Worth a visit if you’re in the mood for southern Thai cuisine. The fried fish and crispy garlic was particularly notable. The Michelin-recommended dishes were also worth ordering. If you can, come in a larger group to enjoy the variety of dishes that are available. Note: allow extra time for the coconut ice cream to defrost 😏

Authentic but not friendly for everyday dining. Good local food with a homey style of cooking and serving. Be careful of the standard spicy level. It could easily burn your month. Order something mild if you are not a spicy person. The braised pork with eggs could be too sweet for some.

Space: This branch is a little cramped but, there are several spaces divided all throughout the house-cum-restaurant. The main dining, once you enter is the most spacious but seats may be too close to each other. There are also private rooms after passing by a narrow short corridor, and outdoor seating with a few tables. Food: Food is great and cooked deliciously. The serving is just enough but not exactly overwhelming. Could be shared by 2-3 small asians with per dish. Haha menu is also vast with vegetarian options Price: Not the cheapest but still affordable esp for groups. Vegetable dishes could cost average of 220baht. Shrimp and crabs could cost anywhere around ~800baht. Service: The staff are very attentive. (*not sure if because we have local friends who are regular customers) They even provide “allergy caps” or antihistamines in case you turn out allergic to anything you already ate. They can also ‘tweak’ the recipe a bit, in our case, the curry changed to a specific regional curry — don’t exactly know what happened hahaha they were speaking in Thai, my friends and the staff. Location: Sits on the peripheries of the very busy street of Thonglor. It’s a short hike from the BTS station but after eating, you can go anywhere nearby since it’s surrounded by several bars, dessert shops, communal spaces.

One of my favorite southern Thai food restaurant in Bangkok. Tried all the Michelin bib entrees and they did not disappoint. The food is extremely spicy so I would recommend getting it less spicy if you cannot handle the spice. Other than that the food is delicious.

Lovely setting. Food great! Not overly salty nor oily. The pad woosen dish was very well done. Love the vegetables cooked w this dish.. cha-om?? Too full so did not do dessert. All the staff very attentive. Has initiative too! Will definitely come again on my next trip to Bkk.

Amazing dinner at Khuakling, overall a great group experience. We were a group of 6, arrived around 9pm and got seated immediately. We ordered a large amount of dishes but the standouts were the braised pork, the pad Thai and the prawns with peas. Service was really good and quick, and the staff was helpful with recommendations.

I'm leaving a review to get a free coconut ice cream. Despite the free dessert, the food is generally quite delicious. The effort and care into the food be seen. Worth travelling some distance if you are nearby.

If you’re looking to experience authentic Thai cuisine, this restaurant is a must-visit. The flavors are truly traditional, rich, and delicious, without any adjustments for foreign tastes. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to try real Thai food in its original style.
