Kin Len Thai Night Bites Review - Fremont - Seattle - The Infatuation

"We’d hang out at Kin Len Thai Night Bites just to look around and eat khao soi. The dining room is an impressive showroom of canvas canopies, lounge seating, pink lighting, and large paper umbrellas. With all of the exciting design details, the khao soi is just as exciting—it’s made with braised chicken thigh, thick and spicy coconut broth, and tender egg noodles. If you get this and ignore the rest of the menu, this place is great." - Aimee Rizzo

Tried the lunch special at Kin Len Thai and it was fantastic! The food was fresh and flavorful, and the portion size was just right. On top of that, the service was so good—friendly, attentive, and quick. It made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend for a delicious and easy lunch spot!

The happy hour deals are awesome! Great prices without sacrificing quality. The vibe is fun and casual, perfect for catching up with friends or winding down after work. You have to try the boat noodles rich, flavorful broth and perfectly cooked noodles that hit all the right notes. Easily one of the best Thai spots in town. Highly recommend!

The restaurant is cute! It’s very popular, had better come earlier. They have two types of beef tongue: grill and stew. The grilled one is thin beef tongue, and it tastes crunchy. The stew one is extremely soft, very delicious 🤤 The fried chicken is really good as well! Crunchy and juicy 😋 Recommend the papaya salad too! It’s sour and sweet, very fresh. The boat noodle is rich, but a little too sweet. Overall, Kin Len is great and definitely would love to recommend it!

We had lunch at Kin Lin Thai Night Bites during our visit to Fremont. The lunch set menu was easy to choose from, with clear pictures of each dish — a big plus! I ordered the Phad Thai Curry Set, which came with tofu Phad Thai and chicken red curry served with jasmine rice. Great flavors and good portion size. My husband had the Pork Belly Curry Set with crispy pork belly garlic, a fried egg, and chicken red curry. It was rich, tasty, and very satisfying. Quick service, clean interior, and a nice spot for a casual Thai lunch in Fremont. We'd definitely go back!

The food was great! We arrived at 11:45 on Sunday and were seated right away. The restaurant is spacious. We decided to try the unique Lao Style Papaya Salad and ended up really liking it! The iced coffee was amazing! The service was excellent. Definitely coming back soon!

We went on Monday night around 9 and got seated right away. Happy hour 9 to close, HH menu has good options. I got a beef noodle soup dish, I forgot to take a picture of I was too excited to dig in and it was delicious ! The enoki fritters were interesting in a good way, dipping sauce came with it was so goood ! My husband liked his rice dish as well. We're glad we've finally checked this place out.

Google
Strongly do not recommend this restaurant. We went there based on online recommendations, but maybe it’s gotten too popular and now has quality control issues. The portions were shockingly small — we spent $50 per person for just two people. 1. 2-in-1 Pork Rice: The chicken felt like leftover scraps from other dishes. I’ve never seen such tiny pieces of chicken in any restaurant! We even mentioned it halfway, and although the server brought more, the portion was still just as tiny! 2. Grilled Beef Tongue: I’m not sure if it was undercooked, but most pieces were tough and hard to chew — not tender or crispy at all! 3. The shrimp cake and Uncle Odd’s Flank Red Curry were just average, nothing special. The server only came by once, and when clearing the plates, they even splashed food onto my friend's clothes.

Unfortunately, I can't quite understand the hype. We waited for an hour. The dishes are large and fresh. However, we ordered food that was not supposed to be spicy, but both dishes were incredibly spicy-one of them we couldn't even eat. On top of that, the service wasn't great either, as our drinks were forgotten. When we asked about it, there was no reasonable response or solution offered. In terms of taste, the food didn't convince us either. Overall, we were disappointed.

Yelp
The best Thai restaurant in Seattle. Delicious food and great drinks, fun atmosphere. Check it out!

Yelp
This is some of the BEST thai food I've had, especially the battered chicken red curry that is some of the most tender chicken I've had. There can be a wait as this place is quite popular. The ambiance of the restaurant is super nice, with really cute decor and seating. Celebrated a friend's birthday here and afterwards watched a nice sunset by the waterfront.

