15 Best Spots to Eat Under $25 on Sandy Springs’ Restaurant Row | Eater Atlanta

"Don’t be fooled by the chandeliers and industrial glam of this wood-fired Mediterranean restaurant. For under $19, you can order entrees like salmon or wild trout with quinoa and cucumber salsa, lamb skewers with artichokes and portobellos, and 48-hour brined pork chops with white beans. For less, burgers come with house-seasoned kettle chips, and the lunchtime Pick Two is especially a steal when you choose two meat options." - Su-Jit Lin

I took my daughter to this restaurant for Mother's Day, and the atmosphere was trendy, making for an enjoyable experience. However, the service was a bit lacking, which could have been a result of the busy holiday. On the positive side, the food was fantastic! Since it was our first visit, we chose to sample a variety of items from the menu, and we were pleased with our selections. Overall, it was a memorable dining experience.

Since we were a large and somewhat noisy group, we’d reserved a table on the patio, and it was perfect! It helped that it was a gorgeous Spring day too! Everything we ordered was pretty tasty, and we ordered a lot! While the meatballs, the cilantro chicken skewers, the pork chop, tomato basil soup, Brussels sprouts and the beet salad were all good, the favorite was the spicy feta dip which was served with warm, soft pita. The spinach feta dip could’ve used some seasoning, but wasn’t too bad! The service was quick and the staff courteous! Well worth a visit.

Delicious local restaurant specializing in American and Mediterranean cuisine! Indoor and outdoor seating. Came in with a large group and enjoyed the lamb gyros, burgers (with gluten free bun), salads, chicken salad. Everyone enjoyed the octopus and pita with tzatziki appetizers! Topped off lunch with some cheesecake that was also very good. We have been here before and will be back again soon! Parking onsite.

Great place for brunch. Chicken skewers and super grains salad with chicken is a must try. Their cilantro lime sauce is amazing. Half rotisserie chicken is not bad. Make sure to order different meats since in chicken they use rotisserie chicken in everything. Service and ambience were great.

Google
We really enjoyed this resturant, We split a lamb burger & chicken Skewers, house made chips. Lamb Burger 5/5 Excellent flavorful taste even before the chipolte sauce. Chicken skewers 5/5 wood grilled chicken with a mesquite accent of flavor House made chips 4/5 personally i would have enjoyed them warm, but the flavor was good. Bright restaurant industrial decor, with several chandeliers that add elegance to the place. Small bar, but well stocked, $7.00 Moscow Mules on Monday. Drink specials everyday. Great service & friendly staff. Kid Cashew you have been Tongue Tested!!!

Utterly delicious. Every single item we ordered exceeded all of our expectations. We tried the hummus spread (I’m not really a hummus type of guy) and it was absolutely bursting with flavor. The shrimp polenta was simply amazing! The Big Cheese burger was also so flavorful and a large portion with kettle chips! I couldn’t believe how good this place was and I’ll definitely be back to explore the rest of their menu!

This is now my second visit to Kid Cashew and it didn’t miss once again. We did a 40min drive to get there and it was well worth it. The food was amazing, came out in a great and timely manner. The vibes were great, creating yet another pleasant experience. This time around, I ordered the Homemade Hummus, Caesar Avocado & Hearts of Palm Salad which was amazing and very on point to my pleasant surprise. Amazed that their rendition was so spot on to the original thing, very Good. Me and my husband who I came with this time around ordered the Impossible Burger Gyro which came with chips that were on Point. I did add my lil flare as I usually do. I asked if they could add basil, garden greens and their Cesar dressing to my Gyro which they didn’t have a problem doing that took the whole meal to another level. I had an Arnold Palmer which I requested to wash down my meal and even that hit. I was very pleased yet again with my experience and will definitely be back, until next time. 😁

When I dined in, I ordered the salmon caesar salad and it was delicious. The restaurant is nice and the service was great. But today I decided to Door dash lunch and ordered the Gyro and it was delicious too. It also came with homemade chips which were seasoned and they too were delicious! A++for Kid Cashew!

