The 20 Best Restaurants In Berlin 2024

"When you’ve checked off seeing the World Clock in Alexanderplatz and the picturesque courtyards of Hackesche Höfe in Mitte, Kin Za Georgian Kitchen is a great casual place to refuel for lunch. When it’s busy, the space can feel a little cramped, but you’ll barely notice once you’re swimming in gooey khachapuri and gargling the luscious broth of the khinkali. These two dishes could easily make up a full meal, which’ll either have you ready for miles more walking or maybe a little snooze at Monbijou Park." - cindy brzostowski

Love this place and the vibe. It's my first time trying Georgian food. We really enjoyed the experience. The staff are friendly and happy. Highly recommended. BTW, Make sure you check out their washroom before you leave 😉

Absolutely amazing, we went there with 3 friends and had the best meal we had of our entire life. Plenty of vegetarian/vegan options, and delicious food over everything we took. The kind of "truffle pide" was an absolute blast, having my friend and I in a whole other state while eating. The atmospheric-music choices were also nice, which added a nice touch. We will come again for sure.

Disappointing Experience – Not Worth the Price We were quite let down by our visit here. The restaurant is overpriced compared to other Georgian places in the city—Tsomi, for instance, offers a far better overall experience at a more reasonable cost. The biggest issue we faced was the service. We were a group of five, and one of our friends was running a bit late. We politely informed the staff that we’d like to wait before placing our order. Despite this, three different waiters approached us repeatedly to take our order, making the situation awkward and uncomfortable. It felt like they were pressuring us to order, which really soured the atmosphere. Unfortunately, this experience was enough for us to decide that we won’t be coming back, and we wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to others.

What an amazing experience! The restaurant was full and buzzing with people chatting over their food. We got the impression there were a lot of Georgian people there for a taste of home cooking! The food was delicious and it’s been a long time since I’ve tasted food which I couldn’t instantly relate to other cuisine so it’s quite unique. Walnuts feature a lot. The mix of spices was delicate and tasty without being overpowering. The service was super fast. If you’ve never tasted Georgian food before, then do visit this restaurant!!

Personally, I think taste is overrated. It was okay, not enough spice or something different. But you can go for trying Georgian food like I did and maybe you will like it. Service was average. Ambiance is good. Prices are high. Drinks were good.

Great place to get some traditional Georgian food. The portions are quite large, so do bewarw of that. Especially the Kachapuri and Khinkalis are great! Service is a bit slow, but not too bad. Similar to what you would experience in Georgia. Would recommend!

Oh how I love this restaurant! Every time I'm in Berlin I eat here at least twice! The food is incredible! Definitely don't miss the mixed phkali appetizer or the kinkali! 😋 It's always busy and has a very lively atmosphere. If you come at prime time a reservation can be helpful but it's not critical. I will definitely be back again this trip... and every other trip to Berlin! It's a must!

My favourite Georgian restaurant in Berlin, serving authentic homemade Georgian staples. We ordered KHINKALI, PENOVANI KHACHAPURI, and KHACHAPURI, and all 3 were so delicious!! The positions are massive so you will have leftover for next day’s lunch or dinner. Food was really really good! Highly recommend this Kin Za restaurant.
