Had so much fun with karaoke and the food was awesome as well! The karaoke DJ was really supportive and kind, and the crowd all sang along. So much unity and many memories made tonight! Thank you for the birthday gift of making me feel like a star 🌟

We had a wonderful dinner at Kimonos with a group of seven — five adults and two kids under 7. Our waitress, Kim, was incredibly kind and attentive, making sure everyone felt welcome and comfortable. The restaurant is very family-friendly, and we had no issues dining with young children. If you're looking to enjoy American-style sushi in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, Kimonos is a great choice. Highly recommended!

Google
We walked in and sat at the bar. Had some good house sake and the food was really good for being at a resort restaurant. It was a very welcomed departure from all the fried and heavy foods found at most places around Disney. We'll definitely come back!

It is not cheap here, but the food and drinks were great and the atmosphere was cool. We got a lychee martini, and a Lucky Cat (vodka, spiced pear liqueur, and dry vermouth), and both were crisp and delicious. We also ordered avocado and cucumber rolls, and veggie summer rolls, also delicious. We had an enjoyable experience.

We went there 2024 summer, perfect location if you wait for Fireworks in Epcot. Food and drinks all pretty good, udon noodle, sushi plate, and miso soups.

Google
All around great place for sushi. Relaxing environment. Creative rolls and excellent fish

Came back in the summer of 2024 and hit this place up again. Absolute hidden gem most people aren't aware about their food is excellent and if you enjoy karaoke this is a great place to just hang out and people watch. I sat at the bar and the food was excellent. I would highly recommend the wagyu beef satay for an appetizer too.

I've passed this place a few times, and it's always pretty busy.     Walking in the place seems pretty modern, yet elegant.  I was helped right away, and service was fast. I had placed my order at the bar for take-out.  I ordered: 1.  Wagyu beef skewer - Perfectly grilled, so tender,  and juicy. 2.  Grilled kalbi beef short rib - super tender that you can easily rip the bone off. 3.  Tempura roll - Something so simple but perfectly made. 4.  Alaskan roll - so fresh and refreshing with the virus citrus on top 5.  Karaage chicken - not the usual karaage chicken we're used to.   This was like an orange chicken.   This was very tasty and crunchy, just not what I was expecting. 6.  Side order of rice - rice perfectly cooked and goes well with all the starters ordered. Overall,  everything we had here was amazing.   We would definitely come back here again.  Maybe even check out the karaoke.

Yelp
Came for the food, stayed for the service. The food was truly good but Dave, the bartender, made the dinner an experience. 5 stars all around!

Yelp
All five of these stars are for the bartender David J who served us when we were here for my wife's birthday last month. We were staying at the Swan in preparation for my wife's Skyliner birthday bar crawl the next day. After having a big dinner, we stopped in to Kimonos to have some after-dinner drinks. We also thought we would see some karaoke, but (fortunately?) it didn't start until 9:30pm. We ordered a couple drinks off the menu from David, the bartender. I got the Chai Espresso Martini, which was good. David gave my wife with a mochi birthday surprise. We were having a great time, so we wanted to stay for another drink, but didn't feel particularly inspired by anything on the cocktail menu. Sensing our hesitation, David asked us both about what kind of drinks we like and made us custom cocktails, which were still very much in theme to the restaurant. Seriously, I think this guy should be in charge of the cocktail menu because his creations were way more interesting than what was there. For me, he made a Roku gin-based drink with negori sake, sakura powder, yuzu bitters, and soda water. If that had been on the menu, I would have ordered it in a heartbeat. For my wife, he made a bourbon-based "umami bomb" which she loved. If I see David behind the bar again, I will surely stop in.

Yelp
A bit pricey but not bad considering it's a hotel restaurant. Overall service was great and we were seated quickly. I recommend for bigger parties to try and arrive early. The shrimp tempura is by far the best app on the menu. I could probably eat like 5 plates of it. Worth it!

Vikki B.

Yelp
Limited menu but very good! Reasonably priced and the service is just as you expect a Disney property. Our server recommended great saki. The jalapeño roll was our fave. It's lively and they accommodated us having two toddlers in tow. They have karaoke but we didn't stay for it. Starts at 9:30 pm.

Melanie Y.

Yelp
My friend recommended this place to me for dinner together bc it was her go-to place. I got my usual unagi roll and miso soup and both were tasty. What I really liked was the lychee martini bc not many restaurants carry it for some reason. Already a plus in my book. The restaurant was also located in the swan hotel which was connected to the dolphin hotel. Both was massive and took a bit to find it. I would come back for sure.