Yelp
Loved this place! Really good food, drinks and service. Our table split the tzatziki, the golden beets and arugula salad, octopus, Mac and cheese, and brussel sprouts. We thought everything was amazing. Great flavors and fresh food. I would absolutely come back.

Yelp
-food was 3 stars :( I think I ordered the wrong things -service was 5 stars! :D -chicken was cooked perfectly but was so salty my mouth was burning -asparagus was also cooked perfectly and well seasoned -wish I had gotten something else because portion felt really small -will come again to try other menu items

Yelp
We've been here a couple of times now, as well as ordered super convenient delivery. The restaurant is small and kitschy, with an inside-a-small-Austin-trailer sort of feel. Walls are adorned with lots of cool photos and things. Seating is spread out enough to not be too cramped. The working kitchen in your face is awesome to watch. The menu is full of fresh, healthy sounding options. Most specifically, anything "wood fired" is excellent. The rotisserie chicken is hot, charred, moist and delicious. The polenta paired with it is buttery, creamy, salty and delicious. The lamb is well marinated, flavorful and cooked perfectly medium, and the sandwich version of this on pita wasn't half bad (the portion is a little small and a little full of more frou frou lettuce than lamb, with an awesome tzatziki). The seasonal sides and small plates are also excellent - specifically the beets with some whipped something and mandarin oranges for a little acid, the meatballs that remind of a gourmet IKEA trip, and any of the dips with breads. My only gripes are the portion sizes are a little small for the price, some of the menu items were a miss (the Caesar salad had a pretty dry piece of salmon on it, the heart of palm was bitter and raw, and it was pretty plain all around - the burger while it sounded awesome was a little too dry and a little too busy). But overall, an excellent option for some Greek inspired New American style faire in the area.

Yelp
Visited kid cashew and it the food was amazing! We always enjoy eating at restaurants where the food tastes fresh and we leave satisfied everytime. I will say however service leaves much to be desired, we were seated and it took 15 minutes for someone to attend us at our table during lunch time. Our food took a very long time to come out and we noticed that we were being treated differently from the other tables around us which was disheartening. The food was great but as far as service I wouldn't go expecting much!

Yelp
More like 3.5. Really well priced. Good food, great service. The side of grits was disappointing. Ambience creates a great Thursday night dinner spot.

Yelp
Party decent visit. The lamb burger was great! Though the hummus is not a flavorful as I finally recalled from previous visits. It was a really nice sunny day on the patio, which definitely adds to the dining experience. The waiststaff could improve, in terms of punctuality - we waited over 20 minutes for the check ... AFTER midday patrons had departed the restaurant. Overall, it was ok.

Yelp
Had a wonderful late lunch at Kid Cashew. The decor gives a bit of vintage. modern and French vibe. Very cute! For starters, we had the octopus served over a bed of quinoa. It was good. We then had the lamb burger. We requested medium but it was served medium well. No biggie. It was still juicy. Their burgers come with chips. They don't serve fries. Chris, our server, was also our bartender. She made a mean spicy mango margarita. We had a couple of rounds of those lol. Service was great! Free parking and they have an outdoor patio you can enjoy while the weather is still great! Go check them out. Close to 285.

Yelp
Kid Cashew is a tapas style restaurant located in Sandy Springs. I've tried a solid amount of menu items from this location and all of my choices have been solid. My personal favorite dish here is the half rotisserie chicken and the grillrd asparagus. I would recommend, if you've ever been curious about this place, try the 2 for $12.95 lunch special and I think the offerings will win you over. If your in the area, I'd recommend pulling up if you've ever been curious.

Yelp
This is a nice spot in Sandy Springs, great décor with indoor and outdoor seating and free parking. The staff was friendly, we just had their small plates. The Brussel sprouts I wasn't a fan of them they didn't have much flavor. I enjoyed the mac n cheese and the cilantro lime chicken skewers.

