Came here hungry for happy hour and dinner - was seated right away then just sat there for 10 minutes while our server kept saying - “Just a minute!” while he did everything else until he finally asked someone else to help us instead. They were great and very attentive. Drinks were excellent - food was great. Even the food in the kids menu was perfect. Great view outside of planes landing. Couldn’t stick around for the steaks unfortunately.

I absolutely loved every dish we tried and definitely recommend the steak with crab! We also ordered the lobster mac and cheese seared scallops, the sampler plate is a must try! Service is great, the views are amazing! I recommend for any occasion.

Visited right at opening on Sunday at 3pm. They have plenty of space indoor and outdoor. Our table was seated by the window so it was a view since no one was sitting outdoor. We ordered 4 appetizers and two margaritas and we were stuffed! Must get the oysters and crispy shrimp! The Dijon mustard is soooooo freaking good with the shrimp! The margarita was very tasty! Out the door for two people was $115 including tax and tips. The service was a little inattentive and slow so i rated it 3 stars.

Service was good. But of course, since we were there for happy hour, felt a little short staffed, waited a bit longer for things. The happy hour food was excellent! We had the ahi poke with chips, Crispy Calamari, Warm Brie with Macadamia Nut Crust and Beef Bao buns. that would have been enough, but it was my husband's birthday. So we also got entrees, and his rib eye was perfect! I had the prime rib also great, the others had crab and shrim pasta and a burger. Plus We got $25 off for being in their Landrys program.😉

Had a really great dinner at Kincaid. This place is beautiful especially near sunset. The food was great as well, and I highly recommend the salads. Definitely recommend and will be coming back.

Had some wine in their bar, sampled several dishes, all quite nice and a joy for your taste buds. Restaurant seems to need reservations well in advance. Only drawback (and I do hope they change that) was the Hostess when entering the restaurant/bar ghis young lady was full of her self and had the attitude it was your honor to be talking to her, nails too long to efficiently work. This queen needs a humbling experience and get her feet back on planet earth. Rest of the staff was great!!

I came for the Cioppino. It was ok but does not make my top five. It did not come with any bred. The soup/broth was very rich of oil. The amount of seafood could have been a little more. I also did not get any bred for the table before so that was meh. I also did not get water. Just the beer I ordered. They also forgot the spoon when I got the meal so I had to ask for it separately. Lots of opportunities for the service to improve.

We had a great time at Kincaid’s Fish, Chop & Steakhouse. The service was amazing, and Judy took such good care of us. She was very friendly, helpful, and made sure everything was perfect. The food was delicious, but Judy’s service made the night even better. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Yelp
We hadn't been here in a few years, and were uncertain if the quality would be as good as what we had recalled, but were happy to find that it was. The food was great: the appetizers (calamari and sampler), steaks (fillets, chops), sides, and lobster bisque. The staff were friendly and attentive, including the parking lot attendant, who was especially welcoming. The atmosphere was pleasant (well maintained, clean facilities), with only a bit of extra noise due to the crowd on a Thursday evening. Overall a great experience and we will return.

Yelp
I visited Kincaid's Fish, Chop & Steakhouse in Burlingame, CA on Sunday, 2/23/25, around 8 PM. What stood out to me was the restaurant overlooking the Bay Area water. I constantly saw the airplanes flying in and out of the SFO airport. The overall views were quite pleasant, especially at night. The inside of the restaurant was beautifully dim. I enjoyed the calm, peaceful atmosphere sitting by the window. I opted for the Bay View 3-Course Meal offered at $49. I tried the following dishes: 1st Course: New England Clam Chowder - The clam chowder was beyond palatable. Enough said. 2nd Course: Slow Roasted Herb Crusted Prime Rib (10 oz. Yukon Gold mashed potatoes, au jus, spicy horseradish) - The prime rib was tender and had amazing flavor, though it was almost borderline salty. It paired well with the au jus sauce. The mashed potatoes were also smooth and creamy. Lobster Mac & Cheese (one of the dinner complements offered from the general menu; additional separate charge) - The lobster meat was the winner. The pieces were gigantic. The mac & cheese was decent. I added pepper to enhance the taste. Bread (complimentary) - The bread with the herbed-butter on top was wonderful! 3rd Course: Molten Chocolate Cake (Raspberry coulis, fresh berries, pistachio, whipped cream) - The dessert was presented beautifully. I loved the addition of the fresh fruit. The chocolate was balanced perfectly, not too rich or overly sugary. Overall, it was a heavenly dish. My server throughout my entire dining experience was Armando. He demonstrated great attentiveness and geniality. He ensured that I was provided outstanding customer service. I truly appreciated his magnificent hospitality. Kincaid's Fish, Chop & Steakhouse is a fantastic restaurant with spot-on food, service and views. I highly recommend visiting this place.