Genie L.

Yelp
Pretty good food, chill atmosphere, nice staff. We ate here twice, during our week stay. The udon was simple, but good, so we came back for more. The sushi was all fresh and tasty. The tempura, cucumber seaweed salad, and chicken satay were all good too. Staff was very friendly and welcoming!

Brian T.

Yelp
Overpriced for the quality. Sushi was clearly premade and just put on a plate. Very subpar sushi! Our kids food came about fifteen minutes before the Sushi arrived and when we asked for more wasabi it never came.

John R.

Yelp
Amazing, the food and service is top notch! The food is really authentic and the staff is amazing.! I highly recommend this restaurant if your in the area

Kevin L.

Yelp
This was a giant disappointment. The seared tuna tasted so terrible that it tasted almost fake. Tuna was very rubbery. The kalbi ribs was bland. We are still here and we just cancelled the rest of our order because we have little faith that this restaurant will deliver on everything else. So bad that Im craving a burger. The staff was apologetic and very sweet. The ambiance was what you would expect for a disney reataurant. But all of that means nothing if the food is this bad. I would have been better off with an all you can eat place. That is how bad that first two courses were. Manager came out to speak with us and she was nice. The staff has that disney feel in service standards. The chefs just really need to bring it because this was bad. Im only giving them an extra star because the staff was great. But the food deserves a 1 star. Quality was questionable. Taste profiles were non existant. The sauce for the seared tuna even was bland. How?

Yelp
KIMONOS: Let's just start with the name -- it's odd. They've got a cute decor to match the name, inside the restaurant, but I think you catch my drift about the folks who might actually operate this restaurant, given the menu has Kimchi Salad and metal chopsticks. #iykyk Onto the food -- we ordered the Kimonos Roll which tasted fresh and was topped with avocado slices. Inside was tuna and halibut and no additional "fillers" which was appreciated. Steep price at $20 for a roll, but we're at a WDW resort, after all. The smoked salmon sashimi ($14), tuna sushi ($10), and salmon sushi ($9) all hit the spot but were standard fare in most sushi restaurants; nothing spectacular. A good late-night (1am) option when there's a Hurricane in town, but I wouldn't return here again unless I absolutely had to. Also, be ready for surprise karaoke (this was a nice twist). Staff were all attentive, welcoming and friendly, so no complaints there.

Heather T.

Yelp
Midocre sushi but not bad- just so overpriced i had to do 4 stars. Great ambiance service and location but the quality doesn't match the price by far.

Brian B.

Yelp
Cute little spot, with a nice bar setup. Sushi is expensive, and average quality at best. My takeout bill was $65 for 2 cucumber avocado rolls, 2 spicy tuna rolls and a beer while I waited at the bar.

Emma B.

Yelp
Had the best time at Kimonos for dinner! Our servers name was Kim and she was wonderful! So attentive and charming! Disney is so great with catering to individuals with allergies. Kimonos was careful and caring when it came to serving one of my friends who had a fish allergy. Much appreciated. I ordered: - Seaweed salad = yum - Tuna roll = 6 rolls, yummy! - Shrimp tempura roll = 8 rolls, also very yummy I had a few glasses of moscato which were good and the sake sangria! The inside of the restaurant is beautiful! Very nice and elegant!

Haley F.

Yelp
Might be the best sushi on all of Disney property, and the best value! We just got a couple of rolls and the crispy rice appetizer and were really satisfied! It's just a basic place, nothing too fancy or too distinguishing, but if you just like basic sushi while you're on property, this is your place!

Jackie A.

Yelp
We had a great time at Kimonos. We did a late dinner so got hear some of Karaoke which was so Fun. The service was fast and friendly. We got edamame, seaweed salad, dragon roll, veggie spring roll, jalapeño rolls, and a kani roll. The only thing we didn't like was veggie roll. But that's only because we didn't really understand what we were getting. The seaweed salad was delicious! We would recommend this place to anyone looking for sushi in Disney.

Taylor D.

Yelp
Super fun sushi place! We just had to get some sushi while visiting Orlando and we were very happy with our experience at Kimonos! While we don't sing, we enjoyed listening to others do karaoke. We had yellowtail and salmon nigiri, the banzai roll, and kimonos roll. Every piece of sushi was fresh and full of flavor. The banzai roll was our favorite combining crunchy, sweet, and spicy, a must try.

