"This Thai restaurant, with locations in Rockville and Vienna, keeps things interesting with options like a fried tofu larb; street food dishes like boat noodle soup; and monthly specials a jack fruit dip served with pork rinds and sticky rice and “night bazaar chili flounder” in chili garlic sauce. Dine in or get takeout or delivery through each location’s own website." - Missy Frederick, Tierney Plumb, Stephanie Carter

The food was DELICIOUS!! You get to control how spicy you want it. We went with spice level 2 on the drunken noodles. Super yummy snd flavorful with a nice spicy kick to it. So many good options I had no idea what to pick. I want to go back and try the desert options! And also make SURE to try the Thai Tea or the Thai green tea. Delicious and plating is so nice

This is my second time here and this time the dishes we ordered is just amazing. We got carb fried rice and pork leg both had flavorful and rich taste. They do monthly menu so worth to visit it once a while. Really enjoy looking at their decorations in the restaurant as well.

Google
We discovered Kiin Imm Thai when we had a craving for authentic Thai cuisine, and the reviews were good. The food has been delicious every time, even when we order takeout. Make sure to sign up for their text alerts since they often offer discounts. They are one of only two Thai restaurants in the area that we like and trust.

Google
Some of the most flavorful dishes I’ve tasted. Panang curry had strong flavor and I wish it had more broccoli/vegetables but it was delicious. Drunken noodles were well balanced. The thai teas here tend to be very sweet which was okay with me as we had water as well but something to look out for. I tried pineapple fried rice last time and I remember it being very good as the sweetness in the cooked pineapples worked well with the cashews in the dish.

Google
What a cute place! Food is also delicious, so much so that I went twice in the past two weeks. I got pad thai twice, but also got catfish, wonton soup, heavenly pork, and a warm taro dessert. My favorites are definitely the heavenly pork and pad thai. Taro dessert was not too sweet, so it was really good! I'll definitely come again!

Google
Certainly! Here’s the revised review: Kiin Imm Thai Restaurant in Rockville, MD, is a delightful spot for authentic Thai cuisine that truly satisfies. The ambiance is warm and inviting, blending modern decor with a touch of traditional Thai charm. It’s a great place for both casual dining and special occasions. The menu offers a fantastic variety of dishes, each packed with fresh ingredients and bold flavors. The Pad Thai is perfectly balanced, not overly sweet, and the Drunken Noodles have just the right amount of spice. Their Tom Yum soup is a standout—zesty, aromatic, and comforting. The Dancing Pork Belly is a must-try, with tender, flavorful meat and a savory glaze. The Godzilla Fried Rice is another crowd-pleaser, loaded with delicious toppings and a unique smoky aroma. For a fresh and tangy starter, the Papaya Salad delivers the perfect combination of crunch and zest. What truly sets Kiin Imm apart is their attention to detail and accommodating service. The staff are friendly, attentive, and happy to recommend dishes or adjust spice levels to your preference. The prices are reasonable for the quality and portions, and they offer both dine-in and takeout options, making it convenient for any occasion. Whether you’re a Thai food enthusiast or new to the cuisine, Kiin Imm is definitely worth a visit. Let me know if you’d like more tweaks!

Google
if you love boat noodles, this is the right place. The noodles are rich and flavorful, with tender meat and a tasty broth. The vibe is cozy and authentic. The serving time can be a bit slow, so be prepared to wait. But once the food arrives, it’s worth it!

Google
I love Thai food, and the meal I had at Kiin Imm Thai was super good. Excellent Chicken Satay and the Heavenly Pork was delicious also. The Chicken Drunken Noodles (Pad Kee Mao) were also fabulous. Prices are very reasonable and portion sizes generous. I hope to dine here again during my week in Rockville.

