Kiln Creek Golf Club and Resort

Unfortunately it was far too windy and cold to enjoy a round of golf, but the grounds still made for a beautiful backdrop to the celebration. Location is definitely a plus— conveniently close to shops, restaurants, and the outlet mall. The rooms weren’t particularly luxurious, but were comfortable and well-kept. Coming from a person with back issues a good bed is a must when away from home and I was pleasantly surprised at how supportive and comfortable the bed was. Slept great, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Another highlight was the food, well prepared and the short rib in particular was absolutely Devine - tender, flavorful and perfectly cooked. An overall wonderful spot to host a wedding or event!

The golf course is fine. I would say it is overpriced for comparable courses in the area however. The food at the nest was good. It was slow to come out, but the end product was of quality. Unfortunately, the service was slow and our waiter seemed a bit obtuse.

Beautiful golf course and changing room. Restaurant always smells amazing, though we haven't tried it yet. Pro shop has alot of items available. Golf carts are upgrade nice showing a digital map of the course. Little higher priced than average golf course but this is not average, its great! Check it out!!

This is our second year hosting a golf tournament at Kiln Creek. The Pro Shop and Event staff were very helpful. Owen and Ruthanne are great to work with and met our every need. The weather this year was a bit cold and misty (due to rain), so they moved us from the outside pavilion to the upstairs event hall. It was beautiful - floor to ceiling windows with views of the course. We have already booked our golf tournament with them for next year.

We had a wonderful experience with Erika who assisted us in planning a celebration for a family remember. She was professional, prompt, and accommodating. A+++

The food was good I am gluten-free I have celiac they were vrey careful I appreciate that but the water smelled like chlorine that water made my mom sick and my cup had dirt at the bottom of my cup that is disgusting other then that good service nasty glasses and Chlorine drinking water 💧

Garret was exceptionally helpful and full of knowledge and insight to the course itself and the area. He made our day! I recommend stopping in and Golfing and enjoy the stay.

My wife and I spent out honeymoon here 32 years ago. It is as beautiful then as it is now. That goes for my wife also. But back to the review. I attended a college graduation party for my niece. Everything was wonderful as far as the food , service and drink. The issue that u have is with the air conditioning. It was obviously broken. It was at least 80 degrees inside. It was uncomfortable and ruined my experience. If not for the air conditioning, I would have given this review all 5 stars. I would have expected some type of relief, maybe portable units, or moving the event to another room. When you are dressed up, sweating inside of an event where you expect air conditioning is like getting cold french fries. Its a deal breaker for me. This was written for the event Saturday, June 28, 2025 6pm in the upstairs event room. I hope for others the air conditioning is working properly now.

We are here for a family wedding at the Resort. The room was fantastic we had #102 nice large room back door leads out to a practice putting green. Temperature is controlled perfectly in the rooms. The wedding party was on the first floor along with us, there is no elevator for the second floor rooms. They told us that when I booked the room. Wedding went off perfectly outside had great weather and then the reception was held on the second floor in the main building food was great, Lasagne, Chicken, roasted potatoes, garlic bread and mixed vegetables. You must ask for room service from the front desk. Very accommodating, being that we arrived after 2 AM due to the government shut down and flights being re scheduled. directions were very clear on where to get our room keys along with all necessary codes. Also received (2) $10 Food certificates in our room when we checked in. Never have to go outside to get to the NEST which is the restaurant so that is wonderful. We are enjoying our stay and a couple of more days left.

Great course, well kept. Great staff! Left my very nice range finder on the cart and the staff held it in lost and found.

Stopped in for a quick lunch. Three tables including ours. The other two were 6+ groups. Food was good (a club sandwich with fries) but not enough to offset the time it took. Took almost an hour and would be understandable if both tables got served before us but that was not the case.

A very nice place, pleasant staff, good location. Was disappointed that it wasn't Handicap friendly. Lots of activities, sports bar and lounge. Overall we had a good time.

I have been driving past this golf course four years. My golf club just had an event there this weekend so I was more than happy to go try it. Needless to say I was very impressed. Some of the holes were challenging. The golf course looked to be well kept as well. I didn't realize how nice the neighborhood around the golf course was as well. I'll definitely be back to play this course again in the near future. The staff took great care of us and they had pretty decent food as well for reasonable prices.

This is an extremely clean pool with nice clientele, a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere and wonderful lifeguards!

My friends and I returned yesterday to play a round of golf. We used to play there regularly but the greens were in such bad shape last year we stopped playing there. Folks, not much has changed. The greens on the back nine are still horrible. There is more grass on them than before but for $39 or $49(depending on time of day), there are several better options. It's a shame because we are impressed with the Nest restaurant and pavilion but the course needs a lot of work.

Newly renovated bar and grill l, aka The Nest. Spent the evening with friends enjoying their new happy hour. I ordered the appetizer ribs, but ended up with the dinner ribs. Oh my gosh, not only delicious ribs, but the best corn on the cob ever, tender and juicy. Shout out to Jessica for fixing the misunderstanding, so now I owe. Friendly and inviting atmosphere. Enjoy, highly recommend.

Played this course today with a threesome. Underestimated time & traffic flow from hotel to golf course. Called Billy @ golf club office to inform of our situation. He said no problem & within 10 minutes of arrival we were teeing off. I'm a novice golfer, but course in great shape. Restrooms very clean & orderly. The staff was very,very friendly and helpful during our golf round. Golf refreshment cart young lady came often to see if we needed any beverages or snacks. She came by just the right number of times. Will definitely recommend this course. Got great deal from Golf Now website.

This review is for the bridal show. It was super small not what expected at all especially to be charged for it. It wasn't very convincing. Dif disappointed

The "Nest" @ Kiln Creek is new so still needs some tweaking. However, I live in KC and find it convenient and pleasant. The new party facility is very nice and overlooks the pool. The Country Club and looks are great and the food is "to die for"!

Kiln creek is probably the worst golf course I have paid money to golf at. The management team was extremely unprofessional and the course itself was in utter despair. It most certainly has the potential to be great, but without the proper leadership there, I don't see that happening.

Played back in August. I am new to the area and came from southern Texas so I'm used to dried out golf courses with lots of roll. This course is in rough shape. I don't mind the rough being a little "too rough" but the fairways and even tee boxes were terrible. The design is not bad and is nice and open so you can shank it a little bit if you're like me and need a little space to play. But the course condition was just bad. I paid $45 but that seems high for the condition it was in. I played a different course a few weeks later and the guy I was playing with told me this course has changed ownership a few times lately so that may be contributing to the poor condition. There is also an awkward amount of cart paths in very awkward and criss-crossing places. Looks like they had old cart paths that instead of tearing up or resurfacing - they just ignored and put in a new cart path. It is a community course so lots of older golfers probably need the paths but it was just a strange amount of pavement flanking the holes.
