🥡🍱👑The best restaurant in Salem The combos have good portions, very reasonable prices, the food is always fresh with incredible flavors and the people here are lovely, they always make you feel at home. I highly recommend it 💯

Google
We had the pu-pu platter for two, fried rice, stir-fry chicken with vegetables over crispy noodles, and General Gao's chicken delivered to my son's new home this past Sunday, and it was delicious. The wait time was about 20 minutes, the portions are plentiful, and the prices are reasonable. We will order from them again.

Google
Ordered take out from here for the first time. Will never get food from here again. Pork strips were like sawdust, rice was hard and not flavorful. Eggroll had too much wrap. Everything was cold. Possibly the worst Chinese food ever.

Google
Great service food and order for my work place 130 for all this food is amazing. Thanks again.

Google
The staff was incredibly friendly when I went to pick up my food today, and the food was amazing! 10/10 service. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience

Google
One of the best local foods in the area! Combos are portioned well, the food is always made fresh, and the people here are the sweetest. Highly recommend for takeout on a Friday night!

Google
I was visiting Salem, Massachusetts and never will return to this restaurant. The food is disgusting. Do not waste your money especially is you have a companion. My companion could not believe it. Awful

Google
First time ordering. Pretty small portions for large orders, but priced decently. Veggie lo mein was alright, loaded with vegetables. But the pork fried rice had little to no pork in it and was pretty salty, and the large order of chicken i ordered all came very undercooked. Tried to eat it but it was just too undercooked. Not worth the risk. Sad way to spend almost 40 dollars!

Yelp
Had to look for a place to grab a quick bite before my appointment. Read the reviews and it seemed solid. I love me some Chinese food. When I got here, it gave the same vibes as any other local Chinese restaurant that's in a neighborhood. The staff were super nice. Greeted me with a smile and everything. I was able to place my order online and it was done right on time. I must say, this spot is better than my local spot I normally go to that is 5 mins away LOL I wish this was the spot next to my house, instead! The chicken wings hit me with some good memories with me and my dad. We used to go to this spot in Chinatown when I was a kid and it had the same flavor and crisp. Man. The rice was pretty good as well. Moist and flavorful. Loved that it had bean sprouts! Some places charge $1.50 for it! (My local spot lol) Boneless spare ribs were also good. Overall, I highly recommend coming here for your Chinese food fix. My only complaint nowadays is that chicken wings that is included in your combination, one piece is considered as one now. It used to come as a whole. You know what I mean? Man, has time changed....

Yelp
Learn how to make a fucking sandwich you idiots. Sandwich is disgusting and looks like it was just thrown in there. I'm going to have this place reviewed thousands of times till it's out of business
google avatar

Yelp
Not the same as a few years ago. $59 for smaller portions. Beef & Broccoli should be called Broccoli. Large Teriyaki now has only 6, not 8 like they use to. Their togo containers are much smaller than they use to have. I gave it another try for the benefit of the doubt. I'm not doubting anymore. I had thought a few months ago that there were new owners, I believe that today. Which is good, but different from the past. I am debating on which stars to give them ... 2 or 3. I did an internet order and it was ready when I arrived 20 minutes later. And they were friendly!!

Yelp
It's certainly not gourmet, but Kiki's is yummy. Classic Chinese restaurant selection. I love this place.

Yelp
Ok , so I'm a firm believer that if the restaurant looks stuck in the 90s / 80s with them old menus with the yellow hue, you KNOW the food is going to be BOMB. well, this is one of those places. Don't let the outdated interior fool you. If you want fresh , hot, good old fashioned American Chinese food, Kiki's is your place.
google avatar

Marcus S.

Yelp
Meh, their Kung Pow Chicken was 90% vegetables and wasn't very kung powy. We had delivery so can't say much about the place on the inside. Delivery took a long time. By our maps app the place is a 7 minute walk. Was an hour before we had dinner when we ordered.

Yelp
I've ordered take out from this establishment and have yet to be disappointed. My go-tos are their lo mein, beef teriyaki and crab Rangoons. This last visit, I tried their hot & sour soup and was glad I did. It was very flavorful and chalk full of tofu, seaweed and egg. They will be my preferred Chinese-American local takeout restaurant. Prices are fair and portions are big!

Konstantina M.