Yelp
Oh my! This is the absolute best Thai meal I have had anywhere in the Rockville/Bethesda area. The best. I read the reviews, and I will not be the last person to agree that this is a restaurant that is friendly, attractive, has good service and makes really delicious Thai dishes. Our sample size was 3 dishes: Tom Ka Gai (the broth is unreal in its flavor!), and two curry dishes Green Chicken Curry and Panang Chicken Curry. The green curry tastes fresh and it has a slow glow of heat, really creamy broth that found every taste bud in my mouth. The Panang curry is seductive with a pronounced peanut thickness to it. It is killer. All three of these dishes were excellent, I mean really top drawer dishes. I. Must. Return. Thai restaurants like Kiin Imm display the cultural artistry and decorative skills of the Thai people. I find the cuisine in this restaurant to be authentic to the nature of the Thai and it is both delicious and beautiful!

Yelp
3.5-4 Stars for this Thai restaurant. We walked in on a Saturday and were greeted and seated right away. Small restaurant (sears about 30 people) with very cute decor and a def hustle and bustle. We ordered: - Spicy Catfish dish wasn't (served) hot (hubs biggest complaint) but nice that it was not deathly spicy and had good portions of vegetables. - Dancing Pork Belly & Chinese Broccoli - Sauce the dish was cooked in was well done, but pork belly was tough and a large portion of Chinese broccoli stems were bitter. - Mango & Sticky Rice - Mango was soft and sweet and not tart. The kids loved the mangos more than the sticky rice (which was not pillowy soft and more on the clumped together, coagulated side). We ordered and ate in 30 minutes; the food came out super quick. Service was friendly but felt a tad rushed, I get it, they were trying to slam in as many customers for dinner service as possible. We weren't offered chopsticks and I didn't see anyone nearby with them either, so I am assuming this restaurants caters more to Westerners. It's not necessarily worth the drive here, but if you're in the area and craving some Thai, then this place is worth a try.

Yelp
Super nice family owned business. Place was very clean and everyone had a smile on their face. Super attentive! Food- Spring Rolls were very good. Kao Soi w/ Chicken- Top 3 best I ever had. Sauce was so good. Spicy. Kind of thick like I like it. Chicken was very tender. The whole dish exploded with flavor in my mouth ! Haha Will be back when I visit again.

Yelp
Kiin Imm Thai is definitely up there with my favorite Thai places in Rockville, and is usually the preferred Thai restaurant in the area whenever I go out to eat with friends, so it's time to show some love in a Yelp review. The décor of the place is nice and cozy, slightly dimly lit mood lighting, and pretty floral ceiling decorations. For food, my most recent visit we got the Basil Pork Crisp and Panang Curry with Chicken, two of my favorite Thai dishes! I love the combination of the meat, sauce, and chilis with the basil pork crisp; The flavors of the Thai basil, and the spice from the chilis, really accentuate the savory garlicy sauce, and when you get a bite of tender pork belly it's fantastic. The flavors in the panang were delicious and coming through: the coconut milk, the spices from the curry paste, always delicious with your choice of protein and some rice. My only issue with the food this time around was that some pieces of the pork belly on the basil pork crisp were dry and a bit difficult to eat, but not a huge problem, as I understand when deep frying pieces of meat the edge pieces can get easily overcooked. Service was friendly and they did their best to get us seated during their busy dinner rush, the restaurant can get filled up pretty quickly so expect a possible wait time if you go during a weekend dinner.

Yelp
This restaurant is located in the Ritchie Center in Rockville. Free parking is available at the center, and prior reservations are recommended. The restaurant is nice and clean, with a good ambiance. The food and service are quite good, and the portions are large, making it great for sharing and trying a variety of dishes. Highly recommended.

Yelp
Have wanted to try this place for a while since we smell deliciousness when we're nearby. Stopped by today for lunch with a girlfriend. The place is cozy and kind of small but it was nice and cute. My girlfriend got there earlier and ordered the chicken satay (very tasty) and the shrimp dumplings (she didn't love them and I don't eat shrimp). I ordered the drunken noodle with chicken, really good and right amount of spice. My friend had the yum yum soup, which she enjoyed. She said it had nice spice and it was cute ... looked like it had a little bow on it. We also tried the mango sticky rice for dessert. I'd never had it, it was warm, green and sweet but not super sweet. It was different but still good. The service was good and quick, and the prices were reasonable, with generous portions.

Yelp
Small dining area like many Thai restaurants. Service not great. 2 of 3 dishes were good however one was not enjoyed.

