Really great vibes and good prices. Karla Is friendly and overall great at making people feel comfortable and taken care of. Love the vintage aesthetic

Google
great bar in the heart of lincoln park! right below the armitage brown line station- good atmosphere, decent food and good drinks! definitely would recommend to watch an nfl or college football game! we got the nachos and the wings- wings were really good and the nachos were okay. will definitely be back for another game

Google
A fun full service sports bar with staff that seem to enjoy their work. Seats are hard to come by in this popular bar, even with its multiple levels and rooms. Great draft beer choices, not too many, and a goto food menu for your favorite bar food craving (such as Tachos!)

Google
Kincade’s is the tried and true. We have a great time regardless if it’s Thursday night trivia, after work drinks, or lunch/dinner on the weekends watching the games. It can get crowded (especially during Kansas/Bengals) but is worth it if you can get a seat. We love the bartenders and are generally impressed by their food. It will always be a favorite.

Google
Stopped by Kincades on St Patrick's day and LM made our night! Service was easy and quick. We had the best time and will definitely be back!

Google
I helped host a private event in one of Kincade's private rooms and it was great! The staff were very accommodating and helpful. We worked with Kelley, who was very responsive to all our questions. The room itself was very cute and well decorated, the bartenders and doorman were very kind, and the food was delicious. Would absolutely host something here again in the future!

Google
LM was our bartender…. She’s AMAZING. She really makes this place somewhere I want to come back and is so kind we will be back

Google
Server/ bartender sucked. She talked to a lady the whole time and did not care about anyone else. Took forever to get my order taken, once I finally got my food you could see it had been sitting for a while and she took forever to get my refill of my drink.

Yelp
This place has a dive bar feel, but we were impressed with the service and the food & beverages. We ordered a few beers. The servers were friendly and checked on us often. You can order at the bar or high top table. The wings smelled soo good that we had to order some even though we had dinner plans. The wings were very tasty! We devoured them. I would recommend grabbing a drink here with friends!

Yelp
Kincade's is a great Cincinnati Bengal's bar in Lincoln Park! I've watched a few games here in their back bar and it's always a great time! The service is good and the beer selection is always pretty large. Highly recommend for any Bengals fans in Chicago! The front main bar is also great for watching other games.

Yelp
Came here as we were waiting for a table at Armitage Alehouse (spoiler: we didn't get a table because they lost our name off the waitlist) Anywho, we each got a drink and we eventually got the spinach and artichoke dip to share. The dip had a TON of spinach in it, most I've ever seen in that type of dip. Service was friendly. Wasn't too busy for a Tuesday evening but given the area I'm sure it gets really busy on the weekends and for sports.

Yelp
$3 Miller Lites on Tuesdays. Good wings, BBQ pork nachos are huge. Pretty decent spot. Nothing special (it's a college bar definitely).

Yelp
My Cheeseburger sliders well seasoned, the bun is crispy & buttery. Fries came out hot & lightly salted. Marg 'Fuego Puppy Jalapeño' brimmed w/ Tajin. I enjoyed the holiday decor, our server was efficient we went around 1:00p on Holiday Break!

Yelp
I went by to grab some quick bites while shopping in the area and stopped here. I was surprised at how good the pizza was! I'm not a fan of deep dish, but this was some of the best pizza I've had since being in Chicago. I didn't think it would come from a bar, but I was pleasantly surprised. This is also a Bengals bar I believe, so being from Cincinnati this was another plus! Also, my wife got the grilled chicken sandwich and enjoyed that also! We'll be back!

Yelp
Stopped in for a quick drink while bar hopping in the area. We had a mcgreggor's mule and a dark and stormy. The drinks were pretty good, but nothing amazing. The service was pretty good, but it was also fairly empty. The women's bathroom was very clean and nice, which was a big pro! The food menu looks pretty standard, but we didn't try any food this visit. Will be back for that! The location is top notch, right next to a train station too.

Yelp
Great atmosphere and nice employees. Usually a good bucket special. Food is underrated! Rock Chalk!

