Yelp
I discovered Kids & Coffee through Instagram, and the concept didn't disappoint from our experience this holiday season. Before I share the details of our time there, let's start with the reservation process.
When you're making your reservations, if the system locks you out from further booking, it is because they've met their capacity. I believe it's about 45 at any given time, and the reason for this is so that families don't feel overwhelmed or overcrowded from a safety and experiential perspective.
If you have questions about booking or have any issues, email them through their website. The owners are responsive and accommodating within reason. My only feedback to the owners would be to make sure the staff is aware of any questions that may come across their path. Other than that, I was pleased with the accommodations and support that Vivian, the owner provided us with our reservation.
The experience we had from checking in to departure was attentive and frjendly. It was amazing to see Vivian and her husband both present welcoming and hosting all the families who came in, and they're very hands on and interactive. And, that goes a long way as they've opened up a new concept and space for the local community and visiting families.
This play space concept is very similar to ones we have in Asia, and it was great to see how they've adopted it here. Everything was clean, well built, and we loved how adults and their littles could shake their wiggles out together.
For us, we didn't wait in the cafe while our little one played because he was under 2 years. But playing as a family created space for us to discover our inner child while nurturing a playful environment with our baby boy.
They had everything from ball pits, climbing structures, cushioned areas corner to corner for safety, bead pools (instead of a sandbox), play kitchen, slides and so much more.
The cafe was our last stop when our little one got hungry, and enjoyed a snack while we grabbed a coffee and latte.
Their restrooms included indoor shoes so families could maintain cleanliness in and out of play area.
Socks with grips are also required for little ones, and if you forget, let the staff know. It's for the safety of our littles to have grip socks to climb the structures.
Last but not least, pricing wise, for us it was $15 for an adult with an infant under 2 years old. Additional adults were $10 each. If you do have a child older than 2 years old, it'll be $30 for an adult and child and additional adults will also be $10 each. This pricing is reasonable, and for locals, they also have membership pricing for each month.
Hope this helps for anyone exploring this space!