Yelp
Great service and love the appetizers and the drinks are amazing. We got there in between lunch and dinner. Glad we did, we got the full attention of our waiter. Seth was great. Overlooking the Bay, watched the planes go by non stop. Love it!!

Yelp
Serving the community since 1986, Kincaid's is a beautiful restaurant by the water day or night! Has potential to be a nice place to dine with family, on a date, or for a special occasion... if the service was better.. Location: Kincaid's looks like it's own little island out on the water. They have their own private parking area with security guards on deck. Pricing: $$-$$$$, Your usual American Seafood & Steakhouse dining - however they have a pre-fixe menu SPECIAL: $59 3-course meal! This was the best option for our group of 6. *Some restaurants require the entire table to select the pre-fixe menu but here, it is not required! Service: Unfortunately the service here was a little disappointing, and leads me to giving a 3 star review. The hosts seemed to busy talking to acknowledge us. Nobody seemed to care that our group was celebrating a 45th (underline/bold/italic here) wedding anniversary! We included it in the reservation notes and We had to ask our server a few times to bring a candle on their dessert. Ambiance: Celebrating a 45th Wedding Anniversary (not mine), the couple enjoyed being out and about for the fine dining experience. It was thankfully not too busy for a Saturday night. Loved the high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows for breathtaking views of the bay! Food: $59 | 3- Course menu -NEW ENGLAND CLAM CHOWDER: Delicious and comforting! Lots of clams and soft potatoes. Rich flavors, not too fishy! SLOW ROASTED HERB CRUSTED PRIME RIB: We ordered at medium temperature, it was a little underseasoned for my liking. I added Horseradish and au jus to every bite. Mash potatoes were silky and buttery! Pretty generous portion! CRÈME BRULEE: Favorite dessert here! The best when the brulee is dark brown and the custard is thick, sweet and creamy! FLOURLESS CHOCOLATE TORTE (I thought it was lava cake)?: Very rich decadent chocolate! Paired well with the House cabernet! Soft and moist on the inside! Overall rating 3.5! I wouldn't mind coming back..

Yelp
We had a lovely dinner for Valentines Weekend. The view was gorgeous. My only complaint here is the service needs some work. Our server was nice and he tried really hard. It was just a little sloppy, sporadic moments when we would see him and then he would disappear. Then finally, we were given the wrong check. Luckily I check before surrendering my card. They also push some rewards program on your before you pay. Seemed a bit tacky. I would go back for the food for sure.

Yelp
15 out of 10 Fabulous food awesome service. I love the quality of the food but it was not too fancy. Clam chowder was full of clam. Artichoke and crab dip had so much crab in it and my lobster tail entree..... to die for!! Perfectly cook and the butterfly drink was something!! Not too sweet but perfect. I love that you didnt have to dress fancy but felt like little special in this place.

April S.

Yelp
I was really looking forward to the macadamia nut crusted Brie, but I was incredibly disappointed. It's actually a breading, not a nutty crust like I was expecting. The sampler appetizer was disappointing as well- the artichoke dip was so oily and flavorless. Terrible teriyaki. The coconut shrimp & sauce was actually good though. I ordered a medium rare steak and it was served VERY RARE. I asked if they could just put it back on the grill for a few minutes-no big deal. But instead they brought me out a different steak that looked exactly the same in rarity. So I just accepted it and didn't even bother to say anything. No point. The chocolate molten cake dessert thing-it was spongy and custardy- not my taste at all. The waiter was polite. This is a nice, classy, clean restaurant. I will not be going back though.

Yelp
Well me and the wife have not been to Kincaid's in a long time. They were running a special prix fixed menu. And decided why not. Not disappointed what so ever. From seating, to service. Everything ran smoothly. Just remember to as for bread and salt and pepper. For some reason you have to request those items. I also had to request more Ajou and horseradish. Which were brought out in small gravy trays. Dessert was perfection. Security was outside watching over cars.

Yesenia R.

Yelp
Kincaid's was one of our dinner picks during a work trip to San Francisco, and it was definitely a great choice. The restaurant offers a beautiful water view, and if I'm not mistaken, it might be part of the same restaurant family as the Chart House in Jersey, as it gave me similar vibes. The drinks were amazing, with the perfect amount of alcohol, and they were wonderfully refreshing. Both the appetizers and entrée were spot on, and the dessert was a homerun. The staff, from the parking attendant to the waitress, were fantastic. I would definitely recommend it!

