So. Good. Genuinely some of the best food I've had in a very, very long time. The meat was fresh, amazing quality, and everything paired beautifully with one another. We (mom and I) had been out all day, and thought Korean BBQ sounded good. Usually we go for something that is all you can eat, but thought we would give this one a shot. Grace was our server, and guys, she's wonderful. Such a delight, so sweet, she made the place feel very homey and it felt like I was with family with an Auntie that wanted to make sure I was stuffed. The experience was entirely phenomenal, and much of it was her- BUT the place from head to toe is a 10/10. We went at a good time, not busy (thankfully!!) If you can, try the beef bulgogi- and the chicken thighs were to die for. Everything melted in your mouth and was full of flavor. I will be going back, and I hope I get Grace again! Genuinely she made our day!

I finally tried Korean food here, and it was a flavorful ! But the real star was our waitress, Grace. With her ninja-like skills, she made our first experience unforgettable. The food was fantastic and beautifully presented. Can't wait to go back for more tasty Korean dishes and to see Grace in action again!

The food is freaking amazing! Grace helped us the whole way through and was great! She really made our experience the best. We will definitely be back!

I originally called the restaurant to place a to go order. The person on the phone, who turned out to be the owner, then asked if I would like to pay for it over the phone. This was odd, because when ordering to go food, I have always paid for it when I got to the restaurant to make sure the food was prepared to my liking. As is common practice. I said no I did not. Once I got there was when they started cooking my food even though there was no one in the restaurant. The owner then took my payment and started making my food when I got there. This must mean that she thought I would not pay for my food and waited until I got there to start making my food. I was late to my appointment. the food was not as described. Also, the owner said that she would give me a side of kimchi. Which she did not. Do not go to this restaurant. Horrible food horrible service. The atmosphere as possible. But definitely not for the prices. They are charging. There are several other restaurants in town that do a superior job on every level. I have submitted a picture to show you what spending $45 looks like at the restaurant. Seated on a bed of onions is five pieces of meat. Again this cost $45. I 100% do not recomemd.

Splendid service! Lovely attitude and welcoming atmosphere :) Grace treated me just like a daughter and I felt super happy! Great day, especially for my birthday !! Thank you Grace, definitely will be coming back soon!! ^^ Fed me and my boyfriend very well! The food is amazing!

Everything was 5 stars. Our waitress was excellent and very good and what she does. She honestly made the experience alot better. Food was excellent and i recommend their dessert as well.

Google
We had an absolutely amazing experience! They were passionate about their products and explained everything in depth. Although this isn't all-you-can-eat KBBQ that I'm used to it was more than enough. for a smaller price, you get the perfect amount of food, without worrying about an upcharge if you don't complete your meal. The quality and flavors of the meat were also mind-blowing. We were treated so well, almost like family, and will definitely dine here again. Overall, the friendliness, cleanliness, and quality of the meal were outstanding!

Google
Amazing experience. This was our first Korean BBQ and it was so good! Ask for Grace, she is so nice.

Yelp
Kim's is my absolute favorite restaurant. We come here probably about every six months and it NEVER disappoints. The food is incredible. We always get the fried dumplings and the combo 2. The combo 2 is a great price for how much comes with it.The service is even better. We went here this evening and had a full on conversation with our waitress throughout our meal. She was attentive and genuine. Not just a meal but an experience. I could not recommend this place more. The staff has been so friendly and attentive every time we've been here. Overall a great place to eat.

Melanie M.

Yelp
My husband and I love Korean BBQ and this is the best in the DFW area! The dumplings are so good that I could order them for a meal. The wait staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is clean and beautiful. I highly recommend!

