Kin ramen

There was already a line outside before dinner time is open. We thankfully made it there while the line was short since they do not take reservations. The food was so so flavorful. I loved everything we ordered. I definitely could see why they are so popular. Food 10/10! The atmosphere was dim lit. I like the decorations but the music was way too upbeat. Felt like esting inside a club. Staff were very efficient and fast and kind. Always came by to refill our water when its low.

The weather around NYC was so cold and snowing will coming soon but I choose KIN RAMEN Japanese Restaurant for our dinner... We comes for the 1st time , busy inside but no Q and not waiting too long... the atmosphere was cozy and warm.. the information she so nice , the staffs (Servers and Bartender) are friendly and good service (great attitude) she advices and explains for the food. The Cocktails so incredible, the location closed to Subway F and M train, walks to Restaurant 3 - 5 mins ..love ❤️ will be back soon.

This is my second time here this week and I love this place. I got the Kara kaisen ramen added pork chashu, corn and soft boils egg (it’s a spicy seafood ramen). Ordered the soft crab shell buns both times and tried the seafood bites. The desert is a must it’s DELICIOUS. It’s not overly sweet nor super earthy due to the matcha ice cream. The cocktails are great I personally like the yare yare. The staff is AMAZING, atmosphere AMAZING, decor AMAZING. Made me feel like I was back in Japan. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!

Had a celebration dinner at Kin Ramen about a week ago and it was great! The wait was about 30 mins, but they are super efficient at clearing tables and getting you inside. I was surprised by how quickly we were in front of the line. I have several food allergies and Linda, our server, was very kind and explained which dishes I could have. We left full and happy!

This is by far my favorite ramen spot in the city! Their service is second to none and the atmosphere is cozy and warm just like their bowls of ramen. Few places prepare the pork chashu the way they do and you can taste it immediately! Every item I have tried here is so delicious and is packed with flavor that it is impossible to make a bad choice. I have been here so many times and it is great to see that they are consistent with their dishes tasting incredible every time. Don’t skip the one item they have on the dessert menu either! The matcha lava cake is the perfect way to end your time here. I highly recommend this place!

I originally visited in 2023 summer and went back in 2025 winter. Everything is 'ok'.. I didn't leave a review in 2023 as it was a normal ramen shop with no line and nothing had stood out, but given the extremely long line in 2025, wanted to leave a review for my future reference and others. I personally wouldn't stand in line for the food. The decor is cute and Instagramable, but the food is ok (plenty of options in NYC) and the service is extremely rushed. Every staff is rushed to get people in and out the door (given the line outside, I get it) but it's not a pleasant dining experience. We had 4 people in our party and 2 dishes came out significantly ealier than the other 2 dishes. Given the usual decency to wait for the rest of the table to get their food, by the time we all got our food, ramen was already cold. The wait staff also came to ask if they can take the food away 3 times while we were eating. My friend decided to stop eating after being asked 3 times. If there are no lines and probably no rush, it's an ok ramen place for a quick meal. If there are lines outside, expect being rushed+ I personally don't think it's worth the wait.

First time in NY, we needed lunch. I looked over top spots and found this place. The reviews looked and sounded great. Line was out the door. We had 4 people in our party and a stroller. We waited around 45 min for a table. The stroller was for our french bulldog, they were very pet friendly. We ordered a cucumber salad, everyone enjoyed that. I had the Kara Kin ramen. Added octopus and egg. Was a 10 out of 10. Absolutely amazing. 2 others had the same ramen, loved it. One ordered a chicken dish, he wish he had ramen but he did enjoy his food. Ginger tea was also amazing. I would highly recommend this place.

Food coming out so fast.We ordered the Kin ramen,Tori curry don,corn cheese, and yakiniku.we waited there almost 20 mins at outside but pretty fast and quick service .Here is more details for food. Ramen is pork broth but I tasted like pork flavor more and nothing crazy for that.I really like the sweet cheese corn ,may be I am a lover of cheese. Beef has lot of fats ,oily and I feel we didn’t eat nothing that much .at least still delicious.Service, they are busy at all but take care for us .

