This is my first time at Killer Burger. They were extremely busy, the line was to the door. Normally I would not be patient enough to wait. The line moved very quickly to my surprise. We waited about 30 minutes or so before out order was ready. I'm am impressed at this point for volume of people. I had a classic Burger, which was an adequate Burger, but not exceptional. Since they just opened and were very busy, I hope the food will improve. The Burger was the same as any other joint and my hope is it will get better with time, fries were great, onion ring needed to be crisper. 5 star service, 4 star food. I will visit again in the future and change my post if I feel differently.

My friend and I recently went to Killer Burger after deciding against trying a new burger spot in town with not-so-great reviews. We both ordered the Classic Burger (original size) for $11.40 each, along with onion rings (advertised as share-size) and fries. The burgers themselves were very good, though the buns were cold and definitely would have been better warmed. The fries were tasty and a good portion, but the onion rings were on the small side for something marketed as shareable. The staff was friendly and helpful, and I really appreciated that they’re open until 10:00 p.m. Something that’s hard to find in Bend. On the downside, I wish they had milkshakes or a dessert option other than cookies or rice crispy… ; the drink selection was limited to sodas and beer on tap. One thing I found odd was the interior design — there’s a wooden pergola structure inside the restaurant. It’s not structural or architectural, so it feels out of place and a little confusing. Wonder why they did this? Overall, it was a good experience and I’d go back, though I do think the prices run a little high for what you get. With so many great local burger spots in Bend at similar price points (like Blue Eyes), I’d be more inclined to support local places first.

Delicious food, fun atmosphere, and quick service. I noticed that the employees are really nice and friendly. Georgia took our order in a polite, courteous, and professional manner. I ordered the chicken sandwich. Chicken sndwiches usually come out super thick, but this was perfect and a lot easier to eat. The breading was crispy and tasty. I highly recommend!

This place was amazing. It was a bit busy because this restaurant just opened and everyone locally was raving about it. I have to say, this place was a bit better than 5 Guys and Burgerville. Such an interesting selection of burgers on the menu and decently priced. One person in our party had celiac disorder and I asked if they had gluten free items. They do have a gluten free bun for the burgers. However, the fried chicken is not gluten free. Consumers may get cross contamination from prep and fries as it is prepared on a common prep surface table and staff were very knowledgeable of that. The restaurant was clean, however, the restrooms can use a cleaning every now and then. This does not play a role in my rating. The staff did not listen attentively, that one order was missed but a manager quickly rectified the situation. I ordered the PB&J Pickle Burger and it was everything that met my expectations. That menu burger was a solid 5-stars. The fries were crisp and the burger just melted in my mouth. Yum! The atmosphere was busy and the customers kept on coming. Just questions why this particular location was chosen and how high volume the traffic was in the store. I would definitely come back again.

Great service considering how busy it was mid-afternoon! The Jose Mendoza burger was excellent and the fries were good too. They have a lunch/meal option with a smaller burger that I’ll probably try next time.

Google
Wow A+++ Peanut butter pickle and bacon burger?! Let’s go! This place crushes it like burger pros…the patties are 1/3 lbs of seasoned goodness…almost every burger on the menu comes with bacon. Pro tip the fries can be ordered with seasoning off menu if you ask. I just loved how the kitchen was cranking out these burger creations with high energy and smiling….you can tell this is an experienced ownership group bringing a perfected burger process to Bend. 🤌 Just awesome

Google
Disappointing. The service was mid. I felt rushed ordering because there was only one person taking orders and at the same time she was handing out pickup orders. I got the Teemah burger. It was supposed to have blue cheese and when I asked the girl about it when she brought the food she was argumentative like I don’t know what hell blue cheese crumbles look like and then walked off. Didn’t even attempt to look at the burger. The fries are good but if you can’t have salt be ware of eating here.

Google
I ordered online since it was close to noon! My food was amazing as always. Peanut butter burger is the best! My estimated time for pickup was only 2 minutes off. And with how busy they were I would say that’s amazing! The young lady clearing tables and serving food was fantastic, staying on top of it all! I can’t wait to go back! I don’t like fast food, but these burgers are a step above!!!