Yelp
Probably my worst experience when eating out in Dallas. You walk in and the place already has a sign by the front desk that they're under staffed and asking customers to be patient with them - fine, no problem for me. But then my friend and I were basically forced to pick what we wanted to eat while standing by the door - the hostess/waitress/cook did not even sit us down! Just kept rudely pointing to items at the menu and directing us to the most expensive ones, even though we weren't interested in ordering them. When we thought that things were already bad and full of red flags, we order (after insisting that we needed more time but the lady kept coming back) and when asked for drinks, I tell her that I'd like some water and she tells us that they don't serve tap water, only bottled (so that they could charge us). Like, seriously?! At this point everything feels like they're trying to get rip us off in every way possible. The food arrives and this is not your usual KBBQ. They don't let you serve yourself or touch anything. The server insisted on putting food on my plate even though I said I could do it myself. They grab the food ON your plate, arrange it the way THEY think you should eat it and to make matters worse, she literally tried to spoon-feed me with salad even though I told her multiple times that I do NOT eat salad and wasn't going to eat it. Then after a while, our chicken is ready and I decide to serve myself (since the lady was gone for a while and that's how you're supposed to do when eating KBBQ anyway), which made her pissed. She put the chicken BACK on the grill and yelled that it was still raw (when it was clearly more than cooked already). She leaves for 10-15 seconds, rushes back to our table and then puts the chicken back on our plates... As if in those few seconds the chicken that was supposedly "raw" would've been now cooked. When paying, she said they didn't take my credit card (Amex - first time this happens to me in the US! Another major red flag), so my friend had to use his card and I Zelled him afterwards. The whole situation was so mind-boggling and incredibly rude I couldn't believe my eyes... I seriously thought someone would show up with a hidden camera at any moment and say it was all a prank. Unfortunately, it wasn't. It was all real and I'll never go back there. Overpriced, overwhelming and mediocre food.

Keith E.

Yelp
Too expensive. Food was good and different.... Enjoyed the Sake. Does not have a full bar. Gave us bottled water (that we didn't order) and charged us $4 a bottle. Does not take American Express. (Isn't this The Groves area?) Asked them to charge my Visa card $300 towards the bill and they added 20% to the charge! Tip was already in the bill. They supposedly refunded it... Waiting to check my statement. Then they had a problem about using multiple credit cards for the bill and argued with my friend. Just seemed disorganized, possibly culture/language barriers between both of our parties?

Aldo Q.

Yelp
Excellent service, more than great! We ordered too much food, although it wasn't a problem in the end, ha! The restaurant wasn't crowded at all, so we had a lot of servers around our table, paying attention to anything we needed.

Summer M.

Yelp
Food was good, your generic KBBQ so can't complain there, but my goodness was the service TERRIBLE. They made us try to choose what we were ordering at the front and tried to convince us to order the most expensive thing. From there on they nickel and dimed us. We had to pay for our waters, got charged for the extra rice and salad we requested, the waitresses were beyond rude and demanding. They cooked for us and even tried to feed us the food. The service was just bizarre and I would not recommend anyone go to this place. I definitely won't be returning

Kenny P.

Yelp
Really horrible customer service, I went there with my daughter expecting our friends to meet us there, but last minute plans were changed and we were to met else where. I literally just placed my order within 2 mins I told the waitress (older Asian lady) I need to cancel the order. Food was never presented or anything like that but she forced me to pay, her argument was that the meat was being cut already. I'm like ok? It's Korean bbq I'm sure you can save that meat since it hasn't been cooked. She still forced us to pay. I did not want to make a scene because I was with my daughter. I went ahead and disputed this charge and have video evidence speaking to this lady. I've worked as a bartender/waiter and if someone would have canceled an order in a timely matter we would understand. I can see with all the negative reviews that this place isn't doing so well. It serves them right

Adoraelle P.

Yelp
Worse Korean food. Service is even more worse. A very regrettable experience. The waitresses burnt our food and overcharged us on our check. I would never recommend anyone to this restaurant

Ji Won L.

Yelp
Koreans don't really come here anymore. They also significantly reduced the menu to cut costs. None of the menus on this site reflects the real menu. The service is much slower due to being understaffed. The meat dishes were decent but significantly overpriced.

