Everything hot and made to order. We asked chef for Thai spicy and got what we wanted. The food was delicious! Will come again Chicken wings crispy on outside and juicy on inside. Beef larb was excellent.

Google
The yellow curry was good like a solid 7.5/10 The beef in every dish we got tasted really bad. The cut was not good or it went bad and they served it. We had to spit it out. Probably wont be back

Wonderful!! The Pad Woon Sen was amongst the best I've had. So flavorful and cooked to perfection. The couple who run the place were so nice and accommodating!! The portion was generous and reasonably priced. I highly recommend for delicious Thai favorites.

Google
Heard about Khobkoon Thai from a friend and was impressed with the quality of food. The ingredients were fresh and crisp. Super flavorful with textures on point. Service was good. Definitely found my new go to Thai Restaurant here in West Roseville.

Google
Service is great and super nice. Some dishes were good, some didn't have much flavor. Would try again and order different things. Cute place with great ambiance.

Google
Stopped in for lunch with a coworker. The service was excellent and the food was good. Our meal order was correct and brought out quickly.

Google
What a treat! My wife and I loved this place and so happy we tried it. Definitely bringing friends and family with us next time. We ordered the green curry with chicken, pad see-ew with beef, and kung phak ruam. The green curry sauce was thinner than I'm used to, but was full of flavor. Bites with basil and some added serrano pepper slices (from the side sauce dishes on the table) were my favorite bites of the meal. Other food highlights were the perfectly cooked shrimp in the kung phak ruam and flavorful thick noodles of the pad see-ew. The service was attentive and as friendly as could be. I didn't feel like I was in a restaurant, I felt like I was in somebody's kitchen. I should have added photos, but the meal was devoured before I could think of it. All 3 decently proportioned meals and a side of fluffy rice for only $50.

Google
We looked at reviews and decided to have food there. Nobody was there close to dinner time on the weekend. We could not eat any of the two dishes we ordered!! It was old, flavorless, almost no meat, with old gummy noodles. The worst food we hand in Sacramento area. They will be closing soon, mark my words!!!

Yelp
Love this place! Been to lots of Thai food places and this is by far the freshest and tastiest thai I've had. No need to try any other place in my book...

Yelp
Khobkoon Thai Cuisine is a gem for anyone craving bold, authentic Thai flavors. The Panang Curry here is a revelation--creamy coconut milk infused with aromatic spices, paired with tender chicken (or tofu for vegetarians) and crisp bell peppers. Equally impressive is the Drunken Noodles with just the right kick of chili. S The ambiance is cozy and modern, with warm lighting and Thai-inspired art. Service is attentive; our server checked in to ensure spice levels were tailored to our preferences (they're happy to adjust heat from mild to "Thai hot"). Don't miss the mango sticky rice for dessert--it's seasonal but worth asking about! See you next Date night!

Yelp
Best around! The eggplant dishes are fantastic and the staff are very skilled and polite.

Yelp
Driving home, I see this Thai and decided to stop. I ordered the #58 Tofu Pad Eggplant and it was quite tasty. Food came quickly, and the spice tray was already at the table as usually I have to ask for it. It was good overall, not overpriced, however, rice does not come with the entree. I was solo dining, so I only got the one dish, I wish I was in a group so we could have more dishes.

Yelp
We love this place! One of the best in our area! I love their peanut sauce and always order extra. The service is excellent and they are very personable.

Yelp
Ordered the lunch special #1 which was a minced chicken dish with onions, bell peppers, and basil drenched in garlic sauce. It was delicious and comforting! We also had the gift egg roll. It was just the right taste and the sweet and sour sauce complemented it well. The service was top notch for a quiet weekday afternoon. We also love how they give out Kit Kat bars instead of fortune cookies! Ambiance felt like we were in a different world too! Loved everything about this place!

Yelp
Best Thai I've ever had. I used to come here often in my 20s. I went back to visit and it was exactly how I remember it. Try the chicken panang. You won't regret it! Yes Please!

