Kimura Review - East Village - New York - The Infatuation

"Although they aren’t braised, the pork trotters at Kimura are legendary and the collagen nabe (pork trotters are full of collagen, the skin-boosting superfood du jour) is worth a special trip. It’s one of the most popular dishes, and my personal favorite, at this Japanese hotpot restaurant on Saint Marks. Here, pig trotters are stewed for more than eight hours to create a rich, almost milky soup base and trotters as soft as jelly." - Amber Gibson

Google
Great experience at Kimura! The tuna & salmon poke bowl was delicious. The chef served me up a side of sauce he had just invented and it was a flavor profile I'd never had before and was an excellent addition. The service was great and attentive. Recommended!!

I tried out their happy hour at noon, purchasing only two rolls which totaled $27.93 for takeout. I felt the value was poor, and more importantly, the quality and taste were disappointing. After eating two pieces, as shown in the photo, the double salmon roll had salmon that seemed like a thin layer of paper placed on top (I laid them flat for a clearer view). This was quite mediocre compared to the salmon rolls I've had at other sushi places. The restaurant seemed to cut corners, offering minimal portions, and the service was subpar. I'm really disappointed with this place. It was a terrible experience, and I'm not inclined to return.

Google
We enjoyed the AYCE special (May 2022: $27.99 for all you can eat). Quality what you would expect for all you can eat. Initially we had an unfriendly employee but then a super friendly waitress came on! It is BYOB and they don’t have wine glasses but they did have an ice bucket. As of May 22, only indoor seating. Update July 2022 Most rolls were stuffed with cucumber and crunch (see 3 and 4 photos for pictures of the spicy tuna roll). Great service, low quality sushi. Not even worth the all you can eat deal unless you love rolls filled with crunch and cucumber.

Google
Pretty awful and expensive. The rice was mushy and the sushi was pretty flavorless. Spicy mayo is my favorite but unfortunately this one was not great. Same issue. Not enough flavor. The avocado appetizer was delicious. It had a deep fried crust and had a lot of flavor. They need to work on translating whatever made this taste good to the sushi. The sesame balls were good, Just like anywhere else. We ordered 3 rolls, the avocado appetizer, the sesame balls and a soda. The total was around $80, which was a rip off in itself - and it was not even that good. I will never go back for sushi.

Google
Excellent sushi, fresh, clean, a true hidden gem. Fried rice, miso soup, sashimi platter, their individual rolls everything is excellent!

Google
Rocky was a great, very friendly guy, and over all, the food we had was amazing. The fried chicken surprised me it comes with his special sauce, and it hit every tone. I highly recommend this place

Google
At all you can eat, we had five orders at the last batch, got only 4. Appetizers came after requesting 3 times. Sashimi came without any sides. Fried calamari was only 4 pieces under all you can eat instead of 8, which we found weird. Sushi rolls tasted good and satisfying. We will be back again expecting better service.

Google
Kimura was kind of a disappointment. At the price of $20+ we were expecting something a lot better. The quality of sushi here is something you would get at a grocery store. It's packed way too full of rice and didn't taste fresh. The only thing I really enjoyed were items I didn't come here for like the fried chicken and seaweed salad. Overall service was great though but doesn't make up for the lack of quality.

Yelp
Wow!! Just wow! Amazing food, awesome staff, and a nice atmosphere!! The restaurant is also BYOB me and my hubby love it here

Yelp
My friend recommended lunch at Kimura Sushi. She's a regular, this is my first experience. I am so happy that we dined there! It's a small dining space and at the time we had the place to ourselves (however, DoorDash orders were coming in!). Our waiter was so friendly and personable. He offered us samples of chicken with a new flavor that was great (I hope it's now on the menu)! The fried rice was fresh and did not require any sauce but they do offer yum yum and other sauces if that's your style! Also, if I lived near this place I would have a serious craving problem for their crab rangoons because they might have been the best I've had yet! The smoothies would also be a regular favorite for me as well. Go support this small business! I can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Finally checked out this quaint ramen/sushi spot in Little Italy, and not sure if I'd dine again. The food was not very impressive and the portions were slightly on the smaller side. Granted, the prices are more affordable compared to competitors, but was really missing that flavor bomb. My salmon roll was poorly prepared and the size of the pieces were quite small. The rice in my Chashu bowl tasted like vinegar (they must've used the same rice used for the sushi) and threw off the whole palette. Service was not the great either as it seemed they were short staffed. We didn't get any refills on our drinks; overall service was just poor.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious food here at Kimura Sushi. We started with a Miso soup, which is free when you check in on Yelp! Next, we had the crab Rangoons which ended up being some of the best rangoons we have had. The vegetable roll ended up being delicious because of the sweet potato inside. I have never had a vegetable roll with sweet potato before so it really was a game changer for me. Our friend ordered the spicy shrimp ramen, and the broth was to die for. If I am able to return I would order the ramen. The inside of the restaurant was very small and intimate. There was extra seating downstairs for more room. The waiter provided great service and he even let us Bluetooth our phone so we could play music over the speaker. Overall, the food was delicious, the atmosphere was great, and letting us play our own music really added a personal touch that led me to leaving a 5 star review.

