Went before the rush hour on Sunday. Got lucky! Our noodles were delicious. I got the house noodle. French coffee was good.

Google
Heard a few locals say this is one of their top 5 fave noodle spot. I ordered #26 - Fujian Shrimp and Pork Mei Wong. It is dry noodles , soup on the side. As you bite in you’ll immediately recognize the hint of vinegary flavor on the noodles. It was light, easy and sumptuously good. On first look you might think it is Vietnamese as that cracker with shrimp looks like one. It turns out it is equivocally Fujian dish. Maybe Taishan? Peach Green Tea - it is $2. I felt it was way too syrupy sweet. I did not like it as much. If you get the one with plum in it, it is $7 buy 1 get 1. The House Special congee - has shrimp , pork, chicken, beef, liver and kidney. I am not a fan of liver and kidney, they did remove it for me. I came on a Saturday. 1pm. There were some people queued up outside but I was alone. I got seated asap.

I've been to this place a couple of times. Always pretty good, but because it's good, it's always overflowing with people waiting outside. It's really hard to get in. But once you manage to get into the "secret club", it's good! Next time, to avoid the crowds, I'm ordering to-go though.

Google
An absolute gem this chinese noodle spot serves up bowls of comfort with rich broths, perfectly chewy noodles and bold authentic flavors that hit all the right notes. A must visit for noodle lovers.

Google
One of the local spots for noodle soup! All sorts of combinations. The infamous house special noodles, your choice wet or dry. Pick the type of noodles you fancy. Other well known is their fried dough with eggs, omelette typed, served with chopped onions and salted/fermented dry radish bits. The hot chili/satay sauce is so good to go along with any of the noodle dishes.

Food was okay, but will not come again. When we waited for about 30 mins on a Sunday during lunch hour, this guy just came in with his wife and kids. He then stopped a waitress to say hi. Waitress seemed to recognize him immediately and gave him an eye signal, then he was given the next table that was ready, before everyone else on the waitlist. Maybe inform your regulars/acquaintances to literally enter through the backdoor if you have to behave like this, so nobody would know.

A server took money from guest to be first get table even though there were 3 groups before them. Food is okay but service is… P/s: They are disgusting

Google
Only a 4.2????? Blasphemy!!!!! Top 3 noodles restaurants anywhere. Love this spot! You can choose soup inside or out, choose from 4 different noodles, pho, thick rice, egg, thick egg noodles and what is the sauce made out of? Not sure but it is spectacular!

Yelp
I liked this location much more than the other Kim Kee Noodle House! Restaurant will be busy any day of the week during lunch, but the staff works hard to turnover tables fast. My friends and I all got #22 -- Seafood with egg noodles, dry style. I got the thick egg noodles and was not disappointed. The shrimp chip was also not stale whatsoever (which I was afraid of, because the other location gave out stale chips) and tasted as it should. I enjoyed the vast amounts of fish balls and seafood in the dish. Parking lot in the back or street parking a block away.

Yelp
I am a huge fan of this place. It's the classic Chinese "small thin yellow noodle" spot that always brings me back to my childhood. I come here about once every two weeks and always get the same thing: Seafood thin yellow noodles with soup on the side. I highly recommend this place to anyone in need of a hangover cure or just looking to try something new. The broth is clean, flavorful, and will definitely help ward off the effects of any alcohol. The seafood and noodles are also great, especially when you add the condiments on the table. We also order the rice cakes with egg and peach green tea, which are both excellent. Plus, they have a BOGO deal for the peach green tea and plum tea duo, which is a steal! There's also an older man who helps out--I'm not sure if he's the owner, but he's super sweet. He once let me try the peach green tea when I asked about the drink that everyone around me was ordering. Truly a gem of a person. One thing to note: Don't expect this place to be the traditional "Hi! Welcome, how can I help you?" kind of spot. It's a fairly traditional Asian establishment, so be prepared for a "What do you want?" attitude. They mean well, but it can get a bit overwhelming when it's busy. Still, I would highly recommend it!