Yelp
My new favorite Thai restaurant in Roseville! Authentic taste, fast and friendly service. Also as of March 2025 they have the best prices I've seen for any food anywhere in Roseville/Rocklin area. Support this small business the next time that you're craving Thai food.

Yelp
Maybe it's just the noodle dishes, but I have ordered the pad see ew and pad kee mao, and both dishes are so watery. Since the restaurant is close by, I have ordered these dishes more than once (out of pure convenience), and unfortunately they were consistently watered down. So disappointing since I love Thai food so much.

Yelp
We've been going here for years. We have tried other Thai restaurants nearby but always end up coming back to Khobkoon. The food tastes similar to a home cooked meal, delicious! I enjoy eating chicken pad Thai, spicy chicken wings, pad se ew beef and shrimp fried rice. Owner is friendly and food is great!

Josie S.

Yelp
The best Thai food ever! I always order the chicken yellow curry with rice. Delicious and very reasonable.

Joyce K.

Yelp
Delicious food, fantastic service! We get yellow curry and pad see ew that comes out so fast and fresh every time. We can get in and out in about 30 minutes for dinner but never rushed. Go to local Thai spot in Roseville that's a must try.

Yelp
Well that was a waste of time and money for us. We love us some good Thai and were hopeful for this place. Located in yet another strip mall in Roseville, you will immediately be confused as to which door you are supposed to enter, as there are two restaurants next to each other, and 3 of the doors have signs stating "Enter from other door" and the arrows point to the other restaurant. Khobkoon is the single door on the far right. The interior has been designed to look old world Thai/Asian which was cute. They definitely need to add some music for the background so you don't just hear other diner's utensils clicking on their plates. I noticed other patrons (there were only 3 other tables filled at 8pm on a Saturday night) were speaking extremely quietly as not to have other's hear them. Kind of annoying to have to pay attention to your speaking level. Our host, and presumed owner was nice as he took our orders. Food: Started with the #1 veggie rolls. Deep fried, but cold in the middle, and the veggie insides were on the stringy side, which being cold was a bit 'not good'. Followed by #19 Tom Kha Ghai with chicken. Came presented in a sterno hot pot, and it was actually boiling in the pot. The broth truly had no flavor to it. So that was a miss as well. Finally we tried the #24 Penang with pork ($1 extra for pork) and #64 Pad Thai. The pork in the Penang was tender which was good. But, the curry was flavorless as was the Pad Thai. One thing that surprised and annoyed us, was that I have never been to a Thai restaurant where they did not ask or indicate the level of spice. He never mentioned, nor asked us even though the menu clearly notes "spicy" by use of the pepper icons. All of our food was bland, and flavorless. Even the jars of heat additives (for lack of better words here) at the table were bland. Is bland what people in Roseville love? Based on the 'great' reviews one might think so. For us, who love good 'real' Thai food with traditional spiciness, this is not the place. Again, only 3 other tables had diners on this Saturday night, and only 2 take out orders came in while we were there. I wish him well...

Yelp
He knows our orders by heart and it's consistently delicious!! We love going here-- service is always wonderful, the owner is kind and always sends us home with goodies!

Yelp
Consistent amazing food over the years! One of our family's favorite restaurants. The owner/chef is friendly, kind and talented. 5

Yelp
Came on Saturday lunch. Not super busy but definitely has few people doing pick up and dining. At first we are the only people around 12pm which surprises us. This place look small from outside but definitely has lots of tables. The guy seems like the owner very polite friendly guy. Their utensils look clean and they provided a lot of set of plates and utensils based on the dishes. But the plates and utensils definitely look very clean compared to a lot of other places. We ordered chicken pas sew ew, som tum, coconut soup and rice. The rice definitely doesn't smell fresh from same day, it has slightly smell from a steamer reheat So probably from previous day. The only cons about ordering the steam rice. The others dishes taste very good, fresh, hot and flavor is good. Definitely will be back and recommend this to my friends and family. The only thing is probably won't recommend the white rice lol. Service is great, food is good and definitely look like a small business run by the owner so quality of the food seems pretty good. Definitely will be back.