Yelp
It was a mildly pleasant surprise to have such good food. This restaurant is in a somewhat random location, surrounded by airport parking garages, and a couple of hotels. But the food was really stellar. I went with family and personally shared the beef tidbit appetizer and then had the spicy as a main. The tidbits were great, honestly not easier to make teriyaki beef so tender. It was some of the most tender steak I've had in ages The spicy ahi tuna was incredible. The tuna was melt in your mouth, buttery smooth. It's served with a really nice lightly sweet citrus sauce that pops well, and is lightly seared on the outside. I wouldn't say it was spicy at all, but it was definitely outstanding. The Keylime pie was also great, with a thick crust in perfect proportion with the pie Service was great, even starting with the parking attendant, who is really nice, threw in a recommendation and cracked a few jokes as he guided us to a spot. The ambience has giant windows looking over the bay, which is kind of tough to see anything when it's pitch dark out and the lights are on inside, but I'm sure if you went closer to sunset you might get a nicer view into the bay Would definitely go again - and to the reader, I would highly suggest ordering what I got above if it's your first time.

Yelp
Came to the restaurant on Christmas Eve and had their holiday menu, a three course selection. For the starter, we had the wedge salad with blue cheese dressing and the clam chowder. Both were good, but the clam chowder was great. It was full of clam meat and was thick and rich. Kudos to the chef. For the main course we had their cioppino and 16 oz prime rib. The cioppino had crab, shrimp, scallops, mussels, clams, calamari and fish. The red sauce was surprisingly rich and had a spicy bite to it. The prime rib was perfectly cooked and tender. The mashed potatoes were very good. Dessert was the Key Lime Pie, which is the restaurant's specialty. It was perfect. Service was great and the atmosphere was nice too.

Yelp
Kincaid's is definitely one of the Peninsula's best kept upscale dining secrets. From the location/ambiance, to the friendliness of their staff, to the food, everything was absolutely fantastic. I've had the pleasure of dining at Kincaid's both for regular dinner service, and for my own wedding dinner. From the individual diner to a group of 50 guests at our event, the food quality and the attentiveness of the staff remained at a high level of consistency. Literally every dish that the kitchen has served that we've tried: prime rib, coconut shrimp, poke, crab dip, crab arancini type balls, creme brûlée....the list goes on...has been absolutely delicious. Their prices are also more than fair as an added plus! For our wedding dinner, the chef, staff and management really pulled out all stops to ensure an enjoyable dining experience while simultaneously serving patrons in the main dining area. Color me impressed! The only slight hiccup with our experiences at Kincaid's aren't with the restaurant itself, but in the parking lot of all things interacting with the contracted private security guard. Taking a job seriously is one thing, but demanding to know the contents of one's vehicle while casually leaning on our door/window getting and getting into our personal space to verify is a whole other thing. All while donning a police department hat (one that he is not actively representing performing his assigned role). Overall, I could not recommend Kincaid's enough for the casual upscale diner and/or a large party! I can't thank the staff enough for ensuring we had a wonderful wedding celebration!

Jesse Y.

Yelp
A beautiful location with a view of the bay and airport. Clam chowder and lobster bisque were prepared well. Pan seared black cod was well seasoned and not overcooked. Prime rib was tasty but texture was that of a strip steak vs prime rib, ie a little tough.

Sheri S.

Yelp
The food at Kincaid is delicious. The service is okay, not great and not bad. we went there on a Sunday night and had leftovers that we took back to our hotel. I asked for utensils and was told it was in there. When we got back to the hotel, no utensils to enjoy our food. When there tonight (Tuesday) and ordered takeout to eat in our room. Checked our takeout bag and no utensils, was told it is something that had to be asked for ( waitress gave answer with attitude). I told her it is common sense as most people are from the nearby hotels. Not happy that I have to constantly check to make sure I have something to eat my food with.

Erika C.

Yelp
For the nearby restaurants that consistently serve prime rib (not as a special), I've tried Kincaid's, San Mateo Prime, and Broadway Prime. This review is for Kincaid's. FOOD I think San Mateo Prime and Broadway Prime taste pretty much the same, including sides. Their creamed spinach is really weird - like cream cheese goop with spinach, and both places taste the same. The baked potato at San Mateo Prime slightly edged out Broadway's because it came nice and hot. Overall, for both prime rib and sides, I prefer Kincaid's (but no popover at Kincaid's) for prime rib alone, it's the best in the area for me so far (including better than Rise Woodfire). Kincaid's mashed potatoes were pretty tasty. SERVICE Broadway Prime had hands down the best service. San Mateo Prime was OK, I have no complaints. Kincaid's had pretty slow service, we had to hunt for our server multiple times and it also took forever and multiple asks to get whatever was requested. AMBIANCE Kincaid's had the best vibe and you get a view. It's a large restaurant and feels contemporary. Broadway Prime has an old school steakhouse vibe, and worn in - in a good way, like a neighborhood mainstay. San Mateo felt like a slightly more formal steakhouse than Broadway. TL;DR Good luck getting service yet I'd still come back for the prime rib - have yet to find better prime rib nearby.

