Khem Villas

Khem Villas is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The property is located a little outside Sawai Madhopur, right in the middle of the lush green surroundings of Ranthambore National Park. We stayed in one of the tents and absolutely loved the view from our veranda overlooking the mountains of Ranthambore National Park. The service is outstanding! The food (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) was by far the best we had during our time in India – unbelievably delicious and clear proof that Indian cuisine doesn’t need any meat to be amazing. All the staff members are incredibly friendly and helpful. In the evenings, some of them even join the guests around the campfire to chat, answer questions, and share stories. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, it’s a truly unforgettable experience! Thank you so much. :)

Our stay at Khem Villas was incredible - it’s a wonderful oasis of calm after being in the busy city of Delhi. You can tell that their ethos prioritises nature as well as luxury and the staff were very attentive at all times. Of particular interest was a nature walk with Shashikant which was a pleasure to be on with his amazing knowledge and enthusiasm. Would definitely recommend this place to all and wish we had stayed longer!

The staff were warm and welcoming. The food was exceptional home cooked and delicious. The setting of the villas was perfect for the National Park.

We stayed two nights as part of our visit to Ranthambore. The resort has done an amazing job in the gardens, it really is a slice of paradise. The "tents" are proper glamping. Luxurious, quiet AC, wonderful bed and living space. The "outdoor" yet completely private shower was a revelation. Drinks around the fire before dinner was delightful. Meals are vegetarian and though perhaps not michelin star, are tasty and interesting. Perhaps query which villa you have. Ours had a view out to the rather run down neighboring farm. Others had much better views. You are a ways from the main park sector entrances, so do have to factor in extra time before and after your safaris. However, this is a truly excellent place to stay in Ranthambore.

The entire property runs harmoniously with its surroundings—solar power, organic farming, and a strict no-plastic policy reflect their deep respect for the environment. Every meal we had was a culinary delight—wholesome, delicious, and made from organic ingredients grown on the property itself. The staff were warm, knowledgeable, and attentive without being intrusive. They arranged our safari rides, shared insightful stories about the wildlife, and even introduced us to the history of the region. And while spotting a tiger is always a thrill, the serene walks around the property, the peaceful moments by the lake, and the early morning sounds of the forest were equally magical. Khem Villas doesn’t just offer accommodation—it offers an invitation to slow down, reconnect with nature, and reflect in stillness. Whether you’re a wildlife enthusiast, a couple seeking solitude, or simply someone looking to unwind, this place feels like a hidden sanctuary.

I would highly recommend it if you are looking for a safari and want to stay nearby. The villa is surrounded by many birds, deer, and three crocodiles. 😀 Yes, but they maintain a safe distance from humans. You are covered for three meals per day, and they have a beverage menu that includes the basic spirits you would expect, as well as cold chilled local beer. We mostly have Indian wines that are reasonably priced. Again, this is a jungle, so your stay will be peaceful if that is what you are looking for. Amazing, stunning experience.

We had such a great time at Khem Villas. We stayed in one of the villas for two nights and honestly didn’t want to leave.||The property is gorgeous—peaceful, green, and full of life. You can really feel how much care has gone into restoring the land. Just walking around was a treat, and we even saw jackals and lots of birds from the villa!||Our villa was spacious, super comfortable, and beautifully designed. It felt luxurious but still very connected to nature, which we loved.||The staff were fantastic—friendly, helpful, and genuinely kind. The whole place has a calm, welcoming vibe that makes you feel instantly relaxed.||And the food was amazing—fresh, vegetarian, and full of flavor. We looked forward to every meal.||All in all, a perfect mix of comfort and nature. We’re so glad we stayed and would absolutely come back.

We really enjoyed our stay at Khem Villas. We stayed in a lovely tent which had all the comforts as you would find in a normal room.|Staff were most attentive without being intrusive.