Yelp
Place is kind of dark and dank, but the food is good and pg&e is expensive. Maybe a few fans to circulate the air and bit would help. Again, I've been there 3 times, in a short period, so obviously the food outweighs the dining room temperature.

Yelp
My mom and I come here quite often for lunch and always order Thai teas and some pad Thai. Food and drink are always delicious, and the man who serves us is very polite. Very nice family owned restaurant. He serves and cleans the tables while his wife cooks the food. I recommend giving this place a try when you want authentic Thai food.

Yelp
I've been meaning to leave this review for a long time. I come here often both with my dad and my boyfriend, and all three of us adore this place. Khobkoon not only has amazing food, but incredibly friendly staff. Every time I've gone in, I've been greeted with kindness, generosity, and a positive attitude. I always look forward to saying hi and chatting with the owner! The place is cozy and service is fast, so dining in is fun. But incredibly, the take-out is just as hot and delicious! I love coming to Khobkoon, and without a doubt will be back soon:) P.S. order the kao pad with chicken, medium spicy, and a thai tea. All of the food is good, but that stuff is AMAZING. I dream about that rice.

Yelp
It's been a good minute since my last visit here and I'm so glad I came back. I'm also glad I didn't review them solely on one dining experience. My son was telling me about the green salad with prawns that they serve here and I told him I've already dined here and it was Ok. Well, he wanted me to try them again and treated me to an early dinner. We came in before the dinner rush. My son said when he came during dinner it was really busy but they were very quick. The owner was our server, he was very friendly and personable. We ordered: *Green salad w/prawns 5/5, it was sweet, sour, spicy and full of flavor *Chicken Satay 5/5 the chicken was super moist and tender, probably the best I've had in the area *Shrimp Pad Thai 5/5 not too sweet or overly wet, Delish *Yellow Curry w/chicken 5/5 yum! Our food came out quick and the portions were a good size for the price. I've grown to like the fact I don't want lots of leftovers. Give Khobkoon a try if you're in the area. It's next door to Bombay Indian Cuisine, which is on my radar for the next place to try!

Yelp
The single best restaurant in all of Roseville! The food is so fresh and handmade- no pastes or frozen curries, all made with actual crushed garlic, ginger, chilies, etc. Nothing here is too heavy on the coconut milk or sugar, all flavors are pure and real. This is the best Thai food you can get anywhere in Sacramento area, water than any other shop hands down. I recommend the red curry, Thai wings appetizer, Tom Yum soup, and the fried whole pompano fish. Do yourself a favor and ask for medium spiciness- perfectly hot and flavorful.

Yelp
The best Thai little place with best tasting Thai dishes! Awesome service by the owner and his wife. Wonderful ambience!

Yelp
True that their portions are generous. Food is good. Service is good. I have dined in several times. I continue to dine here too. You should try it too. Won't be disappointed. Ample parking.

Yelp
Glad we tried Khobkoon Thai. We came at lunch and had chicken Pad Thai and the Thai chow mein. The pad Thai was served hot, fresh, and a was a decent portion (even took about 1/4 of it home). It was a good spice level at medium and not sweet like some pad Thai. I also liked that the sprouts and carrots were on the side so you can add your own (both were crisp and fresh). Only drawback was that the dish was a tad oily. The chicken chow mein was a little disappointing-not much flavor so wouldn't try that again. We will come back and try the curries next time. Service was friendly. It is a nice space inside with wooden panels and decorations - and clean too, including the restroom. Note the fine print at the cash register that there's a 3% fee for credit cards.

Yelp
Consistently great food! The owner is gracious and friendly! Be adventurous and order the eggplant tofu! It's hands down my favorite and the best I tasted in all my travels! Even if you're not adventurous, you won't be disappointed because Khobkoon has mastered the art of spice and flavor! You can even get a Thai ice tea to go! It's definitely my go to for Thai!!!
google avatar

Louise E.