Yelp
A cozy little spot with decent ramen! The ramen and Takoyaki were both good but the sushi and chicken katsu rice dish were just okay. I probably wouldn't get a rice dish again, but I will be back for ramen. The broth was very rich and the noodles were good.

Samantha M.

Yelp
This is my favorite Sushi spot. My coworkers and I come here often for lunch and the food is always fresh and the service is always amazing! The owner is very hospitable and makes great recommendations. If you are in the area you should definitely stop by. It is a small place with limited seating, but the food is worth it.
google avatar

Cait B.

Yelp
The ramen here was super delicious and they were quick to get us some food! I asked for the mildest spice possible and it was still burning my tongue! I'm not sure if they accidentally gave me the wrong type or if they just super spicy. The entrance of this spot is so cute though!

Yelp
The service was great. The sushi fresh and tasty. I had the crunch roll (tempura with cream cheese, avocado, salmon I believe, and I added soy paper.) Green tea. And the gyoza. All very good. Will be back. Parking kinda sucks.

Yelp
I was super excited to go to the Asian place my Brother & Wife raved about. Unfortunately, this was not a good time for them I assume. The server (taller Man with Glasses) was not up for the job of service. We arrived and was forced to sit in a small, 2 top table, as we were told a party of 4 would come. No one came. Then the server went downstairs for about 10 min. We were given plastic liquor cups with faucet water and the menus to review. Now, I love Asian cuisine, so when server returned asked us if we dined here before. I explained I haven't but heard good things. We proceed to order a variety of items for the sever to advise us we shouldn't since I have not been there before and don't know what it may taste like. Confused, I advised I was okay and ordered 2 apps, 2 rolls and ramen. Food came and I was disappointed... Flavorless and not the same items or prepared the same as my brother had experienced. I am now super disappointed. While our server could care less about our experience there was no need to complain. They have an offer inside, that if you check in Yelp, you can get a chicken appetizer. But here is the catch!! They require you to give then a 5-star rating before your dining experience.
google avatar

Anthony N.

Yelp
The ramen is too salty and chicken too dry. But their sushi is fresh and tasty. Seaweed salad, miso soup, California roll, futo maki, salmon roe, and sashimi are all good.

Yelp
Food: Traditional expectations of $30 all you can eat. Not blown away. Microwaved foods. Building: Clean and well kept. Service: Good job table checking. NOT SERVICE DOG FRIENDLY! Educate your staff on Federal Laws. https://beta.ada.gov/topics/service-animals/ Ultimately was not worth the $$ spent on it. Absolutely won't repeat or recommend.

Yelp
This spot is our go-to sushi in little Italy. They've got all you can eat for $24, and it's worth every penny (dine in only). The actual fish is impressive for a place that's a bit of a "hole in the wall" - it seems very fresh, and the owner is always there, making the sushi, serving the tables and taking care of business all around. They have some space for outdoor dining, and it's BYOB.

Santana S.

Yelp
the food was ok i got all you can eat i got there at 9 ordered one time and ordered smoothies took 30 minutes to bring them & then wanted to order again and the waiter told me that i can't because they are closing kitchen while still talking pick up orders.!He said sorry he didn't let us know."he was busy"(we were the only ones in the restaurant)RUINED the experience still had to pay for all you can eat! Really small place very close to each other can hear the cooks talking otp

Yelp
Nice spot. Really dope for Date spot. Tasty food and its BYOB which is cool af

Yelp
My absolute favorite place! The food sis always so good and fresh. If you haven't tried the fried chicken ramen, you are missing out!