Yelp
I work walking distance from Kid Cashew. I went there for the first time yesterday, February 6. I had their all natural, wood fired, chicken and avocado sandwich. It was excellent. Nice, crisp whole grain bread, Gouda cheese, tomato, garden greens, and cilantro yogurt sauce. It's worth going back for. My wife was pleased with her food as well. Service was great, server was friendly. The place is extremely casual, but nice. Large dining area. Just a smidge pricier than I usually spend for lunch, but not too bad.

Yelp
Finally decided to try this place for lunch last week since we had extra time running errands. All of us decided to give the Lunch Pick 2 a go since we could try a little bit of everything. We liked everything ordered (sausage and beans, beet salad, mac & cheese, 1/2 chicken sandwich), and the only one that didn't seem to be quite as good as the others was the beef burger. Ultimately, while tasting pretty good the burger buns were too big for the single patty (likely because the burger is usually 2 beef patties and the lunch pick 2 size burger is only 1 patty). Don't feel I would choose the burger again but the others would bring me back. Service was quick, but I didn't expect anything different since we were the first ones there when they opened.

Yelp
The food was good! The cocktails were a little too sweet. Service was ok. Overall yummy place to eat.

Yelp
They have indoor and outdoors seating. They have music playing in the background so it's not a quiet spot, but it's not allowed in abrasive type of music. Everything seems pretty made to order so the food came hot and fresh. It's a really large shot so they're plenty of seats even if you can't see that from the street. They have free parking and it's plenty. And you can park in the lot next door as well if you want. They have a bar that is a decent size bar. It's got a full bar like you would expect package 20 people, but it's a nice size bar. The lush special is actually pretty cool. You get two things to choose from the lunch menu for above $13. If you are very famished, this may not be the thing you pick, but if you want a lighter lunch, this is a good selection. Asparagus - Pretty decent The meatball trio - Good taste, kind of wanted more lol Burger - It was a good burger, it was smaller than I thought, but at the same time, it was good tasting so I was not mad at it. Mac and cheese - Savory skillet dish. Very cheesy. Not your aunt's mac and cheese, but still good (would try again). For a good lunch time special, this was worth it.

Yelp
Whether ordering from Uber or dining in person, Kid Cashew will always be a hit! Every time the flavors are delicious and the food is hot. I'm just so glad I stumbled upon this spot! The decor is cutesy, nothing too crazy, and while the parking lot is tiny, I didn't have an issue with parking. The hostess and server were nice and the food came quickly and was super fresh! I've tried the rotisserie chicken, shrimp and polenta, French toast, and salmon. Everything is a 10/10!

Yelp
Absolutely awesome!!! I'm always looking for a place that has octopus and they delivered. Nice char and very tender. The mac and cheese was superb. The meatballs are a must. Don't forget the spinach and feta.

Yelp
We love this restaurant, Great food and service One of the best burgers in Atlanta Highly recommend it

Yelp
This place is great! I've been here a few times and tried a good number of their small plates. All that I have tried have been delicious. The Mac and cheese is creamy and extra cheesy. I'd recommend their chicken skewers. The sauce on them is incredible. With 2 people, 3 small plates were enough to fill us up. All of the small dishes I've had were actually pretty substantial. The interior has a cute vibe. They have a lot of different framed photos that makes it eclectic.

Yelp
I have been here twice now about 12 months apart and the experience and quality of the food was still amazing the 2nd time around as it was the 1st time. Kid Cashew really is a hidden gem in Sandy Springs that can satisfy all cravings at an amazing budget. First time I ever been to a restaurant, ordered 6 different menu items, ate really well, and each item was less than $15. Will DEFINITELY come back here more often.