Oz E.

Yelp
Called ahead to make a reservation and the restaurant was able to accommodate our large party of 11. Our server was incredibly efficient and both took our order and served us our food quickly. The food itself was great. Every single meal was well made and had good flavors. Overall no complaints. Definitely a spot worth checking out, but make sure to call ahead as it is a small place.

Yelp
I recently went to Kinn Imm Thai after a night of figure skating and had a wonderful experience. Despite being busy, I took it as a good sign and tried it out. Food: The food was exceptional, starting with the crispy chive cakes, a perfect way to begin the meal. Surprisingly, the onion was not overwhelming, and the umami sauce and crispy/chewy texture left me wanting more. One convenient feature of the restaurant is that you can choose the spice level of your dish. Since I love spicy food, I opted for the highest spice level for my drunken noodles and was not disappointed. Although my eyes were watering, I was joyfully enjoying the food. The balance of flavors and heat was perfect. The spicy flounder was also a delight, served with green beans, peppers, pickled purple cabbage, and carrot. The beautiful colors on the plate and the sauce the fish is tossed in is a balanced amount of heat with a hint of sweetness. Service: Once seated, the service was fast and efficient. We ordered our food ahead of time while waiting for a table, and by the time we were seated, our food was served within 10 minutes. Ambiance: The ambiance is so beautiful and well-decorated. While waiting for my meal, I couldn't help but admire all the small details around the room. However, it is worth noting that the restaurant can be pretty loud. Overall: Kinn Imm Thai is an exceptional restaurant, as The Washington Post highlights. The fast service, delicious food, and beautiful ambiance make it a must-visit for anyone looking for an authentic Thai meal.

Yelp
Whenever one of my fellow Yelpers recommends a restaurant, I already know the food is going to be delicious. This spot was recommended so I stopped by for lunch. I arrived pretty soon after they opened so I was the first one here that day. My go to is shrimp fried rice but they had basil fried rice, which is even better. I love the taste of basil in fried rice. The shrimp in the rice were a nice size and I love that they used small chunks of fresh vegetables, like peppers, onions, tomatoes, & green beans. Next time, I would order extra shrimp though. As soon as my waitress placed the dish on my table, the aroma smelled so good. It was love a first bite. I selected level 2 spice for my dish and that's as high as I'll ever go. Listen when I tell you, don't play with these Thai spices. They hot for real. Lol.

Yelp
We finally made it to this place. It's a relatively small restaurant, but we were able to grab a table before it got packed. The service was good and the staff was pleasant. We started with Larb Tofu and Kiin Imm Nuggets. I had Larb Tofu better elsewhere. The nuggets were my husband's choice. He wanted something different but missed the mark for him. He did love the Panang Chicken with brown rice. He gave it two thumbs up. I got the boat noodle soup. After the first bite, I was not a fan, but the flavor did grew on me. However, I would probably try something else the next time. There are definitely other items that I would like to try. We will be back.

Yelp
Update: unfortunately, the last three visits to what was rapidly becoming my favorite spot in town have been disappointing. I've updated my rating accordingly. --- The best tasting and best priced Thai food I've had in the DMV. Love to get Kiin Imm when I've had a long and difficult week. We've so far done delivery or pickup about 20x now and been inside the establishment just once. Just to skip some occasionally hefty delivery fees, I recommend coming physically to the establishment. It's worth it as there are some nice small bakery restaurants nearby as well. PROS * Drinks: Thai coffee and tea are very good. * Recommendations: Pad See Ew and Pad Thai have both been great. * Speed: they manage to put togther great food quickly, even when busy. CONS * Consistency needs some help. I've had my food vary from visit to visit on saltiness, spicyness, and sauce. But even when they get it wrong it's still very good. * Service is fine

Yelp
We had a lovely lunch here on an early weekday afternoon (they are closed from 2:30 until 4). We ordered spring rolls, the won ton noodle soup and Pad Thai--the soup was tasty, the spring rolls hot and crispy, and my son enjoyed his Pad Thai and Thai tea. We also had an absolutely delicious sticky rice and mango dessert! The prices are very reasonable. The restaurant seemed very clean and I liked the cheery decor. Service was courteous and we were not rushed (you do have to ask for chopsticks if you want them). This is definitely a pleasant place to have a nice meal!