Yelp
nice place for all you can eat sushi! Also it's BYOB. Best salmon. Nice cozy environment. Only few tables limited seating but outside patio is also available

Yelp
Sushi was great! Fish was fresh. Shrimp and eel, delicious. Server was friendly and attentive. Atmosphere while quiet and clean not much to look at and it was very cold inside...brrrr. Next time I go, I'm taking an Eskimo coat, and there will be a next time
google avatar

Abril G.

Yelp
The place is really small but cute. We got the avocado bomb which was larger and tastier than I expected. Caterpillar roll, which was average, and ramen. The ramen was a level 2 spicy, but tasted more like a level 3. It was overall good but nothing super special.
google avatar

Ambra R.

Yelp
The food was good but the service could use improvement. The restaurant was pretty empty and had a lonely ambiance. The server was pretty awkward and didn't offer the best service, probably won't be back.

Yelp
Black garlic miso with charsu: I did not make a big deal out of it, but I had asked for udon instead of ramen...but I was still served ramen noodles. Even the recipe said udon -_- The broth was too salty, I couldn't even taste anything else. The black garlic and sesame were too overpowering and all you really taste is the sesame. The chasu was very tough and overcooked. The thin noodles were okay. The only good thing was the house made chili sauce. It had a very nice roasted aroma. The guy next to us got the challenger ramen and he said it was very spicy. So I didn't put too much, but the first scoop didn't feel spicy enough so I add more. The spice does not hit you in the face right away, but it lingers...in a nice way. The perfect amount of spice, so to say. I know this isn't probably a spot to try their ramen and their sushi is probably why they have a 3.5 stars. But this review is based on the ramen only.

Yelp
ONLY writing this review because so many of the others are so positive and this whole experience at this restaurant was god awful and I wish most of these yelp reviews actually reflected how this dinner was. The waitress was obviously new to serving and had no idea what she was doing. not only was my table but every table around us was asking for simple things like PLATES and soy sauce/dishes. I saw multiple tables get the wrong item or their food went to the wrong table. On top of that her coworker was yelling at her from the kitchen to be faster so that was awkward. Even more so because there was no music playing so every table was sitting awkwardly regretting even coming here. And then there's the FOOD. We got some apps which weren't horrible but you can tell they were all just frozen and deep fried. However the ROLLS were absolutely disgusting, the main culprit was like a fried or baked dragon roll thing. Completely inedible, like seriously I think they forgot about it in the deep fryer and then just covered it with spicy mayo. The other two rolls had potential to be okay but once again were DRENCHED in mayonnaise and sauce. Complete waste of money and time and caloric intake.

Reehan B.

Yelp
BEWARE: fly infestation and the owner is incompetent. You are going to wait a long time. Get the wrong food. Then the owner will tell you they gave your food to another table. Then tell you the kitchen is closed now. Followed by a few minutes of haggling on the total of the bill due to their errors. The owner/chef does not know how to run a business. If you do go here, bring a fly swatter.

David M.

Yelp
I never leave reviews, but I am making an exception for this spot. I've been here twice now, and both times have been great. Both the sushi and ramen were amazing. The service was also great and accommodating.

Yelp
Came here a while back and wanted to make it back but just haven't been in the area. Back during the thick of Covid i appreciated how diligent they were with social distancing and overall keeping patrons safe. Following protocols aside, their food was great in my opinion and I really appreciated the variety they offer. From ramen to bowls to fresh fruit smoothies they really have it all. Hoping to do the all you can eat sushi soon

Yelp
Wonderful little Japanese place on Taylor with friendly vibes and friendlier prices for a graduate student. The maki roll was 10.pcs for $13 and ramen $14. Had the Godzilla roll and a bowl of spicy tonkotsu with charsui spicy level 3. I was pleasantly suprised with their unassuming ramen and the flavorful broth. Fresh soba noodles and a perfectly cooked ramen egg was just the thing. They have a wide variety of regular and signature maki rolls as well as an all you can eat for $25. Comparing ramens across chitown I would put this one in my top 5. The owner/chef was super nice and came to chat with us before closing for the day.Would definitely recommend this place to anyone interested in Japanese food.

