Such a cute little spot that’s very close to the house. Calming atmosphere and great food! I got eggs Benedict. Will be back again!

Happy Meal

Google
The pepper jack breakfast sandwich was delicious but the house potatoes and their salsa were mediocre at best. At first the sever who took down are order was nice but then we got stuck with this young lady with glasses who was overall rude. She accidentally brought the wrong order to my friend and when my friend told her politely about the wrong order the waitress was bothered. When the waitress got the plate and turned around she rolled her eyes. When the waitress thought that my other friend got the wrong order, she tried taking my friend's plate without asking if it was correct or not, (again bothered). My other friend politely told her that her order was correct. The waitress rolled her eyes at her. The waitress didn't even bother to hide it. Also it took more than 40 minutes to get our food and no one gave us any updates on our food or apologize. No one ever refilled our cups or offered us napkins. No one ever checked on us to see if we needed anything or asked how is the food. This was my first time there and I told my friend is it just me or is she being rude? My friend said oh yeah, she's always rude and I come here often. I told her well this will be my last time coming because I do not tolerate that and you were nothing but polite with her the whole time. That young lady with the glasses was rude the whole time. I wish I had the one who took my order instead. It's like that young lady with the glasses swooped in to get all the credit and the tips. When I paid in cash, the young lady with the glasses gave me back my change and said with attitude here's your change. So I gladly didn't tip her. How do you expect people to come back with that rude service and expect a tip.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Kiki’s Restaurant, and it was an experience to remember! Their blueberry French toast is simply out of this world. The toast is perfectly golden, with a delightful crispness on the outside and a soft, fluffy interior. The blueberries add a burst of fresh, juicy flavor that elevates the dish to a whole new level. Each bite is a harmonious blend of sweet and tangy, making it an absolute must-try.

Google
We were in the area and we’re looking on Google for a great breakfast place to eat. I came across this place. We hit the jackpot and enjoyed delicious food, friendly service and a great atmosphere. We highly recommend you stopping in and hope to come back someday.

Google
I ordered takeout: chilaquiles and a vanilla latte. Staff was very friendly and attentive, even though I wasn't a sit-down diner. It's a small business that has comfortable indoor/outdoor seating. I like chilaquiles but if you prefer the chips to be crispier, mine ended up being less crispy than I hoped. The flavors were great.

Google
Looked great....that's about it. I have a good phone camera📷. Eggs were good....but It had Cold rice, over cooked dry meat patty (hard as a rock), can gravy. Poor interpretation of a classic Island dish.

Google
First time trying this place out. The servers were great! Got our food pretty fast! I ordered the breakfast panini, which had ham egg avocado, and some kind of mayo that they could have used a lot more of. Wish the sandwich tasted as good as it looked, otherwise this would have gotten a 5 star for sure! Coffee was fresh and hot! Very clean and inviting atmosphere. Overall very satisfied with the service! Will be back for sure!

Google
Fast! Good Food...only tried the breakfast so far. They do have lunch items on their menu. I did notice Paninis definitely want to try those The chilaquiles have a good taste wish it was spicier but that's just me. The portion was good. Price $25 for Chilaquiles and a OJ.

Yelp
What a great little cafe to grab breakfast or lunch at! Perfect location if you're working in one of the many offices nearby. Simple menu, but we haven't found a single dish we don't like. Particularly enjoy their Loco Moco and Quick Fix. We've never had difficulty getting a table when we show up. Service is quick and kind. We've seen many people placing orders to-go as well. Reasonably priced. Easy parking. Great choice for breakfast or lunch.