Yelp
I ordered the Spicy Crispy Chicken and hands down it was delicious. I haven't tasted that dish in a while. When I would go to Boston for business there was a place near BUs campus and they had Crispy Basil Chicken that tasted good. It bought back memories.

Yelp
So....new favorite thai restaurant alert?!?! Came to Kiin Imm on a Sat night with a few friends and wow! Kind of upset we hadn't come here sooner! I got my fav, the Khao soi (less spicy) and David got the Boat Noodle Soup. Khao Soi: Okay, they give you SO MUCH chicken. Whoa. I was very very full lol. And the chicken was soooo tender it was crazy, shredded right into soup and *chef kiss* delicious. I wish there was more broth and they could have toned down the crispy noodles on top. But a very solid khao soi. Boat Noodle Soup: Tried some of David's and thought the soup was super flavorful, and unlike the khao soi there was way more soup! The regular spiciness level actually wasn't too bad for me and was bearable. If I had to say something it was just a tad on the salty side, but very yummy! The restaurant is small, so when we came it was pretty packed and our group had the one big table. Our friend was able to make a reservation for 8. They also looked super busy with lots of takeout orders. We can't wait to come back and try something else. Our friends got the pad see ew and ka prow, and the portions looked HUGE! Very impressed.

Simer C.

Yelp
Generally, really liked my takeout experience. Price: (4/5) Food prices was average for the area. Food: (4/5) Drunken noodles were really good. I had to pay for added vegetables and a when I got it, it felt like a normal of vegetables. I got spicy which was a good level for me, I wouldn't go spicer than that. Tofu was nice and soft. Thai tea was wayyy too sweet, I would get 50% sweet. The spring rolls said they would come with 3, but only came with 2. They were very crispy and thought they could have used some spice. In conclusion, I would want to come here for dine in.

Thi H.

Yelp
Love this restaurant. Been here a handful of times and have never been disappointed. I've only been during lunch time and they get very busy with dine in and carry out orders. The dining area is very cozy and they have flowers draping the ceiling. Service is great and quick - they want to get you in and out so that other guests can be served. We ordered the Papaya Salad, Ka Prow Chicken, and Night Bazaar Chili Flounder. All were quite tasty! They squeeze a lot of lime in the Papaya Salad so it's a bit on the tart side but overall flavor is great and the spice is perfect. The flounder was so crispy and paired so well with the veggies it came with. The Ka Prow Chicken was very flavorful and even though there are 3 peppers next to it for rating - the heat wasn't overwhelming. Nothing was over salted and the Ka Prow dish came with plenty of chicken to share and take home.

Yelp
Ordered takeout from Kiin Imm Thai, overall great thai food in a hurry! Perfect for a night in!

Yvonne Z.

Yelp
I tried the green iced tea for the first time and was pleasantly surprised, much like Thai tea it was sweet, refreshing and came in a cute Mason jar (presentation is everything) the service was great, we were greeted at the front door, the staff regularly checked in throughout the meal and we were thanked when we exited. I got the drunken noodles which was supposed to be pretty spicy but I asked for it mild and it was perfect! Usually I'm scared to order anything thats spicy on the menu even if you can adjust. I'm really happy with how it tasted and the level of spiciness.

Janella L.

Yelp
Amazinggg. Probably one of the more authentic Thai restaurant in a while. I was searching Yelp for good Asian food near our hotel in Rockville and I'm so glad we found this place. I was sold when I saw the Khao Kha Moo on the menu. Khao Kha Moo: I eat this every time I go to Thailand. The five spice flavor with anise is fantastic. Our batch was lean pork pieces with a few fatty parts. My husband thought it was the perfect amount while I on the other hand wanted them to go hard on the flavor. Overall fantastic Chicken larb: what a fresh appetizer to start your meal. Pineapple fried rice with shrimp: I was walking by to get my seat and I smelled great fried rice so obviously I had to ask the couple that got it what kind it was. They told me pineapple. I ordered it and it was as smoky as I thought it would be. Drunken noodles with beef: this was more the dish that my husband and mom targeted. They seemed to like it cuz it was almost all gone Basil chicken: spicy and flavorful. Again this was more my husband's dish but he said it was perfect. Kiin Imm nuggets: crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Perfect mix of chicken and shrimp with a sweet chili sauce.