Ema M.

Yelp
If I could give -1 star I would. We did not even eat here because of the absurd customer service. We walked in and asked to be seated. The lady at the front, gave us a menu to look at first. Because we were a party of four, she INSISTED we order an expensive option for our group. She said nothing else on the menu was available. Bizarre. Then she seemed annoyed at our questions. BUT..what really deterred us..is she cringed and made a annoyed look at us. It was obvious and extremely RUDE. Mind you one of my friends was Asian..so it was weird and unexpected. Wtf. One of the worst customer service ever. No wonder it was empty. If they continue this..their business will not do well. We ended up going across the street to Beto's and son...much better service, food and ambience. Go there instead!! Do NOT support this business. Not worth checking out ...and I heard there's better Korean BBQ in Dallas. This place is a disappointment..very sketchy customer service .

Yelp
We had been trying to get to Kim's House and finally pulled it off today. What a pleasant surprise. To start with the place is huge, very bright and open, a nice environment for a quiet dinner or date. Started with fried dumplings, followed by beef bulgogi and pork belly. Outstanding cuts of meat, seasoned to perfection. The bonchon was great, with a half dozen dishes from kimchi to japchae. What really made the place special was the service. Our server was Mia, sister of the owner and a real YouTube chef (sassy Korean cooking). She was fun and attentive. Her bread pudding was amazing. The owner came by to help with cooking our meat, gave a little lesson too! All in all a wonderful experience. West Dallas needs a good Korean spot. I think we've found it. Highly recommend.

Yelp
All the information available online indicates that this is an AYCE spot. They decided to completely change their business model to (overpriced) a la carte without any sort of rebranding or indication otherwise. Total bait and switch. And when asked about it, the lady tried to gaslight us by blaming it on Google rather than just own up to and be transparent about the change. The waitress tried to upsell the most expensive meat set, insisting she would make it "worthwhile". Total used car salesman vibes. If you ask for water they will only give you bottled water. Oh, and they insist on cooking the meat for us but then walk away long enough to then return and make a snarky comment about how the meat is over cooked. She thought she was being funny but it was in really poor taste (no pun intended). If you have time to be schmoozing customers to get them to purchase more, maybe you should actually do your job instead of half-assing it.

Stella C.

Yelp
Food was great and all but was hard to eat and have conversations when the attendant is there the entire time. Server was very nice and quick ,but they cook everything for you and serve you kind of like you are a kid. VERY hard to eat with someone over your shoulder.

Adrie S.

Yelp
***3.5 stars*** My friend and I wanted to ring in the new year with some tasty KBBQ and we were very excited to try this newly opened AYCE KBBQ. The location is across from Art Park, which is great walking distance. The interior is sleek but I personally wished the tables were a bit bigger since the grill takes up a large portion of it. The menu is a bit confusing at first but I'm assuming it is temporary as it was stapled together and not laminated. It didn't outright say it was AYCE and it labels the choices as Plan A or B course. Plan A was $29.99 and Plan B was $35.99. I was a bit disappointed that even the more expensive AYCE option didn't include galbi ribs but we still went with that option since there was a larger selection of meats. You can still order galbi, but as a separate order for $15.99. They also provide a Shabu Shabu option but we decided to stick to KBBQ only. They provided us a Korean pancake and japchae which was different than what I'm used to. Usually you would get a steamed egg and a kimchi or soybean stew. The banchan only included a white radish, kimchi, and white kimchi. We also received a salad and white rice. In my opinion the salad was a bit too sweet in the sauce that they tossed it in. We were allowed to order 2 meats at a time so we went with chadol (thin beef brisket) and thin sliced pork belly. The thin pork belly was tasty and was quick to cook so that was refreshing. I usually have to wait for a long time to get the pork belly going. The chadol that we ordered didn't look or taste like chadol so I thought they maybe misheard our order. It was a bit fatty and a larger piece of meat, very uncharacteristic of normal chadol which is a smaller, leaner piece of meat. We thought they may have given us the thin beef belly instead so we ordered that next. I believe they mixed up the labels in the kitchen or something, not that I'm complaining since I thoroughly enjoyed both types of meat. The thin beef belly was tender with a great balance of marbling. We also ordered garlic pork belly which was pretty standard so no complaints. However, our waitress didn't come to our table so we had to flag down another waiter to get meat orders in. It put a lot of time in between cooking and our grill blackened so we ended up only ordering twice since it was taking way too long. But given that they were short-staffed and newly opened, I can't compare this experience entirely with other kbbq places I've been to. Overall, I would say they still need to work out some small kinks but the quality of meats is there. Leaving off a couple stars for room to grow :) I just wished they included galbi in the AYCE since that's a staple meat you can get at other AYCE places. A great option if you're in that area and want to try it out. I'll likely be back for another shot at KBBQ and try the Shabu Shabu!