Yelp
I ordered 80 pieces of crab Rangoon and a party tray of chicken lo mein. Everyone enjoyed every bite! Thanks again Kiki's

Alex B.

Yelp
Good food have had it for years. If they have the yellow looking old menus you know the food is good.

Yelp
Best noodles ever and ohhhhh the flavor. My four kids and I ate at KiKi's twice a day while we were in Salem or Danvers MA we drove back to Danvers doe the noodles when we were in Salem. We rerouted after exploring the more north east states to hit KIKi's once more on our way home Just the best and great service they seem to love what they do!

Chris W.

Yelp
If you order delivery from this place I highly recommend you use the app and hold onto your email receipt. I didn't get the chicken fingers I ordered and when I called to let them know a lady told me I never ordered them even though it showed that I ordered them on my email receipt. Needless to say she hung up on me. Great customer service. I reported it to the app and they fixed the problem. I'm never getting food from there again. Kinda sad, they lost a ten year customer over seven bucks.

Yelp
Kiki's is awesome! The food is great, reasonably priced and the staff is so friendly. I truly enjoyed the food which we used for a family dinner. We love going to Kiki's and will always go back when we are in the area. They are also very clean and take the proper Covid-19 protocols to protect customers and staff. Kudos Kiki!

Yelp
This is my go to in the area ! Plain and simple , old school Chinese takeout , great Hot & Sour Soup and house lo mein, not fancy inside but plenty of takeout style seating , great prices and service can't wait to come back for more all in all my favorite!
google avatar

Melissa B.

Yelp
Great takeout place. The food is always fresh. The service is friendly I've been going there for 10 years. Love their crab rangoons. So yummy!

Yelp
Waited over an hour and a half for delivery. Called to check on the food twice and each time it was "on the way". Arrived cold and small sub par portions. Never again, not worth it. And the person who said it smells like strong urine odor in the restaurant is absolutely accurate!

Yelp
Been going there for American Style Chinese Food--big portions. Had my first weird experience there after nearly weekly patronage for about 2 years. After I ate, it was raining, I had some time to kill. I sat quietly reading the news on my phone. The manager came up to my table and asks if I was waiting for something. I told her no. I'd eaten and was just sitting. She then said I looked like I was waiting for something. I was mighty confused---I asked her if it was wrong to sit after eating. Almost all the tables were empty. Anyhow I'm not sure what it all meant, I'd sat like that many times before. I just was made to feel uncomfortable. -...likely I may not be back.

Yelp
There's a reason why there are more 1 star reviews on here than 5 star. This place is hot garbage. Rude staff, terrible customer service, and some of the worst food I've ever had. Everything always arrives mushy because it sits in the paper bag so long that all the steam in the bag condenses and showers the food in water. And don't bother to complain because the manager will yell at you and refuse to do anything because it's never their fault, they always blame the customer. Do yourself a favor and find someplace else to go to. These people are as awful as their food is.

Yelp
During this coronavirus pandemic, it's been tough to find reasonably-priced Chinese food in our area. Our favorite place (Lucky House in Peabody) is closed and other places are way too expensive (and don't offer combo plates). So we tried Kiki's. Not the worst I've had but the food is mediocre at best. They also got the orders wrong--white rice instead of pork fried rice and both plates were supposed to have chicken wings but we only got one order of them. I will say they were polite, given the less-than-ideal working circumstances and everything was up to snuff with the coronavirus guidelines. I hope the other places we frequent open up again because I'm not so sure I want to go back here.

Yelp
If you are looking for comfort food like general Gao's, orange chicken, fried rice, loin mien, crab Rangoons, beef teriyaki, boneless spareribs, and etc this is the place! (I might have just describe what I got for dinner ) Kiki's definitely has bigger portion of food, compared to other location Chinese restaurants in the area. I like how their food are so yummy and yet not too greasy. The restaurant staffs are so friendly, and they try their best to accommodate you even during the pandemic!

Yelp
Without a doubt Kiki's is ONE OF THE BEST chinese food restaurants I ever ate at. No matter what I order it is always fresh, delicious, comes in a good sized portion and is prices reasonably. You cant lose I love it.
google avatar

Rain R.

Yelp
The worst service I have ever had. Ordered from here twice, the first time I ordered chicken wings and got chicken fingers instead, the second time I ordered teriyaki strips and was given pork chops. The workers are completely incompetent and do not know their own menu and the difference between their foods and should not be working in the food industry if they are that incompetent and stupid.
google avatar

Jen R.