Samantha G.

Yelp
I've ordered from here multiple times but one of the food items I had ordered today through grub hub made me kind of upset. I've ordered the panang curry from here before on uber eats and the rice looked normal (white and doesn't clump like overcooked rice.) This one came brown and was really soggy/clumpy. My review would be a 3.5/5 but not a 4/5 review because I have had better thai in the area and this experience was upsetting. I cannot eat my curry without rice now!

Yelp
Nestled in Rockville, Kiin Imm Thai Restaurant is a hidden gem that has won my heart with its convenient location, ample parking, and, most importantly, its consistently delicious Thai cuisine. Firstly, the accessibility of the restaurant is a plus. Easy to find and with plenty of free parking available, it ensures a stress-free dining experience from the get-go. The sight of to-go bags neatly prepared for DoorDash and UberEats drivers is a testament to the restaurant's popularity, and it's clear that Kiin Imm Thai is a local favorite for take-out. Now, let's talk about the star of the show--the food. Every dish on their menu is a flavor explosion. From the rich and savory drunken noodles to the classic pad thai, the aromatic basil fried rice, the tantalizing ka prow, and the soul-warming red and green curries, Kiin Imm Thai has mastered the art of Thai cuisine. One standout feature is the ability to customize the spice level for each dish. This flexibility caters to varying taste preferences and ensures that every visit is tailored to your liking. Whether you prefer a mild hint of spice or crave a fiery kick, Kiin Imm Thai accommodates with ease. Having tried an array of dishes on multiple occasions, I can confidently say that the quality and taste are consistently exceptional. The freshness of the ingredients and the skillful preparation shine through in every bite. If you're on the quest for top-quality Thai food, look no further--Kiin Imm Thai Restaurant is the epitome of authenticity and flavor. The friendly staff, inviting ambiance, and a menu that never fails to impress make this spot a must-visit for Thai cuisine enthusiasts. Kiin Imm Thai has rightfully earned its place as my go-to Thai restaurant in Rockville. Highly recommended!

Yelp
Give it one star because of the extremely rude and aggressive server. We had never experienced anything like this. Decided to try this restaurant because of high reviews, but will not be back. The server turned out to be a manager by the name Mod. She was very unfriendly, rushed everyone, including the party next to us. I hope this review will be read by the owners. She should not be allowed to serve anyone!!!!!! She is outrages.

Yelp
So I am a huge fan of Thai food! When I moved to MoCo from No.Va I will have to say I struggled to find good Thai here. Because of that I don't eat it as often as I did before. I found one spot in Gaithersburg that I usual stick with, but I have been eyeballing the good reviews Kiik Imm has been receiving; so I knew I need to come find out for myself! The location has a cute little intimate setting and definitely a spot where you can bring a date/bestie or just enjoy your own company. Since this was my first visit, I did not get adventurous with my selections and stuck with my usual favorites. First I had to try their Thai soup. Tom Yum is my favorite but I also really love the Tom Kha and something told me to go with the latter on this first visit. I am SO glad it did! It was the perfect balance of creamy coconut milk, spice and goodness! I ordered my go to entree of Ka Prow w/chicken and a side of their Spring rolls. Everything was wonderfully delicious; full of all the Thai spices that I love! Even though I saved my whole days worth of appetite for this meal the portions were large and I had to take a carry home bag for my leftovers. I will definitely be back!...Now that I know their quality it great I'm looking forward to getting adventurous. Next up is going to be the Massaman curry special I seen on their menu board at the restaurant. I am not seeing it on the menu so I hope it's still available by the time I make it back. The service was excellent & attentive. They kept my water glass full! * Thai food can be spicy! Hat's off to the Chefs for a yummy fulfilling meal!

