Kinari Aburi Sushi & Noodle

Great variety of Japanese food options, including lots of vegetarian options. There’s also a plant-based broth for the ramen in case you don’t want animal broth. The service was attentive and gracious. They helped us pick out options and kept our drinks coming.

We headed over there for dinner, our first time trying this spot out. They offer both indoor and outdoor dining options. The place has a pleasant, simple decor, friendly staff, and a good menu. Happy hour is from 5 to 7 PM. We both went with ramen; one creamy noodle dish with chicken broth and the Tonkotsu Ramen, also featuring noodles and chicken broth. It's a great place for a peaceful dinner, a nice escape from the usual hustle and bustle.

Since Sushi is one of our favorite dishes I am always looking for good restaurants to eat Sushi. KINARI Aburi Sushi & Noodle had tasty fresh sushi. Very reasonable prices and good service.

Went on New Year’s day 2025 to eat with 7 cousins and felt the atmosphere was pretty dead. The service was also subpar, at times not the right food brought out to the table. The main hostess was very good and gracious as she took care of us very well and welcomed us in. There was a trainee who needed help for taking orders and at times didn’t understand what dishes we wanted. We also had to remind him 3-4 times on our drink orders (and mind you, we were the ONLY table in the restaurant). Overall- Food was excellent, service was ok (the lady was amazing, the guy not so much), atmosphere felt drab.

Upon arriving at KINARI ABURI SUSHI & Noodles for dinner, my partner and I were initially taken aback by the lack of patrons present. However, we opted to stay and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and service. The sushi and ramen dishes were outstanding, and we were impressed by the overall value for the price. In fact, our final check was remarkably reasonable given the high quality of our dining experience. We highly recommend trying this restaurant, especially during their amazing happy hour. Don't hesitate to give KINARI ABURI SUSHI & Noodles a chance - you won't be disappointed. One more thing when we left the restaurant was filled up.

New favorite neighborhood sushi spot. Crispy tuna rice is so good, and their sushi pieces are so fresh. Love how many options there are and the good prices. We haven’t had a good neighborhood sushi spot in Weho for a while, so glad it’s here!

The game changer is the free garage parking that all the businesses share on this block. The entrance is on Waring Ave. There is an elevator that takes you directly to Kinari. You don't understand how amazing that is in LA. Kinari could suck, but if the parking was that good, I would still come back. I suspect this is a better happy hour place than it is a regular dinner experience, because I came on a prime weekend evening and it was almost empty inside. Some people like that, other people don't. I was okay with it, because my food came extra fast and I felt like all the staff there were serving me personally. haha. Sushi was above average quality. Prices felt average for LA. I think the better deal is for happy hour, though, so I will come back to experience that. Kinari is ideal for a small group. Maybe after work with coworkers. I'd come here for lunch, too. Dates are okay. Families with children should be fine here. But the happy hour is probably where it's at.

Quiet but lovely. Friendly staff ! Great happy hour ! Yummy sushi good portion ! My kid got the teriyaki chicken which she rated a six . She enjoyed it and saved the rest for left overs ! I killed my spicy tuna and my crunch tuna ! The garlic edamame is more spice than garlic but good !

Incredible sushi !! Came for the lunch special and the presentation is gorgeous - the waitress is beyond lovely - just so so nice ! The portion size to price ratio is amazing and the sushi is super fresh and you can taste the love and care that went into preparing it ! Huge slices of sushi ! I am so happy right now - great place ! Miso soup came very hot too how i like it. The ambiance inside is very cute and there is street parking.

I came here with a friend for dinner on a Friday night. We decided to both get the aburi sushi combo special. From the time we sat down to the time the food came out we waited around an hour 30. The one waiter there was pretty nice about it, he comped an additional sake peach martini ($10) for both of us but honestly that is just sooooo long to wait while sitting in a restaurant. The restaurant itself was about half full, with lots of online orders coming in. They told us they only had one chef in and that's why it was taking so long. I will say the actual sushi itself was very good with good quality fish. The drinks weren't bad but weren't great. I wanted to like this place more, the food honestly was good, just the wait got a little ridiculous.