Sherri H.

Yelp
Unfortunately my experience was just ok. I was a big fan of Kincaid's but have not been there in awhile ever since they closed their east bay location. I ordered the 3 course shrimp scampi and the shrimp were so small and rubbery. The asparagus was also very thin and tough. The bread was stale with melted garlic butter drizzled on top. I decided to tell our waitress and thankfully she offered to change my dish out for another item. I chose the prime rib which was fine. Sad as Kincaids used to be one of the better steak/seafood restaurants.

Carmina D.

Yelp
Good view and good area with free parking. Nice place to stroll and for celebration. I think the food here is alright though. This is more for a place you come for the ambiance, view, get a drink of 2. Service was good but the food itself was just ok.

Alyssa V.

Yelp
We went to this restaurant on a Wednesday evening for dinner. We live in the east bay but met up with a friend who flew in to SFO. It was walking distance to their hotel which was so nice. My son loved watching the planes come in and the restaurant has a fantastic view. We didn't have a reservation but they were able to get us seated relatively quickly. We had calamari which was good and my hubby and i split the sea bass. It was fantastic but i do think the portion was small for a dish that is over $50. The kids meals were an amazing deal coming with a drink and ice cream. We also had a peach sidecar which was good but a little on the sweet side. I would definitely come back!

Colette J.

Yelp
Note: the pictures attached to this review are from December 2021 and do not reflect the quality of the restaurant today. This restaurant has gone down in quality unfortunately. It's still absolutely gorgeous on the inside, however upon your arrival you're met with a security guard in the parking lot who informs you not to leave valuables in your car due to consistent car break ins in the area. Obviously this is the bay area so that's not surprising, just something to keep in mind. I went to this restaurant in December of 2021 for lunch and really enjoyed myself. Oh how the great have fallen. Their caesar salad is still good--it's hard to mess up a classic like that. But when I went back for my birthday dinner in February of 2022, I was absolutely not impressed. I had a party of 5. We all got calamari to start, 2 people got shrimp and grits. "Grits" because those were not grits at all, more like polenta and each dish had about 3 shrimps max. Next for our main courses almost all of us ordered fish and chips and each plate looked completely different. One plate looked like actual cod caught and cooked, the other two plates just looked like frozen fish reheated. The textures of the shrimp were different and so were the sizes. Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures. When we dined there back in 2021 my mother ordered their bread pudding for dessert and it was absolutely delicious. The brioche was soaked in a rich and creamy vanilla-y mixture and the raisins added a nice bite. She ordered that same bread pudding in 2022 and it was completely different. The bread wasn't brioche, there were no raisins, and there was a crumble topping on top that she didn't care for. Unfortunately, with this last experience, the best part about it was the dinner bread that they give you as you wait for your food because of the garlic and herb butter that is served along with it. I do hope things change as this used to be one of my favorite restaurants for special occasions. The views that you get from the dining room near the windows are still spectacular!

Sione K.

Yelp
Very disappointing experience. From customer service to food. The parking lot was full so we "thought" we hit the right spot for a date night. We walked in and was greeted by a male hostess. We asked if they had availability for 2. He said let me check and said it'll be a few seconds and that other hostess (female) will take us to our table. The female hostess looked a little irritated. Other walk -ins came in and she immediately helped them to their tables right away. Usually I would leave cause I don't like supporting businesses with rude employees. Anyhow we stuck around and made it to our table. The atmosphere was lively and vibrant. We took our seat and skimmed through the menu. It took about 25 minutes for a waiter to finally come over and take our drink order. Fortunately for him we had our drinks, appetizers and entrees ready to order. Food: 1. tasting sampler - Oven Roasted Crab & Artichoke Dip, Seared Teriyaki Tenderloins, Coconut Shrimp 2. 3 course meal - salad, prime rib and chocolate cake dessert . 3. 3 course meal - salad, salmon and crème brûlée. The tasting sampler seemed like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for a long time. Coconut shrimp and tenderloin was tough and rubbery. The dip was dry. 3 course meal we didn't get our salads. The prime rib was super bland. No trace of any herb crust anything. The salmon had an awful topping that smelled of ammonia. The dessert was the best thing. Hope you have a better experience.

