Visited the Traces ceramics exhibit 4/29, and found the work very memorable. I appreciated the selective approach to presenting the pieces, which gives space and time to "go deep" with each artist. Kimball staff were very knowledgeable and welcoming. The art education programs and working studios bring a unique energy to the galleries. I look forward to my next visit!

We stopped by the "Traces" exhibit after dinner and had a wonderful time. The entire staff was super friendly. We loved the kids exhibit and my favorite was the "hot digity dog" clay hot dog & wiener dog creation. We are glad we stopped to see all of the talented student works of art!

Kimball Art Center curates amazing exhibits along with educational talks with artists. Their kids (and adults) programs include ceramics and many other mediums. Lots of opportunities to learn about art, it's ability to spark joy in the world.

Bev was really nice and helped give us a mini tour. The museum is donation based. They also have classes which was interesting! I thought the art was super intriguing and liked that it was alive (literally) Also, the soil stories are really entertaining

Visiting was an unforgettable experience that left me in awe of human creativity and expression. From the moment I stepped into the grand entrance, I was greeted by an atmosphere of sophistication and curiosity. The museum's curation is impeccable, offering a diverse collection that spans different eras and art movements. Each area felt like a portal to a different world, showcasing masterpieces that are both visually stunning and thought-provoking. What sets this museum apart is the way it seamlessly blends traditional and contemporary art. Paintings, sculptures, and installations coexist harmoniously, providing a fresh perspective on the evolution of artistic expression over time.

The "Wonderland" and "Eat Me, Drink Me" exhibits are very eye catching and thought provoking displays. I would highly recommend visiting, even if it is only for a half hour. The exhibits are small, but the center definitely focused on the quality. We really appreciated the staff as they were very friendly and gave us some insight into the creators' lives and vision.

Honestly, it was a big disappointment. One star for the one piece of art I liked and one for the children space for my toddler and the kindness and helpfulness of the woman working there. If you're interested in art, go to all the free exhibits on Main Street in Park City.

I adore this art center. My hubby and I go on Sunday’s, are there are usually not a ton of people. It is so cool to see the exhibit(s) and there are some interactive parts as well! I can’t wait to see the new ones coming up!

Yelp
A great place in the heart of Park city trying to connect the arts art making with the community.

Yelp
Love this place. Free admission, but donations accepted, and when I went, they had an exhibition on Chicano Art. I absolutely loved it! The employees give you a brief background before you venture off in your own. No photography is permitted in the galleries as some pieces are on loan from other institutes. In front of the front desk, there is also a student gallery where art pieces are being sold to benefit MICA. +free admission +Chicano Art exhibition

Yelp
New building, next complex and away from the downtown Main St. area, which probably is correspondingly driving foot traffic down somewhat. It seems a building somewhat bigger, though there are several offshoot buildings of what I assume are studios. Lots of outside art also and reasonably ample parking, both of which are positives. It's much easier to get to, as well. I think these guys are a lot more refocused on education and studios, which is very worthy and necessary as well. I still back it as much as ever. This is one of my favorite things about Park City in general and a pretty excellent place to get art supplies as well.

Yelp
2 level floor space hosting the Adobe/HP Photography Studio. HP and Adobe have partnered together to provide hands-on experiences with digital imaging tools that will bring pictures to life. Using the dv2000 and dv6000 Entertainment notebooks, as well as the nw9440 Mobile Workstation all loaded with cutting-edge Adobe software, we stopped by and learn tips on how to creatively edit, quickly organize and easily share pictures. On the upper floor, there were two lounge areas for Sundance goers to relax and chillout with appetizers and drinks.

Yelp
Nothing but love for the Kimball Art Center from me. Main gallery as well as the Garage gallery and space on the lower level for exhibits. I have seen some wonderful things in this space from local and non-local artists in many different mediums (painting, multi-medium murals, ceramics, photography, and more). They also have their own ceramics studio and offer classes for all ages. It is absolutely amazing to have such a great advocator of the arts right here in Park City.