I come here all the time and haven't made a review yet so I figure I should. First off their customer service is top notch. They greet everyone who walks in with a smile. I always end up coming during happy hour which is amazing. They have a great menu and such affordable prices but happy hour makes the pricing a can't miss. They start you off with delicious miso soup and water. I get the gyozo as an appetizer and it's crisped to perfection. I also get the chicken teriyaki which comes with a salad. Delicious every time. The TVs are typically playing a sports game and like a walk through of a city overseas. Super nice vibe. If you're in the area looking for a quality bite to eat, this is the perfect place.

I love finding a good and affordable sushi place, I would definitely say this place it that! I came to pick up my order on a Friday around 4pm and I was a little worried because the restaurant was completely empty when I entered. I ordered the baked salmon, yellowtail delight, yellowtail Jalapeño, baked crab hand roll and lion king roll. My FAV is the lion king roll, 10/10! The spicy tuna in the yellowtail delight taste kind of weird but overall it is still good. The baked crab hand roll was imitation crab inside and I did not like it at all. I am use to crab hand rolls being blue crab, but this was not the case. Baked imitation crab just tastes odd to me. I do not like ginger but my mom does, she said it smelled weird and tasted sour/like it was old. Overall I do think this place has good potential. I would come back and try some new items. Definitely order the lion king roll!

Randomly found this spot for sushi and had a great experience Food: I had a sushi combo that included chefs choice fish, had a uni sushi, spicy tuna roll, and gyoza and everything was fresh, nice quality, and delicious Service: service was fast and good Price: very affordable prices. Enjoyed having combo specials that gave you an opportunity to try good food for a more affordable price Highlight: my highlight was the uni sushi that almost melted in my mouth. I also checked In witj Yelp and was pleasantly surprised with a free beer and hand roll.

I love a great deal and service. I came here for happy hour with my wife and 2 year old son. They have a happy hour from 5-7 and everything I tried in the happy hour menu was delicious. The tempura wasn't soggy and it was crunchy, the way it's suppose to be served. Our waiter, Steve, was very informative and recommended some delicious plates. This place is a hidden gem and I hope more people find it. If you love Sushi, delicious food and service, then I suggest you at least try it. I will definitely be coming back.

Came here from my clinicals nearby to have lunch and menu is similar to where I used to work. I did enjoy the bento box I ordered and nice clean place inside. Friendly server. Will come visit soon again...

Good Quality and Great Deal. Plenty of street parking! Came here on a Friday afternoon with a group of four the place was basically empty and we were seating immediately. We all got the $30 lunch special which came with miso soup, edamame 8 pieces of sushi and a hand roll. The food came out in a timely manner and was delicious, the sake martini was great as well. This is about as good as it gets for the quality and prices. Very happy with my experience and I plan on coming back. 5/5

I can't say anything about the interior as I had mine delivered. Maybe it's because it's Mother's Day, or maybe not. I was not impressed with this place. Sushi was bland there were too many options with California roll inside and not enough of without (specialty rolls). I accidentally ordered Kinari roll, which had California interior and although I can't stand it, this was even more unpleasant. It tasted like pure mayo. All of the fish seemed a little "off." I don't know. I hope that it's just a bad experience because it seems to get a great rating. I will not be attempting this again though.

Had a nice dinner here. Make sure you check in on Yelp and you get a free beer and spicy tuna hand roll! I got the ramen and sushi combo which was a good deal at $22. The rainbow roll was good quality. The seafood ramen was tasty. Warning: I got my ramen at medium spicy level and it was very spicy. I would recommend ordering the spice on the side. The service was very good. Friendly and attentive. My friend liked the music but it was a bit too soft jazzy for me. Overall I recommend this place.

We usually come for appetizers, ramen, and cold beer. Their draft Sapporo in frosted mugs is the best. Ramen is all about the broth, and they do a great job. My favorite is the miso broth, but my spouse likes the creamy miso. Service is usually prompt and friendly. We almost always come with our dog and sit outside. They always provide him with a water bowl.

