Kikka Hirado

Kikka Hirado is a great place to spent some time. - The view is fantastic - The staff is super friendly - The food delicious (and i believe 100% local) - The sauna with its view and terrace (incl. ice bathing) was my personal highlight - The room size was generous, everything was clean and i loved to relax at the day bed It is a place where you want to relax and enjoy nature. Therefore I would highly recommend everyone to stay at least two nights. We spend two days but i next time i would extend to three days in order to explore the island a bit more.

The view was great and the service was excellent. There weren’t many customers, so the staff took their time and served us with genuine care. We truly appreciated their heartfelt hospitality.

A serendipitous discovery of this hotel resulted in an instant and excellent decision to stay. It is a small exquisite piece of design by Tatsuro Sasaki Architects and every detail is perfect. Amazing location, views, rooms, food, service and overall quiet private luxurious ambience. But also very friendly and down to earth. We sat Zazen with a local monk the morning after our arrival. Absolutely wonderful. You want to come here. Thank you Ohno our most marvelous host.

This place is foreigner friendly and even the food is delicious with a view of the sea meeting with the sky. The ingredients for their dishes are locally sourced so you could have a unique experience. The service is so good that they even make you comfortable even when you have toddlers by taking care of them. People who have meal preferences due to medical or religious reasons are also taken care if they are included when you book your experience with kikka

Kikka Hirado was the highlight of our Japan trip, exceeding all our expectations. Every aspect of this hotel is exceptional—from the breathtaking scenery and stunning architecture to the exquisite cuisine crafted by Chef Noda. The hospitality here is in a league of its own. Hotel manager Ohno and the entire team at Kikka Hirado anticipated our every need, consistently going above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. Thank you very much! In addition, the islands of Hirado and Ikitsuki offer a serene and captivating escape, far from the typical tourist trails. They’re best explored by car, and the quiet beauty of these islands made our visit even more memorable.

佐々木達郎氏が設計した、とても素敵な建物でした。 幼児を連れての宿泊でしたが、とても快適に過ごせました。スタッフの方も皆さんとても親切で、細やかな配慮を感じました。幼児用の衣類やアメニティはないので、持参が必要ですが、様々な幼児備品が揃っていました。 食事もとても美味しかったです。イノシシやしま豚、イカやカワハギなど季節に合わせた地元の食材を使ったコース料理と平戸の日本酒をいただきました。朝食には、棚田米の土鍋ご飯と生卵もあり、食事、器共に素晴らしかったです。機会があれば、また泊まりたいです。

サウナがあるホテルで家族でゆっくりしたいと思って探して、見つけたホテルです。 サウナの中からは、大きな窓から穏やかな海とゆっくりと通過する船が見えます。 外気浴はウッドデッキに、かなり冷たい水風呂とサウナチェアが並んでおり、視界いっぱいに広がる海を眺めながら楽しむことができました。 設備全般もとても綺麗だし、ウェアやタオル、ポンチョも用意されていて何度も楽しむ事ができました。 お部屋もとても洗練されており、鏡やフックといった細部までデザインされていました。とても居心地がよかったです。そして部屋からも大きな窓からずっと海が見えました。 夜、朝と合計4回の食事を頂きましたが、地元のお魚やお肉の美味しさが引き出された食事でとても美味しく、毎回楽しみでした。 なかなかホテルの食事でここまで満足度の高いお食事も少ないのでは？と思いました。 夜は外の焚火でマシュマロ焼きをさせていただき、子どもも喜んでいました。 また食事中もピアノの演奏をしていただき、子どもがリクエストした曲を翌日弾いてくださったのは感動しました。 滞在中、関わってくださるスタッフさん全ての方々がこちらを心地よく過ごさせてくれようとする気持ちがとても感じられました。 ぜひまた伺いたいです。 どうもありがとうございました。