Yelp
Really good Thai spot! Came here on a Sunday night around 630 during MLK weekend and wait was 1.5 hours for a party of 7. I'm glad I came with a larger group because we were able to try a lot of different dishes. Crispy rice salad - yum Papaya salad - level 1 spicy was already really spicy for me Larb salad - would skip next time but only because we already ordered two other salads Tom yum - flavorful and came with big shrimps. Just wish the pot was a bit bigger, was hard to scoop soup into the bowl since the ladle was almost as wide as the pot it in came in Pad see ew- probably my favorite dish and they used square rice noodles sheets vs the traditional wide noodles Pad Thai- ok but I usually don't order pad thai, would skip Eggplant - my other favorite dish, 10/10 would order again Love the interior decor and staff are super friendly. Price was reasonable and drinks are yummy! Will defe be back :)

Yelp
Kin Len has the longest happy hour with the best timing in Fremont. Other restaurants nearby are limited to only weekdays or are shorter. Their happy hour menu also has plenty of items I would order. The space is huge, but extremely busy, so it took a while before we could order and add another drink order. Most of our utensils and plates were dirty, so I stuck to using the ones that came with each dish. The sun dried beef was better than expected and soft and tender just like the description said. I didn't need the sauce because there was enough flavor in the beef. Usually beef at other restaurants is too chewy, tough, and/or dry, but this was surprisingly good. The chicken red curry was creamy and otherwise pretty standard, but the amount of rice was generous. I also liked that they use winter melon because I don't know any other restaurants who do. I found that the crispy mussel omelette was way too greasy and lacked eggs for an omelette. There was also barely anything else on it. It was more like a block of crispy, oily fried bits that didn't remain intact enough when I cut into it. Fried pieces were flying everywhere with each cut or bite. The kinlen wings were too big and daunting to eat because they didn't break the drumsticks from the wings off. They're extremely difficult to eat, since they're not typical wings. It doesn't seem like they use that great of chicken either because there was barely any meat on the bones. I also didn't taste any Thai tea flavoring in the Thai tea-ni, but I definitely tasted the lemon/sourness. The sake holder is top heavy, so it spills out too fast.

Yelp
This Thai spot in Fremont is popular for a reason! The vibes and the food are amazing, and they don't skimp on the portions. This is a great spot for a nice dinner or if you're celebrating something. I really enjoyed my meal here. They don't take reservations unless you have a party of 6 or more. For smaller parties, you have to add yourself to the waitlist on the tablet in the waiting area once you arrive. They will only seat you if your full party is there. It's nice they have a waiting area in the front with a good amount of seats. We got there at 5:30pm on a Thursday and waited for 5 to 10 minutes before we were seated. It wasn't that busy yet but as we were leaving, the waiting room was packed and people were even waiting outside. The Tom Yum was amazing, the best one I've had! The broth was so fragrant, flavorful and delicious. The boat noodles and the fried chicken curry were also great. The pad Thai was also solid but wish I tried something else on the menu since they had more interesting things. We were pretty full by the end of the meal and had a good amount of leftovers to enjoy at home. Would definitely come back!

Yelp
My first real meal back in Seattle since when I used to come here in the early aughts. Oh boy, has Fremont changed. Hell, so has the city. But Kin Len is here and one of the best happy hour and Thai spots in the city. In a city with so many Thai restaurants, this is a standout. The spice level is beyond here. I highly recommend going medium the first time you visit. I enjoyed the pad kee mao. My husband loved the kra pao. The drinks were equally good, highly recommend a cocktail. Expect to wait for a table. They only seat when all members are there. NO exceptions. See website for more info. On street parking.

Yelp
The food is really good here. The menus is pretty big and all the dishes are shareable. I would recommend coming with 4-5 people so you can try more of the menu. They have a pretty good happy hour too. The first time I came here it wasn't that memorable but recent trips have definitely stood out. I would highly recommend the battered chicken red curry and the boat noodles here. Hopefully in the future it's open a little later since its called night bites, but recommend for sure.

Yelp
I had the pleasure of trying their Khao Soi, and it was an explosion of flavors. The rich, creamy coconut curry broth, tender chicken, and tender cooked noodles made every spoonful heavenly. It's was delicious!!! To complement the meal, I went for the alcoholic Thai tea cocktail, and it was a game-changer. The familiar sweet and creamy notes of Thai tea, combined with a boozy twist, made it the perfect refreshing drink. I ended up getting a second one! SO GOOD!!!! The atmosphere at Ken Len is vibrant and inviting, making it an excellent spot for a laid-back evening. The staff is super busy to make sure you grab their attention. Whether you're a fan of classic Thai dishes or looking to try something unique, Ken Len Thai Night Bites is the place to be. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Finally got to try here! Every time I try to go on a Saturday evening the place had people standing outside and a waitlist with ridiculous wait times. On this particular Saturday, I went with a friend at around 5pm to beat whatever weekend dinner rush was gonna come up. It was quite empty when we arrived but filled up really fast within an hour, so getting here early is definitely a good idea. Regardless, there's plenty of seating inside and a bar to go along with it. Waitresses were very friendly and I could ask them comfortably about some of the dishes I wanted to try. In my case, I got the battered chicken with ginger rice as the main dish and the banana blossom fries as an appetizer. The chips had a really strong banana taste that I actually loved a lot, and the battered chicken was just right in both tenderness, saltiness and chewiness. The garlic rice and soup added in made the whole meal feel like something from home, which was great given how noisy the inside can be when a ton of people come in. I'd come here again and at almost the same time I did that day to beat the crowds!