Me and my mom decided to stop here for dinner and it was amazing! Line out front only took 10 mins and we got a table. Drinks were super cool and unique, I recommend the meowjito! I got the Soy Veggie ramen and it was absolutely delicious. Vibes/Food/Service was 10/10

FOOD Delicious! I consider myself an expert, visit Japan often, live where there's beaucoup Ramen shops (Honolulu). It's a staple in my pantry. Ramen was hot, noodles thin and chewy, included all the ingredients (black garlic oil, ginger, spiciness) no extras needed to buy. The OMG chasu pork was the best I've ever had. 3 bite size melt in your mouth CHARCOALED pieces which added to the flavoring of the broth. Gyoza was small but flavorful and nicely crisp. Sapporo cold in chilled glass. Portions were on the small size but enough for us old people. All hit the spot after a long trek from Seattle on a cold winter day. SERVICE Staff super efficient and friendly which helped to move the long line. No labor shortage present. AMBIANCE What a great stumble upon after experiencing unsuccessful attempts of long lines and/or closures at other popular establishments on New Years Day. Line was 15 deep but moved fast. Space was very tight, quaint, homey and felt like you're in Japan with its decor. We lucked out with a table versus wall counter on the first floor. Table basket for your bag or winter coats. Love this feature! OVERALL If lived in NYC - this would be one of my hangouts.

Kin Ramen has a very nice interior that is well decorated and fantastic date night ambiance. The spacing is a bit cramped though, so expect to be seated right next to another party. The food itself I felt like was a little bit hit or miss given what we ordered. The miso I was surprised by because of how sweet it was. I know certain styles have a sweeter miso, but I just felt like the rest of the dish didn't really do much to match the sweeter broth, they just used a standard set but gave it a sweet broth that didn't match. The Kin Ramen and chicken nikuman, on the other hand, were fantastic. Really full flavors that utilized every element and had great texture in each bite. Overall great spot, I would definitely recommend getting the Kin Ramen.

The music at Kin is as jarring as blasted club music from someone's car that wakes you up in the middle of the night; you hope the car will pass quickly but it doesn't because it's stuck in traffic so you're stuck listening to someone's inconsiderate thumping bass as your building vibrates. Don't visit Kin if you are over 30 or care about your hearing. It's 4:30pm on a January Sunday. I just want warming ramen; I didn't realize I was visiting a club. The staff noted the music would be like this all day. It was such a relief to leave this business. If the streets of Midtown are significantly quieter than your dining establishment, you need to reconsider your highly unwelcoming vibe. The hostess and other staff were not friendly. I tried different seats but there was no escape because there are speakers on every wall. In a studio apartment sized space with a low ceiling this just amplifies the music. I tried ear plugs, it still wasn't enough to mitigate the music and I had a headache after leaving this place. I understand the capitalistic economics of $20 bare bones ramen with $5 add-ons, $20 drinks and the desire to get people in and out within an hour because you're definitely not going to linger in conversation or over tea at this place. This business is to be avoided; they do not deserve your money.

Kim Ramen is a great stop for lunch if you want ramen. The downstairs is a tight squeeze but they do have an upstairs apparently. The furniture is interesting as you are sitting on like wooden boxes almost with no back support. As for the food, I had the edamame for starters which you can't really mess up edamame. I also had warm sake which went down smooth. For the main event, I tried the chicken ramen which was good. The broth was tasty but the chicken wasn't really seasoned. The chicken needed to be eaten with the broth. The vegetables and noodles were delicious as well. Also work on your chopsticks skills because you get chopsticks and a wooden spoon thing. For what you get it is expensive but it is the city and 56th street. I would come here for lunch again.

I've always been impatient and left because of the wait, but last night (when it was freezing), my friend persuaded me to wait for 15 minutes...and I'm glad he did. The tables are small but it's a cozy space inside. Service was quick and our glasses were never empty. I had the Kara Chicken, salmon tataki and sake (my friend had the Kara Kin) and we loved every bit of it. Light, mild sweet heat with delicious chicken chashu (which is such a hard thing to find IMO) and a perfect chew on the noodles. We enjoyed the salmon tataki as well, which is lightly seared medium rare salmon belly with a spiced mayo dressing.

All right this place was just adorable. It felt like the restaurants you see in videos from Japan. You walk in and the staff greets you and finds you a table. The tables are small and the place is small but it totally just fits the vibes from Japan. We decided to sit at the bar and the bartender there was so nice and attentive and knew what to recommend. No we learned since we were staying right next-door that if you go during the day, there's no line but as soon as it's sundown, the line goes down the block. It was very cold in New York that day so soup is definitely what we wanted and this was known as one of the staples there in New York. I got the beef broth with pork and the spicy sauce on the side. Let me tell you it was phenomenal. You have to order it. We also got the pork belly bao buns and they were delicious. We did want to drink so we got some sake, and it was a cold one and very nice as well. The portions are a good size I can say I had to take at least half or more of my soup home. But overall would definitely come back to this restaurant when I visit again.