Yelp
Our go-to Chinese food! We both grew up with South Shore (Mass.) style Chinese food and had difficult time finding anything familiar on the North Shore until we discovered Kiki's! Their food is always delicious and reasonably price. Our favorites are General Gaos, Chicken Fingers, and Pork Fried Rice. They're always gotten our order right and delivered on time. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Decided to get my Chinese take out here rather than at my usual location. Unfortunately, I was left disappointed. The food was, for the most part, bland and lacked flavor. In my order were pork-fried rice, beef teriyaki, lobster sauce, and crab rangoons, and vegetables. Filling of Rangoon and lobster sauce were out of balance. (Sauce had too little sauce, Rangoon had to little crab) Pork Fried rice did not have a whole lot of flavor, or little pieces of meat or anything. Vegetables were alright, too much broccoli though. Beef Teriyaki was good, but nothing to write home about. No free white rice Location is decent sized for what is primarily takeout. seemingly clean, free tea.

Jim C.

Yelp
Food was ok, fantasy island is way better. Waited several hours for the food and I live around the corner from them

James F.

Yelp
I have eaten at many of the local chinese restaurants and the most delicious by a mile is Kiki's. Everything there is fairly priced and the portions are generous. Their food has its own distinctive, delicious flavor. The workers there are always friendly, polite and patient with the most difficult customers. I highly recommend it.

Yelp
I ordered chicken wings crab Rangoon and pork fried rice the plate was very small and the chicken looked like it's been saved for days and they just re fry the food the chicken wings were so bad you could see the bones right through it and the front of the place smells like piss strong piss they defiantly need to clean this place up I do not recommend

Yelp
Place was good. $30.00 for a ton of good food. Absolutely stuffed. And there's more in the fridge for tomorrow.
google avatar

Meg D.

Yelp
I've gotten take out a few times while visiting family. Quoted pickup times are always accurate. Most of the time the food is waiting for us. Calling into place your order is easy as well. For food we have gotten several different things over the course of a few different times. Highlights to me are the lo mein, beef with broccoli and crab ragoons. Prices are fair, portions are huge. Don't go expecting a five star meal, but it will satisfy your greasy Chinese food craving.
google avatar

Tony D.

Yelp
Kiki's is the type of place you don't admit going to but still do. There was a change of ownership not too long ago and although the staff is very friendly the food is not that good. I will usually get #11, lobster sauce, pork fried rice and 4 chicken wings. I've tried other dishes but have usually regretted it. The worst chicken fingers, greasy with way too much batter as is all fried items. Pass this one by.

Yelp
First time trying Kikis tonight. It was close to their closing time so I called and made sure it was still ok to order something. Kept it simple, pork low mein, crab ragoons and sweet and sour chicken. My usual Chinese food order. They had it ready for me quick and gave me a few chicken fingers for free which I did not expect. Nice gesture for first time visit and friendly front help. Food was good, tasted good and nice portions. Will def put it into my rotation of a few fav Chinese shops.

Yelp
I have been a customer of this place for over a decade, it definitely has gone down in quality of food and customer service. Food is overly greased and service is rude and non apologetic. It's a shame because the original owners made a good name for themselves and now thats all changed.

Julia F.

Yelp
When I went there to pick up the food that I ordered they charged me for someone else's meal and gave me the wrong meal. They let walk out of there when they knew they gave the wrong thing and I only noticed when I got home. Then I called back saying I got the wrong meal they said they know and they kinda got mad at me cause of there mistake. I made them give me the money back that they over charged me for and asked for them to give me the right order that time. -Pissed_off_at_life_123

Yelp
Kiki's looks like it used to be an Arby's or something in a former life. If you don't mind getting your extremely Americanized greasy Chinese food from a place that looks like a forgotten Arby's then Kiki's is your place. Seriously, they deliver, and seem to do a perfectly decent job at the pu pu platter fried chinese food items. If that's what you're looking for give them a shot. I wouldn't go too far off the reservation with your ordering, but sometimes chicken fingers, lo mein, boneless spare ribs, and fried rice is where it's at. Kiki's fits that in a no frills, low cost way.
google avatar

Jason L.