Kelly G.

Yelp
I ordered the 3 course dinner with a view. Added a salad and bisque soup. Paired with wine and asked the waiter to bring me a glass of wine that he likes. Food great. Service great. If you're staying at the embassy suites on Anza walk that trail to the left out the front doors. 5 minutes. Orrrrr like me take the Uber and pay $20. Hahahaha Check it out! Yum.

Cielita C.

Yelp
First time trying this restaurant & it was good! Our server was very attentive, the ambiance inside is really nice and it even has a nice view. There's even a security guard roaming around the parking lot and he was very friendly too. My family & I tried their 3 course menu and it's pretty worth it. We had the clam chowder which is probably my favorite out of everything I've tried, Ribeye steak & chocolate cake for dessert. I had a really great time and enjoyed the food and ambiance. I'll for sure be back to try other food options from the menu!

Ronesha J.

Yelp
I met a friend here for dinner and we had a wonderful experience! There is plenty of parking and there was a parking attendant present on our Thursday night visit. We had a reservation and we were seated right away. The ambiance was good, the food was good and the service was okay. I would definitely visit again if I was in the area.

Catherine Q.

Yelp
Came on Thanksgiving day at around 2pm since my family and I were in the area and saw that they were open!! Great location, near the bay and in a quiet area. Plenty of parking. We didn't have a reservation so only the patio was open but it was a nice sunny day outside! Service was a bit slow but given that it was a holiday. Since it was Thanksgiving there was only one set menu- a 3 course all inclusive dinner. Caesar salad was good!! Very lightly dressed which I enjoyed. Clam Chowder and Lobster Bisque were both on the salty side although the lobster bisque was so salty I could barely eat it. The lobster bisque also had a weird bitter taste to it- do not get!! The main courses we got (prime rib, seafood trio, and ciber brandy salmon) were okay, nothing much to say pretty standard. The desserts were pretty good- got the creme brulee, pumpkin pie, and warm chocolate cake. Definitely one of those restaurants you go for the ambiance not really the food!

Glen G.

Yelp
Good food and superb service! I'll be back! Parking is good, the drink selection is fabulous.

Lia K.

Yelp
We came here Monday night and had reservations for 7pm. It was extremely busy. It felt cramped and it was really loud inside. We were seated on time which was nice, but everything took a long time. The service was slow, and I'm not sure if that's normal or not. We ordered calamari, coconut shrimp, and the gochujang shrimp for appetizers. They seemed like they were sitting for a while before they came to the table. Nothing tasted fresh and hot. The gochujang was really good, but I wish it was hot. I was put off by the appetizers, so I only ordered a Gorgonzola pear salad. It had good flavor, but too much dressing, so my lettuce was soggy. I tried my moms ribeye and it was tasty. A few steaks at the table were not cooked for how we asked. One came medium well and he ordered medium rare, another was medium rare but was ordered medium well. The mashed potatoes were nice and creamy. The bread had way too much salt on it. We all agreed at the table that most of the entrees were also heavily salted. And for dessert we for creme brûlée, carrot cake, and key lime pie. The creme brûlée was really good. The topping was perfectly caramelized. I didn't like the crust for the key lime pie. It seemed soggy. But the red was good. And I didn't try the carrot cake, but the table seemed to have enjoyed it. Again, if the service and food was better I'd consider coming back, but nothing wowed me or my party.

Christine C.

Yelp
We visited Kincaid's for Father's Day. The restaurant has amazing views of the bay and you can watch planes land at SFO. Dinner was a prefixe for Father's Day and the meal was ok, but definitely not the best. We started with calamari for the table. I had the lobster bisque which was topped with chunks of lobster. It was rich and creamy. I had the 12 oz prime rib for dinner served with mashed potatoes. The horseradish will clear your sinuses. My mom ordered the Moroccan Mahi Mahi. While the couscous was delightful, the fish was visibly overcooked. For dessert, I had the key lime pie. It was refreshing but I would've preferred my pie a bit more tart. Service was attentive but definitely busy because of the holiday.

Anitra K.

Yelp
Nice view of the bay near SFO. You can see the airplanes coming in over the water. In the distance you can see downtown SF and the Bay Bridge. Nice restaurant, with a standard look for Landry's brand restaurants. Our waitress was very nice and friendly but some other staff didn't look happy (a smile goes a long by way). I would return but the only disappointment was we ordered from the prefix menu for $49. 3 of us ordered the prime rib (around 7:30pm). After about 15 minutes the waitress returned to say they only had 1 prime rib left in the restaurant. We couldn't substitute the beef for another beef item for the same price (only chicken breast was the alternative). Fine if we have to change our order, It wasn't a big price difference but they should have honored the price for an alternative beef because they ran out out of what they were offering as a special. (Menu didn't mention while supplies last). So if you want to ensure you get a meal from the prefix menu, go early!