Yelp
Stopped by Kim Kee after a long day of errands with my boyfriend. I've been to all their locations, and this place never fails to impress. My go-to order is always the small egg noodle dry, and it' always hit the spot. The noodles are cooked perfectly, and the toppings are fresh and flavorful. My boyfriend decided to try the crispy noodles, but neither of us were fans. the sauce and texture just didn't work for us. the filet mignon rice dish was a hit! The meat was tender, and the flavor was spot on. Too much rice tho and not enough meat. Overall, Kim Kee holds a special place for me, especially for their egg noodle dry.

Yelp

Yelp
Food here is great! Service is also great. I don't recommend going around lunch time. This place is always a wait. They open as early as 8:00 AM. Great fix if you want Cambodian kathiew and don't have access to Cambodian food. The kidney was good but when you get the bowl, it's a very little Portion. There was a pile of bean sprout underneath that fooled us. The Chinese donut is crispy and delicious. The peach tea is my favorite thing to drink and it's a buy one and get one free. I recommend.

Yelp
This is my favorite noodle house in the SGV. Pretty much any dish you order is solid. They have fast service. You sit down and order and within less than a couple minutes they bring the bowl of noodles in front of you. The ambiance is a classic Chinese restaurant that is a ton of hustle and bustle. This place charges you extra if you use credit card. So there is a cash price that you should be aware of if you want to save 3%.

Yelp
First time at this location. Our favorite location in Monterey Park (MPK) was super packed so came here instead. This location is also very busy. We had to wait almost 30 mins to get seated. It's slightly bigger than the MPK location. We ordered our usuals, Beef Stew & #16 Assorted Balls Noodles Soup. They didn't have the special satay sauce here. The broth wasn't as good either. It was an okay experience, their MPK location is way better. Service was alright. They also have a small parking lot with limited street parking.

Yelp
Haven't been KK for a long time and it's still cash only!!! But New KK is located at the Valley Blvd in SGV area... the house n seafoods double noodles is still delicious and tasty!! I usually ordered thin rich noodles and thin egg noodles mix!!! The most important in the whole meal is using their XO spicy sauce with soy sauce together mix dipping with noodles and foods!!! This is one of the biggest reason I think they're popular in the area!!!

Yelp
This is one of the staples in Rosemead/SGV. If you arrive around 10 or 11 AM on the weekend, be prepared to wait. New Kim Kee is different than Kim Ky in Rosemead and San Gabriel, but the food they serve is almost the same and this location feels much cleaner. The nice thing is the servers are quick to clean up the tables and seat the next group. Once you place the order, the food comes out very quickly, especially if you get a noodle dish that they are known for. They serve iced tea without being asked, which is a plus. For food, my go to is #1 with pho noodles and thin egg noodles. This comes with liver, but if you don't like it, you can ask to have it removed. The soup always hits the spot, not too heavy, but still flavorful. Another popular dish is their satay beef dry noodles, which is essentially noodles covered in their satay sauce. This is a bit heavier for me. My husband enjoys it every time. For appetizers, try their pan fried rice cake with eggs and radish. It's made slightly different from Kim Ky, but ultimately the same taste. Bring cash, as they have a separate menu for credit card users or will charge you a fee for using card.

Yelp
Kim Kee is just a spot that you go for comfort food! Service here is great!! All the staff is super friendly and always entertaining my son while I try and get a quick bite in!

Yelp
One of the chef went to restroom and smoke in the enclosed restaurant. Owner should have a serious talk regarding smoking in the restroom .