Lily W.

Yelp
I ordered takeout. The food is delicious and very reasonably priced. I ordered a few things and everything was very flavorful. I have found an item that I didn't like yet.

Ketsanee P.

Yelp
Food is rather authentic. There are both signature Thai food like Pad Thai, Tom Yum, Tom Kha, Drunken Noodle, Pineapple Fried Rice or Panang Curry etc. and popular local/street food in Thailand such as Pad Krapow, Pork skewer, Satay, Kao Soi Noodle, Boat Noodle Soup etc. I haven't tried all yet but so far nothing is disappointed especially Kao Soi, so so yummy. (must try) I went to dine-in sometimes but mostly for take out. Their restaurant is quite small but very nice and convenient spot, staffs service was quite professional. Price and portion are reasonable. This time I ordered for TOGO again - and they were still taste good and well-packed as usual. I got Paw Paw Pike & Pork (Combo set - come with Som Tum/pork rinds, fried pork and sticky rice), chicken Stir-fry cashew nut (a little too much sauce and sweet but I didn't mind because I liked it that way), Mango Sticky Rice and Crispy Chive Cakes. p.s. one good thing that I like is their website is very organised and attractive. You can see pictures of all food display on the page with price and order online easily.

Yelp
Tried this place again, but for lunch this time. I came here trying to see if I can find another favorite Thai place. This place has some unique offerings, but I still think it falls short of perfection. The location is easy to get to and they have a good bit of parking in this center. There isn't a lot of space near the storefront, but if you walk farther, I think you can manage. The interior decoration is unique. They have a lot of small decor items that makes you look around just for fun. The service is nice, attentive, and the people here are nice. The food is good and nicely prepared. Some dishes are traditional dishes. Some are fusion like. Some I have never heard of before. I tried a good bunch. I still end up preferring stronger flavors and stronger spices. This one felt a bit more Americanized and dimmer in flavoring. Still delicious, but not the best for me.

Isabel A.

Yelp
Really loved this spot! Came here on a whim and was speculative about the wait but it was so worth it. So many folks coming for dine in and carry out. The place is smaller but very cute and well maintained. The dishes were really great and prob some of the best Thai food I've had in the area. Also the staff is putting in work to make this small but mighty place run! Will be visiting again :-)

DJ Reets ..

Yelp
Friendly service, great food Busy and not very spacious but the staff have a great rotation process and are super nice. We typically get take out but every once in awhile, we don't mind squeezing in to dine in!

Mark N.

Yelp
Wonderful restaurant, which can be very busy (great if you're only a party of 2). As we entered we were greeted quickly and also got seated immediately. There were a lot of seats meant for 2, which was great. The seating area had a lot of fun trinkets everywhere, but was very small, so it can get a little loud. Servers there were very polite and courteous. Despite being busy, we weren't rushed to order nor were they pushy. They were willing to answer questions and were very efficient. The food was definitely amazing. Not only were the portions huge, but the prices were great. I ordered the beef pad see ew and the meat was very tender and juicy, cooked really well. The noodles were wide and perfect, not too oily or greasy. They served a lot of meat with it, making it so well balanced and at the same time wonderful (can't go wrong with more protein, especially if it's delicious). Definitely coming here again to try something else.

Charlene E.

Yelp
This Thai spot is pretty good and I typically order the chop chop basil with shrimp and rice and have them make it very spicy. Unfortunately they're not always good with instructions. I hate poached eggs and I always instruct them to cook the egg completely but they don't and I'm left with a repulsive poached eggs. Besides that, I can't complain and the food is very flavorful.

Lee A.

Yelp
Great menu. Got the special pork belly. Came out cold. Advised it should be warm. Sent back. Returned hot... Like sawdust. Inedible. Got the catfish too. Fair at best. Overall, extremely disappointed.

