC/Taco Bell combo store. Such stores pander to the worst common denominators in fast food, and then add kitchen bottlenecks as a bonus. Outside of lunch hours, nothing appears to have improved. Why, oh why, didn't I walk to Sweetgreen?

Full disclosure: In the past, I was most dissatisfied with this KFC and vowed never to return--but I'm glad I did. If there is a category for most improved KFC, I would vote for this establishment. Whereas once the cleanliness of the floors were questionable and the response time made you think that they relied on one slow cooker to make the food. It was awful. That has certainly changed dramatically. It's a clean place. The staff have been transformed from surly and slow, to friendly and responsive. The food comes out in a jiffy. It's an all together different place--and all for the better. Now, I would recommend this KFC. Give it a chance, or if it applies: A second chance!

The wait is longer than sitting at a restaurant. You'd think the Kernel and his Taco Bell Chihuahua are in the back battering the chicken. The staff look tired and overworked, and there isn't an answer to everyone's questions about the wait. Expect 20 minutes if you walk in the store and 30 minutes or longer if you're in the drive thru (not joking).

Please beware! Employees are extremely rude! They refuse to tell you who the supervisor is. I called to complain and the "Supervisor" Lamin was rude, claimed to be busy and abruptly hung up on me. Before I could get his name I had to call several times to get his name because he and his other employees were refusing to give me his name. The facility is filthy, and extremely slow customer service. Food is cold and sloppy. Save your time and money, not worth long wait at all.

This is the worst KFC you can ever eat at. I ordered a 5 hot wing combo and and my chicken was half done. When I went inside the restaurant the manager did not greet me with courtesy but asked me what did I want.. then I explained my chicken was half done then he asked me what I meant.. I then proceeded to show him the chicken and he snatched the bag out my hand. He asked me what I ordered and I asked for a refund. He THEN shorted me a dollar and ignored me when I asked for my receipt. I HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED this much disrespect in my life. Do not eat here! It's not worth it.

By far the worst fast-food drive thru I've been to. This place is the worst. I've been here at least 6 times (in the neighborhood) in 4 years. They are always opening late, get the order wrong or out of chicken! So today I felt like wings went there at 12pm lunch time, I'm in the drive-thru and sitting at the intercom for 3 minutes before she takes my order there was only one person in front of me, I ask for 10 hot wings she says there is a 9 minute wait! This is the most ridicules thing I've heard it's lunch time at a chicken place that's not crowded! I told her never mind and backed out. I'm never going back again the service is just disgraceful.

It took over 15 minutes to complete an order with only 2 customers ahead of me. It's a pity that a KFC Taco Bell can't get it right to please vegetarian and omnivore customers promptly in the same place

terrible terrible service! just today i was there and a man in front of me KINDLY ordered for 2 quesadillas. his bill was higher than expected so he corrected the cashier. the cashier gave him an attitude and was not apologetic at all. the man cancelled his order and complained but issue was not resolved. the manager did not even talk to the cashier involved. another guy ordered the baja blast and was asked AGAIN before she filled up the drink but still got the order wrong. the ladies waiting for their ordera also complained about how they got their orders wrong. thats 3 complaints in a day.i wasnt even there for an hour. the place is not clean. and obviously they have no rapport with their customers. in all fairness to the other employees. i saw one or two of them that tried to cater to the customers need. there are not a lot of kfc's left around MD/DC. i hope they do something about their service. i love the food but with the kind of service that the have i might not come back again.oh on top of that. i have been waiting for a good 20mins and followed up on my order. they said "what happened to your order its not in the system" i mean im never really coming back.

Let me first say that I love taco bell and I live near this one which is why every once and awhile I make the mistake of going back to this one. The drive through takes forever, they rarely get the order right and the food is always sloppy and badly put together. I make myself angry every single time I make the mistake of going back to this taco bell.

KFC / Taco Bell (MD/DC State line) Absolutely the worst! The drive-in line is always long (as in, it seems to take a very long time for them to service each car in it). How long should it take to say the order, pull up to the window and get your food? TOO LONG at this location! More often than not, I have had to pull into (back into) the little one-car waiting area at the end of the line and wait. My order is NEVER complicated so whats the deal with that? I've had to stop going here and have reported them to the Maryland Dept of Health. (Yes, it is in Maryland literally by inches - but I think the drive through line is in DC). They were reported because the last three times I ordered Taco's there, the food was SO greasy, that it actually leaked through the wrapping and into the bag, staining my jacket on the final occasion. The taco's also had a strange, burnt smell about them and the meat almost seemed charred while dripping with grease. I choked down one but was unable to continue and ended up throwing the rest away. I did feel very ill and nauseated later that evening and into the next day. As I said, the taco's were like that on the previous other two visits as well but not nearly as bad as the final visit. Oh, and don't dare ask for any extra sauces after getting your order. Attempting to request this is nearly impossible to do after the little window closes and occasionally the cashier immediately forgets who you are and looks at you like your the next customer. It confuses them greatly. Stay away from this place until they straighten out their act!!!

The absolute worst Taco Bell I've ever been to ever, and I've been to many taco bells in many states. The select few employees that are willing to make a transaction quick and easy don't make up for how bad things are here. I feel for people who work in service. It's not easy and the customer is not always right, but some of the employees here can't even take what would be a simple order at any other Taco Bell without snapping at or arguing with customers. Asking if you can add potatoes and guac to a bean burrito should not send you into a fit of rage. They can't even seem to keep from arguing with each other behind the counter. Then there's the drive through. I come here frequently and I have never gotten through the drive through in less than 20 minutes. Again, I want to be empathetic towards the people working here, but something has to change.

This location needs to shut down completely. Waited in the drive thru for about 15 mins before I could place my order and when I finally did, the food was pretty much cold. You don't give anybody cold food... Not even warm, talk less of the fact that it's chicken. I wasn't about to go back and wait for the next 5 cars to order before getting a chance to vent or return the food or whatever options I had but I know I will definitely not be returning to this location again.