Yelp
visited Kincade's for their Survivor watch party (for the finale of season 45). GREAT atmosphere with the upstairs bar and tables dedicated to the watch party. Had some delicious drinks, decent pizza, and a really fun time!
google avatar

Yelp
All I'm gonna say is that I paid more in fees than my actual drinks and wings. Between service fee, environmental fee, 20% tip and taxes, it definitely was excessive! Very rushed service too. Not going back. Kinda ridic.

Yelp
Typical Irish bar. I wouldn't get anything on top because the cups are pretty small. This might've just been a St. Patrick's Day thing, but I did notice that. Drinks are very reasonably priced and gets a pretty solid crowd. Great to watch sports.

Jordan H.

Yelp
Totally a 5/5 place. Only thing I'd like to see is a TV in the front left corner. Like come on! PS. My favorite wings ever

Samantha K.

Yelp
Cute neighborhood bar. The food is solid and there always seems to be a good energy in there.

Nachi P.

Yelp
Came to watch the Kansas game and NFL playoffs, Brady was very accommodating and definitely added to our overall experience. Food and drinks were good as well!

Eric H.

Yelp
I probably single handedly paid for a year of college for the owners kid. Or at least their groceries. Loved this bar when I lived in Chicago, dollar beer night on Wednesday is hard to beat if your in your 20s. Solid wings.

Yelp
Great bar in Lincoln Park. Friendly service. Plenty of malorts. Katie the bartender was great. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Kinkaids is a great sports bar. This was our hangout for all Kansas Jayhawk games and it still is a KU bar. I always get the wings which are good as are the burgers. Fun atmosphere and a solid staff.

Yelp
I stood outside in where cold today with my friend and his 2 young girls to watch the bengals in the payoffs. Once they started letting people in the door guy walked up to us as we were front of the line abs said no kids. He let a couple with a toddler in before us and knew we had been outside in the cold for 30 minutes and the game just started. I'm appalled by this place and will never come back...worst experience I've had in 15 years in Chicago. So disappointed when I just wanted to watch the bengals in the playoffs ...also note I called at 11 abs was told ok to bring the girls. This place is appalling and doesn't deserve one star!

Yelp
Who doesn't love a bar? Who doesn't love a bar AND grill? Who doesn't love a bar and grill conveniently located next to a train station and busy street? All those things sound great in theory...in actuality, Kincade's is meh at best. I'll talk about the good first so I don't come off as too strong. As stated before, location is definitely key, so a bar and grill located so close to public transportation is an A+ (or at least should be) in anyone's book for a good night. Even better so, this bar is loaded with space. A ground floor, basement floor and second floor, as well as an outdoor patio, people upon people can visit this spot and have a ball, eating, drinking, watching sports, socializing, whatever. Here's what I don't care about Kincade's: the service was less than acceptable. Bartender wouldn't even bother leaving her bar to take any type of order. Food was standard bar food. I don't know, I didn't get much out of it. I guess it just wasn't my type of crowd to be around neither. But, I will say, I love how the bar is laid out, it's a pretty sweet pad. Just don't expect good service and food.

Yelp
I love Kincade's because they offer their bloody mary's all day & night on the weekends! $6 too! I am in a bloody mary phase and this is the only place so far that will make em during the weekend nights. I will say that theirs is pretty spicy but I love it! They offer a certain beer my husband loves that they only have limited stock in. I want to say white zombie? Anyway, great service and I love their bloodys!

Yelp
It's criminal this place only has 3 stars hahah this is as good a neighborhood bar as you can get imo. To be fair, I don't drink even though I'm in my mid twenties, so I can't rate the drinks here, but my partner has never complained about his beers. 5 stars for Kincade's pizza. Literally, best sleeper pizza in the city. They make their own dough, they have huge pizza ovens, it's super thin crust like sort of tavern style crispy crust and cut into a grid of small squares. I'm from Philly so I have pizza standard of East coast slices, and this is seriously one of my favorite pizzas ever. I get it with double pepperoni and garlic and it's just crazy good. The blackened chicken quesadilla also goes so hard, and the portion is massive. It was my first meal I had after moving to the city and I was blown away by the portion size of not just the dilla, but the salsa and sour cream sides - you midwesterners do not skimp on the side sauces and it's so fire. So Kincade's is 5 stars for sure, super chill, and just extremely underrated food. Get the pizza.