Tan P.

Yelp
This is a solid 4 star establishment. It is convenient to anyone staying near the Hilton Bayfront (4 minute walk) and offers a nice sized menu for food and drinks. Venue: Very classy restaurant and comfortable booth seats if you can get one. Having a reservation on a Friday night helped. There are lots of big windows and I can only imagine how beautiful it would be to eat here during the day with the nice views. Service: Service was good. Our waiter was attentive and checked on us regularly. The food came out timely and so did our check. Food: The food was above average. Dishes were well presented and served warm to hot. The quality is good, but not extravagant or unforgettable. The portions were pretty large and my wife and I easily shared an appetizer and an entree and were stuffed. Our kids both liked their meals. The kids menu was a surprise since I didn't read too many children experiences on Yelp. Their cocktail menu is very large and creative. I loved big cocktail and highly recommend to everyone. Overall, this is a nice restaurant with good food for a family. Drinks are also good and creative. Again, make a reservation and avoid the wait when you check in.

Mimi P.

Yelp
Great security. They have a security guard monitoring the parking lot. He was great. We arrived at the restaurant on a rainy night, which is rare in California. Our server, Anthony attended our table. It was a busy evening as the dining room waS packed. Anthony took our drink and appetizer orders. We started off with cocktails and oyster on a half shell. Delicious. We ordered our entrees and a bottle of wine with dinner. We also ordered a wedge salad to share. They were kind enough to split our entrees. We also enjoyed their creme brulee for dessert to end our lovely evening.

Brianna T.

Yelp
First time going to Kincaid's. It's a great hidden gem! Views by the water. SF Bay Trail right outside. Quality of the food was amazing. So flavorful! Also great customer service even during a very busy dinner rush! Highly recommend!

Sandra M.

Yelp
Beautiful views and ambience. Food was delicious and so were the drinks. The staff was friendly as well.

Yelp
My buddy took me and another buddy here to thank us for helping renovate his condo up in The City. I got there early (took Lyft since I was definitely going to enjoy a libation or two) and tried to sit in the bar. Alas, the bar has gone The Way of The House of Prime Rib: Many people were seated there for dinner service. Bah. My friends showed up and we were seated near the large windows facing SFO. Always fun to see the planes coming in for landing! Reminds me of back in the day up the road eating at El Torito or, for those of you who remember, Saluto's. ;-) We ordered oysters for starters and I got the 7 oz. Filet Mignon with mushrooms on the side. DELISH! The wine we ordered was The Prisoner red blend, and I think I found my new favorite daily red wine to enjoy with dinner (if it calls for it, otherwise it's Far Niente Chardonnay!). A trip to Kincaid's isn't cheap, so I really appreciate my friend taking me out to dinner here. I'll have to do it again sometime soon!

Yelp
My boyfriend and I love Kincaid's! It feels a little more upscale while still being intimate and casual, which is perfect for special date nights. We did not have reservations both times we have visited but visited around dinner (5p-7p) and were seated within 20 minutes for both trips. This is our second trip here and we started off the night with their macadamia nut crusted brie. For our entrees I got the shrimp and crab fettuccine and he got the 9oz filet mignon, he subbed the asparagus for a second helping of their yummy mashed potatoes. ( I had to include a picture of our first trip since we were so excited to eat that we forgot an entree picture the second time around). The fettuccine is the perfect mix of creamy seafood flavors and the filet was cooked perfectly both times (medium as requested)! For dessert we had the cheesecake and the complementary anniversary crème brûlée, which were both to die for! All of their desserts are made in house besides the cheesecake, but everything on the dessert menu sounded so delicious it was hard to choose. I've had their effervescence cocktail, which is mostly just citrus notes and their botanical berry mule which was very gingery. Overall not a go-to place for cocktails but they are priced about average for the area and are still very yummy. To sum it up, service is very friendly and attentive , the ambiance is cozy with a beautiful view over the water, and the food is delicious!

Yelp
I ordered the oven roasted crab and artichoke, it was absolutely delicious but the toasted baguette was chewy and hard. I ordered the prime rib medium rare and it came out perfectly cooked and seasoned, but it got cold very quickly. Thank you to our lovely server, he gave me a complimentary creme brûlée for my birthday which was so smooth and tasty! Second time coming here and I would recommend it for a casual or even fancy dinner. Try and catch the sunset, beautiful view by the water.