Yelp
It's my first time to try this place. The service was okay, we were seated immediately but the order wait time was a bit slow as there's only 1 man doing the orders, cleaning up after guests and serving the food. I think he also cooks. The food was a little bland and the entree's sauces were watery. It would've been better if it's more flavorful and not as watery. I was expecting the food to be spicy too but I couldn't taste even a bit of spiciness. The thai tea was super sweet too. We were given chocolates at the end upon getting the check.

Raja G.

Yelp
This is my absolute favorite Thai restaurant in the Roseville area! I've tried nearly all of them in Roseville and Rocklin, and the food here is outstanding. The owners are very passionate about providing customers with an incredible experience. I can't wait to order from here again!

Juliet F.

Yelp
First time here today. Best Thai food I've had. Food tastes authentic and fresh. Food isn't drowning in sauces. Portions were adequate not too big of portions. Owner was so friendly and food came out quickly. Ambience was quaint and cozy. Definitely going back again.
google avatar

Leona B.

Yelp
Tried Thai food for the first time. Our friends wanted to introduce us to this restaurant. We let them order for us since we had no idea what things tasted like. We ordered a variety of dishes everything was really good. We will return again to try different dishes. Service was great. Nice ambiance.
google avatar

Yelp
A good go to around town. Flavor and portion delivers. I get the drunken noodle every time and does not disappoint. Restaurant quality. Service: 10/10 fast and nice staff Food: 8.5/10 tasty and decent price

Claire C.

Yelp
amazing food and service. I've tried SO many Thai restaurants throughout California, I now live in San Diego but whenever I come home I have to go to my favorite spot!
google avatar

Melissa F.

Yelp
The family has been coming here for over 5 years. Take out and dine-in. The man who owns and runs the place is so nice. The food is always amazing and my husband loves his Thai spicy levels. We love supporting this business and getting yummy food too.
google avatar

Nat W.

Yelp
This Thai restaurant is a solid choice. Their pricing is very reasonable and I admire the owner's effort to keep the price low, when everything is going up in prices. I had Pad See Ew and it was really good! Well seasoned. The Pat Thai was on the otherhand, maybe a bit underseasoned. My picky baby loved the food as well. The customer service is just great by the owner. It is a one man operation on the floor by him, so I can see it might take a bit depending on how busy he is. Regardless he provides excellent service.
google avatar

Christine B.

Yelp
First time here and the food was so tasty! The only place I have found that had meat filled wontons (finally). The owner was so super friendly and attentive. We both got the drunken noodles w beef and the beef was tender and Not chewy.
google avatar

Jeysol S.

Yelp
Food is delicious, great flavors, a really good portion on the lunch menu. My favorite is the beef yellow curry . The owner is super nice and friendly. Place is always clean and relaxing. This is the third time coming. I wish I could come everyday for lunch. The prices are just right. And you get a Kit Kat at the end of your meal. Who doesn't love Kit Kats. Next time I'll take a picture of my food. But I come hungry and well in the heat of the moment I forget. I hope you all can make it here and try it out!!
google avatar

Stef S.

Yelp
Not my top favorite Thai place but they have good curries here. Good service and ambience.
google avatar

Angela M.

Yelp
This place is delicious! Ordered the jun pad poo to go with a side of the cucumber salad. Kind of pricier than expected but so is everything now a days! If you like crab and milder noodles, this dish is for you. Needed the cucumber salad on the side for a crunch. This will be my go to Thai place.
google avatar

Arvey S.

Yelp
Don't judge a book by its cover of an oft quoted phrase and it certainly applies to this restaurant. The outside of the establishment has no curb appeal and in fact, on a brightly lit afternoon, we stopped by and wondered if this place had been shuttered for good. It looked closed, but once inside, it's like traveling to Thailand itself. The service is warm, friendly and attentive. The food, its flavor across many dishes we tried, is very good. It's good to see ethnic food in these parts where there really aren't a lot of choices outside of chain restaurants. It's delicious, scrumptious, tasty, delectable, yummy, etc.
google avatar

Cindy W.