Yelp
Having passed this place many times walking to the "el" I decided to finally go in. The service was good and friendly, the prices were actually better than I expected and the other customers that were there all seemed really cool. Great location as well right by the brown line Armitage station.

Yelp
I've been here my last two times in Chicago. It's a good pub. There are a ton of TVs and lots of places to sit. They have a good beer selection. On Sundays, you can get really big screwdrivers with your brunch -- or just on their own. The food is okay. I've had the fried mac n cheese bites. They were good, but not Earth-shattering. The staff has always been attentive and friendly. If you're in Lincoln Park and looking for a watering hole, this is a good spot.

Yelp
We are from out of town. Simple things: Club easy to eat and didn't have the 3rd layer of bread. I'm certain many would complain about this. But we preferred it and easier to eat. Also had turkey Ruben. My local bar quit serving it so it was a nice treat. Again. Simple. Service great. But having just raw vege as side was refreshing... we were bad on the sandwich. So we felt better about eating carrots and celery instead of fries!

Yelp
I love Kincade's! This is the perfect joint for anything from your casual afternoon day drinking to watching the game on a Thursday evening or a stop on your Saturday night outing. They have awesome prices, and fantastic specials throughout the week. Make sure to try the mini burgers and a fishbowl... or two (or three). We've tried nearly every variety and you really can't go wrong. Super friendly atmosphere and our servers are always really personable and attentive.

Keil W.

Yelp
This bar is real. There's no pretension at all. It's chill, good beer for a reasonable price, and a lot of TV's for sports.

Yelp
I like Kincade's and thought I wrote a review for this place years ago but see I did not. Located right off of the Armitage brown line stop and is a good neighborhood spot to grab drinks and get food. They have a trivia night on Mondays which is cool. Pretty good beer selection with bottles, cans and draft. Recently had a chance to get their turkey burger which was ok and what they call spicy fries which basically were fries with old bay seasoning on them. Like I said good spot to stop and grab a drink and snack if you live nearby or happen to be in the area.

Yelp
Kincades use to be on of my favorite Thursday night spots, unfortunately the food quality and service have gone down hill. Kincades has sponsored our volleyball league for several years, in the past the service was quick and the food was great! After going to Kincades these past two Thursdays we noticed quite a change. The chicken wings (which they are known for) have went from excellent to horrible. The wings use to be very meaty and filling. Now the wings barley have any meat on them, very skimpy and overcooked! Service: One major drawback of this place is its bad for large groups. They absolutely refuse to let you push tables together. So our team of 10 volleyball players have to split up and sit in different sections every time which is a huge bummer. This past Thursday night the service was just awful. It took us over 2 hours to receive our food! The waitress didn't write down any of our orders which I thought was strange. Oddly enough half of the food didn't come out because she couldn't remember what each of us ordered. Just write it down!! After that they brought out the wrong food... it was just a mess. Our bill was $215 and instead of offering to take a few pitchers of beer off the bill or give us a discount we were offered some crappy shots... Just disappointed in this place, it use to be one of my favorites.

Kellyn K.

Yelp
One of my favorite places to spend a little time on weekday evenings. The food here is quite good - the sun dried tomato vinaigrette is one of my favorite salad dressings I've had in a long time! Drinks aren't very expensive and there's a good variety of beers on tap. The employees are always sweet and attentive to customers' needs. I haven't visited on super busy nights or weekends, but I've heard the place gets quite crowded, especially when DePaul is in session.

Bailey L.