Yelp
My lovely daughter was treating us to dinner and it turned out to be a bad experience. We will never go back to this place. I guess we should have realized it when we first arrived. The waitress had us waiting at the counter for 10 minutes reviewing the menu with us forcing us to choose an option from the menu for everyone. We then asked can we be seated, she didn't appreciate that we asked to be seated. We finally ordered. We were told we would get unlimited refills on the sides and not the meats. When we ordered a third bowl of salad she said you will have to pay, it's only 2 refills. My daughter got her phone and looked at the menu online and the waitress touches her phone and says that is an old menu. The nerve of this lady getting into her business. Next as we are cooking the meat she comes and does it for us. If you order water expect a water bottle. They do not serve tap water. Ridiculous!! This place charges you for everything. Don't get me wrong I will pay for good service and good food but this was neither. They don't like when you don't go with their suggestions. Never again!! Hope this helps you make a decision to find another place that is good and you are treated well. My poor daughter was so disappointed when she was trying to share a great experience with us. 6 of us 300.00 dollars for crappy service and food.

Amanda T.

Yelp
Spent over $100 for takeout to get the bulgogi and short rib. Both meats are chewy and ill flavored - not typical or tasty Korean flavors. For a $45 short rib plate you get 4 pieces. The egg rolls are soggy and soaked in some horrible sauce. This restaurant not only has terrible food, but is a complete rip off. Never again.

Yelp
Awkward, overbearing, rushed service. First, it took forever for them to acknowledge us and get our order started. The banchan was pretty weak, just a couple of small portions of OK sides but nothing great. The worst part of the experience was how the crazy waitress insisted on throwing all the meat on the grill herself. She just grabbed the tongs and started putting so much meat on there, there was no way we could eat that much at once. She wouldn't listen, so we had to reach out and block her with chopsticks to stop and ask if we could take over. She came back by and reached across the table and added more meat on the grill herself 2 more times. We had to literally hide the tongs from her after this. All the meat was overcooked and dry because she insisted on piling it on the grill for us all at once. Part of the fun of going to Korean barbecue is the cooking experience! This was basically a terrible waste of money. I didn't see any other servers behaving this way - I hope she is the only one or they will be out of business soon.

Daniel C.

Yelp
Tasty Korean food right in the heart of Dallas with the friendliest service! The beef belly and bulgogi are delicious.

Jim R.

Yelp
A friend suggested we try Kim's as he had eaten there several times and had a positive experience each time. Parking was easy and very close. We were quickly seated and warmly greeted by Mia. We ordered fried dumplings for the appetizer and a two-person combo. The dumplings arrived very quickly and were warm and fresh. Although I had previously never been a big dumpling fan, I loved these dumplings. They were delicious. Next came a tremendous salad. Was perfectly seasoned and fresh. Mia even brought out a second bowl later in the meal. I could not believe how much meat came with the order. Easily could have feed three, or possibly four people. It all looked very fresh. Along came very tasty sides of rice, noodles, sauces, and vegetables. Overall, I really liked Kim's. Will definitely be returning.

