Super fun place to find good quality stuff for everyone! Books, clothes, accessories, home goods and so much more. Well worth the visit, and there’s free parking across the street. If you use a meter be sure and pay, as frequent patrols are common.

I took my friends here over Christmas as this is a shop to take someone from out of state who is visiting. It has all of the Dub V tchotchkes, trinkets and apparel one would need to remember a trip to the mountain state. I like the assortment of items and it’s appealing to locals and travelers a like. I think they have. A really genius marketing idea with the photo booth. You get the photos free once to join the mailing list. I thought that was a genius tactic. This shop is a staple for the Elk City district rebirth.

Great shop for unique, eccentric West Virginia themed gifts. Hand made items include screen printed shirts and hoodies, and other gifts include soaps, socks, and hard to find novelties. It's a warm and inviting shop with staff members who are welcoming, helpful, and polite. I love the unique items in this shop as well as online. It is most definitely an experience that you don't want to miss out on when you're in Charleston, WV.

I had purchased a Regatta Shirt… and it had not been delivered yet BUT upon looking at my receipt I had realized I ordered it for pick up instead of shipping. OOPS - I was able to call the store and spoke with an associate -Savannah, who was able to get me all fixed up! She made the whole experience quick and easy plus she was so pleasant to speak with. I’m so happy that it was able to be fixed and that it should be here in the next couple of days. Thank you Savannah and Kin Ship for making it easy on me. I was visiting my daughter In Charleston and she loves this place so we went on Small Business Saturday. I must say I LOVE this place as well. The staff are super friendly and the items for sale or quirky and fun. The prices are very reasonable as well. We were treated to free totes and warm donuts while awaiting our turn in the store. I will definitely be back on my next visit to WV.

Great shop with great items run by great people who are making a difference in the Charleston community. At this point around 90% of my t-shirts are from Kin Ship-- love their unique, pro-WV designs and look forward to visiting their cute shop again once Covid is over. In the meantime, their online shop is a great place to buy gifts for the upcoming holiday season. Solid thumbs up all around.

Kin Ship is a cozy shop with gorgeous shirts and goods that show the love West Virginia. I'm a WV expat and love stopping by when I get the chance, and I always walk out with at least a shirt, sometimes more. The shirts are great quality -- they've held up for years both in terms of fabric and graphics -- and super comfy. The designs help me with the homesickness I feel for the Mountain State and let me show her off around the country while traveling. If you are and/or you need something for someone who loves West Virginia, start here.

Such a cute store with goods for everyone! Dogs, babies, adults, holiday decorations, etc. They offer a great selection of t-shirts and sweaters, all with super cute designs.

LOVE THIS PLACE!!! My wife and I have a ton of KSG items. This is a great local place that makes quality t-shirts, sweatshirts, etc. The material that KSG uses is extremely soft and comfy, and holds up well to multiple washes. I am a native West Virginian living in Michigan, and I love that Kinship provides unique clothing that showcases the great state of WV. Every time I wear one of their products I'll get comments asking "Where did you get that?" If you live near Charleston, check out their Brick and Mortar location. Their website is also great, and they have good sales a few times per year.

I appreciate what they're doing for the local culture and economy. However, I disapprove of the employee attitudes. Elk City has become a hub for Charleston locals that are into the ultra-hipster, cooler-than-thou culture. Some friendlier staff would go a long way for their brand and influence within the town. That being said, I will continue to patronize Kinship to support local, progressive efforts in WV.

This is a great local business in Charleston. They have an awesome selection of shirts as well as screen printed wall hangings. I highly recommend this place if you are passing through or if you need a place to stop and grab some local gear.