Yelp
Food Quality Unknown Food Value for Dollar Unknown Service Speed 0/5 Service Quality 0/5 Overall 0/10 F I came in with my son for breakfast Friday morning. With no one in line ahead of us, and only two parties dining in, I thought this would be a good experience. The waitress who saw us come in did not offer to help with getting a high chair for my son when I told her we would be dining in. She was not busy, as there was no line. I gathered my son and high chair to our table and waited a bit before getting menus. She asked us about drinks and we got water. After waiting for 10mins with no service from her, I watched 3 mobile orders and 2 more carry out patrons come up to the counter and get served while my son and I waited. A total of 15 mins passed before she came back and helped us. By this time I knew this server was slow and did not prioritize actual quality customer service. I was annoyed when she came to the table after being ignored for so long and asked for my order. After waiting for my breakfast order or pancakes and fruit, she comes out literally 20 mins later to tell me they didn't have what I ordered. During this 20 mins all other dine in patrons had left and we were waiting for our food in an empty restaurant. What took 20 mins, which was now 35 minute wait for you to tell us the bananas for the pancakes were not in stock? Why did you wait, knowing I had a hungry toddler, to inform us you didn't have the food we ordered? I asked for something else and after another 10 mins of waiting (now a total of 45 mins) in a nearly empty restaurant I decided they were too slow and we left. The waitress is terribly trained, the kitchen is slow, there is no quality about the service here and they are managed extremely poorly. Pathetic

Yelp
This was quite a lucky find next to the blood draw place where i had to go fasting. i got the breakfast burrito with bacon to go. The burrito was large and filling. the gave me green salsa and ketchup. Ketchup ??? The service was great, and a cute place to eat. it wasn't busy at 9 am

Yelp
Just had the Chilaquiles Burrito from Kiki's Kitchen and WOW--absolute flavor bomb! Perfectly crispy chips, rich salsa, creamy eggs, and just the right kick of spice all wrapped in a warm tortilla. Every bite was heavenly. Easily one of the best burritos I've ever had. 10/10
google avatar

Karina M.

Yelp
Everything was outstanding. I had the power jack sandwich with hash browns and the name was no joke. It was very filling and tasty. The hash was cooked nicely. I also tried the huevos rancheros and they were tasty. I had an iced latte and it was too sweet for my taste so we asked for some extra ice or milk and they very kindly did so. Prices were affordable! We also had exceptional customer service

Yelp
The atmosphere was great and so was the service however I was very let down by the food. I had the avocado toast which was good but nothing special and ordered a few other things for my children. My daughter has gotten the chicken tenders which looked like fish sticks and they were very scrawny and small. She didn't really like them but she still ate them. "Definitely not the best I've ever had" she said. However I don't think I will be coming back. Great service though. The lady at the front desk was very nice.

Yelp
We ordered 3 items and they were all amazing. The best fried sweet potatoes we've ever had. Very crispy. I enjoyed the chilaquiles I ordered as well.

Yelp
GETTING HERE: Restaurant is located on Lombard off Gonzales Road in Oxnard between Rice and Rose Avenues. It's across the street from the Kaiser Pharmacy. Visit their website here: https://kikiskitchen-oxnard.com/home REVIEW: Yelp continues to come in clutch for me. Thank you for Yelp and thank you for all the Yelp things! I was in the neighborhood taking care of some medical things and my Mom says, "Let's go eat!" - I do what the Yelpers do, and checked to see what was close by. I've had Kiki's bookmarked for much too long, and in retrospect I was last here circa 2018. What the heck? Place was relatively full this morning. There were only 2 people running the floor and they were hopping. Friendly. Welcoming. But so busy. We were able to be seated quickly and thankfully my guest and I knew what we wanted to order so we got our order in quick like. :) Chilaquiles were outstanding. Asked for over-medium eggs and they were perfection. My guest ordered the Chicken Fried Steak. It was good; but a good amount of gristle, sadly. Yes. I recommend and hope you'll support this local biz. And, try their Chilaquiles! If you know me, you know I'm a fan. :) Thanks!

Yelp
It's been a while since I've been here but I was just as satisfied as the last time. Conveniently nestled among all the medical buildings off Lombard and Gonzales, makes this a popular spot for all the people who work nearby. Despite its popularity, we were seated promptly and all the tables were attended to very smoothly and in a friendly manner. Outdoor seating available outside, too. We came at lunch time and happily we were able to order breakfast items as well as lunch. I ordered the fried rice with eggs on top. The rice was done nicely flavor wise and texture. I loved that they added bell peppers to it. The eggs added a good texture to the rice which was done perfectly. My friends had the moco loco and some subs and everyone loved their flavors. It all tasted fresh but just like the times before, you always leave smelling a bit greasy, lol. One bathroom available but it's kept clean which is always a plus.