Anika U.

Yelp
8/10 overall. Drinks are canned or bottled only. Food was room temperature. Seems overpriced for the quality of the food.

Alan N.

Yelp
Food was good. Price is very high with almost no options to keep the bill small. Very friendly server who cooked the food at our table. I'd go back if it weren't so expensive.

Vanessa F.

Yelp
Excellent menu and service in a nice atmosphere! Great place for a special occasion or the family. Prices are high though.

Brenda J.

Yelp
My daughter and I had great, friendly service and our meal was wonderful. The restaurant had a good atmosphere.

Ruth M.

Yelp
My friends and I arrived around 8:30, and the owner did not hesitate to let us know, after we were seated that they close at 9:30 sharp. Initially they attempted to seat all five of us at a table with one stove. I politely asked if we could sit at a table with two instead, and there was an immediate hesitation on their end as if they could not accommodate but the restaurant was nearly empty upon arrival so I didn't see the problem. I wear glasses, but damn I had my contacts in and could see clear as serran wrap! The owner took care of us...or her sister, whomever she was she sat us down and immediately started suggesting appetizers. Cool, it was our first time and she wanted us to have a tasty experience. The egg rolls and dumplings were good, but covered in a teriyaki like sauce. It was a bit overwhelming. Anywho, as we proceed to order she immediately pushed the combo for 3-4 people instead of the combo for 2 which was still plenty for the 3 of us sharing a stove. She took everyone's drinks, but never served those who didn't order a drink water. And for reference, by those of us it's me...I am those of us. Cool. Whatever We order and the menu indicates all the sauces you can have your meat come with or marinaded in, but this was never mentioned to us.So for someone who was pushing these appetizers we should try because they taste great, she sure didn't mention how we could elevate our meat with these sauces and seasonings advertised on the menu. Our food comes out and of course, as per any Korean bbq place, we start putting meat on the grill. At our own pace. She then inserts herself at our table and starts filling the grill completely with all random meats at once. At this point she's cooking our meat at a faster pace than we can eat--we start rushing to keep up with her. If I wanted a Benihana's experience I would have went there--especially to feed the fish under the bridge. But this iswhere i started to get annoyed. Like, please let's us enjoy this experience? Anywho, she does this again with a 3rd serving of meat and leaves to the other side of the table to insert herself to cook their meat as she did ours. I flip our meat which some of it was pork and within seconds she immediately comes and starts distributing the pork on our plates. This is where I became upset. I JUST flipped the pork over and not even 5 seconds past and she's serving it on our plates. Okay at this point, I'm offended that there was no regard to make sure the pork was cooked to completion So we at this point we are 3-4 cooks in and our grill top is BLACK. We can't even tell if the meat is cooking because each side has been charred immediately and looks cooked on the outside but who knows. Not to add. There's chicken to be mindful of. Again, the disregard for making sure everything is safe to eat since she's cooking it is boiling my blood at this point. whatever, the only positive thing I can say is that there was no charge for alll of the extra meat we needed to take to go. As we're eating and she's done cooking she leaves our table comes back and asks about the bill and payment. Before we can respond, she looks at us and asks if we can just arrange to Venmo each other? I couldn't help but feel that was so unprofessional. Like what is that? What if I had a basic pre-paid flip phone because the way these gas prices are these days, I've been thinking about it!! Anywho, I GUESS I get that she would prefer it to be paid on one card, and she could have just said that instead of just asking us to venmo eachother. Not once did the grill get changed, it was as black as the tarr used to patch cracks on Cockerhill. We were rushed and everything then started to taste burnt. Our cooking experience was taken away from us and we didn't have much privacy as we ate because she inserted herself. AND THEN, automatically added gratuity to the bill of two people and to the bill of three people. The bill overall in my opinion, was way too much already. As this lady was polite, it did not come off as genuine. She was rushing us the entire time but kept telling us to take our time. I thought Opposite Day was a middle school myth!? If she felt we came in too late at 8:30 because they close at 9:30 sharp, she could have told us she couldn't seat a party of our size that late. On top of everything it was way over priced. The combo base price alone came out to about $60 per person for unseasoned non-marinated meat. Gen is better and cheaper. I will not be back. I don't recommend but i wish this business the best of luck.