Yelp
Ok so I rate this a 3.5 but will round to 4. I went with friends. Two of us got ramen and rolls and another got all sushi. Their new thing is 22.95 sushi all you can eat. So I see a lot of people getting to. I think they have a wide variety of options but the issue is that the rice is off. It's not flavored super well tbh. The inside variety is solid. So they just gotta work on the rice. They have good vegetarian options too! As for the ramen it's solid, but they rely on the spicy chilly oil a little much. It feels like it overpowers the rest of the ramen. The egg is real good. As is the chasu. It's v yum like they know how to make a food chasu. But the rest is kind of average. It's nice to get to pick what broth and type u want. Maybe more flavoring and even salt. It just felt spice. The 2/4 felt like a 3 lol. Crab rangoons not bad pretty big. Overall there's an upstairs and downstairs and cool decor. Nice friend or date spit Updating: 2nd time here I got all u can eat and the rice is still off as of December 2019. The Chicago and the black dragon were pretty good. Like I'm saying, overall ok but ya

Yelp
Kimura breathes a fresh of breath air to the slumping sushi options in University Village. It resembles its predecessor "Ichiban" in many ways, and I'm still not convinced they aren't owned by the same management as the god-awful Volcano down the street. However, they're probably the best we've got in terms of sushi and Chinese-style appetizers that you can get. W'eve been here twice now- both for the $19.95 AYCE dinner option. Anyone that has experience with Japanese food will notice the Chinese influence over its food. The appetizer choices were definitely a great start with many resembling what you would find in dim sum restaurants- the shrimp toast for one, and the sweet-and-sour katsudon that they serve. Be warned that they don't use katsu sauce and pile on a lot of rice with that option. I'd avoid to save room for sushi. As for the sushi, we were impressed by how good the options were especially when it came to the Chef's Specials. All the other rolls are fairly basic (California roll topped with some sauce and added ingredient), but the three Chef Special's were fantastic. Sweetheart was our favorite with the Double Flame coming in a close second. However, the way they prepared it seemed to change in between chefs. I like consistency but it's not a huge deal. Service here was good overall especially for only having one server go up and down the restaurant. She must have legs of steel walking up and down each time. Our only major gripe about Kimura was that during our second visit (with two people again), gratuity was automatically included. Nowhere on the menu does it indicate this, and when asked, our server stated it was simply the way it is. Our first visit did NOT have added gratuity so I would ask beforehand if you are picky about a forced tip. Other than that, KImura is a solid addition to the sushi family and likely the one I will be going back again if I am craving AYCE that's closeby in University Village.

Yelp
My order was takeout. The staff was super friendly and understanding of the situation with Covid. We ordered one Fried Chicken Ramen and one Pork Belly Ramen, along with the Avocado Bomb appetizer. Delicious Avocado Bomb. It reminded me of tempura veggies. The Ramen was super tasty and filling. They do a great job of separating the broth from the noodles. Overall, delicious food and attentive staff. We will continue to patronize them through the pandemic. Thank you for making delicious food.

Yelp
Went here against my better judgment, the cleanliness and waiter's unenthusiasm was an immediate red flag. The sushi here is so bad, we took a few bites of what was recognizable and had to leave the table and restaurant full stop. Anyone that eats here is taking a risk. After telling the waiter that Nothing we ordered felt safe to eat. He said we were the 1st to complain in 5yrs. I was shocked this place has been open for 5yrs. This place should be closed.

Scott S.

Yelp
I don't even write reviews, but I have to for this one....this was our first time dining in here and our hard earned money should have gone elsewhere. to say I was disappointed is an understatement. Diet Coke (expired by 6 months) didn't even take it off the bill btw. miso soup - straight water (offered hot sauce to make it better?) Got the order wrong, no plates, etc. To top it off I pay for it and my credit card isn't even there, had to track that down too.... I thought I was getting punked... where's Ashton?
google avatar

Humaira F.

Yelp
Kimura is very cozy and they have good sushi. The seating is limited coz or covid. The place is very neat and clean.

Yelp
It's silly but the first thing I'm going to rave about is the sushi rice! Wow. Nice flavor (they must have cooked it with their own vinegar mixture). Great fluffy texture. It was a great pairing with the poke. The miso tonkotsu ramen was good. A nice mild blend. Great broth. Nothing overly salty or overly powering. Chasu is homemade! Sashimi was fresh and more than worth the price. I got the usual: salmon, white tuna and tuna. Can't go wrong with these! I think because they're so common they go through it fast hence the freshness My sister is looking at potential colleges and if she goes to UIC this is def the go to place.

Jason H.