Kin is a gem of a spot nestled in the basement of a manhattan building. You might have to wait outside for a bit, but if you are lucky enough to get a seat then you are in for a phenomenal meal. After going to The Rockettes Christmas special we were lucky enough to stumble across this place, and it was the perfect thing for a freezing cold day. Come in and slam a Sapporo with some outstanding ramen, you won't regret it. I've never had curry ramen before, but it was an excellent choice. The broth was incredibly flavorful, and the katsu was nice and crispy. Their apps are also great. A+ dumplings and karaage. A worthy stop among the tourist traps of manhattan.

This place is such a vibe. We were seated immediately at the bar area. For a table you'd need reservations especially for a large party. We ordered Hot sake Sashimi salad Gyoza Kin Ramen The sashimi salad was phenomenal. It has a vinegar flavor, the pieces of sashimi were big and it all worked so well together. Gyoza was tasty, the pork flavor was delicious and it was dense in the best way possible. Kin ramen was fantastic. We got a soft boiled egg but order it as it came. Noodles were u like any other I've had. The absolute perfect chew, broth was so flavorful. There was 3 pieces of Chashu, so I could see getting extra next time. Hot sake was nice for the cold cloudy day. Service was absolutely fantastic. Staff was friendly

I was in town for a conference and had an evening free, so I decided to try something new. I ordered a bao bun and a miso ramen, with egg. Really good food and I wish I had a couple of extra stomachs just so I could try more! Can't wait to come back and do just that!

Another hidden gem in Midtown! Great ramen spot, noodles, broth, and toppings were on point. Usually a little bit of a wait, but there's an upstairs and downstairs so plenty of seating. Highly recommend the regular tonkotsu ramen and try one of their unique drinks!

My friend and I came here the other night for dinner and it did not disappoint. It was packed when we arrived around 6:15pm and they don't take reservations. Also, as a note, your whole party must be present before they seat you. They have both an upstairs and a downstairs area of the restaurant. It's a tiny space, but very cozy and inviting with a great and colorful drink menu and an excellent food menu, with lots of options. The service was great, and even though they were very crowded, they didn't rush us or force us to leave once we finished, which we really appreciated. For food, we started with the ube tempura which came with three different dipping sauces and the veggie gyoza and they were both delicious. We each ordered ramen; I got the veggie and my friend got the chicken kare one and we both enjoyed them. They were great portion sizes and packed with flavor. I would definitely come back here again!

What a cute little spot we found in Manhattan. It is a small space in which they try to cramp everyone in, so if you're claustrophobic, just be warned. Reminded me of a small ramen joint we found in Kyoto which only seated about 8-10 people, although this restaurant sat more than that number. With that said, the ramen and other dishes tasted pretty authentic. They were efficient with everything especially the seating, but we didn't feel rushed. The hustle and bustle of the city can make you feel worn out, so Kin Ramen was a good spot to chill for a bit. Ordered the Gyudon which consists of thinly slice beef w/onions on top of- what else- rice! Loooved how tender the beef was. Probably in my top 5 gyudon dishes I've tried. Tasted the (kin) ramen broth as well which was really flavorful and not too salty. We also had the gyoza which was fried to perfection. Thoroughly enjoyed our meals here at Kin Ramen. Check them out if you're looking for great ramen in the city!

Amazing!!! One of the best bowls of ramen I've ever had! The broth was rich and flavorful, the noodles perfectly chewy, and the toppings fresh and generous. We tried the Shio Truffle and Kin Kara Kin--both were incredible. The place is small, so there's usually a waiting line, but it's absolutely worth it!

Honestly was one of the most authentic ramens I've had in NY. The taste was very good and makes me wish the serving size was bigger. The staff gets to you as fast as they could but they are very busy and there is a long wait for entry. For ambience you really get a feel as to what is like to eat ramen in jp if you ignore the being seated at tables part.

