I got a wrap and it was really great!! I was so surprised at how much I liked it. If I could eat more I would have finished the whole thing. My bf ordered chicken tikka and it was surprisingly good as well!! It has a strong orange flavor, like zesty but it was really good. The bread is so so soft and delicious too! We will definitely be back. The atmosphere is lacking a little bit it’s a nice little hole in the wall/mom and pop spot.

We love this place. Service is great. They are very humble and kind when they take order. Gives 100% attention. Food takes time to come. Not sure why actually. However the wait is worth it. Food is good and yummy. Naan is the all time best. Over the years it has not changed. Biriyani is good but has become dry. We love the chapli kabab and chicken chargha. Customer service is great. They come and check on their customers. The place is also clean. Bathroom is clean too.

Have had their food at party caterings but not otherwise so decided to visit the restaurant. Seating is very ordinary no frills kind which is fine i had an idea about that. We ordered goat karhai, goat pulao, chapli kabab and kheer. Pulao was good but didnt have the option to make it spicy. Karhai was very average in my opinion. Chapli was dry and nothing so special about it. All in all i think their catering food is better. Service was decent but slow.

Google
Food is awesome. There hasn’t been anything that I didn’t like. Prices are very reasonable and staff is amazing. This place truly deserves a 10 star ratings

Google
WOW! This place doesn’t look like much, but the food is genuinely delicious, and plentiful for the price, and the staff were so friendly and nice! The restaurant itself is pretty bare, but it’s clean, and the food was just so good we didn’t notice after a while! And I just have to reiterate again how nice the staff was. I don’t know if they were the owners or what, but they talked and laughed with us like we were their neighbors and their friends, and it made our experience there so pleasant, above and beyond the great food! We will definitely be returning; not just for the great food, but for the great people who make it!

Google
The reservation guy was very friendly and helpful with me, the food portion is pretty good for Arabic people as it is satisfying and at the end they gave me a bottle of water and rice pudding for free.

Google
Amazingly friendly staff and huge portions for the price. There is a minimum wait time if 20 min, but it's worth the wait. The staff is very attentive that you enjoy the food and will advise you if the food is too spicy and will give you yogurt just in case. This isn't a fancy looking restaurant but I prefer that over a fancy place with average food.

Google
Don’t know if I just went on a bad day or ordered the wrong thing but I just did not enjoy the meal I got from here. For context, I got the chicken boti and some naan. The naan was amazing and slapped! The chicken tho? It felt so dry when I had my first bite and the flavor just wasn’t there? Like it was super lightly marinated or just not for long enough cuz I had to add my own emergency masalas to make it taste better :/ I was so hungry too, the disappointment 😭 Hope that was just a one time thing tho!

Yelp
WOW! This place doesn't look like much, but the food is incredible, really cheap, and the staff are so friendly and kind and lovely! The actual restaurant is pretty bare, but it's clean, and the food was so good we didn't notice! And again, I just have to reiterate how lovely the people were. They really talked to us and treated us like neighbors and friends, which made our time there so pleasant and full of laughs! We will definitely be coming back here; not just for the food, but for the people who make it!

Yelp
This was our first time eating at this restaurant Food was DELICIOUS!! We ordered butter chicken and chicken Briyanni The manager Ali was very nice and made us feel very comfortable and welcomed This place is only 12 mins from our home and worth the small drive for excellent food and customer service We will definitely be back!! Thank you Khan BBQ

Yelp
Drove past this place one day and it looked so secluded and like a hole in the wall so I wanted to check it out. Immediately upon walking in we were greeted and asked how we prefer our spice level. When I said No heat or very mild, he started to suggest certain dishes. Needless to say, as someone who doesn't enjoy spicy foods, I got nervous! The owner/server (?) was so helpful in discussing how they could adjust the heat level to my taste. I ordered the beef chapli knowing that it would have a kick, but I just really wanted to try it. Great flavor but definitely utilized the delicious yogurt and fluffy naan to enjoy it more. Both beef and chicken kabab were so tender it was amazing. Even though they only had regular naan, it was probably some of the best I've had. The tikka masala had a little different flavor, but was very enjoyable. Definitely a hidden gem!