Lily V.

Yelp
The service here alone makes me not want to come back. Every server we had that came by was rude. Meats were okay, tasted like something I could get at Fiesta. The side dishes are yummy but not enough to keep me as a returning customer. Didn't keep up with changing the grill so ours was burnt as hell. To be honest, I should've gone to Gens in Carrolton.

David P.

Yelp
Quality of the food doesn't match price. We went to Kim's house on New year for lunch. Before hand, i had high hope. Alas, I was wrong. Well, first they made us to order the same set lunch. We couldn't even order from the menu. There were six of us and they only gave us 4 small bowls of side dishes and they were cheap side dishes. How did they expect six big guys to share four small bowls of side dishes. They charged us 75 dollars per person but only allowed one refill of each side dish! The meat were very plain. The waitress was very funny but I was very disappointed. 75 dollars per person for lunch? We couldn't order of the menus? Only four small bowls of side dishes? And the kimchi was terrible. I love kimchi and their kimchi was not good. For a 75 dollars lunch, I expect more

Valerie V.

Yelp
I was blown away by the food it was decadent! Everything was seasoned so well! We were a party of 4 adults and 2 kids. We did not finish all the food. The packages each came with rice & glass noodles as well as various toppings. The meat was sliced very thin and cooked so fast. So go hungry and indulge in some delicious food

Amber M.

Yelp
This place was awesome! Great selection of KBBQ meats. The sides and condiments are all homemade by Kim herself. Family owed restaurant. I don't have a single complaint

Junior C.

Yelp
Never have i been here, i Wanted to celebrate my anniversary tonight, simply called to ask for information, seems they don't want your business person who answered really sounded like they hated their job, was quick to rush me off the phone and hung up on me. Party of fiteen going elsewhere good luck with this business.

Tan H.

Yelp
The one star is for the good service Completely overpriced for KBBQ. 2pm on a Saturday and it was completely empty, so we were given great service for a table of 7. Food was bland and mediocre. $15 for a bottle of soju. Food is not AYCE. Had to ask for edamame to be seasoned or salted because it just comes plain for $10. Save yourself the trouble and drive the extra few miles to GEN.

Egd D.

Yelp
They charged too much!!! The food is not bad but it's not good either. The tip should be optional. If you like the service then you give a tip but if the service is bad then you have the option not to give. In our case they already included the tip in our bills. It means they are the one who decided how much tip we give. Customer service is also bad. No wonder there's a lot of empty tables. Please stay away from this place!!!

Shayla N.

Yelp
This review is 20 minutes after eating and yes, I have a food coma. Love Korean BBQ but the best part about Kim's is that it's also Shabu Shabu (literally two asian food I desperately desire everyday). Compared to the supreme Gen's in Carrollton, I can definitely say the food is absolutely FRESH. Although it's not all-you-can-eat, it's still worth the money. Parking might be difficult if you're not good at parallel parker (park on the side of the complex). The restaurant was pretty chill, not crowded, obviously because this restaurant is new. The staff was amazing. The waitress always come and cook for us when we're busy grubbing down. They even provided me extra salad, japchae and rice for free! Just really down to earth service. This place is definitely an authentic Korean BBQ house. No lie! I will come here again to support this new restaurant (trying Shabu Shabu out next time). Oh before I forget, I ate course A with Short Ribs - I still feel it in my belly. BTW - salad is so damn good.