Yelp
about 15 years ago there was a KIM KEE Noodle here at the same address n unit too but they closed. I didn't realize till now but they are different restaurant. the old one which is called kim kee i think the same as the 1 on san Gabriel b4 misson n the others are on GARVEY between walnut Grove n rosemead blvd the 1 here valley called NEW KIM KEE which i think franchise new kim kee also on GARVEY between Atlantic n Garfield. at first i was thinking of trying it out here on valley but after reading reviews lowest tip 18% so u r paying total at least 28% (10%tax n 18 tips). that extra 8% r extremely unreasonable i think that will cost them. take my advice n go try KIM KEE on Garvey between walnut n rosemead the food is good n service r good i went there but u want slightly better but so so service go to the 1 on san Gabriel between mission n valley. 10% tips will do

Yelp
I've been here several times and I think it's going downhill. Bunch of times I've tried to order different things and they said it wasn't available. Last time I came here, about half the menu (like all the fried rice dishes) was not available because they said they didn't have a cook. The pan fried rice cake is usually my favorite dish. Ordered the pan rice cake a few times from and always had egg shells in my food. The noodle soups are usually the ones that are available but it depends if they have the other ingredients in stock or not.

Yelp
This is my grandma's comfort food. She raves about how this is the best Teo Chew noodle soup place in socal and constantly craves the fried fish rolls and rice cake w/ egg! The place looks like any other fast dining Chinese restaurant. The service was very standard, sometimes it was fast and other times you were ignored because of how busy and short-staffed they were. The food comes out quick and hot. Fried fish rolls with noodles - the soup was very clean and light and the noodles were well cooked (not too soft and not easily breaking into little pieces). The fish rolls are my favorite; I could eat a whole bowl of them alone! Soy sauce rice cake w/ egg - the dish feels so simple but is delicious and comforting. Note: Make sure to bring cash or get charged a 4% card fee!
google avatar

Nancy T.

Yelp
Good Teo Chew food. I love their noodles. The only downside is that when I gave them my card, they said 4 percent fee okay? Note to self, bring cash next time. Super small parking lot with only one lane going in. Everytime I come to a Kim Kee chain, I order to share, the daikon raddish, sticky rice with eggs that come with vinegar. I always get the fish cake appetizer and pour out many scoops of their Sate sauce! Both dishes make good leftovers. My main dish this time was the won ton noodle soup with everything together.
google avatar

Jenny R.

Yelp
Love love this kind of noodles for some Asian comfort! The broth is flavorful and service is quick. I got the combination and they let you pick two different noodles to use. There's a wide variety of bowls to pick and they also have rice dishes for those that don't prefer that. If you don't like soup noodles, you can get it dry. Their satay sauce is a great compliment to the food! No fuss place. Make sure to bring cash to pay or they Will charge more for use of the plastic!

Yelp
I visited this restaurant with my mom today, i ordered #1 and my mom ordered #21. Speaking for myself the food is incredibly bland, like literally no flavor. I had to add hoisin sauce, hot sauce, and vinegar for flavor. The noodles were somewhat chewy which i didn't mind but the shrimp, ground pork, chicken was flavorless. I finished my bowl because i was hungry but i don't see the hype. It was also quite packed around 1pm with limited parking in the back. As i was getting ready to pay with my credit card, the lady mentioned theres a 4% service fee which surprised me so i paid with cash instead. I personally don't see myself coming back here as i feel i can get better food elsewhere for similar price. Also the tables and floor were dirty, i usually dont notice but they did a bad job of cleaning up prior to being seated.
google avatar

Steven Z.

Yelp
I got thin egg noodles with seafood mix soup. It was pretty good since I usually get it dry with thick egg noodles. The service was what I expected which is simple and no complaints. Overall, yeah I will be coming back here regularly.

