First time to this new restaurant. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully balanced. We tried the thali, and everything was delicious, especially the feature to choose your own Curries, Soup etc. The flavors were authentic without being overwhelming, and the vegetarian options were excellent. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was clean and comfortable — perfect for a relaxed meal in traditional style. Portions were generous and the quality for the price was great. We’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this spot to anyone looking for great Indian food in the area!

Some of the best Thali I’ve had period. Our server was very wonderful and kind to us. She went above and beyond to cater to my family. Get the Punjabi thali, I got it with paneer and black lentils. Everything we had here was fresh and delicious. Chai masala was also amazing. Will definitely be back

When was the last time a buffet blew your mind ? For me it was today, comming from NYC I have a snobbish attitude to Indian food outside NYC( as we have so many varieties) but this place proved me wrong !! Hands down one of the best Gujrathi buffets I have had in the US and a very loving and amazing staff at the restaurant - if you are in Orlando - you have to hit up this place ! Ps; special mention to the clean restrooms - a rarity at most Indian restaurants !!

If you're looking for a Pure vegetarian restaurant with Gujarati & North Indian food-especially snacks and a lunch buffet (11:30 AM-3:00 PM)-this is the place to go. The service is super fast, and the food is tasty, flavorful, and fresh. They also have a great selection of grab-and-go snacks, sweets, Tea and Paan, which is a nice bonus. Honestly, the reviews already say it all, so I won't overexplain. If you're in the Orlando area, I'd recommend visiting Khasiyat first, and then Aashirwad Indian Food & Bar second.

Mitesh was wonderful to work with — he responded quickly to every question, made great suggestions, and went above and beyond to accommodate all our requests. He even helped us add last-minute dessert shooters, which turned out amazing and were a huge hit with everyone! Everything was handled so smoothly, and our guests couldn’t stop complimenting the food. Highly recommend Khasiyat for any event!

The only true, all-veg. authentic Gujarati food restaurant in Florida. All foods are prepared fresh daily in a super clean kitchen. The menu has great varieties and very good. Highly recommended.

Excellent food. Great service. The thali was amazing. So were the different dishes. We ordered so much food. It was a total of 13 of us and we ordered practically the entire menu. I highly recommend this place.

My favorite Indian lunch buffet, vegetarian or otherwise! As usual, I mostly have no idea what I'm eating, but I have some of every item offered, and as always, every bite is scrumptious! Omigod, so good! Cannot recommend highly enough! Always a great variety of flavors, some savory, some sweet, some bright, some hot (my sinuses are clearing nicely) but not too hot. This is unlike some I've been to, usually south Indian, where everything tastes sort of the same, and often rather muddy. They're never very busy at lunch, their unpretentious Lancaster/SOBT location could be better I suppose, but there's a reason for that: a lot of their business is catering and the bakery - and the bread is absolutely to die for! I've seen them doing cooking classes/demonstrations when the kitchen door swings open. The kitchen is HUGE, the dining room rather cozy. But the food! Omigod the food! I swear every time I'm going to keep it down to a reasonable amount, but it's so good, I always eat so much you need a wheelbarrow to get me outta there! They don't close down between lunch and dinner. Try them! You'll be swooning like me, I promise!

The staff wasn't the best especially the rowdy young man,ambiance was fair to fine and food was tasty...will definitely recommend them as I feel they need to improve some things.Suggestion:Please place trash can at front please

Khasiyat is one of the most popular restaurants for catering of Indian food for Indian weddings. We were impressed with the food they served at a recent wedding and we decided to try out their restaurant. The restaurant itself is located in OBT (orange blossom trail) in a not so great area. There's limited parking and when walking inside, it's just a basic space no decorations or anything fancy. Simple chairs and tables as well. We went on a Saturday and they had a buffet from 11:30-2:30. The cost is $16.99 per person. Also, when you enter the restaurant you can seat yourself and then the attendant will ask you if you want roti or puri. After picking your selection, you can then go to the buffet. The plates are disposable paper plates as well as the utensils. Please note the buffet is not a huge spread but they have unique offerings of gujurati cuisine such as rice, daal, appetizer, 2 or 3 curries as well as 2 types of desserts. The food itself was excellent and fresh! The roti and puri were hot and seemed like it was just made. I enjoyed the paneer masala as well as the desserts (mango shrikhand) which is like a pudding. Their food isn't overly spicy and not oily. It's the right amount of flavor. When you are done with your meal, you will need to dispose of your trash and even water is self serve. You can also then head to register to pay for your meal. If you are looking for a fancy restaurant, this is not the spot to go but if you are looking for simple high quality gujurati or vegetarian cuisine, do come here but come around opening time since there is ample parking.