Yelp
So, full disclosure, I'm from NY. This was not what I was hoping for in Chinese food. What I did find interesting is how combination meals are done. Here, you have several options to pair with rice as opposed to a single option in NY. Also, the portion sizes seem very large. On the down side, the food just wasn't great. The pork fried rice barely had any pork in it to the point where I thought they gave my fried rice without pork until I found a small piece. It was also very dark rice that I'm not used to. I had chicken with broccoli which I though had way too much sauce. They also gave me chicken wings which I though were terrible. I couldn't even finish one wing. The only good thing I really got from Kiki's was the fried dumplings. They came out perfect. Unfortunately, unless I'm just looking for dumplings, I'm not going back.
google avatar

Sarah S.

Yelp
Kiki's get a bad rep, but it's pretty good. My son loves the crab rangoon, he said it's better from Kiki's than anywhere else. This certainly isn't the best chinese food, but it's not the worst either. Delivery service is usually fast, and they put in free food depending on what you spend (you don't have to ask for it or have a coupon).
google avatar

Kevin M.

Yelp
Very good food and inexpensive. Some great combos and family meal deals as well. I always try to stop in on visits to the north shore. Fantastic value for lunch
google avatar

Caitlin H.

Yelp
We just got the chicken fingers and the outside was cooked but inside around the cooked chicken was just mushy. Super gross and so disappointing! I like a little batter on my chicken but not layers and layers of it. Will not be ordering from here again.

Artemis F.

Yelp
The Lomein is just a block of bean sprouts and gravy. The "pork" fried rice was just black rice. Even for a cheap chinese food, this was the bottom of the barrel. Also, there were no chopsticks.
google avatar

Brian S.

Yelp
If I could leave NO stars I would. We were charged more than what was priced in the menu. When we brought it to their attention, and showed them, they had an attitude, didn't apologize and they said "We go by the prices in the computer, not what's on the menu." We asked them to cancel the transaction and they at least were nice enough to do that. We will not go back there again.

Leslie O.

Yelp
NEVER AGAIN!!!! I thought why not stop and pick up a lunch special -well now I remember why I went here once several years ago and never again. Greasy fried rice that stuck together (and I asked for steamed rice), boneless ribs that were mostly grizzle and only got 3 little pieces and the worst offender was general's chicken. it should be called "where is the chicken, general?" All batter and what little chicken I could find were tiny pieces and not good ones at that. How have they stayed in business???!!!
google avatar

Heather C.

Yelp
this place has grossest most disgusting food i would not waste my money here go down the street to sugar cane seriously the nastiest food. and the help is really rude. like the rally can afford to be rude. the inside is always dirty and the signage is illegible. go somewhere else anywhere else even mcdonalds is a better option yuck yuck yuck
google avatar

Anthony R.

Yelp
I love coming here there food is very good there always nice to me and very respectfull
google avatar

George C.

Yelp
Great tasting Chinese food. Best in Salem. I have tried them all. Very good value for money too.

Marie G.

Yelp
The worst greasy, week old rice and glob of gravy for oily egg foo young Ive ever had. It's just cheap crap
google avatar

Mario C.

Yelp
I actually can not think of a worse place to eat. Everything from Cleanliness to quality to the service was really bad. Sure, the prices are fair and portions are heavy, however that means nothing if the food tastes like crap. I will never come here ever again. Especially when there are so many others to choose from that are actually good!! Bye Kiki's......I won't miss you nor will Ii ever bring any visiting relatives to your business.
google avatar

Mike H.

Yelp
This place is great! The food is always fresh and reasonably priced. Sure, you will not get all the bells and whistles there. But if you want great food and friendly service p;ease give them a shot. Plus, I have always found little freebies in my bag. They are much appreciated.
google avatar

Paul G.

Yelp
We ordered $74 of Chinese food at Kikis which includes a tip for delivery. The delivery person felt he should let me know that I insulted him with my $2 extra tip of a dollar and four quarters for a $74 bill. I did not realize I was at a restaurant. Bad service and mediocre food. No more Kikis.
google avatar

Yelp
Hands down some of the best Chinese Food in Salem. The prices are amazing and the food is great. My husband swears that they have the best crab rangoon ever. I'm always amazed at the amount of food they're able to pack into those containers. The food tastes fresh and isn't overly greasy. My personal favorite are their veggie spring rolls and their chow foon. YUM