Yelp
Lunch Review - Killer Burger (Bend, Oregon) Lunch with a friend at Killer Burger turned out to be a very good experience. The space is clean, sleek, and modern. The staff were friendly, polite, and professional. There was a short line, but it moved fast. It is a standard setup where you order at the counter, get a number, and the food is brought to your table. Our food came out quickly without feeling rushed. Most burgers run just under ten dollars for a single, with the option to go double for just under thirteen. The regular size fries come in at a reasonable $3.95. Shareable size at $7.95/ Lucky for me, my friend picked up the tab. Thanks Chris. I ordered the Motley Que. It is a western style burger with bacon, bbq sauce, crispy onions, and Monterey jack. A very tasty burger. I cannot think of anything I would change. The flavors came together well, and the bun was soft yet held its structure. The fries were great and crispy. Overall this was a strong lunch. I would definitely recommend Killer Burger as a great lunch spot.

Yelp
Bend does not lack for burger joints, even good burger joints. Americana, located downtown, for example, or Hardy's on the northside. Several others. So Killer Burger has a hill to climb in order to make an impression. I'd say they succeeded. Located in the Costco complex doesn't hurt I suppose (although some have said why pay $20 for a burger meal when you can get $1.50 hot dogs from Costco). Layout is fast casual - order at the counter, take a seat and wait. Your meal will be delivered (or your name will be called for takeout). Dining area is typical fast-food ambiance, but with a beer option. - Jose Mendoza burger, original size: this is a very good burger and about the size I prefer. Touch of spiciness, not too much. Meat perfectly prepared. Is it the best burger in Bend? Who can say; tastes vary but I'd order it again. - Onion rings: Total letdown. These are not good onion rings - bland, underdone, limp. My order was takeout and I imagine the box KB packages to-go orders in doesn't help. - I didn't order a drink. If they offered Coke products, I might have. I don't prefer Pepsi. Besides beer/cider, I saw they have three lemonade choices. All said, a solid burger joint. Not sure I'd want to come here for dinner and a beer but it's an option. I do wish KB would not package to-go orders in that plasticized box - the burger and especially the onion rings or fries will steam too much. Wrap the burger and dump it and the onion rings/fries in the bag. Like 5 Guys does.

Yelp
Went to Costco today. Instead of the $1.50 hot dog & pop, we decided to try Killer Burgers. Had to send mine back because bum was still frozen. My wife asked for mushroom burger with no bacon. She got a bacon burger. Took a long time to get orders. If only we had an "In & Out Burger," near by! Service was blah! Better at Costco food court! Next time, hot dog & pop!

Yelp
Killer burger is the next best thing! Unique burgers and a daily boxed lunch special for $12! My friend got the PB pickle bacon burger and loved it. A PB sauce, thick pickle slices and 2 100% beef patties. The chicken tenders were moderately breaded and served with fries. I chose the house sauce and honey mustard, both were good. Fresh cut fries. Indoor and outdoor seating. We will go back to try another menu item.

Yelp
Asked a few questions while ordering, received "I don't know" several times so just ordered with no feedback. Burgers were good and fries were crispy. But the salt levels were through the roof for both our burgers...... and we like salt. Probably try again but not anytime soon.

Yelp
First time trying Killer Burger. Went with the OG and some fries. Got delivery, so can't speak to the ambiance or service, but it came really quickly, still hot. Love the takeout box that has tear away lid so much easier to eat out of the box. Small but really cool feature. I thought the burger was quite good. Nice brioche bun, juicy plenty of toppings that all went together. Great pickles. For a delivered burger I would definitely get it again. The fries were good too- plentiful, crispy but not too crunchy. Some sauce would have been nice- my only quibble.

Yelp
Food was meh? The place was dirty, tables weren't wiped down, debris on the floor. They weren't particularly busy so I assume bad training or management. In my mind if the front of the house looks bad what does the kitchen look like? And when did wearing hair nets and gloves while prepping food stop? Guess I'm just old fashioned.