Upstairs at Kin Ramen is the place to be! Stumbled upon Kin since I was staying next door at the Thompson Central Park. We arrived later in the evening and was seated right away. Immediately upon entering you are transported into a beautiful Japanese courtyard. The atmosphere really does set the stage for a fantastic meal. The ramen and appetizers were great and the cocktails were unique. Would definitely love to come back and warm up on another bowl.

A pretty good spot to get ramen near Columbus Circle. My brother got the chicken ramen and I got the kin ramen. The chicken ramen soup flavor was light and reminded me of shoyu. The kin ramen soup was tonkotsu based and had a little sprinkle of gold flake on top. It tasted not too oily , paired well with the thin ramen noodles and came with 2 pieces of chashu. For dessert, we got the matcha lava cake and it was okay. Quite pricey for a small cupcake and one scoop of ice cream but it's a given for dining in the city. Lava cake was very moist, almost like fudge cake. Wished the matcha flavor was stronger for the ice cream. We were seated in the middle where the tables have beer crates below it. It wasn't very comfortable as you either had to sit with your knees right up against the crates or a sumo stance to sit closer to the table as the tables are on the smaller side. There was EDM or rave music playing in the background which was an interesting choice...

Super yummy ramen close to Central Park! My chashu was a bit tough but the bowl of kin kara ramen was super yummy. I ended up eating all of the noodles and drinking the broth like a slob because I enjoyed it that much. The ambiance is to die for -- really a special place! And the karaage was wonderful too. You can tell they've put a lot of thought and care into the tactical and visual experience of the place, from the seating to the decor even down to the comic book style drink menus. We loved it!

This place is so beautiful and cozy inside. I loved the vibes. I got the regular kin ramen. The noodles and broth were good. I felt the pork had a bad aftertaste and the texture just felt off. I took one bite of it and couldn't finish the rest of the pork. I would definitely come back and try their cocktails which looked fun and delicious

The tori karaage was some of the best I've had! Really delicious and flavorful even without the sauce, but all the more well enjoyable with their trio of ponzu, spicy mayo, and wasabi mayo. The ramen honestly was just ok... but we maybe didn't order the right thing! We tried the curry ramen and spicy chicken ramen which were both on the plain side, without the usual depth of flavor we love in a great ramen bowl. We probably would try the signature tonkotsu ramen if we came back again.

Overall a pretty good ramen place in NYC! - Spicy pork belly ramen: 10/10 (great, but I wish the broth was hotter and spicier. Liked the texture of the noodles though!) - Salmon don: 9/10 (yummy salmon slices and loved the sauce in the rice.) - Kara-age: 9/10 (yummy, but a bit too small in portion size.) Vibes were very cute-- almost like an izakaya-type vibe. Service was good too!

We stopped by Kin Ramen on a rainy evening, arriving around 6 PM and thankfully didn't have to wait for a table. The cozy atmosphere felt like the perfect place to warm up with a bowl of ramen. We started with the sashimi salad, which was fresh and well-prepared, though it didn't particularly stand out. The portion size was fair, and the tangy dressing added a nice touch. As for the yakiniku, the beef was tender and flavorful, but I found it a little too salty, which overshadowed the otherwise enjoyable dish. The kaisen ramen was solid - comforting and rich without being overly heavy. The seafood toppings were fresh, but the broth could have used a bit more depth to elevate the flavors. The service was fine - efficient but not overly attentive. The restaurant has a casual, no-frills vibe, and the small space can feel a bit cramped during busier hours. Overall, Kin Ramen is a decent spot if you're in the area and craving Japanese comfort food. While the dishes didn't blow us away, they were satisfying, and the convenience of no wait on a rainy evening made it worth the visit.

Kin Ramen's high yelp score is justified. Everything about it - really nice vibe and atmosphere, pretty girls working there, and the food is delicious. pork bun, chicken katsu, and ramen - all delicious. Def will recommend Kin to ppl coming to NYC and looking for Ramen.

Long lines but they go fast! Kin Ramen is a great spot to take friends, the vibes are fun and energetic. Kin Ramen is probably the only restaurant I know that has it's own "lore," in that their drinks menu is also a short original manga. The ramen isn't out of this world, but the quirky interior and good service makes for a pleasant experience.

The chicken ramen was super delicious with cilantro and bok choy and sprouts. The broth was so good and I slurped up every drop. Noodles were al dente and tasted great. Server was nice. Sweet and quick. I did not have a drink besides water. They have chilled water in small glass pouring bottles and you get a glass to pour it in. This is a nice change from all the plastic everywhere at other cafes. Seating was on an aluminum stool which was not great for me but there were tables for two in the middle. This is a no frills place to get a perfectly warm bowl of delicious ramen. I hope to go back and taste the pork version!

