Bonchon and Noori to Open Korean Fried Chicken Restaurants in Detroit | Eater Detroit

"This outpost opened in July 2021 in Plymouth Township as part of a recent Michigan expansion of a Korean fried-chicken concept; it emphasizes the characteristic thin, potato-starch crust and double-frying for extra crunch, with sauced wings and drumettes and palate-cleansing pickled daikon." - Monica Williams

The food is fresh and delicious, delivered to the table within minutes of ordering. Staff is super kind and describes each item in detail if you are unsure. The vibes and atmosphere were quiet and open. Definitely recommend this location and all of them in general if you want great Korean chicken.

Annyeonghaseyo, We were just traveling through and I happened to see it so I went in. I got the spicy pork box and kimchi. The food was excellent and the service was too. The lady at the counter was wonderful. We talked about BTS🫰. Gamsahamnida

Got the chicken sandwich with fries and steamed pork buns (dumplings) very good especially for the price, $21 out the door. They they had a special, Korean Army stew with fried rice and crispy chicken, very tempting. I see other reviews about a rude cashier but I didnt get her. Definitely will be back

Very tasty! Would highly recommend the sassy fries, Korean Fried Chicken Sandwich, and the popcorn chicken box. It seemed like more options available in store than listed on the menu. Will definitely come back! Be prepared to wait maybe 10min, it’s very fresh!

This place is great! I love coming here. The soy garlic wings are amazing and the place is a vibe. :)

Visited here for the first time and food was tasty! Especially the “sassy fries” Portion sizes were good and there’s a large variety of menu items to choose. Service was average, neither great nor poor. Value was ok as well. Only thing that could be improved is the drink selection- there’s no soda fountain, only a few cans. Though they have some specialty “creams” that I didn’t try. Will be back!

Really good experience overall. Simple menu of mostly tacos and chicken. Opted for the thighs which were good but not spectacular. The breading and flavor was decent but the chicken itself was a bit stringy. Kimchi fries and pork taco were good additions. Clean and large space. You serve yourself by ordering up front and getting your own water and utensils which makes for a straightforward customizable experience.

I was disappointed in this restaurant. I just moved to Michigan from Atlanta and I really wanted kimbap and bibimbap. I am gluten free and asked if the bibimbap and kimbap were GF. The vegetable kimbap is NOT gluten free because it has fish cake in it. I did not like the bibimbap. It had noodles, a lot of vegetables, and lettuce. I like a nice even ratio of rice to vegetables. The bibimbap is heavy on the veggies. I also remembered (after I added some) that gochujang contains wheat. They have their sauces sitting out for you to grab, which is nice. They also do the drinks Korean style. You get a metal cup and then they have pitchers of cold water sitting out at the utensil station. I do like how you can get your own take out box instead of getting back in line. The drinks are rather pricey. $2.50 for a can of Pepsi/Mtn. Dew. I will probably look elsewhere for Korean cuisine. Man, I miss Atlanta.