Yelp
We went in to do a take out order and the employee accepted our order and told us to wait for 15 minutes. After waiting for 15 minutes, another employee came up and told us they are out of ingredients. We asked more questions and they said they are out of ingredients for take out order, but had ingredients left for dine in. If they told us earlier before paying and waiting, that would have been fine, but telling us afterward is a bad customer service. And telling us that they still have ingredients left, but not for take out after making us wait for 15 minutes is just rude. This was my first time here, but won't come back again.

Shuja K.

Yelp
Cons: staff does not appreciate ethnic minorities. There were two couples seated (both Caucasian) when we were seated and ordered our lunch. And ofcourse, we were the only brown couple that the waitress kept asking (15 mins after serving our food) if we were done with, even though she could clearly see that we were still eating. Never did she extend that 'courtesy' to the other guests. This was quite a turn off when she said that a third time. I would understand her rush if it were a busy hour but there were at least a couple of empty tables but no waiting guests. Pros: food is average as we ordered the tofu udon and chicken ramen noodles. Certainly not a place for non-caucasians to dine in.

Sam J.

Yelp
Do NOT go here. This was hands-down the WORST dining experience I've ever had. Some highlights from my visit: - Food took over an hour to come out and we were the only table there - There was only 1 waitress and she would disappear for 20+ minutes at a time - Waitress did not bring us small plates until 15 minutes after the appetizers came out (and we had to ask 3 times for plates) - Waitress brought several dishes we did not order and refused to take them away - Some dishes were made horrendously wrong (spicy mayo and eel sauce on sweet red bean sesame balls) - Sushi had fruit flies crawling on it when it came out - Sushi rice was not seasoned - Kitchen only made half of my order and the waitress did not care when I informed her - Half of the appetizers came out at the very end of our meal - After 2 hours at the restaurant, we needed to leave. Despite asking twice, the waitress refused to give me the rest of my order. She said I could re-order my items but I couldn't take them in a to-go box, so I ended up not getting it at all - They overcharged us by $8, tried to hide it by not giving us an itemized receipt, and would not remove the charge when we asked - Several people in my group became violently ill several hours later (check the health inspection records for this place on Yelp, they have 8 health code violations from January 2022) Reply to the owner: "This guy order *all you can eat* for diner.and asking for AYCE sushi to-go": You didn't give me the food that I originally ordered and waited 2 hours for. I needed to leave at that point so of course I would ask for it to go since I needed to leave. "For no pay. so cheap.with no pay .This guys so cheap.": Not only did I pay the full $27.95 + tax/tip for AYCE, I also paid the additional $8 that you charged us. Why would I need to pay extra for the food that I ordered as part of AYCE but did not receive? "we were busy ,.you are not the only one customer": When we walked in, there was only 1 table and they had already received their food. The next party did not come until 30 minutes after we had placed our orders. I understand you could have had delivery/pickup orders, but it should not take 1 hour to serve the only party in your dining room. "and big liar for ever.e only one customer.": I have no reason to lie about a random small restaurant. As a line cook, I want to support small restaurants, but simultaneously warn people about malicious restaurants who take your money with no regard for quality or safety
google avatar

Yelp
Excellent food, good prices, food comes quickly, but SLOW overall service, so order quickly. Sushi and ramen are highlights. Small dinning area on main floor and more seating downstairs.

Yelp
This place is underrated. I'm no sushi connoisseur but I really enjoy the sushi. The prices and service was up to part. My boyfriend and I came here on a Saturday afternoon, it was pretty dead so the staff was very attentive. After reviewing the menu we ordered eel, pork pot stickers, Japanese fried chicke, the Mexican signature roll, salmon roll and the shrimp tempura roll. The rolls came with miso soup I could've done without the soup. Overall this was a great experience the presentation was nice. The only reason why I gave this 4 out of 5 stars is because the lack of cooked sushi options and the miso soup. I recommend and I will go back.

Angel V.

Yelp
Recently discovered this place after walking down Taylor in search of new places to try. The sushi AYCE menu was okay. It was a little bland but okay for price. Where this restaurant really shines is in their Ramen abilities. The bowls of ramen are very filling. You get to choose the spice level as well. I love spice so I got 2nd to most spiciest and it did not disappoint. The amount of noodles and chicken they put is very much worth the price. This is now my go to ramen restaurant. Definitely recommend.

Yelp
Definitely my go to sushi in Little Italy/ around the medical district. Would recommend to anyone in the area.

Shannon W.