Yelp
I can't say enough about this place. Great food and fantastic service. Due to a recent hospital stay, I had some difficult diet restriction requests and they happily accommodated. Breakfast burritos are awesome. Homemade salsas to die for and if you can grab a homemade muffin before they sell out, consider yourself lucky.

Yelp
I've been here a handful of times and I'm never disappointed! The atmosphere is family friendly and everyone is so kind and attentive, food is sooo good. Both breakfast and lunch items are delicious. My husband and I love coming to Kiki's! Definitely recommend!!

Yelp
This is my first time eating at KiKi's and it was a pleasant surprise. I found this restaurant was much better than my planned stop to Chick Filet.

Yelp
Delicious homestyle food with attentive, polite staff--left feeling happy and satisfied!

Yelp
Good food. Fast and friendly service. Reasonable prices. I would recommend this place for breakfast.

Yelp
Fantastic food! Traditional burrito with extra crispy bacon (as requested) and the potatoes were so yummy!! Hubby had Denver omelette. Very tasty! Service here is amazing! Definitely a don't miss place!!
google avatar

Yelp
Was tempted by this place for years and I must say it's a hidden gem that was worth the wait even though i should've came sooner. The food was astounding and the coffee was very good as well. The sweet potato fries were so crispy and then bread on the turkey sandwich was so crunchy and delicious. It has a very home like feeling from the workers welcoming you to the lighting and the color layout.

Nancy S.

Yelp
Ordered the turkey melt. Dry, small amount of turkey, cheese and tomato. Mostly dry toast. Turkey did not look trustworthy. Not again!
google avatar

Francesca H.

Yelp
Service was amazing and fast, the taste of the food was incredible and everything was great! Will definitely be coming back for more.

Mary Pat M.

Yelp
Excellence got breakfast. We love the eggs Benedict! They make a bacon tomato version! Staff is friendly and attentive. It's off the beaten path. But it's really worth the trip!

Crystal J.

Yelp
Food was decent. My salad was not fresh. Also my biggest negative review on this is not even the food. If u don't mind having lunch in a place where dogs are allowed, ur in the right place. Dogs should not be allowed inside restaurants, especially when they sit at the booth. I will not be going back, thanks.

Abel R.

Yelp
Good food. Good service. Favorite place. Nice people. Favorite order is the chilaquiles

Yelp
I recently attended a reunion at Kiki's. A beautiful buffet, beverages, china and cutlery were organized in this cozy space comfortably hosting about 30 folks. What a wonderful ambiance for a small event! The owners were friendly, accommodating, and attentive to the party. They were flexible to any needs of those attending our private event. For example, little ones asked for hot cocoa and they were ready with whipped cream and all! Did I mention that the food was tasty too? If you're in need of a venue to host a group of loved ones, look no further than Kiki's Kitchen. We all had a pleasant time.

Yelp
Picked up a breakfast burrito when I was in the hood. Chorizo and egg. It was a bit on the pricier side for the area at $12, but massive and tasted good, was big as a baby's arm. I was sad they didn't have refried beans, but such is life. The homemade salsa they make is delicious. Gave me a decent size portion of fresh hot crispy chips. It's in a funky corner of a business park, so easy parking. They work with what they got, they set up a cute outside eating area. Quite busy and seemed short staffed like the rest of the world so no rush.
google avatar

Fatima T.

Yelp
The food is great and the owner she's so nice and great service please support small businesses not just franchises thanks .
google avatar

Michael Q.

Yelp
Skip the coffee. It's too overpriced for being nearly $4-5. Super weak and flavorless

Gildardo C.

Yelp
Came in had the chilaquiles they were amazing!!! Cozy spot, lots of locals enjoying Sunday coffee and breakfast. I will definitely stop in every time I'm in town.

Sylvia M.