Yelp
Came here during happy hour and it was SO YUMMY!!! $9 for curry and egg!!! Oh em gee The service was great. They checked in on us just enough times. The inside is absolutely adorable. Found street parking pretty quick during happy hour on a weekday but I saw there was a garage across the street (unsure of where else you'd park) A great gem in Fremont. I go to school at UW and it is so close to campus and in a pretty neighborhood. Will come back when I need to eat + yap!!!

Yelp
Ate lunch here on a Saturday and really enjoyed it! The menu is kinda large, so there's lots to choose from. Our server was helpful with the recommendations and told us his favorites. We chose a few things between the two of us to share - it's definitely family-style dinimg friendly. The crispy pork in the Tom Yum fried rice was a bit too crispy fried, so we did have to eat it carefully. Everything else was good though. This spot is popular and for good reason. I'd definitely visit again when I'm in Seatte!

Yelp
One of the best Thai places in Seattle! We got the chicken wings with sticky rice, tofu pad thai, and chicken curry and everything was so delicious - Wings: Super crispy & packed with flavor - Pad Thai: Generally been my to-go dish at Thai restaurants and I'd say the one here is my new favorite - sauce had a perfect balance of sweet and savory - Chicken curry: chicken did not feel dry on the inside, curry was rich and creamy!

Yelp
My new favorite Thai restaurant hands down!! If you like Bangrak, this is WAY better. I feel like the quality and effort is there. Their food and flavor is so delicious and I feel like the dish isn't just thrown together. The portion sizes are big and the food comes out SO quick. I cannot wait to try more things on the menu! I love the inside and how it is decorated, it is pretty spacious! Honestly every dish we got was top notch and wouldn't change anything about them! We got - Pad see ew with beef - Tom Yum - "Tom Yum" Crispy Pork Belly Fried Rice - Khao Soi I need to try the phad thai next since that is the true test of any Thai restaurant!

Yelp
I completely forgot about this place and it makes no sense seeing how amazing it is. Their vibe truly lives up to their name. I'm sure this place shines at all times if the day, but it seems to outshine at night. And they do with an all black interior that's decorated with a perfect blend of fun and class. Date night, birthdays, just kicking it, its good for pretty much any ocassion. Their vast menu is impressive without being over whelming. Yet still my eyes and stomach were begging me to order at least 1 or 2 items on every page. I struggled to choose which exotic flavored drink. Half the drinks I've never even heard of such flavor combinations. The first drink I ordered was forgotten about so I ended up picking a different drink when I realized. I choose the Thai tini which was actually a whole knew type of punch flavor. So hard to describe and so delicious. The food was also hard to choose yet very easy for me seeing how their kow soi was priced and made so well. I have a nice line up of thai spots I eat at so I'm getting better at finding those gems on the menu. I don't mean to say the other items on the menu aren't as delicious, but I just know where to get comparable else where. The location and parking situation ain't too shabby either for downtown. Yes it's street parking, but I was able to find a spot ok. Be ware there is a lot of action all around so be ready. Regardless it's so worth it. I'll be back soon. Shout out to who ever was blessed enough to bless us with this restaraunt.

Yelp
Very cute and unassuming place! We loved the battered chicken and red curry! Kra prao was not my fav - I've never had it before so could just be my personal taste. I can understand why it would be good to others!

Yelp
Kin Len Thai Night Bites is a culinary TREASURE in the Ballard/Fremont area. I came in with a few friends and we tried a wide assortment of dishes and every single one was delicious. Outside of the great food, the vibes here are immaculate. It's such a fun place to dine! Super colorful, super fun, and the service is great! For appetizers, we tried the Enoki Fritters, Octopus Carpaccio, and Caramelized Beef with Sticky Rice. The octopus was cooked perfectly and thinly sliced so it was a great texture - I was worried about it being too chewy but it wasn't. This dish is HOOTTT though, so be prepared! The beef with sticky rice was yum and the flavor was great. My favorite app by far was the enoki fritters though! The batter was so light and wasn't greasy at all. Super good. We all got our own entrees but shared bites of everything so that we could give it all a try. I got the Clay Pot Glass Noodles with Prawn and omgggg SO GOOD. The prawns were absolutely massive and cooked perfectly and the noodles were so delicious. I loved whatever sauce they were tossed in and the texture of glass noodles is a favorite of mine. The Wagyu Curry is probably one of the best Thai dishes I have ever had anywhere. The meat was cooked to absolute perfection and the curry was stellar. I 100% will be getting this the next time I come in. Next up that I tried was the Hot Pot Everything and if you know me, what I'm about to say next is shocking... The broth on the Hot Pot Everything might be better than pho broth which is my absolute favorite thing in the world so I was stunned at how much I enjoyed it. The depth of flavor was insaaaane and the meat was cooked so perfectly. This is another one that definitely is on the must order list for the next visit. Last, but certainly not least, we all shared the Mee Krob. Crispy rice noodles with a sweet and sour sauce, garlic, shallots, cashews, and fried tofu. I wasn't sure about the tofu but it was SOOO good! I've never had it cooked that way and it definitely added so much to the dish. It also comes with a side of steamed crab lumps and fried prawns which was deeelicious. I love crab so it was an exciting element to the dish. We had a couple of cocktails too that were tasty. They have a great selection of cocktails, wines, beers, etc. Kin Len is a quick favorite and I can't wait to come back. The only issue will be trying to figure out what to order!