Yelp
Came here yesterday for an early dinner. They're pretty strict with the parking. We're only allowed to park on the right side of the building because the left side is reserved for the hotpot location. You can't go wrong with their number 1 with thick egg noodle dry style. Originally wanted to stop my Mien Ngia, but they were closed. The server was fast and straight to the point. Asked us what we wanted and put in our order right away. For a Cantonese restaurant, this straightforward order style is typical, rather than a super happy smiling host, so I'm not going to dock stars because of that. Ordering the dry style, a bowl of soup is brought out as well, so you can turn it into a noodle soup if wanted. From my plate, you can see I throw in everything from sate to hoisin and the sriracha. Probably killed this in 5 mins. Definitely a good spot for this Chiu Chow style noodle.
google avatar

Stacy L.

Yelp
Kim Kee is known for the most satisfying comfort food, and my go-to choice is their seafood noodle soup. Although the menu offers various noodle options to suit your preference, I was disappointed to discover the absence of their Authentic Sriracha sauce, which has been replaced by the Chili Boy Sriracha. The service at Kim Kee is exceptional, with the workers being impressively fast, ensuring that the food arrives promptly after placing your order. Please note: it is cash only
google avatar

Roberta L.

Yelp
Day (and night if they were actually open at night, but they are not), packed with people all the time. Food is good and cheap it's a hidden gem that yelp doesn't know about.
google avatar

Jenny V.

Yelp
Limited parking in their parking lot. CASH ONLY. Yelp says accept credit card but they did not. Came on a Wednesday lunch time. Pretty busy. Was disappointed that they were only serving noodles dishes selection only. Got the beef stew, fried rice cake with egg and assorted beef dried noodles. The assorted beef dried noodles was good. Rice cake was good. Beef stew have a more tomato based flavor. Service was okay, had to flagged them down couple of times. They forgot our drink and we had a translation issues. The interior design was simple and clean.
google avatar

Athena L.

Yelp
Solid 4.5 star! It's usually quite crowded but they move fast without rushing customers. I personally prefer the sate beef noodle soup here over Kim Ky. Generous size ( I always leave with leftover), and has more flavor. The bot chien is also good and comes in big portion. It's a nice restaurant for family and comfort food.
google avatar

Jonh J.

Yelp
Another great gem in San Gabriel Valley. These places are rare and if you find a good one, like this one, you will never go elsewhere. Place is a little small but, food flavor is big. Servers are friendly and professional. Lots of parking behind building. My go to is the beef stew. It is very very delicious with the veggies.
google avatar

Yelp
Genuinely the worst location. The staff here completely ignored me for five minutes at the counter after helping the person in front of me. I asked if they spoke Vietnamese for me to order and they said no. Ten minutes later I see them speaking in Vietnamese to another customer. Then after waiting for my to go order, I showed my receipt. They looked at the bag on the counter and said not yet. After waiting fifteen more minutes, I check the order of the bag on the counter and it's been ready this entire time. I literally did not do anything else besides this to even warrant this level of ridiculousness and rudeness other than me not speaking canto. It was moderately busy, but not packed. I genuinely cannot understand how anything justified this experience at all. The food is the same as any other location but the service differs so much. Might as well go to any other location.
google avatar

Yelp
Wonton noodle soup 5/5 - I love the wonton noodle soup. It's authentic and broth is so flavorful without feeling too oily and saucey. There is a good amount of wontons too. I usually get their other noodles but gave this a try and it was good. We came around noon on a Saturday and it was busy. Not much available parking spots either.

Yelp
Chinese Chew Chao Noodle place Good Large Portions serve of traditional Fish Balls / Fish filet Noodle in Soup ! 5 stars The TurnipRice cake is ok not enough favor of Turnip ! 3 stars Loud like any busy Chinese restaurant! Service is traditional Chinese, call for servers' attention 3 stars Will be back for food

Yelp
Food is so good it was my first time coming here today, I'm definitely going back soon

Yelp
I love to eat Assorted Meat & Shrimps with Egg Noodles every 2 weeks on Friday. I would recommend this restaurant to all my friends to try...
google avatar

Fnu S.