Yelp
If you like spicy food this is the place for you. My prefer spice level is mild, not much more than that lol The food was super flavorful and it hit the spice craving of the day. The beef chapli kebab had more of a kick than I would like but eating that with the Nan and yogurt toned it down. The chicken tikka masala was great and the nan was super fresh. The host was very friendly and explained the menu since we knew a lot of it would be spicy. Overall the food was really good and topped it all off with the mango lassi, I could drink 5 gallons of it. Delicious! ... It's more of a take out place but you can still dine in if you don't care about the ambiance.

Yelp
Loved this place! I was craving some Indian food, but I wanted a place near cypress, and this place did not disappoint. First, service was great! The owner was very welcoming and friendly. I ordered takeout, but inside the restaurant is nothing fancy, just simple booth seats. I got tikka masala, butter chicken, Nihari, and Chicken Biryani! Butter chicken and masala were normal, but the nihari and chicken biryani were too class! Definitely recommend! And the prices are very affordable!

Yelp
Good food and service Nice people We place orders to go and they are always nice taking orders and when come to pick up they remember our names and the time we've been customers. Very appreciative people!

Yelp
Surprisingly delicious. Place gave me some weird vibes at first, not the best looking place lol let's just say you won't go here for the ambiance. The day we went the health inspector was on site but I think at the end he ended up ordering some food to go which is a good sign I guess. I tried the butter chicken and the chapli Kabab and both were . Super yummy. Also tried some naan and it was good too. Wasn't super crazy expensive but just about how much I thought it would be. Def will come back when I'm in the area.

Fawnzyful ..

Yelp
Came for Goat pilau, taste was good but the rice to meat ratio was disappointing. Plus the charge for yoghurt is excessive

Yelp
My husband and I tried this place for the first time. We had the Goat Karahi and Chicken Pulao. The portions are incredible. The employees were very friendly and chatted with us as we waited on our food. We felt very welcome here. The naan is spectacular. Food amazing. Highly recommend; we will definitely be back soon!!!

Yelp
2nd trip for Indian/Pakistani food. The food was just as good as the 1st time nine months ago. We would have gone sooner, but travel and school got in the way. My daughter ordered paneer masala, and my wife and I added beef chapli kebab, chicken biryani, four naan, and two rice puddings. We ordered by phone and went to pick it up. Everything was ready 1/2 hour after our call and piping hot after we got back home and delicious. This time I made sure to get photos before we dug in. If you like Indian/Pakistani food locally and family business, this is the place to get authentic, homemade style, full of flavor food.

Farhan K.

Yelp
Amazing mutton rice pulao , the best is their naan so fresh and soft. The icing on top was complementary tea which was way above my expectations. I went for lunch and felt refreshed after the meal. Will definitely visit again soon
google avatar

Yelp
My family orders from Khan's almost a monthly basis - a large order - and they always have the food ready on time and it's still piping hot when you arrive home. We're talking: half trays of haleem, chicken karahi, chicken biryani, saag paneer, naan, and paratha usually round out the order... it can feed 15-20+ people. The order is correct, too! Food is on the spicy side, even for my family; you can ask if they can make it less spicy, but it's oftentimes still hot for some members of the fam. The family that owns and runs this restaurant are really good people and provide great service. They'll help you load up your car. And they seem to know a lot of their customers. Right now, due to the pandemic, this restaurant is offering takeout only. It's best to call in your order ahead of time.

Yelp
Amazing fresh food on a consistent basis! This hidden gem is a family run low key restaurant that caters to everyone. Its fresh so theres usually a wait for atleast 30 minutes and they recommend calling ahead of time. Ive suggested they open more locations but they wont as they want to keep it all in the family at one location with their secret recipes. I suppose till then its a long drive for authentic food and its well worth their low prices that covers the gas!

Yelp
Best biryani! Excellent service and tasty food. I recommend only getting biryani in weekend and earlier in the day.

Yelp
Khan BBQ and grill is located right down the street from me and they are a good fix for dinner if I have nothing cooked in the house. One of their specialty that they are known for is the Chapli Kabob. I usually order this item as it cannot be replicated for home cooking. It is a nice portion of ground beef mixed with specific spices and seasoning and the end result is a nice flattened patty bursting with flavor and chopped up onions with lemon. Another item that I got which is also very popular is the chicken biryani. While it is spicy, they do have enough meat in the dish making it a fair meat to rice ratio. The serving is a pretty good size also. They also serve yogurt with rice and that can help reduce the flaming tingling from the spices. Hands-down, they have the best naan in the city. Always order one. It is so delicious, warm and tender. I did notice that they require a $10 purchase for using a credit card and that if paying by cash, then there is a sales tax discount.