Really loved the ambiance of this little ramen shop, they decorated it as if you are in Japan and in a traditional garden. Kin means gold in Japanese, so interestingly my kin ramen had a small gold colored piece in it. The ramen itself was tasty, especially the pork and the broth. I wish the noodle was a bit softer though, but just me. We also ordered the tofu appetizer, love, love, love!! If you ever want an epic delicious appetizer, topped of with mouth watering sauce, you have to try it. Service here was pretty good. Multiple servers helped us with order, adding water, and etc.

I came here on a Saturday night around 6:30pm and was quoted a 15 minute wait (I was third in line), but it ended up only taking about 5 minutes. They have a downstairs and upstairs area. The upstairs was decorated really nicely, with lanterns and plants. I ordered the curry ramen (8/10) which came with katsu and half of an egg. The broth was not spicy at all, which I didn't mind (though there was a chili pepper on the menu for this item. Overall, it was pretty solid though I felt like the broth lacked some depth. A great spot to stop by if you're in the area.

I came on a Sunday afternoon with a party of 2 and was seated after 10 minutes. The line was quite long so I was excited to check this out. Immediately when I walked in, the atmosphere was really calm and the decor was cozy. I ordered the Kin Ramen, the noodles were thin and boiled to a soft texture. For the broth, it was a bit on the salty side and I felt the flavor of the toppings didn't quite complement each other. The radish had a spice, whereas the bamboos were salty . Although I did enjoy the chashu.

Food was good but nothing special... solid 3/5. I had the chicken ramen. Soup was light and good for cold weather but not too heavy. The decor was very intimate and lively. Id recommend to order spice on the side so you can add as needed and share with others.

Amazing Experience at Kin Ramen Kin Ramen in NYC exceeded all my expectations! The location is perfect--right in the heart of the city near my boyfriend's office. The decor is so homey, feels like you stepped into a hole in the wall place in Japan. I visited with my boyfriend, and we ordered the seasonal sesame noodles and the signature Kin Ramen. Both dishes were absolutely delicious! The sesame noodles were perfectly balanced with a rich, nutty flavor, and the Kin Ramen was pure comfort in a bowl--savory, flavorful, and just what we needed. The service was excellent, and they have little hooks to store your bags under the seats. Highly recommend Kin Ramen for anyone looking for quality ramen with great presentation. Slightly over the typical price you would pay for ramen but definitely worth it.

Nearing the end of what turned into an epically long walk from Dumbo in Bkln, over the bridge, and all the way up Bdwy to 56th, we got hungry. It was about 830 and we threw a dart and walked into Kin Ramen. I got the Kin bowl with pork, she had the creamy vegetarian bowl. Both were so delicious we looked forward to eat in there again halfway through the meal. Service was thoughtful, observant, coordinated, immediate, honorific. They provided crates, table-side, for people to put their bags in so the bags wouldn't have to sit on the floor! RR was very clean. Hope to go again, such good luck finding this place.

5 stars overall for food, ambience, and service. Entering a little Japanese village and seared along storefronts, Kim Ramen serves up great plates of food ranging from seafood ( sashimi, uni, etc) , hot and cold apps, cocktails and of course, their ramen. Kin Ramen- their signature ramen was hearty and filling, all the flavors melding into a rich broth. The charsu pork was tender and flame broiled. Extra for the egg. Chicken shoyu ramen- a lighter broth with dainty umami flavor that was just as filling and flavorful. Pork charsu bun- glazed with just the right amount of sauce, one per order. Flavorful and broiled perfectly. Sashimi salad: tuna and salmon in a bed of salad dresses with yuzu dressing. Soo good! Cocktails: umai and their yuzu cucumber cocktails were mixed and done well, great accompaniments to our food. Our service was attentive, friendly and prompt, and water glasses filled every so often. Casual and cozy ambience especially with their well decorated interior. Restroom is big and clean and airy. Would come back!