Yelp
Unfortunately, this visit was soured by a couple items. 1. The restaurant needs to reign in their parking security guard. He has no sense of personal space, leans through your window into the car, and forces you to park where he deems worthy. There are plenty of spaces and if I would like park as close as I can (handicap parking) because both my parents have placards and need help walking, then I will park as close as I can or in the handicap spot if available. He comes so close to talk to you that you can smell his breath and feel his spit when he talks. I'll give some grace because I know he wants to do his job well, but I can hear you if you stand a comfortable distance away from me. In addition, please don't touch us. That is seriously uncomfortable. I understand you want to help, but my parents and grandma don't need to be rushed to get out of the car or pulled up by him. I understand he wants to help, but he doesn't know how being pulled up can actually hurt them. My parents and grandma are just too polite to refuse a second time and be firm. They politely declined once, but he continues to push. 2. Your front hostess is absolutely rude. She rolled her eyes and was extremely dismissive when I asked a question about having requested a window seat when my reservation was made IN MARCH for MAY. I made it as far ahead as possible because I wanted my grandma to enjoy her 90th birthday. Of course she ignored me and they stuck us, the brown people in the corner with no view, while all the other tables were open for their more "desired" customers. When another gentleman led us to the table, we asked if we could have a nicer table with a view as requested. Their customer service is horrible because he made all the excuses and then led us to a non window table. However, the best parts: The food was delicious and every item we tried was delicious. Even better, our server was an absolute gem! She was so friendly, sweet, and considerate! She was so kind to my dad and grandma and went that extra mile to make them feel good. She constantly checked in on us to make sure everything was great and made sure we had everything we needed. She is a treasure and she made the experience 5 stars! As we were leaving, I stopped by the hostess desk to ask for the manager and to give recognition to our server. The hostess was again as rude as ever and was so curt when I asked to speak to the manager about our server. She said there was no manager available so I told her about how wonderful the server was instead. She continued to be dismissive and stone faced and just said she will let the server know. Why are you the host when you act like any customer interaction is a bother? Also, I didn't want the server to know how great she was as I had already told her myself how much I appreciated her. I wanted her manager to know what a great employee she was and how she made the whole birthday memorable and that the food was terrific.

Yelp
This restaurant is outstanding. Food, service and setting all top tier. The restaurant has large windows for great views of the bay. They have an extensive wine list, loved all their offerings from Sonoma & Napa vineyards. I didn't have a cocktail, but they looked beautiful. The artichoke crab dip served with crostini was amazing. I could have eaten that as my entree . I had their 7oz filet topped with crab and béarnaise sauce. It was served with golden mashed potatoes and asparagus. Ordered it medium rare and it was cooked perfectly. So delicious! Crème brûlée was the choice for dessert. I don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu. Service was fantastic and I was with a larger group (16) which can sometimes be a challenge for waitstaff, but not here. Would be a great place to celebrate a birthday or anniversary. I don't live in the area, but next time I'm in town I hope to come back. This is one of those stand out places.

Yelp
It is painful to write this review. I was a regular at Kincaid's in the early 2000s, but I stopped eating there for some reason. It's been over 10 years, but after tonight's experience, I remembered why. Friday Night 1/3 at 6:30 (Half-empty restaurant) Food: OK Chilean Seabass w/Risotto - Chilean Seabass was overcooked and bland. How can a seabass be overcooked? The Gorgonzola risotto came out lukewarm, and parts were cold. Poke--the fish was bland. Shrimp and crab fettuccine--this was good. Appetizer Sampler Plate--this was good. Service: Poor Our server started out attentive. She took our appetizer order, but after that, things went downhill. She was nowhere to be found, and we waited forever for her to return to take our main course order. We had to ask twice for more toasted bread slices for our warm brie and crab/artichoke dip. Our server acknowledged our request but seemed to have forgotten. I had to ask again after waiting for over 5 minutes. We had to ask our server to refill our water. She came around once, and that was it. Luckily, we sat next to the water pitcher; I ended up filling it myself since she rarely came by. I ordered a bowl of soup, but it never arrived. Similarly, the crab cracker and shell bowl did not come with my brother's cioppino. When he asked for a cracker for his crab, everything that should have been brought out with the cioppino appeared when he was just about finished. Rather than coming around to clear our plates, she asked us to hand them to her. She then cleared my brother's dishes, but he was not done eating. We brought our mother to Kincaid's to celebrate her birthday. After clearing our plates, she brings out a crème brûlée with a candle for her, and then, about a few minutes later, she asks the rest of us if we want to see the dessert menu. I thought that was a bit strange. Instead of asking the table first before bringing out the celebratory dessert. Conclusion: It felt like we got the B team tonight, from the food preparers to the wait staff. The food was hit or miss. Service was disappointing. It seemed as though today was our server's first day as a new wait staff member with no or no proper training. I wanted to say it was a busy evening, but the restaurant was not even full. In the past, when I frequented Kincaid's, the dining room was packed, the entrance area was also packed with people waiting, and the bar area was filled. Unfortunately, I'm still living in the past. I hope one day Kincaid's can go back to its glory days, but tonight's experience shows me they have a very long way to go.