Yelp
We came to Kid Cashew to send my brother back home to Philadelphia after Christmas, and what a great choice it was for a send-off! It was very easy to get a reservation for 6 on a Friday night the night before The decoration is eclectic, with black & white art and framed mirrors peppering the walls. The lighting is provided through a mix of chandeliers and Edison-style lightbulbs Service was fast - we got our drinks within 5 minutes, and our server was very attentive. We got our food quickly, too, despite being told that it might take a little while. As an appetizer, we got the dip trio with pita and vegetables. My husband doesn't like most hummus, but he LOVED this hummus. My favorite dip was the tzatziki with cucumbers, and my husband's favorite was the feta dip. We got a second round of pita bread, which was more hot and flavorful than the first. We all ordered small plates, and since it's a tapas restaurant, the food came out as it was ready instead of all at once. However, most of the dishes were ready around the same time, so no one was waiting too long to eat. Between the two of us, we split three small plates. The first was chicken skewers, and they were to die for with tender meat and tangy sauce. This was the smallest of the plates we ordered, so plan to order more if you plan on eating it. Next we had the meatballs. These were pretty basic, but the gravy was savory and hot. They were a great dish to split, served in a cast iron skillet. The highlight of our meal was the creamy mac n cheese. Also served in a cast iron skillet, the spiral noodles were covered in a cheesy sauce and all coated in a melty layer of cheese to top it all off. I only got a Diet Coke, but everyone who had a cocktail (pictured) loved them. We'll absolutely be back!

Yelp
The food is always very good! There is a good variety for meat-eaters and vegetarians. The staff is super nice and attentive!

Yelp
This place has such a cool vibe.we got seated quickly on a Friday night around 7:45..the menu is pretty cool with the options of getting small plates We started out with the shrimp and polenta, omg, this was incredible!! Wow. I had the pork chop which was so good, my son had lamb chop skewers, he enjoyed that.. great service, perfect night

Yelp
Wooooow! Kid Cashew is top notch! I'm upset that it took me so long to finally try it! I could have been coming here for months! I've been looking for a place with authentic Mediterranean food and I think I finally found it! There were only a few parties in the restaurant while we were there and the entire restaurant felt very intimate. The interior decor is very cool! A lot of Muhammad Ali and goat memorability! One of the staff members explained that the goat is their mascot and since Ali is the GOAT, he's commemorated in the restaurant! We started with the Hummus, a solid choice that came freshly made! The pita bread was warm and they gave us so many pieces. We had a decent amount of leftovers, which is always a bonus. For our main course, we ordered the Salmon and the 1/2 Rotisserie Chicken. WOW. In my option, the salmon was the perfect amount of food! It was cooked perfectly and came with a cucumber salad on a bed on quinoa. It was very tasty! I do wish the salmon came with a sauce but I was able to use the leftover hummus and the sauces that came with the chicken. They really complemented the dish! The salmon also comes served in olive oil. It was a nice touch, although there was a lot on my plate so my quinoa was hard to get to. The chicken was the star of the dish! It was cooked to perfection and it was a LOT of food! It actually doesn't come with sides, which completely makes sense! It is a very filling portion. I did not try the Quinoa Stuffed Avocado, however, I was told it was delicious! It was all tasty! I really enjoyed it! My only complaint would be about the service. Unfortunately, our waiter was not very attentive but thankfully, the other members of the wait staff were lovely! We only saw him occasionally and would have to call someone else over to help us throughout the meal. It truly is a minor complaint but since there were only a few other customers there, it was very notable that he was not present during the meal. Overall, Kid Cashew was a stellar experience! Loved the food, the ambiance, and the majority of the staff! I can't wait to visit again. I've found my new go-to Mediterranean spot! Happy Eating!!

