Kimi's Chop & Oyster House

Absolutely phenomenal dining experience at Kimi’s Chop & Oyster House! From the moment we were seated, the service was outstanding — warm, attentive, and professional. Chef Matt’s culinary presentation was not only visually stunning but incredibly flavorful. Every dish looked like a piece of art and tasted just as impressive — from the fresh oysters to the beautifully plated desserts. The owner’s presence and hospitality made the experience even more special. It’s rare to find a place where both the food and atmosphere hit perfection, but Kimi’s delivers on all fronts. Can’t wait to return!

When we arrived, we were greeted right away and seated immediately. I recommend making a reservation, as it does get busy. The waiter and staff were attentive, always making sure our drinks stayed full. We had the blue crab cakes and shrimp ceviche—both were excellent. The pork chop was good, though I’m not sure the price is fully justified. I highly recommend trying the gelato

My favorite place to go and we've oinly been here once! The place has a welcoming seating area if youbhave to wait. The spiral stair infront is an amazing view with the hanging chandelier it's so beautiful. The place is so elegant yet so casual. I loved the decor. The food was really good and the cocktails were so different. My favorite was the espresso Martini. A couple things tho, our waiter was not very welcoming, it was our first time and. Also the cheesecake for dessert was a definitely not good, we totally could've done without it. But we'll be back for sure.

Absolutely fantastic! From the minute you walk in and out. Great gluten free menu. Starter we shared the wedge salad (it is big) and the clam chowder. For the entree we had the Seabass and the braised pork. Dessert was the chocolate torte. AMAZING! Jeremy was our waiter and was exceptional.

Great meal and fantastic service. We started with some oysters and appetizers. The oysters were fresh and sweet. We would definitely order the beets again, the egg roll was good but definitely not our favorite and probably won’t order next time. The mushroom soup was fantastic. For mains we got the mushrooms, the scallop special, the pork chop, and the meatballs. All were great. Scallops were cooked well but not the best of the dishes we got. The pork chop was fantastic and the mushrooms were nice and light with great variety of textures and veggies. For dessert we had the lingonberry parfait and the caramel cheesecake. Normally, we are disappointed by restaurant desserts but these were really good. Lastly - a shout out and happy birthday to our server, Stormie! Attentive, kind, good suggestions, and professional.

From the minute you make a reservation, you are greeted with respect and compassion. The owner really cares about the business and it shows. We celebrated a birthday here tonight. The atmosphere is amazing, the food is healthy and so delicious. The ingredients are high quality, you can taste it in every bite. The cocktails are amazing. The service and people are amazing. I will definitely be coming back and recommend it to a friend. Honestly, I would give it above five stars if it was an option.

I reserved a private dining room at Kimi's for a family birthday celebration for 25 people. Kimi was great to work with and took all the stress out of organizing a group event. The venue is beautiful. Our server, Jeremy, was amazing, starting with providing whatever we needed to decorate, and accommodating last minute changes in the seating arrangements. Jeremy anticipated every guest's needs throughout the evening, including bringing kid friendly food for the small children who attended (without being asked and without us pre-ordering), cocktails, wine service, etc. He even provided boxes for the guest of honor to transport her gifts at the end. Each and every guest thanked me multiple times for inviting them and said the food, service and venue were all amazing. It was a perfect evening.

When our birthday reservation was delayed due to wedding party, the owner tried their best accommodate the needs of both reservations and communicate. I appreciated the efforts and the staff was all friendly and helpful. Andjelija was highlighted by several of my guests for their service for their integrity when it came to the fact that the gratuity was already included on the tab because of the size of our group when a couple of us wanted to add a little more due to how they had handled our reservation. They were efficient, engaging, helpful, and understanding. We enjoyed several cocktails and mocktails. The blackberry drinks were a hit as were the mojitos. The huckleberry Italian soda was yummy! Our favorite appetizers were the crab cakes and the brown sugar beans. My guests also enjoyed the egg roles and the caviar onion dip, which was my favorite appetizer. We were impressed by the beets. The clam chowder was fantastic, and the steaks were enjoyed by everyone. My friend mentioned that their salad was really quite good. The pork chop was a bit under seasoned, but the sauce was really good and it was a beautiful dish. The key lime dessert was light, and I loved it. The kiss me cake is decadent. They served it to the birthday boy with a sprinkler on it. This place has a stunning design. The ambience is quite lovely. Overall, I would recommend this place, especially for their staff. It is clear that their owner takes great pride and care in this business. And their staff take great pride and care in their roles.