One of our favs for Indian Gujarati Vegetarian food in Orlando. First time going in for buffet. Located in a pretty shady shopping center. They also sell Gujarati sweets and snacks. The restaurant has a very basic setup with kind of dated furniture. Setup for fast casual service. The sole attendant stayed behind the counter 99% of the time. We chose a table and I went up to the attendant and told her we are going to go for buffet, she responds by asking if want roti or puri. The food on the buffet was average at best. A bit too oily for my taste. The desserts on the buffet was jelabi and rus malai both on point. Note for myself: stick to the snacks and a La carte menu items for next time. Most of their food probably is best enjoyed at home.

Awesome food ,excellent service . we ordered food for our temple event yesterday and what a delicious food they delivered . Owner Ashok is very nice and professional and delivered very tasty food without onion and garlic . Easy to order and delivery ,service by them was too good . deepak and meenu kumar

What a great place! The Gobi Manchurian was terrific as was the bhel. The owners feel like family: I will always come here when I am in town.

The restaurant is plain but who cares about that when the food is AMAZING! I loved their buffet it was so worth it. The Gujarati food undhiyo was soo good. The paneer was tasty tho a bit oily. Roti and puri were so fresh and melted in your mouth. Desserts were plenty and they even had chai in their buffet nothing was missed! Service was fast! I was visiting from out of state. If I come back I'd definitely come here.

Very inflexible owner. I did not like buffet so I wanted to order off the menu. He just said no and spoke me in gujarati. I told him I don't speak gujarati. Just said no. Poor customer service. Will never come here again

Khasiyat group gets 5 stars for that. * Will always recommend them for any future events.

8 years later and the place still amazes us. The food, ambiance, and friendliness have all been well maintained and remain fabulous. The food has more options now and the quality and taste are still the best.

I am a fan. In a somewhat sketchy neighborhood, the restaurant is located at a small strip mall. The dining room seats about 55 and is quite ample. During the day, outside light floods the space. Decor is minimalist immigrant 90's, with vintage tables and chairs from that decade. The foyer hides a warehousing area packed with boxes. Don't be discouraged, though, this food is spectacular and service is top notch. Ordered the Punjabi thali, with rice, two curries, a samosa, bread, chutneys and dessert. Oh, and dal, dal too. Everything was delicious, and the ambiance, oh well, it added to the experience. Great Indian eats, I recommend.

Hole in the wall with such amazing food! This place is kind of out of the way a little in an unassuming tiny plaza. Average plus ambiance. Clean though! We had Chole Puri, Undhiyu and Thali. Both were super awesome. Service was awesome. They modified items to our taste and spice level. To have distinctly different food items which are core specialty of those regions and to have finger licking food taste in all of them was a huge factor in this review. They also sell Indian regional sweets and dry snacks. We purchased a few items. We enjoyed it all so much. Wish we were locals. We would be regulars at this place for sure. Want Authentic Gujarati food? Don't even think twice. Their Punjabi/ North Indian was equally tasty. Just go!

This is my all time favorite authentic Indian restaurant in Orlando! There is NO MEAT for you meat lovers be aware BUT honestly you won't miss it at all! The quality and taste of the food is amazing! We always go for lunch buffet which is 11am-3pm and it's worth it! It includes main dish and side dishes of your choice as well as naans and breads( mind you menu options are never the same as the dishes have changed everytime we've gone) but the food is delicious and leaves us very full and happy!

The people who work here are great, extremely polite and helpful, and the food is wonderful. The only problem is that some of the people behind the counter either don't mask, or they half-mask. ( See photo.) Pretty disappointing from such an excellent restaurant.

This is an excellent vegetarian restaurant. As vegetarian Hindus, it's wonderful to have a place like this. If you have not eaten here, you will delight with the variety and quality of food.

Khayisat easily became one of my favorite Indian restaurants. They have a small buffet, but it's more diverse than other Indian buffets I have seen, and they are completely vegetarian. It's very simple, decoration is minimal. The only thing in the room is a large TV playing Bollywood movies on a loop. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The owner explained the menu and made recommendations. You order and pay at the counter. I chose the chana masala, which is my favorite Indian dish. It comes with two pieces of puffy bread. The dish was fresh and flavorful. I loved it. Also, prices are reasonable. Overall, 4 stars. .

I can't even remember the name of all the food we got, we wanted to eat their before we left back home and we were in a hurry. But this is BOMB !!!! You come you won't be disappointed !