Chanelle D.

Yelp
The food is so bad, I liked the lychee martini tho, the fruit tasted old tho... The service was good, but I think the fish is old

Stacy M.

Yelp
Great atmosphere. Service was top notch. Nigiri was fantastic. Enjoyed the entire experience.

Kin N.

Yelp
This is the weakest restaurant of all the ones we tried while staying at Swan Reserve. If you have transportation, no need to abuse yourself with expensive and tasteless food. It does not represent Disney well. I have better sushi rolls from Whole Foods or even Krogers. The kalbi ribs were under cooked with the meat still attached to the bones; when you bite into it, liquid just oozed out. We couldn't eat it. The place is noisy, slow service, and tables are too close to each other and ours were sticky, yikes .... Good luck.

Yue W.

Yelp
Really bad restaurant highly disappointed, they never make your food unlit you don't want eat anything and the servants looks like they are the customer and always do the slow service (average 20+mins to do one thing the customer let them do) we stay there for 45 min only get two appetizers and the servants told us need to do the things one by one don't rush take a rest what the hell it is the restaurant not even worth one star . Don't go this horrible place.

Nannan J.

Yelp
The food was good but the chicken was a little too spicy and salty but the price was ok .The staff were helpful and we got seated right away. My only concern was that we waited a little longer than expected. I would recommend this place if you want to have a sushi dinner at dolphin or swan resort .

Jolynne L.

Yelp
Food was very good. Service was quick and friendly. I had the crab and avocado salad; plenty of real crab surrounded by thin slices of avocado. Barbecue short rib was tender and flavorful. Lychee martini heavenly. Surrounded by hanging kimonos--it was a great start to my vacation

Dianna N.

Yelp
This is truly a hidden Disney gem! I had no luck in the park restaurants so I figured what the heck try something at the hotel . I was staying at the Swan. The service was stellar . Such a lovely bunch of women they all come over and say hello and chat. I would return just for them ! My lychee martini was a delight and both sushi rolls were wonderful. The atmosphere was really nice with all kimonos hanging from the ceiling and walls I believe that they do karaoke as well but I guess because of Covid it was closed off.

Tori B.

Yelp
i have been coming here since i was little i was finally of age and was able to stay in orlando with my friends alone. decided to relive a childhood memory and was majorly dissapointed. i practiced with a hairbrush for the karaoke for there to be a 11pm curfew if under 21 (they didn't ask for my age or ID and assumed and took my name off the karaoke list allowing me only 1 song). when i used to come there used to be a lot more people and a much bigger crowd for a spring break crowd it was weak sad and pathetic. i had planned on staying until 2 am like the website says singing my heart out with my friends and the other drunk 20 something year olds and older people. really dissatisfied. only getting 2 stars because the food was decent but small portions.

Anna O.

Yelp
My party ended up walking in without a reservation which was great since we did not want to leave the hotel while there was a storm. Our server was very friendly. They have an excellent drink menu, the sangria was very tasty! All of the appetizers and sushi we ordered was very tasty. The issue I had was with the menu. Unfortunately there was no descriptions of what was included in the rolls, and there was a lot of added ingredients that you usually would not expect. I suggest asking your waiter/waitress to tell you what is in each roll if you're not someone who usually experiments with sushi. Overall, this is a good option if you're looking to stay within your hotel for dinner but not something I would go out of my way for.

Andi C.

Yelp
Loved my visit to Kimonos. We had a change of plans and were staying in the hotel and decided to eat here. I'm glad we did. Sushi was terrific and the best egg drop soup I've ever had. They didn't have the volcano roll on the menu but they made it for me. Hot tea service was nice. It was my sisters birthday and they surprised us with a small mochi dessert. I will be back!!

Paul H.

Yelp
Reasonably priced sushi for Disney. High quality and karaoke and great service! All located inside the Swan. This restaurant is one of the top reasons I love staying at the Swan and Dolphin! Order anything! You can't go wrong! Karaoke starts at 9pm and kids sing until 11pm.

Danielle M.