Yelp
Had some pretty good Thai food at this place in Fremont. It has some authentic flavors for not too high of a price. Kin Len isn't open very late though. Just one of the many Asian restaurants around here. The menu has quite a few things for vegetarians including noodles and salads. Even though it mentions night in the name, it's not open especially late. It's kind of a mystery. The name literally means to "eat and play." A lot of the typical stuff you can find. There's all kinds of noodles it seems. Also various salads that have lots more than greens. It's about $12 for the Papaya Salad. Basically it's mostly made up of papaya that's shredded into noodles. This is topped with carrots, garlic, lime, long beans, peanuts, and tomatoes. Got to say it's certainly one of the healthiest places to eat. It's located on Fremont Avenue at 36th Street. There's plenty to get for vegans and vegetarians.

Yelp
I wish I was hungrier when I visited so that I could have ordered more things! Two of us split the grilled pork toro with sticky rice ($12.75) and the uncle odds flank red curry ($22.95). I loved the tangy tamarind sauce that the pork toro came with and the basil added such a nice herby, fresh balance to the tender meat. The uncle odds flank was probably the best steak I've had in a long time. It had such a tasty charred flavor that paired so well with the creamy, only mildly sweet curry base. The steak was cooked so perfectly tender! I'll definitely be visiting again if I am in the Fremont area.

Yelp
This place is delicious and I'm so glad we had a chance to try it, twice! Street parking only. Service is okay, not too slow or fast, nothing out of the ordinary. The space is pretty open and beautifully decorated. We've been to their sister restaurant, Isarn, a few times. It can be pretty busy during peak hours. Lots of natural light coming thru from the windows. Okay let's get to the good stuff! The must order items are their CRISPY CHICKEN WINGS and EVERYTHING BOAT NOODLES. The wings are insanely crispy and packed full of flavor, wow. The best part is that it's cooked all the way through! I went to a restaurant where they served med rare Ck wings and had the audacity to tell me that they can't get it cooked any further. Um what? Never been back to that place again that's for sure psh! Anywhos, it's divine and you must get them if you love chicken wings! This was our first time trying boat noodles and WOW! Blown away by the flavors. 10/10. Get it. I also ordered the tofu pad Thai which I really enjoyed. A tiny bit more overcooked, but not a deal breaker. Overall, everything was good and the dining experience was nice. This place is definitely on our "return to" list of restaurants. Very enjoyable Thai food, for sure.

Yelp
I think kin len is also one of my favorites Seattle Thai spots, comparable with bangrak market and sisikay. I like that there's a lot of seating inside and a really extensive menu, I have been impressed by almost everything. I tried here so far! Recently, I tried the boat noodles, beef for the first time, and I was impressed by how it was like a thai pho, but with stronger seasonings and a ton of meat. However, if it is your first time, I would highly recommend the battered chicken red curry because of the huge portions and creamy curry sauce! Their thai tea is also really good. Not much street parking tbh but good for any size groups
google avatar

Yelp
Such flavorful Thai food, and the perfect place for big or small groups! They don't take reservations, however when you arrive, make sure to sign in on the iPad in the entry way to get on the waitlist for a table. My friends and I were seated pretty quickly, and our food arrived shortly after we ordered. The portions are big, and we all left with leftovers, which is always a plus! I ordered the Phad Khe Mao, which had a great variety of veggies, and was one of the more flavorful versions of this dish that I've had. My friends enjoyed their dishes too, and I tried my friend's curry, which was so rich and not too spicy. One thing to note is that due to the waitlist upon arrival, this is not a spot you can sit and chat for too long after you finish your meal, as they need the table for other guests. There are a variety of dessert places and cafes in the area that you could go to after to chat with friends more.

Yelp
Fremont is one of my favorite neighbors to eat in because it's filled with so many cute restaurants and shops on every corner. This is my first time trying this spot but I've been dying to try it for so long. I loved the decor , the service was great, and the food all tasted really good! It was really hard to choose what to eat because everythingggg on the menu sounded amazing. I would definitely order family style for their dishes; the portion sizes were decent sized. (Plus I love sharing so you can try more things )

Yelp
The food was delicious! It was a long wait for a table, but so worth it because the food came out in less than 15 minutes. I recommend the Thai papaya salad, pad see eiw, and chicken red curry! The meat was crunchy, and the sauces brought flavor to each dish. The attention to ambience sets the mood for a nice, candlelit dinner.