Mid July 2023 KHASIYAT - A Hidden Gem !! Decor is minimalist, with vintage tables and chairs. Not a place to visit if you care about ambience. Food is what will drive people here. The place, although no-frills in its decoration, makes up for it with the quality of the food served. KHASIYAT Authentic, freshly made, Indian home style Gujarati food cooked with love. In Orlando we were shopping at Patel Bros. and around the lunch hour Just searched on internet and landed in this restaurant to try their Indian Gujarati Buffet. We choose the buffet over the thali, as we were hungry, which was very good value for money, loads of authentic Gujarati food with a nice homemade touch. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food A variety of vegetarian dishes. Kadhi and dal, three varieties of different vegetables, Lilva Kachori, kadhi pakoda, Bagan Bhartu, Palak paneer, dum aloo, gulab jamun, salad, white rice, carrot pickle, raita, Rose milk Shake in the buffet. They served unlimited freshly made roti and Poori right at our table which were soft. Finger licking food taste in all of them was a huge factor in this review. Highly recommend this place! Overall ghar ka khana, tasty with a smiling staff. Their hospitality is next level and food tasted too good. It took me back to my mother-in-law's prepared garam Phulka days.

Mom got the Kathiyawadi Thali and I got Papdi Chaat. DELICIOUS. nice clean restaurant, the service was very friendly. Food was amazing of course and had a really enjoyable salt LAssi with it all. Will definitely come EVERYTIME we are in Orlando.

I've heard a lot about this restaurant's catering division from various of my Mum's friends. Apparently, its the go-to place in Orlando's Indian community for ordering catering, especially for weddings and graduation parties. So I was excited to find out they also had a sit down restaurant, but I was warned repeatedly to make sure to call the restaurant and confirm they were open, as some folks had turned up and the place was closed, hours of operation non-withstanding. Duly warned, I called and confirmed they were open one Saturday, as this restaurant is a bit of a trek for me, since this place is located in the Airport area, and I live in Apopka, a good hour away. Its located in a very unassuming plaza, and mum and I almost missed the turn-off into the parking lot. Once we entered the place, it felt like time-warp to a 1980s restaurant in Bombay (side note: the city will never be Mumbai to me). There was read vinyl seating, a massive TV showing a bollywood movie with SRK and Kajol and then to the fair side was 5-6 containers of Indian snacks like chivda, gathia, etc. Mum and I were a bit taken aback by the prices in the menu, and decided to get the Gujarati Thali ($18.98) to share. I'm glad we split it, because this was a massive plate of food! We got to choose x2 lentils and so for my choice I got (a) Dudhi Chana which is lentils with squash and then mum's choice was (b) Undhiyu which is Gujarati mixed veggie that takes ages to cook and mum said was very difficult to make for the Indian home cook. Along with these two lentils, we also got Daal, 4 rotli, rice, spicy pickle, raitu, papad, sweet (dessert), onion tomato salad and Kachori (so that's a total of 11 items!). The sweet we got was home made cardamon srikhand, which tasted amazing. I really enjoyed the food. I'm not a pickle-fancier, but I checked with the server and their's was made in-house and you can definitely taste the difference compared to a store bought pickle jar! I also liked that this restaurant showcased regional Indian cuisine and plan to come back to try the other two thalis. We also purchased 2 pounds of dokla and this also tasted wonderfully authentic. As per the server, everything is made in-house except for the paneer. However its a four star for me, because of the Indian snacks (also made in-store) that we purchased. After we got home, one bite confirmed that the chivda, gathia, and chakli that we had purchased was under-cooked. It tasted raw, as if the chickpea flour hadn't been baked/ fried for the correct time and gave us upset tummies. So while I do recommend coming here for the cooked food, I dont plan to purchase the snacks ever again! Yelp 19/2018

I've had better Indian buffets. $14.99 adult/7.99 child. Limited choices (could use a few more curry options), two soups didn't have anything left in them, all vegetarian. Tasted good but not stellar or would come back. Could use stronger flavors and/or spice. Had some flies but maybe that's understandable given it's hot out. Somewhat hot in place and lack of AC, more of a lunchtime decor. Maybe if you order the thalis it would be better? No server. More like you order from the counter; it's fine if that's what you want. Price decent for the area. Good thing: employees super friendly.

I go to this place for 25 years Some traditional cultures, like those from India and Africa vegans families, treat cooking as a sacred duty that lets everyone know how much they love cooking fresh healthy homemade meals and snacks. Very simple clean ambience'.

One of the best vegetarian Indian food in the town. Very mild and homey taste. We ordered variety of dishes and all were good. Dosa, Idli, Meduvada , Fritters, Undhyi ,roti amd khasta kachori. Arrived fresh and hot. Loved it. Restaurant locted in little bit dark place with no signs board that you can see in the dark. Its a self service place so nothing much of service. Strongly recommend for veg. Indian food.

I was at a wedding where all events were catered from Khasiyat. Without exaggeration, though the wedding was beautiful, talk of the town was the food. Every meal was phenomenal!