Yelp
There are so many better places to go for this than Kim's place. We initially went when it was Kay's place and were not thrilled but decided to give it a second try after the name change. Still pretty much a fail. Our server was rude, I like to think she was just having a bad day, but taking it out on a table who just got there and hasn't given you reason to be rude is not ideal. Luckily the guy that seemed to be in charge switched her for another person mid-meal which was better. They are WAY overpriced for what you get. An order of basic egg rolls is $13, and they were mushy and already had sauce all over them instead of sauce on the side. The sauce wasn't my favorite so, for me it ruined a $13 order of 4 egg rolls. Not cool. The salad was good, but out of place. One of the things I like about Korean BBQ is all of the fun little side dishes and kimchi. They only serve three little dishes which was disappointing for sure. You get three skimpy portions of cucumber, daikon and kimchi. They don't have good kimchi. Also, they don't seem to care at all how you want to cook your own meat. They throw it on for you even if you don't want them to, and were kind of overbearing on how we were cooking it. Constantly coming over and cutting things up. We know how we want our meats done, each of us is different, and they are pretty aggressive at deciding how you will cook your overpriced meat. I didn't like that at all. Also they didnt even change the bottom pan so it was all black and sticky and not great for cooking on. Other places we have been change the cooking surface several times throughout the meal and let us cook at our leisure. I get they are worried about people not cooking things thoroughly but there is a good way to make people aware without ruining their meals. If I were you, I would skip this place and make the drive to Arlington to Omi. The service is better, the price is inclusive of the appetizers and all meats and seafood, and overall just a MUCH MUCH better experience than Kim's by 100X. I tried twice to like this place but it is just not for me.

Yelp
Stay away and far away from this place. There are better Korean BBQ restaurants around instead of this place. The last reviews sound similar to our experience. They try to have you choose certain items to charge you more. They kept coming over to cook the meat for us instead of allowing us to doing it ourselves. Then she tried to charge us the tip twice but I noticed it and she refunded the $$. I guess she wanted to reward herself for cooking, when we were trying to do it ourselves. All the Korean BBQ places that we have been to included endless meats. This place doesn't do that at all.

Yelp
Terrible they overpriced us and tried to scam us. The food wasn't even that good. They cooked everything for you instead of letting you cook it yourself. The waitress tried to make it seem like we were just dumb. They didn't even have an itemized receipt. It was a hand written receipt. I felt discriminated against. Horrible place, do not go here. There are TONS of other Korean BBQ places you could go that are WAY classier and better tasking and have a better price.

Yelp
Found this place on a Yelp search...The staff and food was awesome...it's a little pricey but we will definitely come back...

Yelp
this is the worst Korean bbq spot i've been too. when we came in, I asked if it was open because it was empty. the hostess said yes and told me that there was no buffet, I said ok. (by the way I didn't ask for buffet). then after about 45 seconds while gathering the menus to seat us, she proceeds to say to me AGAIN that there was no buffet. I offered no response and just looked at her. from this, we should have just left overall, the food is bland and gross (chicken thighs?) and the service was uncomfortable. the waitress cooks your food for you and when I told her I wanted my meat well done, she seemingly became upset and irritated at me. most places you cook your own food so I told her I'll cook it myself after noticing she was very annoyed how I wanted my food cooked. she walked away and didn't come back to our table until the end. then someone else came and handed me my check. I took my food home and just dumped it in the garbage. needless to say, I won't be going back. would give it 0 stars if I could.

Yelp
Aunties here are so fun! They help serve and make such a great dinner atmosphere. The food is great! Recommend the seafood pancake

Yelp
We have went to this place one other time and had an okay time. After traveling all day back to Dallas we wanted to rather large meal. We were greeted by the lady at the door telling us that it wasn't all you can eat. Which we knew that since we had been there before. There's even a sign posted. Not to mention it's always soooo dead In there. How are they affording that space?! We asked for some water which this handed us a bottle. For $89 for the Korean bbq place you'd think those would just be free. That's just the start of the whole experience. We asked about some things on the menu and you could tell the lady was getting really annoyed with us. It was just normal questions nothing out of the ordinary. Her energy was so awful we decided to leave for almost $90 we can go somewhere else for dinner and have a much more peaceful evening. We ended up going to Sura Korean Bistro. 15 minutes up the road and completely worth it. You won't be disappointed.