Hands down one of the top ramen spot in la! Food: love that this place not only specializes in ramen but in sushi as well. The menu of here consists of many ramen options along with many quality sushi options. As far as the ramen goes, you can't go wrong with the creamy ramen. The broth itself is packed with flavor & really is creamy. I personally always go with the vegan toppings along with the vegan noodles. As far as rolls go I highly recommend the fire roll & crunch roll but honestly all the rolls here are good. I recommend coming here during happy hour so that you can try ALL of the rolls. Food here is 10/10. I love that on top of the food being super tasty and fresh, the prices here are super low! You also get a free beer and hand roll upon yelp check in. The service here is super friendly & your food comes out fast! I look forward to coming back!

Excellent experience! Food quality was 10/10. All of the sushi I tried tasted so fresh with the perfect ratio of fish to rice. I highly recommend any of the sushi combos because it gives the perfect variety of sushi. Our server, Toshi, was great as he was always checking up on us and served our food very quickly. Highly recommend!

Came to celebrate my best friend's birthday. Hiro was great and instantly sprang into action, setting up a few outdoor heaters for our big group. The Yellowtail is great, ramen choices were solid, and tempura ice cream to finish it off was amazing. This place is a real gem around this part of town, great and cozy experience.

Great sushi spot def one of my favs. Its a nice small place with amazing fresh sushi. I got the otoro bluefin tuna and yellowtail delight, highly recommend! The server, Toshi, was very kind and attentive towards our table and always coming by to ask if we needed anything else. This place needs more love for sure! 11/10 service and food

Last Sunday I ate at Kinari again. It was probably about the eighth time I've eaten there in the last couple of months. Once again as I said in my previous review the food is fantastic there everything I eat there is very tasty and the quality of the fish is excellent but once again like I said in my previous review of the restaurant the fish as far as Sushi goes needs to be served a good 10 to 15 degrees cooler than it is when it comes out to the table!! the quality is amazing but it seems to always be served at room temperature!! I brought this to the attention of our waiter Stephen who is fantastic but sushi needs to be served cold!!!NOT ROOM TEMPERATURE!! Idon't know what it is maybe because they don't have a sushi bar and the food appears magically out of the kitchen???other than that it's a fantastic Japanese restaurant!!!

This place is a great spot to pop in and get a quick roll or some mochi. The waitress and chef were really nice and gave us some good food recommendations. I'm definitely coming back. It was fairly inexpensive compared to other places

Cute, casual place! Walked in on a Thursday night and didn't have to wait to get a table. Overall good sushi- fish was fresh and the specialty rolls were good. The Beef Tataki was a bit chewier than I would've liked so I would recommend sticking to their sashimi and sushi rolls.

Super chill, not fancy spot if you're looking for a small town ish vibe and quick, friendly service. I am vegetarian so I got an avocado roll with cucumber and crunchies. Not the most fancy vegetarian options but they work, esp for the price!! My husband got the crunchy spicy tuna roll and loved it! Prices are super fair and place is nice. We live in the neighborhood and will definitely be coming back regularly :)

I ordered the Dynamite Roll which was definitely dynamite!! The appetizers were also amazing especially the garlic edamame and spicy tuna on crispy rice. The service from Hiro was 10/10. Kinari is the best.

Amazing under new management. I always liked Kinari in my neighborhood even before new management. Fish is always fresh, and it has a good selections of sake. If you like basic maki, this is the place. Our kids love Kinari's jumbo shrimp tempura and cucumber rolls. Very kid friendly too. thank you.

I found Kinari through a friend who recommended the place for very good, clean sushi and sashimi. I ordered the Salmon Belly sushi, Toro Belly sushi, Toro Sashimi, Wagyu beef Sushi and the Ramen, all very good. The inside was clean and felt very spacious, considering it was not a stand alone structure. The service was good and the servers were very cheerful and polite. Highly recommend if your in the neighborhood and want to get a quickly bite of Sushi.

It was my first time truly dabbling in the sushi game at Kinari, and I gotta say it was a good start! The salmon nigiri was my favorite, but I also really enjoyed the avocado roll. Although the presentation was lacking, the flavors were good and made me want to give it another shot! Kinari isn't the most elegant sushi spot in the Hollywood area, but for an affordable dining experience, you'll receive some above average food that'll be enough to satisfy the craving.

This place has some of the best sushi in WeHo, and to top it off, it's relatively affordable as well. Highly recommend the sushi combo or the chirashi if you want sushi. And all the plant based broth ramen is amazing as well. They also have a really cute patio area for outdoor seating.

