Kilo - Review - Astoria - New York - The Infatuation
"Mix some rice and farofa with the juices from the feijoada or stewed oxtail at Kilo, and you’d be perfectly happy without an ounce of meat. You’d also be happy with nothing but meat, especially if you pick it up from the BBQ station in the back, where you can order tender top sirloin and juicy chicken hearts by the pound. But for how good the food is, what really separates this Astoria spot from other Brazilian buffets is its full bar, which you can enjoy while watching soccer on TV inside, or at a table on the curbside patio out front." - Matt Tervooren
Service was very good, food wasn't the best. My bff, which is Brazilian, both agreed it could be better...since pandemic quality of food is not up to par. I had an authentic Brazilian dish, and I wasn't happy with the flavor. I've had better at home. Its a lil pricey for 2 adults and 1 child.

Kilo is probably my go to place when I'm feeling carnivorous. It used to be a buffet and they weighed your plate by the kilo but because of covid, no buffet. Just a regular restaurant but still just as delicious!
The service was great. The crowd is very much older and loves to get wasted. 100% here for it, though.
Felt a bit more expensive than when I used to be able to bring my own container, but definitely worth it!

Great experience at Kilo last week!
I was looking for a brasilian bbq in Astoria and decided to venture to Kilo for the first time.
Their prices are very low and their meat is delicious.
Buffet has quite few things from veggies to rice, salad, fried plantains.
Our waiter was super friendly and i also got a truffle chocolate as a treat!
Will go back!

Cozy hipster spot with modern decor, serving Brazilian drinks and food, from salads to hot dishes, and churrasco, traditional barbecue, all very tasty, all payed by weight ( kilo from the metric system ) friendly staff and great atmosphere. Or maybe was the caipirinhas ;~{)

This is nice addition to Astoria Ditmars food scene. It is a great option for brunch, week day lunch or regular night out. The restaurant includes an out door section, bar area, cold salad bar, hot dish bar and grill window. Everything here tastes fresh and well prepared. Most importantly, the steak is great!
