First time time tried kfc in Japan, ordered family box. Chicken is juicy and flavorful, thicker fries than US’s. Especial like the shrimp strips. 2nd floor sitting area is clean and spacious. Enough charging plus available.

This KFC branch is clean, efficient, and surprisingly spacious upstairs, with charger ports and a relaxed vibe that’s rare for fast food in busy areas. The Tsukimi burger is a fun seasonal twist, and the staff are polite and responsive. The upstairs seating area is a nice touch — quiet enough to recharge, and often less crowded than expected. That said, food quality can be hit or miss. Fries sometimes arrive lukewarm, and the chicken can lean oily depending on the time of day. On one visit, I had to flag a hygiene issue with a fried item, which staff handled professionally and without fuss. It’s not a standout location, but it serves its purpose. If you’re nearby and need a quick bite or a place to sit for a bit, it’s fine — just don’t expect anything beyond the usual.

Their set does not come with drinks. And when you order the drink separately at a much higher cost, they don’t fill it to the brim.

Get the chicken burger abundant combo, it’s great! Also always get Fanta Melon soda! Large size is the same as American medium size.

Prices here are higher than usual, and the chicken we received was soggy. When we mentioned it to the staff, they just shrugged and didn’t offer any help or apology. Overall, a disappointing experience — we won’t be coming back. Sides were also strangely textured…

As previews reviews stated, overpriced. Chicken was soggy not crispy at all and way too salty Drinks are filled mid way with alot of ice and barely any actual drink. We dined in and upstairs was extremely hot almost to the point where they want to make people uncomfortable so they dont stay long. If you're here from the u.s steer clear and go try some local food instead. it was a complete waste of money.

The combo set doesnt come with drinks, so you have to order that separately and then they dont fill it to the top either. The chicken also wasn't crispy, it was like soggy fried skin and really oily. Not a fan at all. Their lemonade also tasted horrible and when I asked to switch it, they made me show my suica card even though I paid with a credit card and had the receipt in my hand? Then they had to get approval to switch my nasty drink. Do not recommend.

I am from USA California and I was curious about what KFC in Japan would like, so I ordered takeout. It was just an average chicken and It wasn't bad. But, I think I like American KFC more than Japanese one... Sorry...

After strolling around Akihabara for a few hours, we were in need of food. We decided to try out what KFC is like in Tokyo and compare it to our experience in NYC. No surprise here, it exceeded our expectations! Don't be fooled by the small storefront downstairs. There's plenty of seating upstairs. The menu is also full of pictures in case you have any trouble picking out what you want. We got two pieces of fried chicken, two pieces of the spicy chicken, and wedges. This also came with a drink. I love that they serve the chicken with special napkins that absorb the grease and keep it off of your fingers. The fried chicken was on par with what you'd get in the states. Perhaps a little less salty but still greasy, indulgent, and satisfying. The spicy chicken were cutlets breaded in cornflakes. This made for a nice crunch on the outside but the chicken itself wasn't really spicy at all. I did like this less-greasy alternative, though. The real curveball was the biscuits. These were a flakier, Pillsbury-Grands style than the traditional KFC biscuit. They also serve it with honey which is delicious for dipping the chicken in, too. Potato wedges were a hit. KFC holds up in Tokyo and adds it's own unique flair! We went back at least once more during our trip. The dining area upstairs is also very clean.

Yes, we ate at KFC and it was good. Only ate one piece of chicken and one biscuit, but both were great and would make the colonel proud. The biscuit is a little different from the U.S. counterpart as it has a giant hole in the middle of it and tastes completely different. It's much more sweet. I do prefer the U.S. version, but this one was still mighty good. Chicken pretty much tasted the same. Yes, folks, KFC is finger licking good.

People go to KFC because it's cheap, low quality food, all the while knowing that the food is filled with every version of MSG known to man. MSG is a neuro toxin and is particularly bad for people with asthma. KFC is part of the PepsiCo owned Yum Brands. This KFC happily served me well prepared but very bad tasting food. This was no fault of the staff as all KFC food is disgusting and full of meat from companies that treat their animals quite inhumanely (as in no ability to move in their cages, pumped full of hormones and no ability to ever see sunlight). KFC, just like the rest of the Yum Brands, are ran by subhumans with a contempt for all living creatures.