Yelp
By far the worst dining experience I have ever had! I dined at Kincade's a handful of times before the pandemic hit, but I will absolutely never go there again after my last experience. It was about exactly a year ago, but I am still so bothered by it that I feel the need to leave a review. I went to the restaurant with about 4 friends. The restaurant was busy so we didn't think anything of it when our drink order wasn't taken right away. The clock started ticking away. By the time we had been there for 30 minutes without having our drink order taken, one of my friends started trying to flag down a member of the waitstaff. It was clear that the woman we were trying to flag down was purposely ignoring us. It was very strange and when she finally came to our table she snapped at us about how busy she was and took our drink order. At this point we had now been waiting for 50 minutes. The waitress was very rude and seemed angry. We all tried to remain polite and courteous. You never know what someone has been going through, it is always best to give them the benefit of the doubt. The service remained poor the rest of the night, but we remained polite and tried not to inconvenience the waitress in any way. We tipped well and left. The next day, I became more violently ill than I have ever been in my life. The absolute worst food poisoning. It was especially unfortunate because I had my brother in town visiting from California, and I only see him once a year when I'm lucky. I was essentially incapable of functioning for about 48 hours, and the night after eating at kincade's I was so ill that I wasn't able to fall asleep until 10 am the next morning. I was up the entire night vomiting. There is nothing else I had eaten during the last couple days that would have resulted in food poisoning. It may just be happenstance that I got food poisoning from my Kincade's chicken sandwich, but when I think about the fact that the waitress was so rude and seemed so annoyed the entire time, I can't help but speculate that it was on purpose. My food was likely purposefully undercooked or tampered with. It is really unsettling as my friends and I were so incredibly polite, it is very confusing why we were treated that way. And I want to be clear that I am a very nice person if not a bit of a doormat. I have never sent a dish back in my life and will just eat the food I'm given at a restaurant even if they messed up my order. I'm a very low maintenance customer and always tip well. So I emphasize: Do not eat at this restaurant (especially if you have a busy schedule and are unable to take a couple days off for food poisoning). The waitstaff is rude, and I would not trust the food.

Yelp
My husbands fantasy baseball league met here to do their draft. Relaxed atmosphere. Casual authentic Chicago vibes. Music was good. Great craft beer menu. Had a delicious southwestern salad. Hummas was good too, I suggest it with hot sauce. My husband enjoyed his bacon cheese burger. Very attentive and sweet staff from managers, door, and bar staff. We found street parking pretty easily. Definatly give this place a try.

Yelp
Bar was dirty/sticky. I think it is pretty over priced for the quality of food. Order a chicken wrap and they used sliced cheese and the prices are weird. They charge a dollar for some bbq/buffalo sauce on the wrap. Usually that's how it comes. I've never had to pay extra for that. Not to mention it's the only bar I've ever seen that doesn't give free refills on soda. I guess they don't make enough money on there $6 beers. Save your $20. Better quality food just down the street.
google avatar

Heather P.

Yelp
Love this bar - great service and drink selection. Came for the Super Bowl and couldn't have had a better experience.

Yelp
I am so appalled by the behavior of some of the people working here. I go to Kincades basically every Wednesday. I live down the street and I have probably spent at least a couple hundred dollars here. My friend and I wanted to stop in around 12:30 am, when the bartender and bouncer rudely told us to get out because it was "last call". After I explained that we didn't even want a drink, we just wanted to sit for a second while we waited for my friends uber, he yelled at us even more and embarrassed us, telling us that we "clearly didn't know what last call meant". Last time I checked, last call doesn't mean not even being allowed inside to sit for 2 minutes so that we have somewhere safe to wait for a ride. Really disappointed -- I've never been treated like this somewhere where I go so often.

Yelp
Just last night discovered a NEW HALF OF THIS BAR. I've been here frequently and had never been to the Thursday night trivia super secret hidden back half of this bar. Crazy. Anyhow, while the trivia guy is unpleasant at times, the trivia itself is pretty tough but fun. The bartenders here are also really good at remembering names and being welcoming, too~ plus, there are several bars/bartenders, so the wait is never bad. Finally, tons of specials~ Monday $1 burgers (DELICIOUS burgers. They do not taste like $1 burgers!) & trivia at 830 up front, Wed $1 beers, Thursday 40 cent wings, $3 domestic beer, and trivia at 8pm in the back. There are probs way more specials, but this is a fun place to regularly chill. :)

Yelp
For me, I randomly stopped by for a quick bite to eat. Has a open door convertible platform. If the weather is perfect (this day it was) it's a great atmosphere. Lots of TVs to accommodate anyone that likes sports bars. I ordered the mini cheeseburgers and that came with fries for a total of 9.70. Not bad when it comes to price at all. It's a pretty straightforward place. Enjoy.
google avatar

Shoua X.

