Khao So-i

Amazing Thai food and a wonderful experience. I have been eating at this restaurant since their very first branch in Chiang Mai, then in Bangkok, and now here in London. Personally, I still prefer the taste in Thailand, but this London branch does an excellent job and stays very true to authentic Thai flavors. The food, atmosphere, and overall experience were all impressive. My foreign partner’s family absolutely loved both the restaurant’s ambiance and the dishes. We were all very satisfied and would highly recommend it.

Warm service and spicy food! A friend and I were lucky enough to grab two seat seats at the chefs counter last night at Khao So-i and had a great experience. This place is legit-the ingredients, the table settings, so much is brought in directly from Thailand. Service was attentive and took the time to explain the menu concept to us-yummy starters to share and then big bowls of Khao So-I noodles for mains. We did fermented pork and grilled pork belly to start. Our bowls were a mixed pork one (thin sliced meat was insanely good) and the ox cheek. Everything was super flavorful and satisfyingly spicy in the way you want from authentic Thai dishes. Cocktail program was great as well-lovely twists on classics. Chang Mai Highball and their take on an Old Fashioned were highlights for me. Will be back soon!

Epic meal. I was unsure of the standard of the food prior to visiting by boy, it did not disappoint. As soon as you walk in you are hit with the waft of spices, deep savoury coconut broth and the grilling of meat and seafood. The flavour and spices of khao soi was unadulterated and hits fully. Rich, savoury, spicy, mouthwatering. Perfectly cooked toppings of ox cheek and scallops. What wins me over is the attention to detail and love put into this. Coconut milk on the side if it's too spicy, chilli of it's not enough. The toppings provided is like a choose your own adventure in every bite. 10/10 service, Phyu was fun, engaging and had great recommendations which we gobbled up. Special shout out to the nam prik noom. Could eat this every day. Looking forward to coming back.

Absolutely loved Khao Soi!! The flavours of the food made me feel at home, and a special shoutout to Ivan who was our waiter for the night. He was super friendly and attentive, and also gave us recommendations from the menu which we ended up loving!! This was my second time back, and the only negative thing I have to say is that it seems they have reduced the amount of broth given per bowl, which was honestly not enough compared to the noodles ratio.

I enjoyed my dining experience with Khao So-i. I love the atmosphere of the place. My friend and I got the counter seats, I highly recommend! The ‘Moo Toon’ khao soi was full of flavour, insanely delicious. Definitely get the ‘Pla Som’ and the ‘Moo Ping’ for sides, I was mind blown by the taste. Lastly, the desserts. Absolutely speechless. The ‘Bai Toey’ ice cream with brioche was the best thing I have ever tasted. The ‘Cha Thai’ cheesecake tasted just like a thai milk tea, so yum. All our orders came out perfectly and were very well presented. Amazing customer service from Ivan, who made sure our dining experience was immaculate by being extra attentive. Special thanks to the manager, aunty Bonnie, who was very friendly and welcoming. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect! Was super excited when Khao So I opened, and it did not fail expectations. The food is properly delicious, bold, comforting, and really authentic to what you’d get in Thailand. Every item in the menu is a must-try, and the noodles themselves are presented so beautifully. It's properly spicy but also I slurped up every bit of the gravy. The desserts deserve their own mention, especially the pandan-ice cream brioche. We were definitely fighting over it, and I’d go back just for that alone!

OMG!!! Never disappointed. I took the train from Bristol to London just to try my all-time favourite food — Khao Soi, a traditional Northern Thai dish from Chiang Mai. They serve it here in London, and the restaurant originally started in Chiang Mai, although I never got the chance to try it there. Now I finally get to experience this incredible food along with great service. We were lucky to meet HC — he’s absolutely lovely and let us try Nam Prik Noom with pork crackling, both made from scratch. Superb and highly recommended! I also ordered Jin Som (fermented pork with eggs). It’s very traditional, and it instantly made me miss Chiang Mai. I can’t wait to go back and try Larb Dib next time.

Very good experience. The Moo Ping has a tender texture matching with fried onion egg York which add it an extra layer of smoothly touch. The Chicken thigh is nicely cooked. Juicy and perfect tenderness. The service is amazing we are warmly welcomed by Jay. He introduced every dishes to us. Must give him a give 5 star. Defo gonna come back!