Yelp
Thai food has become a popular trend in the foodie culture. There have been many new Thai restaurants popping up in the Maryland suburbs. I am ashamed to admit it, but as any good Yelper, I have tried several of those restaurants. The clear front runner with the best tasting Thai food is most definitely Kiin Imm Thai. The quality of both the meats and seafood is unparalleled. The sauces are tasty and delicious. The portion size is generous. There is just no one else who does Thai food, like Kiin Imm Thai! We ordered pineapple fried rice with chicken. It was hearty and delicious. Filled with chunks of scrumptious chicken with vegetables and loads of pineapple. It was a sure favorite! Then, we ordered beef chow foon and there were large pieces of tender beef, lots of soft noodles, and a tasty sauce. Lastly,we tried a new dish called Mushroom Forest. It had fried tofu, white mushrooms, shiitake mushrooms, colorful vegetables, large artfully cooked shrimp, in a delicate and light sauce. It was phenomenal and I am sure it will be on our new favorites list for dinner. Our favorite dessert is mango and sticky rice. The mango was sweet and the the sticky rice was delightful! We inhaled our dessert, because it tasted so great! Service was great and our food was hot, even after the car ride home. Our containers were overflowing with delicious goodness. The restaurant is now open for in service dining. We love their food and I can't wait to return.

Christian E.

Yelp
Cute vibes! This place is so cool. They sat us pretty quickly too. The tom yum got me sweating which it definitely should. We accompanied this with a wood ear mushroom dish which was mellow and savory. We also had thai tea to quench the spice, but we burned our tongues with the spicy catfish again. Definitely a great place to eat in Maryland!

Tim H.

Yelp
Kiin Imm is one of several popular restaurants we frequented in the Ritchie Shopping Center. They're prompt (a must for a ton of carryouts) and energetic. Waitress came by minutes after we were seated. We quickly ordered since we had no time to explore the menu or go through photos on Yelp. So we went with trusted Papaya Salad and Spring Rolls appetizers. A perfect combination of sour, sweet, nutty, and starchy flavors. The Drunken Noodle (Chow fun) was too spicy; we drank enough water to meet our daily intake here. Lastly we ordered Mango Sticky Rice for dessert, delicious as usual. It's still a 5 star establishment - service, cleanness, and food quality (even the water taste good). Maybe we will brave something exotic next time.

Micah C.

Yelp
Wow, the food at this little restaurant is amazing. Came here for the first time on a weekday for dinner and the place was already pretty busy. Luckily, my husband and I were able to get a table. It's pretty cozy inside so not sure how big parties would fit in here. The menu is descriptive if you're not familiar with Thai food. I ordered the Panang curry with beef, which comes with rice. It was soooo good!! The broth was flavorful and creamy. The curry was packed with beef, so you really get your money's worth. I was able to eat most of it because I was super hungry but you could probably share with two people or take leftovers to go. I also tried my husband's Pad See Ew. The noodles were perfect and chewy and the sauce was amazing. The servers work fast despite a busy night. Great food and great service for a great price ($35 for two of us plus tip). Definitely coming back again!

Yelp
Been coming here for the last two years and it has never disappointed. Service is always great, food is always consistently delicious. The Godzilla fried rice and Pad See Ew are my go to. Highly recommend if you're ever craving Thai food

Yelp
Ordered a basil minced chicken rice for takeout. As soon as I opened the container, something didn't smell right. Maybe the premade sauce was old or something.I know Thai food having lived there and after a few bites, I noticed that some of the rice was hard and not hot like it should've been Been sick all night

Yelp
This place is super cute! You walk in and see the lights and flowers that run the ceiling. It's a small place, but that gives it super cool vibes with how they decorated it. If you have a big group during a busy hour, then you may have to wait. While dining the staff were super fast. We were a table of 3 and we only waited about 15-20min. The food was super good! We go the spicy fried catfish dish, and it was truly spicy! The tom yum soup was super delicious and authentic. It also had a good amount of spice, where it was addictive to eat. The mushroom stir fry had a more sweet sauce, and tasted yummy with the rice. Overall, super delicious! Thanks Maryland for the treat!!

Yelp
Got the basil pork crisp and it had a lot of good flavors. I usually go for pad Thai but wanted to try something new. It was definitely good, not sure I would get it again but glad I tried it.

