Yelp
I'll admit I was a bit skeptical about this place, having driven by a few times since my friend lives close by. From the exterior, it certainly doesn't look like much. However, swayed by the large amount of positive reviews, I suggested it for dinner one night, and we ventured to this unassuming little Pakistani restaurant.
As for the interior, it's pretty bare and functional. Most of the tables are pretty long and able to seat large families. It badly needs a makeover.
You order at the counter, but you don't pay until the end of your meal. Beverages are offered in the can or if you want water, the bottled kind is available. The entrees are pretty fairly priced. It doesn't come with naan or rice included. Those are add-ons. There were a few people waiting for their food orders to-go, which was not surprising given the ambiance.
We ordered the Tikka Chicken Masala and the Karahi Chicken along with two sides of naan.
We didn't have to wait long before two large bowls of beautiful food were brought out to us along with some fluffy giant naan and a bowl of the yogurt based raita! The Tikka Chicken Masala was seriously some of the best I have had. The tomato component wasn't overpowering, which is the way I like it! The Karahi Chicken was also very delicious with a hint of spice. There was quite a bit of oil in the dish, as many have noted, but it wasn't a problem for me. The naan, oh man, this was some tasty goodness, again, probably some of the best I have ever had. We had plenty of leftovers between the two of us as the portions were good.
When we were nearing the end of our meal, a plate of sliced fruits and dates were brought out as a complimentary dessert since it was Ramadan. We were also offered some rose flavored drink as well which was refreshing and fragrant.
Service was nice and friendly.
All in all, fabulous meal! I recommend ordering to go though!