Yelp
This is a brunch review and may not apply for lunch and dinner scenarios. I came in with two friends for brunch over the weekend and this place was busy ish. The thing that made us choose this place was because they are very vegan friendly (one of my friends is a vegan). They even gave her drip coffee with almond milk and I want to appreciate them for being inclusive. We ordered quinoa stuffed avocado and hummus as appetizers. My friend got a cashew stack. I got the shrimp and grits. My other friend got the vegan Caesar salad. First impressions? They all looked great. Taste-wise: it was a mixed bag. The appetizers were really good. The stack was meh. The Caeser salad was passable. The shrimp and grits tasted okay. The wow factor was missing. However, I want to support this place for being really inclusive with different dietary restrictions and for being fairly priced with most things. Service was flawless and the ambience is a vibe with the chandeliers. Not a very date brunch spot, but definitely a great place to meet friends.

Michele C.

Yelp
Was at a nearby bike shop and just searched for a place to eat as we were starving. Found Kid Cashew. Food- excellent. I am vegetarian so the vegan options were appreciated. Partner had the meatballs, he's harder to please and he was very pleased with the food. He ate part of my vegan Caesar salad and really liked the dressing. Service was polite and timely Good music playing. Bathrooms clean. Has an outdoor patio, although we sat inside. Highly recommend!!

Yelp
I dined at Kid Cashew with my team for lunch. We ordered an appetizer trio with hummus, spicy feta, and tzatziki + Brussels sprouts. The dips were delicious had mine with carrots/celery) but the Brussels took forever and didn't come out until after our main course was served. I had a Greek salad. It was fresh and just enough to satisfy me. Around the table, I saw several lamp skews and even some Mac n cheese. No complaints from anyone. Service was terrific. I can't recall the servers name, but she was fun and spunky. She was responsive and gave us great suggestions. My only complaint (albeit minor) - it was freeeeezing in the dining room. We wanted to sit on the patio, but our party was too large to accommodate with the small tables.

Yelp
Update 7.16.2023. I came with my Sister who's been wanting to try Kid Cashew. This worked for me as I've ordered Take Out from here a few times before. My dine-in expectation was easily met. Great service, good food & doable prices. I love the Bohemian atmosphere & patio flow. The menu offers a small, dedicated plant-based section that is creative & pretty tasty. We ordered the Impossible Gyro, Quinoa Stuffed Avocado, Baked Feta & Spinach Dip & the Lamb & Lime Marinated Chicken Skewers. Everything was in good portions & tasted great. Service was excellent while we enjoyed a relaxing dinner outside.

Yelp
Just left for a late lunch. I ordered the pick two, cheeseburger and mac & cheese. I asked for tomatoes and onions, mayonnaise and mustard. The waitress failed to mention the up charge on all of those additional condiments and items. When I brought it to the manager's attention, she was rude, disrespectful, and had a serious attitude. Her communication style was completely unnecessary and all I asked was that moving forward, servers communicate the additional charge. I come here far too frequently to be met with such hostility from the female manager. I understand that being a food service worker is not easy, but to take your frustration because you fail to communicate out on the customer is completely unprofessional.
google avatar

Christie B.

Yelp
The food was good highly recommend the five cheese macaroni! The wait on a Saturday wasn't horrible, but they did have a lot of reservations. Didn't try a cocktail, but hope to go back and do so. The Brussels were my second favorite item, my boyfriend loved octopus and he rated theirs average.

Yelp
Kid Cashew is a cute little spot in the Sandy Springs area. We had a reserverion for 1:15p.m. and was seated promptly with no wait. It wasn't crowded when we went, so I'm not sure if later in the evening this could be an issue or not. You don't have to worry about parking even though the lot is small. IT'S FREE!!! LOL.. Our server, forgive me. I forgot his name with the British accent was very attentive and engaging. Kudos to you, sir! We ordered rather quickly, and the food came out in no time. I had the lemon ricotta French toast with a side of quinoa stuffed avocado. This dish can be made to be a full or half portion, and I went with the half. Both dishes were amazing. I loved the sauce on the avocado it had a bit of spice/heat to it. ..Yum! Would definitely get that again. You can either order from the brunch or lunch/ dinner menu. The drinks were on point, service and food. I'm definitely keeping Kid Cashew on my list.

Yelp
A delicious meal! This place was so good and everything extremely fresh. The food was so flavorful and the service was good. I loved how they had marked gluten free on the menu. We will be back!