Yelp
If you've fallen upon this review while deciding between places, stop the search and start moving, this is the place you're looking for. You will not regret it. I visited on a Thursday night and the restaurant was lively. We didn't have to wait to be seated but we might have come at a good time plus it was a party of two so it was easy to seat us. From what I could tell at a glance was that every table was filled. I could easy picture this location with a wait on the weekends based on my experience and for this they do have a fairly large seated waiting area. Food was amazing and at these prices you definitely are encourage to order a appetizer for the table. I had the Khao Soi Chicken. Great middle ground since I was in between a noodle dish and a curry dish. I was thoroughly impressed by how smooth the curry was and the generous amount of chicken in the bowl tasted great as well. My friend got Claypot Prawns and Glass Noodle. He really enjoyed his dish as well and I might try that next time I go. For the table we had Crispy Garlic Prawns with Sticky Rice. This tasted amazing. Think honey walnut shrimp taste but massive and much much crispier. Parking was fairly easy. There is a lot of free 2 hr parking around. Right across the street is a residential area so if you can't find a spot on the same street you could probably find something a block in. Interior looked beautiful as well. Definitely coming back here with more friends.

Yelp
I love Thai food and it's one of my comfort asian food. Came here with friends to celebrate a friend's birthday. We came here on a Saturday around 5pm and they have happy hour right before the dinner rush. Got seated as soon as the whole party is here. At the time, it was slow in the restaurants as it was before the dinner rush. When it was time to order, our group had a little miscommunication when ordering so it took maybe 30s longer and immediately you can tell our server was already inpatient written all over her face. The cocktail was ok, nothing really stood out to me even though it was pad-thai inspired. The nuts overpowered everything else in the drink. Papaya salad was decent, wish it was a little more umami with the fermented shrimp paste and more flavorful. The wings on the other hand were decent sized, though the batter was little hard on the outside. Unfortunately I didn't try the stick rice that came with it but it smelled good. My entree, Crispy Pork Belly Phad Prick Gang was quite good. I mean pork belly and some spice, you can't go wrong but nothing phenomenal like flavortown. My friend asked for more napkins because of the chicken wings and it got a little messy using hands. Had to follow up few times and some 10-15minutes later we finally got it. Overall, decent experience and food (minus the little subpar experience with our server).

Yelp
Went on a weekend before dinner rush and during HH. It was not too busy. Got a couple items I've tried before like papaya salad and chicken wings. Papaya salad was good. Forgot that the chicken wing is pretty big! It is a little on the dry side though. The sticky rice that comes with it is also alright. Outside the HH menu, I tried the crispy pork belly phad prick gang. It was tasty and I would get it again! 4 stars for papaya salad and pork belly. 3 stars for the wings. The service this time was also alright. The server was a little rude when we asked if we could keep a menu. She said no with an attitude instead of just nicely mentioning the menu can be found online as well. The vibes of the restaurant is overall a good place to grab food with friends.

Yelp
Looove this place. Such a cute and fun vibe inside and the food is one of the best thai places I have tried in Seattle. There's sometimes a bit of a wait, but it's definitely worth it. Came during their late night happy hour and the deals are pretty good and I definitely want to come back and try different items

Yelp
Despite it being a Tuesday night Kin Len was packed to the brim. My group had made a reservation in advance so once our entire party got there we were shown to our table. The menu had so many tempting options it was hard to decide, but we eventually went with the chicken wings, kao soi chiang mai, and the fried chicken red curry to share. The chicken wings were flavorful and hot, though a bit tricky to eat since they didn't pull apart easily. The khao soi Chiang Mai was delicious, with perfectly cooked noodles and a rich, aromatic curry that wasn't too overpowering. The best dish was by far the red curry because the chicken was super crispy adding a nice contrasting texture to the dish. The curry itself was really good and had some meat extract in it, really enhancing the flavor. For dessert we got the bread and custard which was a great way to end the heavy meal. The bread was light and airy and the custard was not overly sweet. Overall, kin Len is probably the best Thai place I've been to in the greater Seattle area so far.

Yelp
Had a phenomenal late night happy hour date night here! We showed up pretty close to their closing time HH and there was still a lot of people waiting for seats, so we put on our names on the list and walked around outside for ~10min before getting called back. The interior is super stylish and fun for date night- colorful and varied with cultural callbacks to Thai food markets. Everything we tried was delicious- my mouth is watering just going back through these photos. You really can't go wrong with anything on the HH menu, and the pricing is great. We sampled a ton and were super full with leftovers after. In particular I loved the grilled beef tongue, boat noodles, buttery grilled squid, and crispy oyster pancake. The papaya salad was also refreshingly and fiercely spicy. Would have a blast coming back again!