Yelp
In town for a couple days at a nearby AirBnb, and decided to try Kimura Sushi. The yellowtail and tuna Nigiri were so delicious as were the cucumber and yellowtail rolls. The quality of the fish is exceptional, and the soy sauce had a lot of depth, and a slight sweetness. Really great 'eats' worth the visit.
google avatar

Giovanni K.

Yelp
This restaurant is located in the heart of Little Italy Chicago and the location made me think of going there. This Japanese style restaurant replaces a Chinese restaurant that was in it's place. The atmosphere is okay, until they hand you a dirty menu with food encrusted on it. You may also experience having dirty chopsticks or cups. Every customer who had walked in and sat down made their way out the door eventually without ordering. Cleanliness is an important factor when choosing a sushi restaurant. The staff is very friendly but it is very hard to communicate with them. Plates lack of authenticity. Reasons to eat here: - There will never be a line going to this place - Friendly staff - Prices are very cheap Here are negative notes about this restaurant: - They do not serve alcohol - Free parking will be almost impossible to find - Lack of cleanliness - Authenticity of the meals are scarse - You get what you pay for

Yelp
Pretty good sushi for the price point. The service was okay. I went with a friend and we both decided it wasn't amazing but not the worst either.

Yelp
Perfect service and food , I recommend the fried chicken ramen level 3. It's spicy as hell

Yelp
i ate Fried chicken ramen and it was good. Miso broth was really tasty

Yelp
Ignore some of the early poor reviews about service. This is a chef owned 1st restaurant and when he first opened, yep, front of the house had issues. But the sushi was always amazing. Now, so we are talking Spring 2019, the place rocks with the best Sushi in the UC/Tri-Taylor area and BYOB to boot. They offer both a la carte and AYCE options. Just ask for the AYCE menu, have them open your wine (be prepared to be carded since they are close to Universities) and you will have the best sushi experience under $25 pp including tip.
google avatar

Buzz And Poxie C.

Yelp
We had a craving for AYCE sushi and this place happened to be the closest one to us. Unfortunately, we were disappointed because they have a limited selection especially when it comes to the appetizers and signature sushi. Miso soup was also so bland that it tasted like the instant ones you buy from the grocery. They were even out of the masago sushi, which is so easy to get now because even HMart Chicago sells it. Other places even have dessert for the same price so the next time we crave for AYCE sushi we'll just drive a bit more because it's worth it! However, Kimura improved a bit because we remember eating AYCE here when it had another name and we were also disappointed because they put too much rice on the sushi. Now, they just had enough rice in it and the avocado and other ingredients tasted fresher.

Yelp
Came in for sushi on a Sunday evening. It wasn't busy or anything. Service is decent since the waitress is attentive. The structure is the same as when it was owned by other people. The interior had a little change by adding a red curtain to where we used to look over for the kitchen. I'm slightly dismayed by that. To the food... I loved that they offered shrimp toast (item that used to be on the dim sum menu in Chinatown years ago). Other appetizers I've tried was the breaded pork chop on rice with sauce. The description is tangy but I felt the sickly sweet more than the tang I was promised. Not ordering that again. Miso soup was disappointing since it was really bland and used firm rather than soft tofu. Their traditional rolls tastes the best (not a big fan of a lot of sauces on my maki). Their nigiri has a decent fish to rice proportion. Other AYCE will give a huge hunk of rice with a thinly sliced fish lol. I'm not sure about coming back since my favorite spider roll and volcano roll is no where to be found on the AYCE menu. Perhaps the poor impression is from the taste of the bleach in the water when we first received the glass. Some warnings... take a whiff before you gulp. I nearly drowned in that pool water. Always be careful with the amount of food you order, they will charge you for rice in appetizers and sushi lol. We asked to make sure about the penalty charged and not allow that to happen. Some other cons will have to be the limit on how much we can order at once. Since three of us ordered on the sheet at once our sushi came in increments instead of all at once. Oh, something memorable was how everyone has to wait for someone to open the door for them. It appears to be locked. We found it interesting when we first arrived because the waitress popped right up to open the door for us. Happy eating :) hope your experience is better than mine!

Ordered salmon roll, fried calamari, and takoyaki through Postmates. Very good sushi and very good deal. Salmon was fresh and generous, and takoyaki was a new experience and was tasty. Calamari was good but mostly breading. It was my first time ordering from here and will definitely be going back.