Yelp
I have had this spot on my list to check out for a long time. I finally made my way to this spot on a Saturday for lunch. Parking- I was a little confused if it was on the left or the right of the restaurant. If you are coming from 285 the restaurant is on your left hand side and the parking lot is in front of the building is their lot. Hopefully that makes sense and is helpful information. I was immediately greeted when I walked in. There were only a few patrons so I basically had the option to sit wherever I wanted. My wait staff greeted me quickly and took my drink order. We had a brief conversation about the menu. I opted for the wood fire grilled octopus ( lemon vinaigrette & oregano leaves served on a bed of quinoa) to start. I ordered the Wood-Fire Portobello Gyro ( hummus, garden greens, tomato, basil, chipotle sauce on a toasted pita ) for my entree. The food came out quickly. If I had to pick my favorite of the two items I ordered I would say I enjoyed the octopus the most. However, I can't say that either item was so memorable that I would have to have it again. Overall, I enjoyed the ambience, and the service. The food was good, but not great. If provided an opportunity to go again, I would go.

Yelp
Kid Cashew is located on Roswell Rd in Sandy Springs, GA. This restaurant is kind of hidden so be sure to slow down or you may miss it but let me tell you, once you make a right or left into the parking lot you are in for a treat! This Mediterranean restaurant is absolutely amazing and it's a run don't walk kind of establishment. Every time I dine here, I am greeted promptly and the servers are always accommodating and very knowledgeable of the menu. Another thing I love about the customer service is when you ask your server what is tasty on the menu, they always make great recommendations but to be honest everything on the menu is absolutely delicious so you really can't go wrong. My friend and I went last Sunday for a Sunday Funday and dined on the patio. I know, Georgia has had a hot summer but we wanted some fresh air. Kid Cashew has specials Monday through Sunday and on Sunday they have brunch, $4 Mimosas & $7 Bloody Marys. We of course came for the Mimosas! We ended up getting a pitcher that cost $35 but it was well worth it. When it comes to the menu. Kid Cashew has a lot of items to choose from. They have shareable plates you can share with your guest or you can add them on as a side for Wood Fire Grill items. My friend and I decided to order the All-Natural Half Rotisserie Chicken, Lamb Skewers, Cast Iron Mac & 5 Cheeses and the Brussels sprouts and man let me tell you it was all delicious. The All-Natural Half Rotisserie Chicken is brined for 48 hrs and is super tender and juicy. It comes with a cilantro yogurt & tzatziki. It is placed on the wood fire grill and when I tell you the smell of the seasoning on this chicken is so savory it will make you come crawling back for more. The Lamb was very delicious, tender and flavorful as wellOOh . The Cast Iron Mac & 5 Cheeses is a mic drop. The mornay sauce tossed over the noodles with the 5 cheeses is a show stopper. This Mac & Cheese is the only Mac & Cheese I would ever order and bring as a side item to someones party because it's that good and I promise it would be the star of the whole evening. It would have everyone asking who made this?! Oh, Kid Cashew did. Who? Kid Cashew in Sandy Springs. Run don't walk. lol The Brussel Sprouts also are one of my favorites because they are tossed with almonds and are caramelized with lemon vinaigrette. I'm just sitting here reminiscing on how tasty and satisfying these were. You get a good portion so it's enough. Trust me! If you can't tell already, I really love dining at this restaurant and I highly recommend that everyone try this place out. Oh and please try their Peach Please Mule. On Monday they have a special for $7 mules and let me tell you it hits the spot and so does that price. The Peach Please is refreshing, fruity and very tasty! I give my dining experience and the food a 10/10! Thanks Kid Cashew. You're the best!

Yelp
I regularly come back for their shawarma it is sooo good. The ambience is nice in the restaurant too for a casual dinner.