Yelp
Great spot for Northern Thai! I don't often get to see northern Thai food restaurants as much and thought this place delivered a good array of northern cuisine. I liked the ambience that incorporated some street decor while also keeping it cozy with nice colorful cushions. I especially appreciated the pork toro appetizer and red snapper wraps. The chili sauce sides all of these dishes came with were spectacular in brightening up each dish. The squid app was a bit chewy and the curry was a little on the sweet side. Cocktails were interesting concepts, representing Thai dishes. I'd love to come back and try some more of their dishes!

Yelp
Walked in on Monday night for dinner. Wait wasn't too bad and was ~10 mins or so. Easy sign in at the entrance for the waitlist. Good portions for sharing. Food: -pad see ew with beef: soft, fresh tender noodles with delicious sauce and well cooked tender beef. Generous portion. -battered chicken red curry: chicken thighs with red curry. Perfect mix of crunchy chicken with curry with ginger rice. The curry had a little kick but not too spicy. Good creamy curry! -pork belly fried rice: pork was a little dry and hard to chew. However, the friend rice had good flavor and wasn't plain at all! Good portion to share as well. Must try and I will be back when in Seattle again!!

Yelp
Yum! What a yummy Thai spot in Fremont! In town visiting and wanted to grab some food to take to a local brewery in the area. It was during lunch so I was able to order the lunch chicken pad Thai. First off huge portion for the price and tons of chicken! Great flavor! Lunch also comes with soup which I got the egg soup and it was delicious. Nice fast to-.go service and inside the lobby area it is decorated nicely!

Yelp
TLDR: Outstanding service and delicious food. Only con is parking, but after visit here, you won't even recall the inconvenience. Highly recommend their Happy Hour Menu. GENEROUS portions at an AFFORDABLE price. Caution: Watch your step! The restaurant is not well lit, and I almost tripped three times. There was an attempt, but you can never be too careful. - - - - - - Parking was not it here, but the interior decors and tastes served at Kin Len were so worth it! My friend and I visited for Happy Hour after 9pm. Though we only had about an hour to eat, it was so tasty that the dishes were gone well within that time. Their menu is available via QR code, and the staff are very attentive and patient with service. We started off with drinks, and i had their Lao Me Lao My. This was a bit tasty, but didn't go well with the strong tastes of Thai food. For entrees, we ordered their Happy Hour Boat Noodles (Everything), Mieng Lemongrass Wraps, Chicken Red Curry, and Pineapple Mussel Curry. Boat Noodles (Everything) - A good portion even for happy hour. Very bold broth, though a tad on the saltier end. Very tasty and tender meat, but the broth would be too salty to drink. Mieng Lemongrass Wraps - Tangy with hints of honey and spices, textures ranged from brittle peanuts to crab (imitation?) to crisp onions and even soft lemongrass. Overall, this was my favorite and an amazing appetizer. Chicken Red Curry - Very sweet, definitely on the sweeter end of most curries, and chicken was cooked just right, not too tender but not overcooked. Pineapple Mussel Curry - A similar sweetness to the red curry, but much better balanced out with the rice.

Yelp
Looking for a place that has it all? Truly look no further than Kin Lens. My friend and I had visited 2 years ago and had THE best time. We were back in Seattle reminiscing and literally dug though all of our account photos to find an old picture that had a location tag so we could visit again. Again, they blew us out of the water with the ambiance, service and amazing food. I usually live by phone eats first rules, but it came out piping hot and smelling soo good we just dug in! Our entire group enjoyed the mushrooms, fried papaya, pad thai, fried rice and wings. The portions are huge, so keep that in mind while ordering. We can't wait for our next trip to Seattle to visit again.

Yelp
This place has the best Thai food we've ever tried!! Our local Seattleite friends first introduced us to Kin Len, and it was so good we came back during our next visit to Seattle. We stopped by on a summer Thursday evening around 8pm, and had to wait about 15 minutes. This time we ordered the Battered Chicken Red Curry and Pad Khe Mao with beef: Battered Chicken Red Curry (5/5): Crispy and well-seasoned deep-fried chicken thigh pieces aggressively smothered in a generous inundation of savory red curry. The batter is all gnarled and textured to maximize the crispness, although you do have to finish it fast or else the curry drenching will eventually turn the chicken soggy. I'm personally not a big fan of Thai curries, but this red curry's flavor profile delicately balanced the coconut notes, Thai spices, and creaminess well. The dish comes with a lot of ginger rice too. Pad Khe Mao (5/5): This is always my default dish at any Thai food place, and it'd be blasphemous to mention any others in the same sentence as this one! This plate of drunken noodles has some serious wok stir-fry flavor, with each ingredient slapping you in the mouth with a blistering smoky and savory profile. I like how big the onions, tomatoes, and bell peppers are cut, which add a fresh crunch in each bite. The fresh chilis impart a serious uppercut punch of heat, even for my high spice tolerance -- they are not playing around with the spice levels here! The beef wasn't chewy and the basil component wasn't overpowering either. Service was friendly, and I like the modern, clean club-like interior with the neon-pink Kin Len logo too. A must-visit if you're anywhere around the Fremont area!