Yelp
Came here for dinner on a Wednesday around 6:40pm and was seated right away. We ordered within the next 10 min. Then it took 30 minutes to get our first roll. It took another 30 minutes to get our remaining 3 rolls. Our waitress disappeared for about 30 minutes and we had to flag her down to ask when our food would be ready to which she said they are behind schedule. Shortly after that, our waitress changed, not sure why. As for the food, we ordered the Alaska roll, Spider roll, Spicy rainbow roll and the Kimonos roll. The sushi rice wasn't good, it was too hard. The rolls were ok, portions were smaller than normal.

Jon S.

Yelp
Went with my 5 y/o son and mother. Meagan made the experience one to remember. She will be burned in our memory as one of the highlights of this Disney trip. The service and personal attention she provided was more than I've ever seen all my dining experiences. I'd come back to Disney just to say hi.

Blanche L.

Yelp
Delicious sushi, but quite expensive, which is to be expected in the Epcot park. Menu doesn't have a huge variety, in comparison to most other sushi restaurants I go to, but the food is certainly tasty and very fresh. I recommend making a reservation, as it is usually very crowded. The decor is beautiful, and it feels almost like you're in Japan.

Somei T.

Yelp
The waitress are very nice and friendly. However, it is over priced for the quality of the sushi.

Miriam K.

Yelp
If I could give this restaurant no stars I would. While dining, an object resembling a human tooth appeared in my food. The manager was not able to identify the object and shared that they don't make the food in house and that they get it from a supplier. I asked for my full meal to be refunded, I was told no. I would definitely avoid this restaurant.

Safia S.

Yelp
This is a great option if you are wanting Japanese cuisine at the Dolphin or Swan Disney resorts. We were sat quickly for dinner on a Wednesday evening. We ordered the kimono roll which was my favorite! Very refreshing and tasty. The shrimp tempura roll and spicy crab roll were ok. The cod Katsu and Kobe beef satay were also great.

Vijayalaxmi M.

Yelp
After being tired of eating fried chicken and fries or dry burgers throughout the park, this was such a welcome change. We ordered sashimi, kimonos roll, egg drop soup and upon noodles. Everything brought my tastebuds back to life. I guess more so coz I had been reduced to eating fried food or burgers. Also special mention of the service. Amazing hospitality. The hostess took time to talk to us, helped us a custom spicy sesame Wasabi soy sauce for the sashimi as she noticed my penchant for spicy sauce. I was dining with a super tired infant, toddler and spouse. They fell asleep on the table. While some might have considered it rude and usually ignored us, I could feel the understanding being extended towards us. The hostess went above and beyond to make us as comfortable ad possible. Thank you.

Christine M.

Yelp
Went here hoping to find a decent sushi place in Orlando. Totally disappointed. The fish was obviously not fresh but frozen. The seared tuna appetizer looked great, bit had absolutely no flavor. Sent it back for the chef to taste. They took it off the bill. The salmon and yellow tail nigiri also lacked any type of normal fish flavor ( we eat sushi on a regular basis so we know good fresh fish from whatever this was) and left us with a weird taste in our mouths and our stomachs upset. It is sad when the lychee hard candy (prepackaged and not from the restaurant)that they give you when the check comes is the highlight of the meal only because it neutralized any leftover flavor that was left in our mouths after eating here.

David B.

Yelp
Usually it's one of our slam dunk go to staying in the area. Stopped in on karaoke night. Service, attention, food quality are absolutely top notch - always. Sushi is very good quality and well made. The karaoke was almost comical. The girl (Bri) sang 2 songs, 1 drunk dude sang 1/2 of another before he gave up, and the sound was impossible to hear (and no, it wasn't crowded). So 3 songs and she took a break.....She (Bri) walked around singing a song before it all got started, futzed with the iPad probably controlling speakers and whatever, and it never changed. Useless really. So, come for the food and service - don't come for the karaoke.

Joanne T.

Yelp
This sushi spot was located in our hotel (Swan/Dolphin). The sushi was amazing! And the staff was very kind. They even have karaoke every night - which is really cool for the hotel guests and kids! The menu is definitely on the pricier side with the miso soup being over five bucks (usually under two dollars else where) and the California roll at 8 something (typically a simple roll like that is 5 dollars or less). Never the less, the sushi was amazing. I had ordered a shrimp tempura roll and devoured it. Would come in if I stayed at the resort again - not sure if I would drive out of my way to stop in though.

Tammy K.