Yelp
I love coming here. The noodle is very flavorful, the Taro panfried so yummy too. I can't wait for a week so i come back the following next day (Saturday and Monday).
google avatar

Yelp
First time visit during lunch rush and very happy with overall experience. Very fresh and delicious. My favorite food are soups and the broth I ate every last drop. I will be back and I will order to go when I can.
google avatar

Yelp
Spacious restaurant serving up Chiu Chow style noodles. Came here in a rainy day around 2:30 pm for some soup noodles and it totally hit the spot. Although the broth could have used a bit more salt, everything else in my bowl was tasty. Wanted to order some fried rice and fried noodles for takeaway but the waitress said they no longer serve anything that's fried. I was told it's too late. So FYI if you're wanting anything fried you, can only get it earlier in the day. Cash only.
google avatar

Christy Q.

Yelp
Sad to be writing this update, because I can eat here and the other location every week and never get tired of it. However, after not having been at this location in over a year, and coming here to satisfy my craving, my visit left my craving unsatisfied. Service was very slow after they gave us our food. I had to wait a solid few minutes before waving someone over to ask for beansprouts. Sitting at the table, I realized none of the tables have satay and chilies, the condiments. So, I also had to wave them down for that as well. I am a huge sucker for their satay sauce, heck, I've even asked to buy it! (They sell it in mason jars). I wished it was already out on the table, but I understand why they might not have it out anymore. I just wished they'd ask ahead of time if we needed any of that. The broth seemed lighter than before, less flavorful and I had ordered my usual #1, buttt this was the first time it didn't have a piece of kidney in there. I order the #1 because I wanted that, and I'm not sure if they ran out, just don't put it in there anymore. I was going to give them the benefit of the doubt that maybe they forgot but the other folks in my party ordered the same number and didn't get it either. I definitely should have asked, but I will find out next time.

Yelp
I remember the old Kim Kee. It was a very small mom and pup store with always packful cutomers. Now, it's been totally rebuilt and has become a completely different look. I was worried about the quality of the food if they still had the noodles that I loved or not, and they did. I was so happy to see that the place was even busier place than ever. We were there around 10 am on Sat, and we were 3rd place in the waiting list to get in. By the time we were done 11am, there was no waiting, and even there were a few rables opened. I think a lot of customers come here for breakfast at this place. Food: 10 stars! Get a side of donut! Dipping that in the noodle soup is really awesome. Service: It was fast and good. Just don't expect a smile and friendly service from waiters when you go to a Chinese restaurant. Parking: They expanded the parking a lot. They did have 30+ parking spaces, and you can always use street parking around it.

Yelp
No frill Cantonese/Trieu Chau food! Very cheap compared to other Hong Kong Cafe shops and very large portions as well! Came here with my parents and we ordered the seaweed combo soup - it was a staple when we were in Hong Kong! Flavor was amazing and plenty of toppings along with noodles. We also got their satay stir fried noodle. Spicier than we were expecting but great flavors as well. Was able to pay in credit card as well

Yelp
This is a place for the locals. Delicious noodles. Ridiculous amounts of MSG. Weird meats. Weirder people. I will come back always.

Yelp
Kim Kee Noodle House is one of the newest locations (as of this writing) from the Kim Kee Noodle House franchise. They have locations in Monterey Park, South El Monte, and now, Rosemead! This place is known for its noods as there are 6 different kinds: **Round Egg Noods **Thin Egg Noods **Thick Egg Noods **Rice Vermicelli **Rice Noods **Pho Noods Some popular dishes include the satay beef noodle (my favorite), house noodle soup, and seafood noodle. They are also known for their house chili sauce. Out of the three locations, I do have to say I prefer this location at 8766 Valley Boulevard in Rosemead, California. It's clean and more aesthetic, and the food is not bad. Prices are very reasonable and the portion size is pretty good. Overall, I do recommend it as Kim Kee Noodle has been a staple of the SGV for years.
google avatar

Yelp
Good noodle, a very clean restaurant in this area, friendly staffing. However language is barrier here.