Yelp
Visited Seattle and went to this place during lunch on a holiday weekend for 4. Waited 40min but had inside wait area that was air conditioned. Very popular restaurant. Thai food was tasty but mid, considering the wait and price. Favorites were the chicken wings, but the sticky rice side was so hard. I think it's worth going once!

Yelp
Stopped by Kin Len Thai to pick up some carry-out for the fam. Ordered the Crab Fried Rice, Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, and Battered Chicken Red Curry. Everything was incredible! The Battered Chicken Red Curry absolutely was the highlight. This dish was a a delight to the senses, offering a wide mix of textures that made every bite enjoyable. The fried chicken was perfectly cooked - crispy on the outside while staying tender and juicy inside. Then you combine that with the creamy and mildly spicy curry poured over the chicken, offering a flavor that was intense - but that's what the rice is for. The portion of chicken was generous too. While it was a bit on the greasy side, it only added to the indulgence for me ;D

Yelp
Came on a weekend around 4pm and this spot was busy! There was a bit of a wait but we were able to get seated with 3 people. I came here once before and had to come again and take my mom to try this spot out! Ambiance here is really nice! Love the aesthetic and they also do really cool drinks here! Service was friendly and checked in with us every once in awhile. Food: + Octopus appetizer - soo tasty and has a good kick to it. + coconut and corn salad - very refreshing and flavorful + chicken wings - crispy and so good! + Hot pot everything - love the broth! We got it with the instant noodles! + custard bread - not too sweet and a nice way to end the meal Overall, highly recommend this spot! Everything I've had here has been so good!

Yelp
How I heard of this place: I was invited to a Yelp Elite Gold/Black Badge event here a couple of months ago and haven't stopped thinking about it! When family and friends from out of town were visiting, we made it happen. Type of cuisine: "Word-by-word translation means "eat and play". At Kin Len, we would love for our guests to eat and enjoy, bring family or just enjoy a cocktail by yourself or hang out with friends, maybe even make some new ones here. We are thrilled to be a part of the Fremont Neighborhood. Come join us for small or larger bites, your choice! Don't pass up on our amazing Regional Thai-inspired crafted cocktails, delicious bites, and a chill vibe all on its own." The cuisine revolves around authentic Thai Street Food. Amazing quality, fresh and spicy, just like when we were walking around Bangkok's night market. Ambiance: Enter a space that is filled with colorful Thai-inspired decorations. It looks cozy and sweet, with it's lobby seating for the waiting crowds, and flags strung across and overhead. But don't be fooled by the tiny nook that welcomes you. Inside, the restaurant is expansive, huge and vast. Seating feels intimate, as there are so many spaces for tables/chairs that each "room" feels smallish. Inside, it's dark and loud (music and bustling patrons) and the smell of food glorious. Each menu item is sure to entice all of the taste buds. What I ordered: On this visit, I deferred to my guests, but offered a few recommendations as well. We started with Kin Len Wings with Sticky Rice - Lightly breaded full jumbo wings, sticky rice, spicy tamarind dipping sauce, and fried squid/calamari. Our main dishes included Battered Chicken Red Curry (khao-mun-kai-tod) - deep fried chicken thighs topped with house red curry, served with fragrant ginger rice; Phad See Eiw - Wide rice noodles stir-fried at the highest ame possible for that smokey flavor, cooked with egg, Chinese broccoli and your choice of chicken, pork or tofu; we selected beef for an additional $1; and a spicy Tom yum goong/soup. Our desserts were the famous and popular Durian Tiramisu and mango sticky rice. What I loved: The mango from the sticky rice dish was perfectly sweet, perfectly orange and the best burst of sweet flavor after our rich and decadent meal. I especially enjoyed the spicy soup on this visit. My all-time favorite continued to be the Battered Chicken Red Curry. Why I loved it: The ambiance is fun and lively, the food rich and flavorful, and the vegan/vegetarian options a great addition to serve all dietary needs. Cost: High

Yelp
Every time I come to Kin Len it's pretty packed. If you have a big group you should make a reservation ahead of time! My favorite time to come is during their Happy Hour because they have food and drinks on the HH menu. I've come a few times so here are my takes on their dishes... - Boat Noodles: 3/5, a little bland - Beef Tongue: 5/5 - Chicken Red Curry: 5/5, my favorite especially with vermicelli - Kin Len Wings: 4/5, really good but a lot to get through!