Nice ramen spot near midtown Manhattan. The indoor decor is very nice and warm with Japanese themed furnishings. We had a large party that night and the restaurant was accommodating and the food came out without much delay. I always appreciate this aspect of service. As for the food, we tried several starters as well as different ramens. Takoyaki, chicken karaage, geso age, and salad were all delicious. The ramen noodles were cooked well and very aromatic with the thick tonkotsu broth. I personally ordered the truffle shio ramen and...I didn't like it as much as I thought I would; it was good, but just didnt think the small amount of truffle really made much of a impact on me. Still, so many types of ramen and it's nice to experience all different interpretations of it.

This might be my favorite ramen spot in the city. We got the Katsu curry, kin ramen, and squid legs, and also dessert. The curry was ok but the ramen, squid legs, and dessert (chocolate lava cake) were really good and highly recommend. There was some wait but about 30 min around 6:30 on a Friday. Would defiantly come back!

I think this is one of the top ramen places in NYC (and apparently Lisa from BlackPink also came here). They provide top quality ramen: Ive had their signature spicy Kin Ramen twice and they never disappoint. The price can get quite expensive if you start adding stuff (like boiled eggs, extra bamboo etc), but if you still crave a good quality bowl of Japanese ramen, this place could be it. Nothing exceptional about service but the decor was well-done. It makes you feel like you are at a local pub in Japan. But more than anything, I think the food quality alone makes the place worth a visit.

Ordered pork broth ramen and the soup was the only positive aspect of my meal. What didn't I like? Hated the stool/table combo. Awkward and uncomfortable. Thin ramen noodles like tangled was. Irritating music. $61 for two bowls with tax and tip.

Great service and food without a wait. We went with a little one and they had kids plate/cup and were very patient. The standouts for me were the chicken skins (crispy, flavorful, unique), cheesy corn (perfect balance of sweet corn and chewy cheese), takoyaki (yummy dough, fresh squid). The ramen and chashu pork were good and solid. The interior of the restaurant was cozy and felt like it was very authentic.

Very atmospheric restaurant in midtown. There's two floors, and sitting upstairs totally felt like I had transported to a small izakaya in Japan. I got their kin ramen (signature) which was made with pork broth and two slices of chashu. I loved how tender and soft the chashu was, but I wish there were more toppings such as an egg, because the noodles themselves, while good, got a bit boring over time. The service was great and I would come again to try something new.

The Food was absolutely amazinThe storyline to every drink on the drink menu plus the actual drink had me feeling like a Naruto eating scene lol! The music and servers were awesome! Next time me and mine are in NYC and in need of some ramen, we know exactly where to stop!

We ate lunch here and were seated in the upstairs dining room. They were only open for ten minutes and already filling up downstairs. The ambience and decor was lovely. It has us talking about it throughout the meal. If they only dimmed the ceiling lights, it would feel like you're eating outside in Japan. Service was extremely attentive, countlessly filling our mini water glasses. I did notice that they do try to push a number of things to sell. After indicating we'll have water, the question is "still or sparkling"? My answer was "tap". NYC tap water actually ranks pretty high in blind taste tests. The ramen bowls were about $20ish and a good value. Portion was perfect and all flavorful. Again though, they try to sell all sorts of extras for your ramen...eggs, cabbage, anything. Your $20 ramen could quickly become $30. We didn't get any extras and all bowls had plenty of goodies within. Kin kare ramen (Kare means spicy) was perfect for me. Never got tiring, balanced flavors. I really enjoyed it. Even with the spicy paste added directly to the ramen, it wasn't too spicy. Miso ramen was also balanced and enjoyed at the table. Two of us ordered curry ramen bowls. These tasted ok at the start, but got a little sickening. They were very gloppy and thick. More like extra thick curries than a bowl of brothy ramen. Still, both eaters finished them. The meal was satisfying, but we opted to try their dessert. It's a small scoop of green tea matcha ice cream (likely Haagen Daaz) and supposedly lava cake. Very small portion and $14... Not worth it. $6 more could buy you a big satisfying bowl of ramen so I don't see the value. Overall, very nice place, great ramen, excellent service, no credit card fee, but just watch the upcharges. Enjoy!