Yelp
Walked in, no reservations, sat immediately. Great service. We ordered starters, then the waitress brought more menus as we ate to continue dinner. Food was fresh and delicious. A HUGE standout fav was the GROUPER was ,by far, the table favorite. As someone who doesn't eat seafood it was very refreshing to have several veggie options. I LOVED the asparagus roll. The Miso soup was also hearty and delicious. Karaoke started when we were leaving. Great spot, will definitely go again when we revisit.

Mary Jane C.

Yelp
Came here with a friend after craving more asian food while I was in Orlando for a conference. I got an udon soup and my friend got a miso soup that helped warm us up for a chilly night. We got some sushi.. I believe it was the kimonos roll and he got the dragon roll (massive prawn inside!!). Also ordered some mackerel and salmon nigiri to finish off the meal. Overall, everything was delicious, the fish was fresh and the service was good.. the meal was a little pricey. Would still come back if I was in the area and craving some sushi.

Emma W.

Yelp
We had stayed at the swan earlier in the summer and I really wanted to try this restaurant but no time. On our return visit, we went to the restaurant once and then returned the next day. The service was excellent. I got a beer I did not care for. The server, Michelle, not only recommended a cocktail I might like but took the beer off my bill. I ended up with the lychee martini. It was delicious. We had the California roll and the Spider roll. Both were very good. We ordered them both days. I love egg drop soup so I ordered it the second day. It was probably the best egg drop soup I've had. The service here was wonderful. There were 3 people who were walking around checking on things constantly. It was no wait either day around 5:30/6:00. I would like to return for the karaoke.

Kimberly H.

Yelp
Small but beautiful place inside of Swan hotel. There was a handful of people including myself waiting for this gem to open and it did not disappoint. Friendly and attentive staff. I had the coconut shrimp roll and it was so good. They do not have a full kitchen and they do have a small menu but honestly everything looked good. I made a special trip from the parks to this place and it didn't disappoint.

Colin W.

Yelp
Hands down the best sushi I have ever had in my life. The menu is incredible and they have something that everyone will like. Get there early as we did and by 6:15 the place was packed!!!!!

Jenna M.

Yelp
I really enjoyed dining at Kimonos, one of the signature restaurants on the swan resort campus. This swanky and intimate restaurant offers a large selection of unique sushi rolls and appetizers that kept us full and satisfied. Highly recommend the dragon rolls and shrimp tempura along with the squid and cucumber salad. And while the ambience feels elegant at times, there is also a well sized bar in which you can grab a drink and enjoy a football game or be entertained by the karaoke stars for the evening. Overall great experience and plan to come back here in the future.

Jason E.

Yelp
The waitress refused to si carry out orders for a hotel first when the restaurant was at 30% capacity with full service staff and offers kicking out. Pass!

Leslie a.

Yelp
Thank you for providing a safe and modern unique experience at Disney. Salad tasty and will finish the entire thing.

Leatherhead F.

Yelp
One of the best sushi places in The Orlando area. We normally got to Morimotto's and have now found a new home. Personalized service and a wonderful fresh sushi assortment. Can't wait to go back

Stephanie M.

Yelp
We really enjoyed dining here! The sushi was delicious! The appetizers were good and we enjoyed the seaweed salad. We will def go back! I would say the downfall was they didn't take any reservations, so there was a ton of unknown so we made sure to get there early. Once we saw the small size of the restaurant and the amount of tables we understood why.

Jaida P.

Yelp
Ordered to go after a long day at Epcot. We stayed at the Swan and it was very convenient to go downstairs and order. While we waited, we enjoyed some karaoke! Absolutely loved that they offer this as it was a fun and exciting experience, even if it was for 15-20 minutes. Staff was nice and helpful! I ordered a few California rolls and some Gyoza. It was was okay, I've had better, but also have had worse. It just didn't taste as fresh. Giving it a 4/5 as this was one of the few places located in the Swan and Dolphin that I liked.

Cindy M.

Yelp
[532] This restaurant is in the Walt Disney Swam Hotel. I saw mixed reviews so I was not sure what to expect but hubby wanted sashimi so this was the closest place. I'm so glad we did. It was great. I loved the way the restaurant was set up and the cool decorations. They have a nice size bar area with sports on the TV. We arrived 10pm on a Monday night and they had karaoke which was super cool. Meghan was very friendly and made friends with my 8 year old. It was great. He was hugging her throughout the evening. Dragon-roll was large and tasty. Hubby had tuna sashimi which he said was ok. The salmon sashimi was his favorite Key lime dessert was very tasty as well as the chocolate mousse. We will definitely be back.