Yelp
The service is excellent despite we went on a Friday night with no reservation and the place was very busy. The maitre D was very accommodating. We were told it was a two hour wait but I told her my very elderly mom had blood sugar problem, they made room to accommodate us within half hour wait. The food was delicious with huge portion. Overall, we had a great experience.

Yelp
Reservations can be made on OpenTable. There's lots of parking, with a parking attendant at the entrance. It was my first time at Kincaid's and was pleasantly surprised. Our server was helpful (it was my first time there), patient and attentive. The view of the water is so nice, especially around sunset. The food was good. The portions were bigger than I anticipated but a little overcooked. The molten chocolate cake wasn't what I expected. I was hoping the cake would be filled with liquid and the outer layer more like a cake texture. The molten chocolate cake was more like a truffle.

Yelp
Came here to celebrate a birthday and it was really nice. Compared to the Kincaid in Jack London Square, this one is well lit, the menus are a good size font and it's a huge restaurant. We were seated at a table overlooking the water and it was beautiful. Our server was fairly attentive and food came out decently fast. I do wish the sampler platter and the salads had a bit more going on as we were a party of 6 and there wasn't that much food on either. The seafood pasta, quite rich, was very tasty and all the seafood was well cooked. The sea bass and the black cod were the standouts of the night. They have an okay wine selection and I wish they had more wines by the glass. Dessert was a miss and I would pass. The security card is very attentive and friendly; making sure to not leave any valuables or electronics in your vehicle. Overall, for a seafood restaurant, pretty good

Yelp
Went to Kincaid's for a nice turkey dinner and was very disappointed. The turkey was very dry, the gravy was very thick, the beans were tasteless, the pumpkin pie was the worst I've ever had. Could not taste any pumpkin or cinnamon, could not ever eat it. Will never ever go to Kincaids again. Will not recommend and people as me about I will tell them about my Thanksgiving dinner. Improve your food.

Yelp
Came here with my mom for a post Christmas dinner. It wasn't busy but I do suggest making a reservations when you can. The interior is outdated and the service is decent. The wagyu steak was pretty good and the security outside recommended the key lime pie. Average to above average food.

Yelp
Love this restaurant. Food quality is great., service is strong. Great views. Parking lot guard can be shaky. I recommend this restaurant.

Yelp
This place has been here a long time. Used to come here for holiday parties with my parents. The views are great, but the place itself lacks quality control. Everything inside needs a deep cleaning, you can see the dust everywhere. The food was meh. You can find better seafood for the same price. Service was good, and drinks were solid. Great place for a large group, and parking is easy.

Yelp
I didn't have any issues at this restaurant, granted, I had a reservation two months prior to this Mother's Day weekend dinner so no complaints about service. I think our waiter was really great for accommodating a group of 12, but the food was lackluster. For having a seafood dish, my seafood was over cooked. My grandmother couldn't finish her salmon because it was so dry. Some aspects of my dinner were tasty, the boniato mash was delicious, and the Cajun flavor was good. I definitely think this place's draw is the ambiance of being right by the water and seeing planes fly into SFO. Otherwise, it's just mediocre and expensive.

Yelp
The food was nicely presented, fresh and seasoned well to the taste. Service was ok, understand that it may not have been fully staffed that day we waited along awhile to get water and even a server to get our drinks. There was also a long wait between apps to entree to dessert and no one checked in on us or refilled our waters. If you get a table near the window you would get a view of the Bay but since our table was in the middle not much of any view. If you're staying near the airport and looking for a variety of dishes they have a massive menu.

Yelp
My dad took me here for dinner before I left town - and people definitely come here for the views. We were sat quickly, after arriving with a reservation, and were given a prime window seat - where you can see across the Bay and into downtown. We both started with the lobster bisque - it was delicious! Straight cream, honestly, but so good. Then, my dad got a steak, which he enjoyed. I got the lobster and shrimp pasta - it was fine. I definitely ate the seafood out of it - but it just wasn't my favorite dish. Overall, I think the food is fine and it feels like a restaurant trying to be nicer than it actually is? Like, it is past its prime?