Yelp
Came here for breakfast not long ago and had a positive experience. The omelet I ordered was good but small and toast was one slice of bread cut in half instead of two, but it was still good and the since price was lower and I'm not a big eater, I was ok with that. The side potatoes were also good and the flavored coffee creamer is a plus. It's a cute cafe with a clean bathroom and good service. We will return again.
google avatar

Yelp
Best breakfast burritos I've found in Ventura Co. Nice little cafe in a medical office plaza. You'll walk/drive past it if you do know it's there.
google avatar

Joshua G.

Yelp
Food was very bland and water tasted like it was a mixed of arrowhead and toilet water. Dont trust the 4.2 stars.
google avatar

Dianne E.

Yelp
I didn't come here when it was under the previous management, but my fiance and his mom did. He doesn't like the food now under the new management, but I got the Californian eggs Benedict and I liked it a lot. It's spinach, tomato, sunny side up egg, and hollandaise sauce on an English muffin. You also get your choice of hash browns or potatoes. They let me substitute my side for fruit. My fiance got the waffle and sausage. He told me when it was under the previous management, the waffle came with whipped cream and fresh fruit. This time it only came with butter and syrup. He also said the sausage before was a lot bigger and tasted homemade. He didn't like the new sausage they serve now. I guess if you come here, try any of the eggs Benedicts because I really liked mine and my fiance's mom got the traditional eggs Benedict and she really liked it. This restaurant is open 7 days a week and it's in a super quiet neighborhood with lots of parking.

Yelp
Absolutely loved the chicken pesto sandwich! Easily one of the best I've ever tasted - tender chicken, flavorful pesto, and perfectly balanced. Highly recommend!
google avatar

Kathy B.

Yelp
We stumbled onto this place and boy were we happy! Fantastic service, from the Busser to the waitress, we never wanted for anything. Food was delicious and fast. I'm looking forward to eating there again soon! It's small but perfect, don't miss....
google avatar

Kimberly S.

Yelp
The atmosphere was really cute. The best about the food is the bagel, orange juice and coffee. Orange juice was fresh squeezed and really tasted fresh. Food was not that good. Had a chicken croissant special and the chicken tasted rubbery in some areas and was not good. Also had some mustard in sand which which tasted like mustard you would have on a Cuban sandwich so figured it must have been on knife but I really hate mustard. The pancakes were doughy. Maybe a bad day for the cook but I gave three stars due to the bagel and juice. They were great.
google avatar

Marla P.

Yelp
Lovely little spot, convenient to nearby office buildings. Breakfast and lunch choices lovely. Low key - would be a good meet up spot for quiet breakfast or lunch with friends
google avatar

Liz G.

Yelp
Service was pleasant. We decided to check it out after daylight savings. No wait time. Booth for our family of 4. Kids menu offers great choices. Husband ordered French toast was not disappointed. I decided to try their Huevos Rancheros in green chile. Enjoyed it! They also offer different options such as Lattes, Coffee. Any place that I can order a latte with my breakfast is a winner! We absolutely will go back again !

Jason L.

Yelp
There was a line for cafe Amri, my family and I decided to give this cafe a try. First glance, way too small to be a cafe. I ordered the verde chilaquiles, it was just way too spicy and way too salty for my liking. Not good at all. My mom got a breakfast burrito and it had no meat, it was all just egg and had no flavor. This place is not worth the hype. You're better off waiting an additional 15 minutes and going to cafe Amir which is just across the street.
google avatar

Desiree T.

Yelp
Food was amazing 10 out of 10. Staff was super attentive and polite. Nice jazz music was a nice touch while eating. Really cute nice family breakfast/lunch spot to add to the rotation.
google avatar

Homer S.

Yelp
I payed $10 for this? This was my first time here and it will be my last. Next time I'm going to topper pizza. I like supporting locals businesses but after this anemic sandwich never again. Throw in some chips at least, maybe some avocado?
google avatar

Robert N.

