Glad I stopped here for a genuine taste of Chicago before our visit to the aquarium! Normally speaking $7 for a hot dog might seem expensive but these Chicago style dogs are topped to the brim and loaded with banana peppers, tomato, relish and onion that comes together for a delicious meal on the go. The folks behind the counter were excellent too, they told us about a shady little spot across the street where we could enjoy our dogs and beat the heat. If you are walking by, don't miss out on this unassuming stand, it is great!

We went to the location by the Field Museum. The staff was friendly and quick at assembling our hot dogs. The Chicago Dog had fresh veggies and a nice kick from the jalapeño and bell peppers. The Chili Cheese Dog was also good, though not as good as the Chicago Dog. It's one of the best, and quite frankly, one of the only, food options on Museum Campus.

I came to this stand after getting very hungry at the Field Museum. I usually avoid hot dogs, but because I was in Chicago I decided to try getting the full Chicago style hot dog with all of the toppings. There was a lot going on in this hot dog, and I wasn't expecting it. The fresh tomatoes, pickle spears, and peppers added a great freshness. I would prefer the peppers to be chopped up a bit because otherwise you end up eating one whole pepper at a time, which then dominates the flavor. I thought the sausage was pretty good but quite small so it got lost in everything else. The bun is pretty nice and soft and the poppy seeds were a nice touch, though it did get soggy towards the end of the dog. Overall, this was a very interesting experience. It hasn't turned me into a hot dog person, but it's certainly expanded my view on what a hot dog can be.

Eh! It’s alright. Nothing special about this place. You can check off the list that you had a Chicago style hotdog. The location is perfect. The view is great. You can eat at the park bench. They do have a vegetarian hotdog option as well.

Amazing hot dog that I really enjoyed (and I don't usually like hot dogs). All the vegetable toppings really made it taste fresh. And the view you get while eating it was amazing. The polish hot dog was the best version!

My husband and I actually stopped by Kim and Carlo's cart on the west side of town at Eckhart park instead of this location but still delicious!! My husband got the polish dog. Both tasty! Best Chicago dog overall and wonderfully friendly people!

My husband and I both got the Chicago Style Hotdog and they were delicious. The next day we were in the area again and we went back for a second round. We think they were a great quick meal for a reasonable price.

A great quick stop for lunch in-between stops at museums. They are locatef right by the field museum, across from sheds aquarium. Hot dog was good. I do feel it is a little pricey at $7 a hot dog but cheaper than eating in the museums and on par for being in Chicago. Combos which include a bag of chips and a pop are $10-$12. There is a nice grassy area close by with shade and picnic tables you can sit and enjoy your meal.
