Great food and coffee. A good stop for a quick, easy bite. Staff are friendly, direct, and warm.
Ambiance is good for a quick stop. Very simple and straightforward.
The atmosphere, however, felt chilly. Our car had broken down in the rain, so we need a place to duck in with our dog and sort out next steps. We were told that we couldn’t stay with our dog - which makes good sense. The barista offered us a cup of whipped cream for our pup, which was sweet. We asked to wait by the door, as it was rainy and windy outside. Staff agreed, but shortly after we were asked to wait outside. Our dog had barked 🤦🏾♀️
This place is a cute but tight squeeze - not much coverage outside from the rain and wind.
Honestly, I understand about not allowing pups inside - it’s code requirements, after all. The part that was difficult for me was the mixed messaging - we had originally ordered the drinks to dine in, and it seemed like it wasn’t an issue. Then, we were asked to move, so we went by the door to stay out of the rain. Then we were asked to go outside. I would have appreciated clarity from the start, and some grace with the heavy storm.
For context, Bennet is 11 years old, small-medium (25lbs), and our car broke down on the way to a veterinary appointment. We didn’t need much - just a few minutes to wait for our Lyft to arrive.
All in all, stop here with a pet if you’re on a walk and it’s a sunny day where you can get your drink & treat and keep walking. Don’t plan to linger with your pet.