Yelp
Killer Burger just opened in Bend last month, and it's already a hit. When I lived in the valley, I loved the Sherwood location, so I was excited to see one here. The burgers are stacked and flavorful -- the peanut butter burger is worth trying -- and they've got plenty of seating, including picnic benches outside. Add in beer on tap and a casual, lively atmosphere, and it's a great addition to town. It is counter service set up.

Krista S.

Yelp
First time at KB.... Thought burger was quite good, even a close second to In and Out burger. My only observation after reading quite a few reviews... the buns need help. They are not warm and some reviews said they were cold or partially frozen. My thoughts... warm the buns or better, toast them. That would give the burger a 5 star review. Glad u r here! Hope to see an improved bun next visit

Yelp
Enjoyable experience. Friendly staff. Food quality was good. Tried the Peanut Butter Bacon burger . It was tasty. I would recommend giving them a try. I'm going to come back next time I'm in town and try something different. There's some really good stuff here.

Yelp
Meat cooked well, bun was cold not toasted at all , this is important. Fries were not great as they should be No ketchup on tables , or salt n pepper. Rolls of paper towels on tables! No napkins Pepsi tasted great Will wait another year at least to try again. We need an In n Out Burger in Central Oregon.

Jenn B.

Yelp
The burgers were tasty and the staff was very friendly. The fries however were way too salty.....Way. Too. Salty!

Yelp
Excellent service that goes above and beyond even while dealing with the madness of being a new location. Got the Purist burger and it was incredible. Great taste, high quality and delicious. The restaurant is clean and well run, employees make sure everyone has what they need! This a great addition to Bend! My family can't wait to go back.

Francesca B.

Yelp
We shared two different burgers, they were both good. The fries were gently crisp on the outside and moist/soft on the inside. The gal (don't remember her name) was very nice & helpful.

Matt B.

Yelp
Had to wait 25 min for a chicken sandwich. Staff didn't look happy to be there. The chicken sandwich was dripping with grease and bun was cold. Music was insanely loud. Would not return or recommend.

Yelp
Hubs and I ordered 2 Classics, lg fry to share and 2 sauces to go. Our burgers were amazingly delish and wow the looks when we opened boxes, just like the menu pic. Our side sauces were the Bender, a spicy bbq and the peanut butter. Both were excellent. I'm not a fan of their fries. But that single patty burger was huge and I could only eat 1/2, hubs ate all. Side Peanut sauce was so good I think I will venture to the Peanut Pickle Bacon Burger next time. I can't imagine any of their burgers not being epic. 10 min to get my order that was brought to me, pretty sure it was a manager. Need time for perfection, it's not your typical fast food. Great service and restaurant was impressive and clean and all tables had a roll of paper towels on a stand, genius.

Yelp
When we arrived on a Saturday afternoon nearing 1pm, the line was to the door. It moved quickly enough and we studied the menu while we waited. We ordered to Killer boxes which included any pint sized burger, small fries and a fountain drink. The portions were generous, interesting beverage choices (fresh lemonade, peach iced tea) which I'm grateful for because I don't care for Pepsi products. The fries were the star of the show. Hot, crispy on the outside and fluffy in the middle. Perfection! The burger was just okay. It was a single patty that was about 1/2-3/4 inch thick. It was dry and overcooked but edible. It isn't a smash burger so not sure why it was so overcooked. They just opened so maybe they were working out the kinks. Loved Don! He was friendly and helpful at the counter and was welcoming when he asked us how our meal was when we were seated outside. We will definitely be back.

Monty K.

Yelp
Tried the new Killer Burger in Bend today, we were there at 2:00 pm and took advantage of the $11 deal that gave us a smaller burger, some fries, and a drink. The perfect amount of food and a great price, also loved the way the burger was cooked. Delicious. We will be back.

Simi S.

Yelp
The food is great - the PB burger was insane and will definitely get this again. However, service took very long. That's the only negative thing I'd say. Worth the wait, but I mention this because we preordered during our lunch break and even though we ordered prior, we still waited an additional 20 minutes because the order wasn't ready.