Love Love Love Khasiyat!! They're everything you want in a small veggie Indian buffet plus those puffy home made breads, not naan, something or other thanks to my ignorance - those are absolutely profanity delete awesome!! Fresh and wonderful and oh so special. Sure, they're small and mom and popish, fainter types will criticize the plaza, but that's the thing that makes them VVVunderbar. Totally Love them and absolutely can't wait to pass my old favorites by on the way. Solid five and I don't do fives. Lol

We really enjoyed our experience at khasiyat! Pure vegetarian- aunthetic Gujarati cuisine. They do serve chat, indo- Chinese and South Indian items as well. We tried the buffet as well as the Kathiyawadi thali. All the food was amazing! It was freshly made and reminded me of home!! Enjoyed the ringan no Oro, khaman dhokla and gota the most! We also tried the Yuka chips. They were delicious!! ( With a indo-chinese sauce/ coating) The sweets- Ladu, boondi and aam ka Ras were really good too! Enjoyed the hot rotis with all the food!! The bajra no rotolo was okay too- I wish it was more roasted/ cooked to impart the sweet bajra flavor!! It felt a little doughy to me! Definitely recommend the restaurant!! If you like gujju food - you'll love the place! :)

Food is great but for the love of god they're always closed. Can you not have a catering team as well as restaurant staff. They close at all sorts of hours and attend to big orders for weddings parties. It's frustrating

Our favorite Indian restaurant. I reviewed Khasiyat a couple years ago. Hadn't been here for a long, due to Covid restrictions, and just didn't go to Orlando much at all. But this summer they closed briefly to do a little remodel. Much nicer inside, but still not overwhelmed with Indian decor, it doesn't need it. Vegetarian lunch buffet was fantastic, but limited options, it's a small place. You can order off the menu, but since we have limited knowledge of Indian food, the buffet is best for us. We love this place.

One of the worst Indian restaurants I have ever been in my life. I wish i could give 0 starts but I cannot! Here are the few reasons why I am giving 1 start : 1. Food flies all over my food., cannot you guys maintain a clean environment ? 2. Very very poor service ! 3. Low maintenance and high price Total scam in the name of Indian restaurant!

Was very happy to find an all vegetarian Gujarati restaurant but they closed for 3 days over thanksgiving so wasn't able to visit them again. We went on Monday, they close on Tuesday than again they were closed for 3 more days. Will definitely try them again next year when we visit Orlando.

If all food tasted this good, I could very easily become vegetarian. I have passed this restaurant at least 40 times and have seen busloads of people eating their but never tried it myself. A friend and I decided to give them a try March 25th, 2019, and we are very glad we did. The gentleman who helped us, I'm guessing that was the owner, was extremely accommodating and helpful. As we are American and speak only English in Spanish we did not I know exactly what to order. He made a few suggestions and they were wonderful choices. He first recommended the Mango Lassi and told me that would be the best thing to start with. He said it is better than soda, (I don't drink soda,) and he guaranteed I would love it. The drink was incredible! It's a very heavy and thick mango puree (that's the only way I know how to describe it,) and very filling. From there we moved on to the main dish. I had the Daal Makhani which is lentils with a creamy gravy. Incredible! The taste was very mild and had a very smooth taste on the palate. We also ordered the staples: Garlic Nan and Papadum. Papadum is one of my absolute favorites and it was baked and not fried so that made it even better. I would highly recommend giving them a try. We'll be coming back over the weekends with friends to hit the buffet.

The food is great, and it tastes better than most pricey Indian restaurants. You can choose to order from their menu, but we usually get the buffet. Right now during covid they are not doing the buffet but they will still replenish the food if you want more. Every time we are in the area we always visit! My only concern is the location, it's located in the outskirts of Orlando in a rundown strip mall. Other than that everything is great.

My favorite place for Indian food!!! So many vegan options also, I take all my friends here despite the drive from me. Love them, even when they catered for a small family get together.

When I feel like eating Gujarati food - which is once a week, I come here. The food is delicious and reminds me of my grandmas cooking. Don't be deterred by the location, the food is authentic and fresh!

Best vegetarian Indian restaurant in town. Informal, simple setting but very clean. The lunch buffet is small but extremely varied, all items were fresh/delicious and it costs only $9. There is also a la carte menu with a lot of Punjabi and South Indian choices.

Wow what a find!! Living in Chicago north suburbs we don't get that great Gujarati or kathiyawadi food. We had the kathiyawadi thali and it was delicious!! The bajra Roy last were soft and amazing with jaggery and garlic (lasan) chutney! We had undhiyu and sev tameta sabzi and it was pretty good too. The farsan was lili kachori and for sweet there was laddu. Both really good. Overall awesome meal. We ordered khasta kachori which was ok. Recommend to go for thali.
