"Big news for Orange County: Nếp Café and Kin Izakaya are on the move. The dual Kei Concepts restaurants — some of the busiest, buzziest places in all of OC — are joining forces under the same roof in Irvine at 14346 Culver Drive." - Farley Elliott

I had quite a hectic day at work today, but I made the decision to have dinner here with my coworker. I must say, the atmosphere was absolutely fantastic and it truly helped me unwind and feel relaxed. The evening was filled with delicious food, delightful cocktails, and enjoyable music, making it a truly memorable experience. The service provided was excellent overall, and we had a wonderful time. It was definitely a great way to end the day!

Fantastic Asian fusion food and picturesque setting! Doubling as the new Nep/KIN location in Irvine, the KIN component has gone above and beyond what their predecessor in Fountain Valley started. I came without a reservation in the middle of the week but still got seated quickly. Everything from the appetizer to dessert was amazing. I could go into detail, but everything is so mouth watering that my description wouldn't do the dishes justice, so you should just come check it out for yourself!

Wow, what a beautiful space. Open, modern, intimate, yet intentional. Very clean with a warm ambiance. Quickly greeted, we got checked in. Seated within 5 minutes at 5:30pm on a Friday night without a reservation. I thought the host went to check our table but we were surprised to be seated with a CLEAN high chair, a kid friendly non-breakable bowl and plate, plastic silverware, and a plastic water cup without ice. I said no matter what I’d give this restaurant five stars. But the food was also worth it. It is SO hard to go dine somewhere and they maybe offer 1 of these many things for kids that KIN had all of without even having to ask! Thank you so much for the amazing food and service. Seriously, you’re appreciated, I’m so grateful!

I love Kei concepts restaurants and I’ve tried all of their different places. I am so happy that they open KIN in Irvine. I was so excited to try their new food selections. The best dish is bone marrow and toro maki 🤤The combination of bone marrow and toro in hand roll is heaven. Must try! Their portions are kind of small so be aware. Their service is great! They try their best to make sure your needs are met.

This place consistently tops the charts, and tonight, the matcha tiramisu stole the show! It's unbelievably delicious, not too sweet, with the perfect blend of crunchiness and ice cream balance. Udon is okay, crab salad is solid, and drinks are fine. The server adds to the experience. Oh, the duck chawanmushi is always great, one of my must order! But seriously, the matcha tiramisu is a dessert lover's dream! We didn’t wait to be seated, so that is a plus too.

The food here is delicious! Lovely service also. The duck chawanmushi is a must try! It’s so creamy, just really delicious. I’m also a big fan of their seafood tom kha, uni udon, and chicken skin yakitori. The servers here also helped me pack my food to-go nicely as well. 100% recommended :-)

Love the vibe of the restaurant. Love the food, even though the portions are on the smaller side, but it's all very flavorful and unique tasting.