Yelp
It was so delicious!!! Meat was super juicy and not dry at all. Definitely going back!!

Yelp
Great service. The staff helped me know what to order since it was my first time here. The food was amazing. Generous portions and great tasting!

Yelp
Read reviews n went to try out their food. I was there as soon as they opened for the day. Ordered nihari, kadhai gosht, beef Haleem, naam, Lassi n chai. My entire order was on the table within 15 minutes, including the to go to order. Everything was perfect to the "T" - the good as well as their customer service. Definitely coming here whenever I visit Houston again.

Yelp
I found this little gem a while back and have been wanting to try it out after seeing all of the positive reviews. This place is literally right down the street and around the corner and I have never been here! If you want to go to a fancy Indian restaurant this is not your place. They give you paper plates and plastic forks when you dine in. HOWEVER.. While it may not be the fanciest... The food that is served is spot on! (with affordable prices) **One of the 1st things I noticed-people ordering take out here.(Good sign) Right when you walk in you can smell all of the different fresh Indian spices coming from the kitchen. One of the managers served us a free mango smoothie while we waited for our food to come out fresh.. super tasty and everyone was very nice. I ordered the chicken tikka masala and my dad ordered the curry with goat. We also ordered a side of their chicken rice.. SPICY! Since my mom doesn't deal well with spicy she ordered the chicken kabob plate. Chicken tikka Masala had an amazing flavor. Although I noticed how greasy the plate was from the masala sauce.. You can't take away how the flavors were intense and spicy! My dad LOVED his dish. Unfortunately my mom thought the chicken kabob was super dry.. I tasted the chicken and it wasn't the best chicken. Overall I would definitely come back to pick up a plate food on the run! Very affordable! ***4 stars for flavor, price and customer service!!

Yelp
Was visiting and we were craving Indian food and found this spot. We ordered the butter chicken, chicken biryani, and naan. It was all very delicious and the owner was so kind to us. If you're in Katy and looking for good Indian food definitely check this place out!

Yelp
Place is not fancy, but the food is awesome in both value and taste. This is one of the few places that we would return to over and over again. However, be prepared for a long wait for your food to be prepared. If memory serves me correctly, we're talking possibly about 30+ minutes even when the place is relatively empty. A tip here would be to come relatively early, e.g. 6-7 pm. Most of their regular clientele appear to come late, say 8 pm onward. I just wish they would provide free water like most places instead of having to pay for plastic water bottles...

Carissa L.

Yelp
I absolutely love the food here. My absolute favorite is the butter chicken with naan and the rice pudding. My family and I eat it up, and the man who is the owner is so sweet and accommodating!
google avatar

Yelp
The customer service here is phenomenal. I didn't order ahead so the wait was 20-30 mins. While I was waiting I was starving and asked if I could have my naan bread while waiting. The employee gave me naan bread with butter and yogurt sauce on the house. He even offered me a free drink. Due to Covid-19, they are only offering take out so I would recommend ordering ahead. I ordered: chicken biryani rice & naan bread, chicken tiki masala & goat karahi, paneer masala. My favorites were the naan bread and paneer masala! The naan bread is fresh and only $1 each. I gave 4 stars because the chicken was a little dry but everything was well seasoned and delicious. I would recommend this place.

Rashan D.

Yelp
In the span of one week I've already been here twice. I have had the Butter chicken, Chapli kabob paratha roll, goat pullao, Nihari, Daal, Chicken Chargha, Chapli Kabob, Sweet Lassi, and Kheer. My favorites so far are the Chicken Chargha (some of the best I've ever had), Chapli Kabob, Nihari, Sweet Lassi and Kheer. I highly recommend all of those. They also have some of the best Butter Naan I've ever had, it's different/better then the Naan you get from other places. Khan BBQ & Grill tastes a bit different than the generic Pakistani/Indian restaurants most people are used to so keep that in mind. This is a mom & pop style place which serves some amazing food that tastes homemade. Their Sweet Lassi & Kheer are perfect, just the right amount of sweetness without being overly sweet. I don't usually like Kheer but I love the Kheer at Khan BBQ. I've only scratched the surface when it comes to trying the food here and can't wait to try the Chicken Tikka and some of the other dishes. I highly recommend you try this place out.

