What a nice place to eat and drink with friends. Great vibe! Waitress was awesome. Asked her opinion between the fish and chips and the chicken sandwich…but before she could answer I just told her to pick and surprise me. She did not disappoint when she brought me the chicken sandwich!! Guinness was so good!!!! Then when asked how good the cheese cake was she said it was worth it….AGAIN…she did not do me wrong. Next time I come to town I’m coming back!

Walked in and was immediately seated and asked what I would like to drink! My server then gave me menus and brought my drink right over! This was a massive change from the bar across the street that I had just left after I had sat at a table for 10 minutes and had been completely ignored so I left and came to Kiernan's... Super glad I did, as the food and service were outstanding! The patio is fantastic! The ambiance is great! If you are going to a game downtown, go early and stop by to get a drink and some food!

Loved the bangers and mash! My wife got the Pub Pot pie which was also amazing! They ran out of Harps which I guess is a good sign. Friendly staff and quick service! The poetry room is pretty 🤩

Kieran's Irish Pub is exactly that - an Irish Pub! The servers are as friendly as can be and the food is delicious - from traditional Irish fare to Minnesota-frirndly food! There is a vast selection of craft beers, mixed drinks, na options, wines and more. There is a lot of hand-carved wood, beautiful stained glass and numerous other details making the atmosphere of the pub delightful!

My three friends and I came here before going to the Twins game. The food was great and there were plenty of options for drinks. Our server was super helpful in providing guidance to my picky friends and our items arrived promptly when ordered. I remember coming here after a Timberwolves game and had a similarly great experience. For that I'm grateful and I'll keep the place in mind for future plans. 5 stars from me!

My wife and I stopped in for dinner before going to a concert at First Avenue. I had Fish & Chips and she had Greens & Grain with Salmon. The food was excellent. Unfortunately, the rest wasn't. Staff were generally rushed and rude - the guy that brought out our food seemed genuinely surprised that we also wanted cutlery, and when we mentioned we were still waiting for drinks, pretty much said that wasn't his job. My wife ordered a ginger-cherry mocktail, and was given a can of ginger beer instead. When we asked about it, the server said about the drink being flavored. No, they got the order wrong. Of course, by this point, we couldn't really follow up. While we were eating, a band started playing. Very, very, loudly. We were not near the stage but we had no chance of conversation. The band there was louder than the one we saw later at First Avenue. And then the check comes, and there is a 5% service charge (not a tip!). Apparently, the service charge is in the fine print on the menu, but that's exactly the sort of dickery that makes me not want to back to a restaurant. Oh, and the first beer I tried to order, they were out of. And the second beer I tried to order, they were out of. Excellent food, I don't plan to go back anytime soon.

Off night last night I’m sure. Been to Kieran’s other places and always had good food and great service. Was in town for a show at First Avenue. Stopped in for a quick bite before the show. Sign said wait to to be seated, but no host ever came. Sat at the bar and ordered a beer and wine. Ordered food a few minutes later just a chicken sandwich and salad. Maybe 30 minutes later another couple ordered food, theirs came 10 minutes later. So like 50 minutes after ordering we needed to leave. Got a sincere apology but also no offer to comp our beer and wine. Pretty disappointing. Food might have been good if we ever would’ve got it. Probably won’t stop back.