Yelp
My roommate lovessss this bar. It's a neighborhood hangout, and since we live up the street we come here quite often. It's a great spot to catch sports games and grab a bite to eat. I've tried the pizza, wings, and turkey burger here and the food is much better than you would expect from a sports bar joint. My roommate likes the food here so much that she'll get wings or pizza to take out. They have a good beer selection and the space is pretty big, so bring all your friends.
google avatar

Michael S.

Yelp
I went with some friends here and we ordered a pitcher of modelo beer and buffalo wings. They messed up our food order and gave us the beer for free. The waitress was really nice. The buffalo sauce for the wings is real hot and there are plenty of tvs to watch sports games.
google avatar

Sammi K.

Yelp
Always come here on Wednesday nights for $1 beers. Shoutout Taylor for being the homie waitress. Solid food. Have ordered takeout food from here and not as good, but eating dining-in, the food is solid. Great young crowd vibe. Check it out.
google avatar

Abby T.

Yelp
Came here to watch a March Madness game. Many places and levels to sit and TVs are everywhere. I didn't get any food but it looked delicious. Beer prices were pretty good. Great place for some drinks or hanging out after work with friends.

Yelp
First stop in Chicago. Walking in, they definitely got the bar ambiance down pat! The TVs lined the walls with a long bar. When I heard when my friend mentioned this place I mistook it as a restaurant in San Francisco... But it definitely wasn't the same. We ordered some drinks on specials as well as a pint of bacon. It was pretty simple, bacon in a cup. There were probably 8 strips of bacon. It wasn't too bad, crispy. However, you do need to know that they are really hot so be careful. They didn't really give you utensils so we sort of just gobbled it up using our hands. That was probably the height of excitement of my visit here. The drinks were on a special of a list of liquor mixes that cost me $5 each. I got a gin and tonic as well as a vodka with sprite, extremely easy. I mean, it's a bar, what else do you expect?
google avatar

Justin S.

Yelp
Great Happy Hour from 4-7... Half off everything (almost). Some great bar snacks available and I highly recommend the Pint of Bacon!

Yelp
I like sports bars. I like dive-y bars. This place? HORRENDOUS. Do not. I repeat DO NOT plan a private party here. Or set foot in this grease-stained hell-hole after 10 PM. Yeah the price for a party sounds ok at $20 for house well drinks and beer 9-12, but let me list why it's the worst idea you've ever had: 1.) One waitress for 75 people = nobody got their money's worth on drinks. You had to work for it to get even one drink per hour. And they tell you "oh with the wristband you can go to the bar too" but that is a blatant fallacy. I argued with the bartender on this one too.... got me nowhere. 2.) The whiskey is undrinkable even when it's more coke than whiskey (this coming from a girl who prefers bottom shelf liquors. No joke i'll take McCormick's vodka over Absolut). Ugh this whiskey tastes Canadian or something. And i mean that in the most insulting way possible. 3.) A midnight this place turns into a Celebration of White Trash America festival. a.) One of the Tvs was turned to girls gone wild. GIRLS GONE WILD?? WTF! Flashing fake tits on your screens is the FASTEST way to drive hot girls away from your bar. b.) Two chicks started making out by the bar with a group of gelled hair dbags cheering them on and crowding around with cameras. And to put this semi-tactfully (i know this is quite the bitchy comment) these are the kind of girls that need to make out with each other to attract the attention of guys... 4.) They played shitty rap at a volume incompatible with conversation all night. The kind of stuff you can't dance to and can't understand bc the artist's words are muddled gibberish bc... in a word....they suck. 5.) If you don't pay you're not allowed into the party area - no matter what the reason. a.) One girl drove four paying customers to the party. She wasn't drinking because she had a licensing exam the next day. No entry without pay - designated drivers are not encouraged here. b.) Older sister of the birthday girl had a visibly pregnant friend try to come by to say hello. Sorry Kincade's is too worried about you sneaking a drink (and risking birth defects to your unborn fetus) to let you stop in five minutes. I thought the point of the wristband is the waitress can serve only people that paid. Turns out it's a money grubbing scheme - and we had at least 75 people at this party. Kincade's was making BANK. they could've let in the two very legitimate non-drinkers without making them pay $20. I try to evaluate bars based on what you should expect given the venue and price. This place should get negative five stars. Select any other of the very similar lincoln park establishments and you will have a better night. I guarantee it.