Great spot, great service. They have few nice options of sake to choose from and good amount of special rolls. I get their shishito pepper salmon mango roll and fire roll and they all been absolutely great.

Go to delivery sushi. Prompt delivery. They get the order right. I always ask for extra ginger. The sushi is consistent. I appreciate knowing what I'm getting. Have never dined in so can't speak to that.

Love love love this spot! We were looking for a sushi spot close by and came across this location. When we arrived, there were only a few tables and it was happy hour. We sat at the bar with the tender/ waiter Endi and he made great recommendations. He was awesome, funny and friendly! We ordered a couple of sushi items and the creamy ramen (Endi's suggestion). It was SO good. If you're a ramen lover, you MUST try this. The noodles were thin, the pork was perfect, and the garlic wasn't overpowering whatsoever. We had a few drinks from the happy hour menu - there aren't too many options, but honestly, who needs them? We had a great time. The service was the cherry on top and for that we will definitely return. YUM!

Kinari's sushi and ramen quality was actually good with a more affordable price. I loved how the check-in includes both beer and a sushi roll, please make sure you do check-in! We got the creamy ramen, which is not the best ramen I've got but it was rich in flavor, just wish it came with either more pork or thicker pork, there were only two thin slices. Our sushi spread was amazing but heads up, the portion of fish isn't as much but I find it reasonable based on the price. We did street parking. Would still come back if I'm in the area but wouldn't drive out of my way to go here.

Great ambiance, food, and excellent service. The restaurant is clean and spacious. The sushi was very good and we really enjoyed the ramen, too (broth was excellent). The yellowtail collar was soooo good. We had a great experience and will definitely be back.

Ordered to-go on a rainy night in LA. Staff was polite and quick to take the order. Really wanted a hot tonkotsu ramen - found that they have plant-based broth only in stead of traditional tonkotsu / pork broth. Fine. Went with the server recommendation of Miso broth. The restaurant was empty so I was a little annoyed at the 15 minute wait for my order. Miso Ramen: Good portion size. Oily broth - very red. Lacked the flavor-punch of Tonkotsu and was ok. Pork slice was super small - like one bite. Egg was tasty. Bummer was the broth was almost COLD when I got home. 5 minute drive in a heated car. Why?? Broth could not have been hot when we left the restaurant. Pretty lame. Pork Gyoza: BAD. These are not steamed and then pan fried as you expect, but instead were deep fried. I would bet money these are from a restaurant supply or asian grocery - frozen section. Throw them in the deep fryer, add plastic ramekin of some bottled sauce and charge $12. Not awesome. One other thing - setting the default tip to 25% for to-go seems a bit high to me. I get it, but this is offensive for to-go orders.

I'm a fan! Even though they were short staffed, they were able to prepare an assortment of sushi and a vegan ramen under 25 min. I really enjoyed their Kinari roll, an assortment of fish wrapped in cucumber! Very delicious! Their vegan ramen was tasty but when taken to go, it unfortunately was a bit cold when reached home but worth reheating! They are practicing social distancing with tables outside.

Overall this place is okay. I would have given it three stars if the service weren't as good as it is. My main concern is value for money. The prices here are on the high end. The sushi was okay. The rolls were better. The disappointments came with the entrees. It's a bummer they don't offer white meat chicken for these higher prices. A breast meat option should be on offer. Also the entrees need to come with a salad or miso soup. I didn't get mine. That could be a mistake with the order. The rice was also mushy.

Great spot to stop in Hollywood with a lunch special, from M-F until 3. I've passed by a few times and finally decided to stop in. There was street parking available on Fairfax. They have great patio seating and a chill atmosphere. The server was very kind. Got the Aburi Combo Light: 5 pieces of nigiri & hand roll, miso soup and edamame. Don't forget to check in while your there for a free hand roll & Sapporo. I enjoyed my meal and definitely want to return and try the ramen.

Came to there soft open this week and - WOW - this place is amazing. The sushi is on point. Check it out. We loved it.

Almost a week went by and they didn't try to solve this issue. Manager is nonexistant and hard to get a hold of. I called Grubhub and they solved it in less than 5 minutes. Kinari is a shady business and I would not recommend.