Yelp
Phenomenal Chicken Karahi! This is one of the BEST dishes I have ever had. High level of spice, so be ready, but not too much spice that it's intolerable; the perfect amount. Order ahead of time as it takes about 30min for to-go orders.

AR K.

Yelp
A small , family owned and simple spot in corner of Houston. Service is good and prices are reasonable. love the way , they cook . Pro Tip: order ahead.. they take tiiiime to get your ready..

Yelp
I have a confession. I was going to give them just 1 star. It took the food so long to get out, I was getting up to leave and was writing a bad review (see draft below), when the food just happened to come out. And the smell of that spicy, savory, amazing sauce just went up my nose and melted that icy heart of mine. I tried to get out but it just pulled me back in. And it was so good. I had to stuff it down fast, and it burned the roof of my mouth but it was worth it. I'm glad that I had the opportunity to eat here. There is a tear drop rolling down my cheek as I'm writing this, and I'm listening to BoyzIIMen and Mariah Carey "one sweet day". (1 star off because environment duh, cut out that styrofoam and bottled water and get a water filtration system. It'll save you money in the long run. Interesting fact, drinking filtered water is better because you don't get micro plastic particles down your pipes and it's good for the environment.) Draft bad review: "Wow! 40 minutes to get my food. I arrived at 11:05 just after opening. It took until 11:45 to get my food. Do not stop in here if you're on a work break or in any sort of hurry. Do not stop in here if you want quick service. And they also use a lot of plastics and foam. Do not stop here if you want to support the environm"

Victoria P.

Yelp
Really good food. Very welcoming people. Definitely coming again with the whole family next time. We got 4 different plates and all of them were great! The naan was amazing and I would recommend the mango shake as well.
google avatar

Yelp
The food is swimming in oil. I asked if I could have replaced and was denied. Definitely some folks take but a bit gross for me.
google avatar

Jibran K.

Yelp
Absolutely loved this hole in the wall. Came here with the whole family. The goat polao is fantastic. Very nostalgic taste for me. Tastes like mom's cooking. Parking is plenty. Attentive service. The chicken karahi was meh, a bit on the oily side for our taste. The owner came to our table to check on us. The kheer sweet was very good! Pretty far from where we live, but I will make the drive for their goat polao for sure.
google avatar

Yelp
Consistent and great quality. Goat pulao and Charga are staple of this restaurant.. unmatched hospitality. Dont let looks fool you is what I will say, try once and you get hooked!

Yelp
Awesome food and very hospitable and humble staff. Must try if you have a pallet for authentic North Indian bbq

Yelp
Hands down my favorite spot for dal!! The flavors in every dish's are absolutely amazing! The rice pudding is my favorite dessert and I definitely recommend it. The service is always kind and extremely helpful. If you're new to this type of cuisine I would highly recommend this spot as your first try. Closed on Monday so just keep that in mind, but definitely a flavorful experience every time!

Yelp
I'll admit I was a bit skeptical about this place, having driven by a few times since my friend lives close by. From the exterior, it certainly doesn't look like much. However, swayed by the large amount of positive reviews, I suggested it for dinner one night, and we ventured to this unassuming little Pakistani restaurant. As for the interior, it's pretty bare and functional. Most of the tables are pretty long and able to seat large families. It badly needs a makeover. You order at the counter, but you don't pay until the end of your meal. Beverages are offered in the can or if you want water, the bottled kind is available. The entrees are pretty fairly priced. It doesn't come with naan or rice included. Those are add-ons. There were a few people waiting for their food orders to-go, which was not surprising given the ambiance. We ordered the Tikka Chicken Masala and the Karahi Chicken along with two sides of naan. We didn't have to wait long before two large bowls of beautiful food were brought out to us along with some fluffy giant naan and a bowl of the yogurt based raita! The Tikka Chicken Masala was seriously some of the best I have had. The tomato component wasn't overpowering, which is the way I like it! The Karahi Chicken was also very delicious with a hint of spice. There was quite a bit of oil in the dish, as many have noted, but it wasn't a problem for me. The naan, oh man, this was some tasty goodness, again, probably some of the best I have ever had. We had plenty of leftovers between the two of us as the portions were good. When we were nearing the end of our meal, a plate of sliced fruits and dates were brought out as a complimentary dessert since it was Ramadan. We were also offered some rose flavored drink as well which was refreshing and fragrant. Service was nice and friendly. All in all, fabulous meal! I recommend ordering to go though!