Yelp
The owner of the restaurant is very nice. He does is best to host and serve. It was not very busy when I walked in. Plenty of parking outside. The atmosphere was quiet and the decor were nice. Small restaurant. A little disappointed that they ran out of papaya salad. We ordered Pad Thai, chicken coconut milk soup and panang curry. They have condiments, so if things aren't spicy enough just add more pepper to it. The pad Thai was good, ordered it mild. The Panang curry was not as thick, but still had flavor. We had to order a couple side of steam rice with it as it doesn't come with it. I am a fan of the chicken coconut soup. It came out hot with a fire ! The broth had bamboo and chicken, it wasn't thick, but flavorful.
google avatar

Janet R.

Yelp
My most favorite Thai food restaurant. I love the husband/wife team. They are so sweet. Pad kee mo and all three of the Curry soups are delicious!
google avatar

Jane L.

Yelp
Came here to try a new Thai place. We ordered the duck curry, drunken noodles, seafood curry, and seafood fried rice. The seafood was so fresh and the flavors were on point. The duck curry and drunken noodles were also pretty good. If I was going to use authentic (even though I've never been to Thailand and had "authentic" Thai flavors), this would be one of the rare times I would use it. They also have a lovely selection of Thai chili sauces and powder. The man who was our server (also the owner maybe?) was super nice and very thoughtful while we were ordering and when he was serving our food. The decor of the place made it nice and cozy inside; perfect for an intimate meal. I was surprised to find the place has been around for 15 years. Definitely a hidden gem and hole in the wall! If you like Thai food, come try this place out and give it some love!
google avatar

John J.

Yelp
I make Thai better than this and I'm a red headed white boy, though Ihave friends who own a thai restaurantin San Luis Obispo. I had Pad Thai with my order. It was dry with no peanuts and no sauce. Ordered spring rolls, got fried rolls. Thom Yum Ghai was sad. Ordered 2 rice got 1. Rice was dry. I do not know whose reviewing this place but anything over 1 stars is suspect. Thanks for your time. Trying not to waste yours with this place.
google avatar

Gwen P.

Yelp
Gets very busy at lunch, but Yun is amazing and the food is fantastic! My favorites here are the Kra Pow and Phad Thai.
google avatar

MB P.

Yelp
Ordered beef Pad see ew and beef Pad Thai to go. My family enjoyed the food and the portion/price is very reasonable (especially here in Roseville). The person behind the counter was extremely nice and I cannot wait to try other dishes from this restaurant.
google avatar

Cem K.

Yelp
perfect, perfect, perfect! excellent service, don't be scared to ask for recommendations, but everything we ordered was delicious and Jammed packed with flavor! the crab noodles were my favorite of the night with real crab meat! definitely will be coming back.

Y M.

Yelp
Ever since my friend introduced me to this restaurant 4 years ago or so, this has been my favorite Thai restaurant. The food is great, the price is very reasonable, and the service is excellent. I stopped by today and heard that they are closing in 2 months. My heart is broken. I hope they can find a better location and continue to serve their wonderful food. Let's support them while they are still here in Roseville.
google avatar

Hal S.

Yelp
Gave this place a try... how was it you ask? It was okay. Not nearly as tasty as some of the Thai restaurants I've visited in the Bay Area or Sacramento, and the portions here are awfully small. The Pad Thai was probably better than the other items. The Yellow curry didn't have much meat. The chicken satay was a little bland. The basil beef and Tom Yum soup were fine from my wife's perspective; didn't look or smell appetizing to me, though. I guess we will continue the quest to find that local Thai restaurant that pleases the whole family! Until we find it, I'll keep the reviews coming...

Kali Z.

Yelp
One of my favorite Thai places in Roseville. Generous portions, friendly service, authentic ambiance and tasty food! Parking is easy to find as well.