Yelp
New Years Day Eve 2023. After reading that my go-to Thai spot has had numerous critical health code violations (not this restaurant) I chose not to return there. Just gross. Tried this place for the second time after first time didn't go well. Although the wait was 90 mins (was told 45 when I called to place order) it was worth the delay. At one point there were about 18 people patiently waiting outside for to-go orders. Ordered the spicy catfish, chicken Penang curry and gorilla fried rice. Very tasty even w the mild spice level. We would order these dishes again.

Yelp
This is the place you need to visit if you're hungry and want tasty Thai food. My wife and I ordered the Tom kha soup and the chicken/shrimp nuggets and both were delicious. The soup was spicy, sweet, and tangy, probably one of the most flavorful dishes I've ever had. The nuggets were springy and soft, and quiet tasty with the sweet sauce it came with. For entree, I got drunken noodles with beef (mild spiciness) and it was delicious. Beef was cooked perfectly. The portion was great, and I had some to take home since I was full from the appetizers. My wife ordered the basil pork crisp and it was also delicious. The only problem was that some of the bits were kind of hard and chewy which made my jaw hurt from chewing it so much. But the softer pork pieces were "chef's kiss" delicious. For dessert, we ordered the Thai taro custard and it was definitely interesting. Slightly warm with crisps on top, it reminded me of a pie since it was mushy, crunchy, and sweet at the same time. The more I ate, the more I enjoyed. Highly recommend anyone to check this spot out. Glad we stopped by for dinner.

Yelp
Nestled away like a culinary treasure, this restaurant exceeded all expectations! From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. The food was nothing short of amazing, boasting flavors that delighted our taste buds without breaking the bank. What truly set this experience apart was the exceptional service. We reserved a table for my daughter's birthday, and they went above and beyond to make it a memorable occasion. Not only were they accommodating, but they also allowed us to bring in a cake from outside and even took the extra step to serve it for the group, beautifully presented. Needless to say, we left thoroughly impressed and satisfied. This restaurant has undoubtedly earned our highest recommendation. Thank you for making my daughter's birthday celebration truly special!

Yelp
A friend recommended this to me a while ago and I sure wish I visited this restaurant sooner. It's now my new favorite Thai restaurant in the north Bethesda/Rockville area. The service was excellent, friendly and efficient. The hot food was piping hot and flavorful and the salad was delightful.

Yelp
I've been in Rockville for 4 years now and Kiin Imm is one of the best restaurants in the area. Their food is always top notch and fresh. During their busy times, take out can take a little longer. That being, they don't sugarcoat the wait and ensure nothing has been sitting out for an extended period. I haven't actually eaten there, but inside appears to be nice and simple.

Yelp
Very cute spot. It's decorated very nicely inside. On the small side but they provide very quick service. We went on a Friday a little after 4pm when they opened for dinner. The food was okay, i had changed the spice level of mine which I wish I hadn't. The broth was sour, which I like, just not enough spice. wish I had gone with maybe the next level up from "little spice." The noodles that they used, same as the ones used in pho, came out sticky when bit into. Probably from the dish not being warm enough to cook it all the way thru. Will def give it another try with higher spice level next time. My boyfriend's dish he didn't enjoy. He said it tasted like straight hoisin sauce, super sweet. He enjoyed that they did provide a lot of meat in his dish and the crunchy stuff.

Yelp
One of my favorite Thai foods and service has always been amazing. My favorite dish is drunken noodles with chicken with a spice level of 3 out of 5. Sometimes the spicy level isn't always accurate since I've had some 3/5 that were spicer than normal or not spicy at all. But overall, great customer service and food!

Yelp
Ok wow! I get the hype for this restaurant. Truly the best Thai I've had in Rockville. It's reasonable prices and the food is delicious. And they give a good portion amount! A small tom yum soup and a pad see ew dish and classic fried rice was enough for 3 people! The ambiance is beautiful and the service was very attentive. And the food was soooo delicious and fresh. Definitely worth trying if you love thai food. The place is a little small so expect it to be a little busy on weekends. We had to wait 15 min on a Saturday night

Yelp
Great spot. The top menu item, chopped basil chicken, is the tastiest and most affordable, but lots of choices
