I just moved out of Kindred after being a resident for a year, though I would have absolutely stayed if I wasn't moving in with my partner. I loved the building itself as well as the location. As a female living alone, I never felt unsafe walking her around the neighborhood or down the creek path whether it be 7am or midnight.
I hear so many horror stories about renting from apartments with noisy neighbors, rude staff, dirty premises, hidden costs, etc. but I am so proud to say I never experienced anything like that at Kindred. All the staff is wonderful -- Brandon, Kamila in the office, Summer and Joe with maintenance, all the cleaning staff, everyone is so helpful and friendly. Cements walls and floors kept noise to a minimum, and the property was always kept as clean as possible.
Yes some reviews mentioned downed elevators and flooding, but it's a brand new build which come with issues. They are immediately on top of it and fix the problems as best and quickly as they can. Any maintenance issues I had were fixed that same day.
My only complaint would be the irresponsible dog owners who let their dogs go potty on the walls or in the dog run without picking up. I wish they would've done the DNA profile to charge those owners, but poor maintenance really did a great job with keeping it as clean as they could.