Yelp
i can always appreciate a great bowl of noodles but to also experience something with chao-zhou (or teochew) style-based noodles is an extra bonus as it's one my family's home city's styles! eating here definitely brought back a lot of childhood nostalgia. if you're in the area and want to try something affordable and delicious then look no further - my most favorite ones has got to be #1 - with rice noodles, #10 - with rice noodles, #12 - with rice noodles, #35b if you couldn't tell already, usually at these style restaurants i always get the rice noodles and highly recommend it due to the taste with the broth but also just the taste on it's own in comparison to egg noodles. the service and ambiance are super casual but it's definitely perfect for a quick lunch/catch-up with friends!
google avatar

Annie L.

Yelp
My mom's friend took us out to eat here. It's busy for a Monday afternoon lunchtime. I tried their beef stew rice noodles, and it was a big bowl. There were lots of rice noodles, but not a lot of meat. It's probably about 5 pieces. For that big of a size of rice noodles, they can do better. I tried in other places that serve more meat. The soup was flavorful, rich, and thick. As for the veggies that come on the side with the beef stew, it was not a lot. Only 2 branches of the mints and enough bean sprouts for 1 bowl of rice noodle (even though there were 2 of us that ordered the beef stew. It was a little disappointing...
google avatar

Amanda K.

Yelp
I love coming here with my mom! This is our go-to lunch spot when we're in the area. Remember that it's cash only!! Chiu chow noodle soup is my comfort food and I'm so glad they opened another location. I like the number one with the flat rice noodles, but I believe they stopped adding pork kidney (also saw another review that said the same thing). There's not a lot of parking in the lot so you'll usually have to find street parking. Only thing is they have limited hours but other than that, great spot overall.
google avatar

Kat T.

Yelp
Been sick and the only thing ive been craving is noodle soup, second day in a row getting kim kee for lunch. Between my parents and I, we get kim kee about once a week from one of their locations. The Rosemead location is my davorite. Some of the reviews complain about the soup noodle being bland (?) but it tastes the same as I remember as a kid. Knowing how to customize your own toppings and sauces is an artform i guess
google avatar

Tony T.

Yelp
I usually come here with friends after a night of too much drinking and it's the perfect spot to cure a hangover with its many soup options. I usually get the seafood with egg noodles; mixing in their chili sauce is a must. Paying with credit card costs about an extra 4.3% which is slightly annoying.
google avatar

Jessica W.

Yelp
One of my go to place, so glad they open a new location. This place is nicer than the SG location. I usually get their noodles with soup or noodle with soup on the side if I get egg noodle. Another of my favorite there is the rice cake with egg. They are all simple dishes just delicious. ask for their chili sauce and jalapeños. The chili sauce is really good.

Bobby N.

Yelp
Dearest gentle readers, Real ones know that there's no better place in SGV that do these noodles like they do. All their locations, especially this one and their Monterey park one, are staples to the community and we're happy to stop by any of them to get our fix. It may be a simple noodles and soup joint but they're far from plain. Their simplicity is honed and their satay is a must. Service is Cantonese

Poyd C.

Yelp
My first time here. Noodles are very very good. Soup is very tasty, sweet. I will add it as my favorite one.
google avatar

Malynn T.

Yelp
Came here a few times now and everything I tried was pretty solid. Being Teo Chow, these dishes bring me a lot of comfort and bring me back to my childhood. I have gotten the #1 dry and with soup. Both are good options. The beef stew with thick rice noodle would be a good choice if you want something a bit more hardy. Get both with the yu char kway/ you tiao of course. The loc lac with red rice does not taste like the traditional but it was packed with flavor. It can be on the pricey side especially since they don't give as much meat. If you choose a noodle dish, their thick egg noodles are pretty good as well. Someone mentioned that they don't accept cards but they did when I went. If you do use card, know that they will charge you their credit card processing fee.