Yelp
My fav bar while working in that area. I love they wings (.50 on Tuesday & Thurday). Their fish bowls are delicious!

Yelp
I went here for the first time a couple weeks ago and was VERY impressed. Their happy hour deal is amazing. The food was just okay- but what else could you expect from a classic college-ey bar? I love their little patio that's tucked under street level. I also had a great time playing trivia during their trivia night. The waitress we had was so nice and accommodating too!
google avatar

Yelp
My husband Chris and I had our post-wedding brunch at Kincades on New Year's Day. It's one of our favorite spots. Greg and Todd were super easy to work with and customized our food buffet menu and it was very affordable. The bartender Allie crushed it that day! We had a large crowd and she pumped out drinks fast and kept everyone's bills straight - super helpful!!

Yelp
Food *** / Trivia **** / Service ** / Overall *** Yesterday was my first time visiting Kincade's after walking past it for the last 10 years. Our group went to Kincade's on their reputation for having solid trivia. We are all nerdy within our own specialties and enjoy trivia very much! The daily special was a $1.00 burger. It's unrealistic to expect high quality with prices being so low. However, I was quite happy with the taste. It was higher quality than I expected. The server didn't ask how I wanted the burger prepared (more on her later), but it came out Medium so I had no complaints. Eight teams played trivia. The bar was quiet and low-key at the time, and the questions were fun and challenging. We won a round of shots and a $25.00 gift card for scoring as highly as we did. We decided that a round of Fireball shots would be appropriate as they wouldn't give anyone a hangover. After all, this was Monday night! The poor-quality service knocks down my overall impression of this bar. It was difficult to understand our waitress even though the bar was empty. She wasn't annunciating her words and was mumbling every time she spoke to our table. Evidently, she couldn't understand us very well either, because she made several mistakes throughout the night (drinks, food, checks, etc.). She disappeared after she delivered our food and never bothered to refilled drinks or condiments. In an empty bar, it took her 15 minutes to run a credit card for 20 dollars. Overall, I like Kincade's. The food and trivia are worth a return trip. However, I don't know if the waitress who served us was brand new, in a bad mood, or just a buffoon, but she dampened the entire experience. Hopefully she receives more training, or we have a different waiter/waitress next time.

Robert H.

Yelp
Absolutely the worst worst worst vodka tonic I have ever had in 55 years of drinking them. Take a cup into the john, pee in it and then have the bartender to add some vodka. Trust me, it will be better than the piss water they serve as tonic.

Yelp
This place is called Kincade's now, perhaps it's been that for a while. I never paid attention. Three bars, impressive it seems like the place just magically unfolds the more you walk on. I went there to meet up with someone and when I went to both bars I found out that there was yet another bar in the back. That's a plus because the front bars were pretty full with a bunch of guys who were confused as to why I was 6 feet in their personal area. The place was busy because it was $1 Miller light, I don't like cheap beer but I didn't pick the place so it was okay. $5 dollar cover?! no live music, no anything except $1 dollar Miller light? and the ability to rub elbows with a bunch of repugnant yuppies who thought they could karaoke to Tupac and Dr. Dre. Why bother?

been here about 5 times. Most recently came here for the Hawk's playoffs game and the USA v. Ghana game. BOTH times they kicked us to their downstairs area where the TVs are horrible because they claimed they were not going to put the sound on upstairs, which they lied about.. So we go to their downstairs area and it took them 15 minutes to open up that bar. In the mean time I went back to their main bar and tried to order a drink and was told that I could not be served and had to wait for the downstairs bar to be open. They always have a problem with moving around tables or chairs and putting the sound on for major games. I would never go back here if it wasn't for everyone wanting to go somewhere cheap.