Kevin A.

Yelp
Amazing service. Ali gave excellent recommendations for food and provided a welcoming experience. Chicken Karahi and Goat pulao were banger dishes that provided spice and flavors I've never even tasted before. Coming here was more than an experience it was a journey. Authentic Pakistani place. Hidden gem.

Amin A.

Yelp
By far, the best nihari and goat pulao in this part of town, nay in all of Houston (yeah, it's *that* good!!) The establishment is well-kept and the service is top notch. Not sure why anyone would want to go anywhere else. The firni (kheer) and zarda also rates pretty high in the dessert category. I'm contemplating remarrying over and over again just to have these guys cater

Farhan H.

Yelp
Good reasonable place with quality food. The Chicken Chargha snd the Rice Pulao are quite famous here and probably they have the best nan available in houston.

Aron S.

Yelp
Great food. Extradinariky friendly service. They can sometimes take a while but it is worth it. I have a lot of affection for this place and the people there.
google avatar

Jackie T.

Yelp
Food was amazing. The owners are sweet beyond imaginable. We ordered tikki masala, palak paneer, naan and rice. Everything was great. Portions are huge and price is great. The epitome of a mom and pop shop. It was so busy even at closing on a weekday. It's our first time, so I'm not sure if that is usually how it is, but either way, it's a great sign that food is great.
google avatar

Germaine Z.

Yelp
This is probably best Pakistani food in Houston. The food is wonderfully flavorful and the naan bread is to die for! So good! My friend and I danced the happy dance while eating our meals, and sung "mmmmh" over and over. so good was it! Can just recommend it!!!! The staff where extremely nice and accommodating! Love it

Yelp
I was craving Indian food and this place popped up on my Yelp feed. A Paki Indo restaurant just like another place I've been to near sugar Land. From seeing the reviews about the butter chicken and everything else, I was excited to order! because I left work very late, I ordered for pickup and the staff just started on my meal when I got there. I was waiting from 15 to 25 minutes, when I called ahead 15 minutes before I got there. It was really inconvenient for me to wait that long. The butter chicken was not butter chicken. It tasted like a cream sauce with some spices, very bland, chicken was dry, it was not butter chicken. The naan was soft, also very bland. The rice was just rice. Not quite sure what everyone was talking about. The reviews really had me blindsided for what I really had imagined. I am so sad that this place was such a fail, it is really right around the corner from me. I guess I'll have to venture out to get some really good Indian food.
google avatar

Conrad F.

Yelp
As someone who has been looking for a non-vegetarian Indian place for years, I think I have finally found my spot. I ordered 2 chicken biryani, 1 goat curry, and 2 naan to go and was not disappointed with anything. The serving sizes were massive and the prices more than reasonable. The biryani was some of the best I had in Houston, and the naan were big and fluffy. But the goat curry was the star - incredibly spicy but tasted so good I ended up using my naan to make sure I got every last drop of it. The food here is sublime. The staff are incredibly nice, and although the place isn't the best looking from the outside, if you order to go, this isn't an issue!
google avatar

Renee P.

Yelp
Everything super tasty. Have ordered multiple times throughout the years. Fast, friendly service.
google avatar

Mimi W.

Yelp
I waited 45 minutes for a take out order. The food smelled great and was average. The naan is the best plain naan I have ever tasted. It is fluffy and soft. They told me they ran out of rice after 35 minutes of waiting. I was disappointed because I love rice. The food is very oily. Getting to this place is hard. If you are traveling west, you have to do a turn around.
google avatar

Elaine S.

Yelp
This place is our family's favorite for Indian cuisine. Anything you order here will be perfect in taste. I highly recommend. The disadvantage for us is that it is 40 minutes away from our home. Go try it out and you will not regret the drive or eating the food.