Yelp
This is my favorite restaurant in all of Sandy springs. As a vegetarian, it's hard for me to find protein options at most restaurants. I usually have to stick to a select few options of side items. At kid Cashew, I have free rein of their menu! I can sub any meat for the impossible burger, I can make most of their options vegan, and I can choose from a wide variety of healthy veggies!
google avatar

Dave B.

Yelp
Met a colleague for lunch at this convenient location. Had already viewed the menu online which drew me in. The extensive vegan selections will bring me back in order to experience what else the menu has to offer I enjoyed the pita sandwich! Great service snd we did not feel rushed as we enjoyed our meal and caught up.

Yelp
I've been here for lunch a couple of times, and my advice is this:go to Fresh Market or Publix, buy and serve yourself part of a rotisserie chicken and half of a tiny avocado with an tinier portion of quinoa in it instead of coming to this restaurant. This place is totally overrated and serves basic food that is absolutely nothing special. Less importantly, who was the focus group when deciding the name of this place?
google avatar

Queenie D.

Yelp
Some of THE BEST food I've had in a restaurant in a long while. Don't walk, RUN towards this place. I had a whole half of rotisserie chicken and polenta ... it was less than $16 ... FOR DINNER. In this day and age, say WHAT? Came here for a dinner with girl friends, and everyone loved the food. I was super impressed at how yummy and moist and flavorful and all heavenly deliciousness was going on in my plate. It was nothing over engineered. It was a simple plate of food made with so much love and pride. Service was so lovingly attentive and thoughtful. The ambiance was chic. The service was quick. AND they have drink specials? We went on a Tuesday and they had $4 beers. I don't drink, but my friends do, and they def enjoyed that. All in all, I'm absolutely in love with this place. This is definitely my new go to when in Sandy springs. Y'all are doing the damn thing out here. YAS! YAS! YASSSSSSSSSSSS !!

Yelp
Went to Kid Cashew tonight for the first time. So far I can give 3 stars to the food and the 4th star is for Alicia, the bartender, and the rest of the staff. Great cocktails. They have half price happy hour on a few of them! Nice!!! We tried the grilled octopus, the Lamb Skewers and took a Big Mac Daddy to go. Loved the lamb but would recommend cooking it medium to keep the meat more tender. I am an octopus lover, I order it everywhere I dine and this one did not impress me much. Let's see how the burger is later on tonight. Will go back to try more and hopefully add another star!

Yelp
Great Mediterranean restaurant in Sandy Springs, featuring a large variety of food. Definitely don't need to be into Mediterranean food to come here as there is something for everyone. I came in for brunch and everything was delicious. Quick service and the interior as well as exterior of the restaurant was set up nicely!

Yelp
Excellent experience all the way around and the service was good and food got to the table quickly on a Saturday night! Also was able to accommodate a change in party for the reservation- great staff! We came last minute so I didn't know what to expect and was VERY excited to see such a varied, interesting and allergen knowledgeable menu. Private parking, high tables, bar and half booths. Wine and beer selection was delightful and refreshing- had a 4 person, 2 person and single menus.

Yelp
Kid Cashew's food has so much flavor, in my humble opinion, if you don't like them, you don't have taste. I've had their chicken skewers, meatballs, and macaroni and cheese, and although I was initially taken aback by the portion size, the flavor and quality of the food won me over!

Yelp
I had dinner with a friend at Kid Cashew. When I arrived the hostess asked if I had a reservation. She told me only bar seating or outside was available. There were a lot of empty tables, but I was told they were all reserved. We decided to sit at the bar. The bartender took a while to come over and take my drink over. I ordered the Here's Johnny which was a gin based cocktail and my friend had the Breakfast at Tiffany's. For food we had the lamb skewers and the quinoa stuffed avocado for a $3 up charge and the roasted salmon. The food was really good. I was a little surprised when I got my bill that I had 2 extra drinks on my ticket that were not mine. I notified the bartender of the error and she removed them. Overall I enjoyed Kid Cashew and will return again. wasn't aware that reservations are encouraged