Yelp
What an assortment on their menu!!! My daughter and I had breakfast a few weekends back and it was excellent!!! Great food, reasonably priced and the staff was great. I think we found our "go to" family owned local restaurant. Can't wait to try lunch!!!
google avatar

Payam Ali K.

Yelp
Extremely easy 5 star to give. I mean.. the food, service, pricing, and everything else was above the normal. Ojai eggs Benedict was absolutely amazing. The burrito was on point. Everything about this place for breakfast says come here. One thing I must say is the owner and employees here are truly something else as they are really nice and try to cater as much as possible to the visitors. Overall, it's an easy place to rate and I will definitely be back for more food whether it's breakfast or lunch.
google avatar

Janet R.

Yelp
I've always driven by and wondered how good it was and I finally decided to stop. This little place is terrific. Very very good staff. I had the BLT that was perfection. Lots of bacon and I wonder where they get their tomatoes. They tasted like tomatoes! I'm looking forward to returning and trying something else from their unique menu.

Paula M.

Yelp
I had the best salmon scramble I've ever had here. Muffins were fresh, service excellent, prices were reasonable, and it wasn't crowded.
google avatar

Sin N.

Yelp
First and LAST time I ever come here. Found this disgusting piece of string in my breakfast burrito today 11/17/21. I feel sick to my stomach...and yes it's about a foot long and looks dirty. God please don't let this be the way I die. Paid $12 for potential food poisoning
google avatar

PsychzHD ..

Yelp
Great little breakfast spot, me and my girlfriend love coming here for sandwiches and coffee. The staff are very polite and the cafe is very clean and well put together. vibes are cozy with great food" - Girlfriend I had to stop mid sandwich to make this review, the farmhouse was delicious!
google avatar

Tim C.

Yelp
Good food in a nice clean atmosphere at a fair price. This 8am. The service was a little slow but understandable with minimal people they had working. I would certainly return
google avatar

E. Ann B.

Yelp
Food is good and reasonable Price If you have time and don't mind waiting probably higher stars but I think the wait for taking my order and getting the food is a bit long So for a work lunch break I won't do it or if you are pretty hungry
google avatar

Aaronela O.

Yelp
Superb weekly go to lunch spot when in the area. Both breakfast and lunch are excellent. I tend to love the panini's. Portions are very generous, and will leave you satisfied. Ingredients taste very fresh. Menu has staple American, and some Mexican staples for breakfast and lunch. Indoor and outdoor seating. Drink selection is very small. Some canned sodas, and bottled water. Bottled coke. I highly recommend checking this place out if you're in the area, and really hungry.

Janette A.

Yelp
Waffle order with bacon , the bacon taste like the pan and waffle had no flavor Chilaquiles with eggs and hash browns were bland . The eggs had no salt or taste , the hash browns lacked flavor . Chicken friend steak with eggs weren't good the chicken fried steak was tough and biscuit was so dry and hard I was afraid to breath in , I thought I would choke on it . Never going back
google avatar

Yelp
I've been coming here to this spot since it was first named Cuppa Joe's and Lisa was the owner. This store was changed to Kiki's Kitchen awhile back by and mother and daughter duo who were extremely kind and changed up the menu a bit. They've kept some of the wall decals from Cuppa Joes but the interior has changed quite a bit for the better since then. It's still a quiet and calm atmosphere unless it's the lunch rush for the medical buildings around here. The food is delicious and it feels like a good home cooked meal with the cozy vibes. You order by the register and the staff is friendly and helpful, I do wish that they have more options with the milk types they serve but it's fine, considering everything about the place is very welcoming and QUIET. My go to favorites here are the Denver omelette with the fresh fruit and a Dirty Chai with half and half. Overall, besides the milk options, wouldn't change a thing. You can also order ahead as well (I do recommend this option if you have only a 30min lunch!!!), there is outside seating, a non-gender restroom, but no WiFi so don't think to much about cruising the web here. You can find a lot of Keto friendly items, vegetarian items, carnivore, and other assortment of entrees that you can modify for your food needs; just ask! They're awesome here! All in all come on in! They're now open seven days a week and under new management; new management but the food is still awesome and at a great price.