Yelp
We had an awesome time at this restaurant, great food and customer service was beyond amazing with Kim. Clean and overall just great vibes. If you're looking for great quality Korean barbecue, this is the place to be.

Yelp
This is the best Korean bbq we ever went too!! I should've gone here for my 18th birthday because of Jenny we had the best experience. Jenny was the coolest, funniest, and the most interactive person we've had and we were so glad to have her as our server. The food was so delicious and delightful, it really tasted like Korean food and I highly recommend as their kimchi is also fresh. I'll forever go here to eat as this is my first time and my first option to think when I want meat. All of this food was worth $139 so it was a good deal. If you go try to have Jenny as your server she's my absolute favorite.

Yelp
Wow what a wild horrid experience I just had at Kim's. The food was mid but very expensive. They kept putting our food tongs and scissors (yes that's right, you cut meat with fucking scissors) directly on the dirty table. They mocked us for asking for more sauce. They demanded an 18% tip after the worst service I have ever had in Dallas. Just all in I'm Shocked and won't be returning and suggest you dont spend your hard earned money at this establishment.

Yelp
When driving over the Trinity River bridge coming outside of Dallas you are greeted with this Korean corner castle. From the moment you open the door you will be lifted into a K-Dramas food coma territory. Amount of meat given on these combo platters can feed entire family reunions. Sauces enchanted with the spirit of the ancestors that crafted these dishes. Service that can't rival entire culinarily degrees in a hour long meal. Truly a Dallas delight. Cons: They didn't bring water. Will comeback next week tho After you eat take a walk through trinity grove and get a liquid nitrogen margarita.

Yelp
The four of us were here for early Father's Day celebration. Enjoyed the sauces and barbequed meats: beef, pork loin and spicy marinated chicken. Kimchee, daikon, salad and rice served. Lots of botted beers available. Kim and Sean were very accommodating and helped us cook our food. The place is spotlessly clean. Enjoyed the seafood pancake.

Yelp
Total Rip Off. Went for dinner with a group of 5. We were charged a 20% service fee. We bought the meal for 4 $159 dollars. They let me know that I could choose another meat to add to our meal. We were charged for every single item. If your looking for a real AYCE Korean bbq this isn't it. We were charged over $344 dollars at the end of our bill. We will never visit this place again, The food was super blane, not a lot of flavor whatsoever ever and they put all meats on one plate. You had the Chicken, pork and meat all touching on one plate - and only one set of tongs. Do not waste your money here. Look elsewhere for Korean BBQ

Yelp
Wow. Honestly, this was such an amazing experience. Food was excellent and the service was a whole different level. We had a big group come in near closing and they were willing to stay later and accommodate us. I felt so at home and Mia and Vivian were so kind. I wish I could give this place more stars. I am definitely coming back when I'm in town again. I left feeling full, happy, and a better perspective towards life. Mia is better than Kim!! Haha

Yelp
Awesome service, helped us cook meat to perfection gave us tips on what sauce and sides to eat with each meat. Clean facility and clean grills! Will be coming again!

Robbie P.

Yelp
Waited five minutes for the host to notice we were there. Finally sat down and looked at the menu and noped right out of there. Prices are absurd, no all you can eat, which is a staple of most Korean BBQ joints. Price for two was $90. We decided to go to Plano and eat at Gen instead. Like most places in this area, I bet this place will have a new name and owner in 3-6 months.

Yelp
For the price point and serving size I will never return. Chicken thighs are way to cheap to charge what they charge for them. In addition, we had to constantly ask for "PAM" for our grill. With their price point they should at least have their own spray oil cans with their logos on it instead of PAM. We asked twice for a salads without almonds due to an allergy before our table received one. Save your money.