Kin Ramen served up some of the best ramen noodles I've ever had! They had the perfect texture - a slight amount of chew, but still soft enough to absorb a bit of the broth and take on a delightful flavor. I am convinced they are making them fresh daily. I ordered the signature spicy Kin Ramen and the broth was deep and flavorful with a nice amount of heat. The pork char siu was probably the weakest element of the ramen - it was good but not outstanding. My partner got the tempura ube, which to our surprise came out effectively like ube fries. It was served with a trio of dipping sauces and we both found them crisp and delicious. It's a small space inside and noisy when it's bustling, its not the kind of place you go for nice quiet dinner but has the perfect ambience for a popular noodle shop.

came here with a friend -- there's an upstairs and a downstairs level for this restaurant, and the decor is all out and very much designed to make you feel like you pure in japan. the staff are friendly but it is a little crowded (got bumped a few times by people getting out and going back to their seats). the food was a little underwhelming. my friend got the kara kin ramen while i got the kara miso. each was $22 pre tip and tax, which was a little pricey for me considering flavor and amount of noodle (and lack of egg). the miso tasted a little watered down and the noodles a little bland on my end, but i got a taste of the kin broth and that was definitely richer and more satisfying. all in all not too bad of an experience for a quick dinner near carnegie hall.

This place is so cool. From the authentic Japanese decor to manga style menus and super creative recipes. This is more than dinner...it's an experience. The staff is very attentive and personable. Promptly clearing and bringing the next course. Checking on us and making sure we had all we needed. The food: Ube tempura was tasty but not crisp 8/10; soft shell crab bao wasn't cooked long enough for me. No crisp 7/10; chicken bumps is a chicken skin appetizer. It was Nice thin fatty and crispy but waaay too much salt (sad face) 4/10; shoyu ramen looked delicious but the broth lacked flavor and was really greasy 4/10; the star of the night was my sake jelly drink. Fresh fruit chunks, actual jelly. Takes a second to get used to the texture but it was fun. I'd definitely try this spot again.

Curry Ramen is super delicious, the decor makes you feel in Japan. The service is on point. Staff are very friendly... house bee is yummy..

Discovered this gem fall 2022, and it's a must when we visit NYC for fall break. Agadashi Tofu Soy Ramen and Kim Ramen so good. Zero spice for us but that doesn't matter because flavors are so delicious!

Super fun spot for solid food and amazing atmosphere! My husband and I grabbed a quick dinner here before a show, and my eyes feasted just as much if not more than my stomach. No reservations here, but they do have both an upstairs and downstairs area and service is pretty quick. We were seated upstairs and the combination of music and decor was exactly what I'd look for in a cute date night! We ordered the following: * Ube Tempura: tasty but a little bit on the heavy side but that's always the case with starchy roots! I was surprised by how much I enjoyed the wasabi mayo, it lightened/refreshed the heaviness of the ube * Kin Ramen: Kin = Gold, which explains the little speck of gold atop my noodles! I love that the noodles were thin, and I had 2-3 pieces of tasty chashu that were not too thin, with nice fat/lean layers, and a lovely sear! No complaints, but I'd personally go for a salad or seafood dish next time * Spicy veggie ramen: My husband enjoyed this quite a bit! This one came with thicker curlier noodles, which soaked up the creamy sauce. He would've preferred slightly thinner noodles, but he finished every last drop! Gotta add that we were in and out within 40 minutes without mentioning we were in a hurry, so two thumbs up! The bathroom was also super clean and hilarious with a sign stating that drinking before pregnancy may cause pregnancy!

This place is really good! It has a relaxed and cozy ambiance. The service is quick and efficient. The food is what keeps people waiting in line outside even when the restaurant hasn't opened yet. I had the salmon tataki as appetizer which was light and tender it's so good and not heavy so there was room for their popular Kara kin ramen with egg. The broth is savory, the noodles are perfect, meat is tender and the soft boiled egg adds to the flavor. It's perfect any time but especially with this cold winter weather. It's definitely a hit!

Cozy ramen noodles that taste fresh and delicious, and a vegan option to boot! I added a soft boiled egg to my "spicy" ramen. My only con about this place is the word spicy. It implies something is actually spicy and lo and behold I spent an extra $2 for red color in my oh so not spicy ramen. I ended up sprinkling it with a ton of the red flakes they provide anyway. It has flavor but a spice level well under a jalapeño. Still it was delicious, fast, and tasted very fresh from the noodles which were perfect consistency to the crisp radish slices. I bit into perfectly cooked squash wedges and the tofu...this is where I'd get the extra and order a bit more. I scarfed this bowl down and I probably sat in this restaurant for only 25 minutes from seated to finished and out the door. I do appreciate efficiency. I don't recommend eating so fast but it was so good I couldn't put my chopsticks down.
