Kick's Chicken Cafe

Decent place for fried chicken, wings, sandwiches. But I always feel that there is something not right. For example, today the fried chicken was dripping with oil. And the sandwich in the picture just had way too much BBQ sauce so it became soggy very quickly and started disintegrating. But other items on the menu have been great.

We called for a pick-up. It was ready 10 minutes ahead of when they said. Chicken is good. Macncheese is not. Gravy for mashed taters is excellent! In my humble opinion of broasted chicken I'd say it's decent. More spices and slightly more breading would be great. I hope corporate takes notice of my comments. If you charge premium prices,and don't deliver premium products you will not survive. Usually I would give this place a 3 star but everyone who has ever been working the register has been absolutely wonderful. They deserve a raise.

Love the tenders, wraps and sandwiches. Wasn't as impressed with the traditional bone in chicken. It was still tasty but didn't wow me as much as other items on the menu. Love the macaroni and cheese with its subtle spicy kick

Excellent fried chicken, wings, and tenders--vastly superior to local KFCs. All sides we've tried have been excellent. Try the sweet potato fries if you are dining in, they are better that way and theirs are cut uniquely, leading to a more crunchy fry. I'm a sucker for fried onions matter as well and theirs is excellent and plentiful. I sort of wish they had soft drinks from a fountain, but all drinks are a la carte from bottles, although the drink selection is fine with me.

Usually the food is good and it's close to the gym so I stop in here and there. Staff quality has gone down in the last few months. No hellos when you come and in. Not even after having to wait for half a minute or so at the desk for someone to come out of the kitchen to take your order. I said the food is usually good because the frequency of it tasting stale has really gone up as well and they often forget your side orders. Also there is no point in signing up for their points system. They keep telling me I should be getting an email everything I break 100 points to get a free sandwich. Have gotten on since they opened and I've reset the points many times. That's why I'm going somewhere else now.

Best chicken from a fast food-style place I've ever tried. The chicken was perfectly-cooked, unbelievably moist (almost to the point of being 'wet,' if I may dare to say!) and flavorful. Tried the BBQ pulled chicken sandwich, 3-piece Old-school Bone-in Broasterie/Genuine Broaster, kick's stick (i.e. garlic bread), roasted corn, mac n' cheese, and sweet potato fries. Everything was AMAZING. The kick's stick was crispy, soft, perfectly seasoned with a garlic-and-herbs mixture, and toasted just right. The roasted corn was flavorful, crunchy, sweet, and well-portioned. The mac n' cheese was really good- gooey and cheesy. The sweet potato fries were thickly-cut, crispy, pillowy, and flavorful with sprinkled sea salt. (I usually don't like sweet potato fries, but these changed my mind.) I feel like they pay attention to EVERY little detail, from the sauces they use to the bun that they sandwiched the pulled chicken in. The bun was DELICIOUS. It was so well-toasted and the dough itself was airy and light, yet crispy and had a great texture. Is it possible for bread to have great mouth-feel? I don't know but I would bet on it. Even the onion strings on the sandwich were perfectly golden. The service was great. I want to come back and try EVERYTHING on their menu. I wish there were more Kick's Chicken Cafe's around. They even serve beer! =)

My girlfriend and I ordered a large breakfast and split it - waitress didn't even have to ask, she just brought us two plates. Best service we've received since we arrived for a convention in Arlington. I would go back for breakfast and lunch anyday.

My FAVORITE cafe! I don't live in the Naperville/Aurora area but I stumbled upon this place when I had a meeting in that area. So grateful for that because this place is DELICIOUS!!!! It is worth a drive! The wraps are FRESH and MADE TO ORDER! DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!