Yelp
I pass by this restaurant all the time on the way to work, but never stopped in. I decided to try them out for a late lunch. The restaurant has a parking lot, so parking was pretty easy. I walked in and there were plenty of available tables, but I decided to sit at the bar. The bartender was very friendly and courteous. She said that I arrived at a good time because they start to get packed around 5pm. I wasn't too hungry, so I decided to go with appetizers. I ordered the hummus with pita and the octopus. Those appetizers were just enough food for me. The Wood-Fire Grilled Spanish Octopus had a lemon vinaigrette on it, which gave it more flavor...but it had a very strong lemon flavor. I will probably stop by again to try some of the entrees. They also have brunch!

Yelp
I have never been disappointed by anything I have ordered at Kid Cashew. I tried it on a whim on Uber eats. First thing I ordered was the stuffed avocado. It's stuff with quinoa, lettuce, tomato and drizzled with a nice spicy dressing. I was sad I only ordered half. I have had the lamb burger, lamb and chicken skewers, chicken, trout, asparagus, meatballs and white beans...probably a lot more than I have mentioned here. Please try it if you haven't!! Just ordered again last night!!!!!

Yelp
We first ate at Kid Cashew shortly after the opened in Sandy Springs. The food quality and the service were so abysmal that I never returned. Many positive reviews since that visit convinced me that I should give them another visit. We ate there again because my wife suggested it and didn't remember our first visit. Wow! My pork chop was excellent, as were the white beans under it. Service was perfect. I am glad we tried them again.

Yelp
It was a former-colleague reunion meetup, or "girls just wanna have lunch", so I was at the mercy of somebody else picking where we went. Not that I'd get in the way of that decision with this crew (ever), but Kid Cashew battled the cold, gray weather outside with some warm, toasty menu items. As this is "wood-fired, Mediterranean-inspired" it was going to be a rough choice for me. Do I want wood or Mediterranean? I think...both. After much gabbing and catching-up etc, our server finally convinced us to get serious about our choices. To this point I was thinking chicken or lamb (when in Rome). What's better than a 1/2 chicken (except a whole chicken), and the lamb items were looking tasty. Plus you get tzatziki so who wouldn't be in? Then the curveball: our local friend and Sandy Springs legend says I'd be remiss not to pick the Big Mac Daddy. Okay I'll entertain the argument. The server sweetens the pot, telling me it's a top-pick fave. Then Ms Sandy Springs delivers the push off the cliff: "it's better than McD's". What? Okay throw caution to the wind; I'll go for it. Lots of buildup to report it was all that, and homemade chips to boot. Those around were busy imbibing in skillet meatballs, skillet Brussels, skillet spinach & feta dip, skillet etc. These all looked amazing and the Brussels were crispy as they should be. You salad types will be happy with Super Grains & Avocado or Garden Greek. That might be a nice filler for me, somewhere between salmon or lamb burger next time. Vegetarian and vegan choices abound, and the Lunch Pick 2 was nice for those who wanted to keep the appearance of moderation (meanwhile don't look at me eating this giant burger). I'll return with my wife, maybe play some bocce ball outside when it's warmer, and look forward to some other wood-Med creations at Kid Cashew.

Yelp
Love the interior decor. The food is also pretty delicious. I enjoyed every dish and appetizer we tried. My entree was the rainbow trout, it was so good that even the skin on the trout was flavorful. We also enjoyed the strength of our cocktails and we even tried a few desserts. I really enjoyed the lemon bar & baklava. The staff here was very attentive and it's really nice knowing the food is fresh and never frozen

Yelp
Food is great, service is lacking. Don't order the lamb burger if you are expecting to try their red onion marmalade. Apparently they only have caramelized onions and only added the words to jazz up the menu item.

Yelp
Not worthy of the hype, the reviews must be paid for. I ordered the chicken skewers and they took forever to come out and were so small that it was comical. The Brussel sprouts were tasteless and very oily. One and done!