Yelp
This place is SO good! I love how it's decorated inside. There a tons of food options and drinks too! I started with a Thai tea which was pretty sweet but really tasty! We went for the fried banana as an appetizer and split the pineapple fried rice and the battered chicken curry! Portions were huge and definitely enough food for 3 people.

Yelp
~$80 after tax and tip for two drinks and one regular dish + three happy hour dishes. Environment is great, options are great and quality of food is great - just service and timing are lacking. We waited 45 minutes for food after ordering. Very busy for a late Tuesday night, which we both as service workers understand for high-traffic nights, but we were barely checked on. They were pretty quick about getting our drinks out, at least. Which were both amazing. Loved the (non happy-hour) pad see ew. Jerky was an interesting take on laotian sin savanh that I haven't experienced before - I'm probably just ignorant to the regional variants on this dish. Beef tongue and squid were excellent. Just sucked to be ignored for most of the night. +1 star for fish pillow lol

Yelp
We visited on a Friday at around 6 PM and waited about 30-40 minutes. For drinks, we ordered the Mango Mangrove and Lao Me Lao My - both were absolutely delicious! Despite the crowd, our food arrived quickly and was very fresh. For appetizers, we had the grilled calamari and shrimp cakes, both of which were flavorful and delicious. For the main course, I had the 2-in-1 pork rice, and my fiancé had the battered chicken. The stew/sauce in the 2-in-1 dish was excellent, and the pork was very tender. The chicken was crunchy and equally delicious. This place is 100% worth the hype. The food was amazing, and the service was fast and friendly. We're looking forward to visiting again!

Yelp
Got here on a Friday night and there was a long wait but we still got seated before closing. FYI last call here really means last call - including alcohol. The interior is so cute and looks like you're in Thailand at a night market. Lots of seating. Service is friendly and good. I think this was the best pad thai I've ever had. It was perfect. The spicy octopus carpaccio was also so good. But I recommend you take off all the toppings if you cannot handle crazy spice. It's that spicy. Everything was so good and the next time I'm in town, I want to go and try all the other dishes.

Yelp
Food was amazing!! Creative Asian cocktails with a Thai twist, couldn't pick just one but went with the mango sticky rice cocktail. My friend I shared pad Thai and crab fried rice, presentation is great and portion is huge! Def a wait if you come during dinner rush, but if you're ok with bar seating you can get served faster! Need to come for happy hour:)

Yelp
This spot does not miss with the flavors! The food here was so delicious that I wonder why it took me so long to get here. The wait on a Friday evening was at least 30 minutes, but definitely less than an hour long during my visit. The waiting area is not that small but it can get very crowded during busy times. There were 4 of us in our party so we got to try many dishes, each one was amazing. Starting with the river prawns pad thai, I think this one is a must order. I don't usually order pad thai but it was so flavorful that you can't resist. The spicy octopus carpaccio was my favorite of the night. The spicy lime dressing was bomb af!! Cocktails were pretty good as well. It seems that they rotate some of them seasonally and honestly I have a hard time trying to pick just one to order. The real star of the show was the durian tiramisu. I will be thinking of the next time that I can visit just to have this tiramisu again. Kin Len will definitely not be seeing the last of me.

Yelp
A Thai and a Vietnamese-Chinese walk into a restaurant and are pained to write this review. One saw this on Instagram ; the other likes Isarn, so we were very excited only to be disappointed. The salted crab papaya salad was a "our moms make it better (why such thick shreds??)" and the pork belly with Chinese broccoli was a "I should've waited until we got to a Chinese place to fulfill my craving." The durian tiramisu had the potential to be life changing but ended up being watery and powdery. The atmosphere was nice; maybe we just got the wrong dishes.

Yelp
It was a beautiful experience unfortunately for the terrible customer service we received, otherwise it would have been a 5 star review.. delicious food good ambient but the lady that was helping us, long bleached hair never asks us if we wanted something to drink, we didn't get chopstick until we're getting our last food to go which I did ask her about things all she said I'm sorry and walked away.. everyone around us getting great service for this lady not sure what her deal was but again we keep getting ignored. Anyway definitely coming back and not have her help us

Yelp
Super cool spot- nice vibes in the waiting area. They didn't give us a menu but were quick and ready to take our order. Prompt at bringing out foods and extra sauce when requested. Loved the lychee martini and their curry. Wasn't a big fan of the bodies with the curry but loved their sticky rice. The clay pot glass noodles with prawn was delicious- great kick to the sauce and perfectly cooked prawns. The pad se ew was good. The beef jerky was okay but much better dunked in the side sauce and with the cilantro. Really enjoyed their Thai tea too- I'd have it again.
